- GRACE (6/5): Our stay in the not so grand palace - The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean except for poor water pressure and not having hot water in the shower marred our stay esp after a long day out looking forward to a nice warm shower instead, we have a trickling shower and cold water. Requested maintenance to rectified it the next day - it was not fixed when we came back and a helpful technician came and managed to fixed the water pressure and the temperature of the water.
- SIM KEE (4/5): - I am a regular guest of Grand Palace for several years. My last stay (21-22 Feb 2023) in Room 208 was my worst experience. *i tried to check in at 10am. The receptionist insisted on charging RM30. I have never been asked to pay for early check in. I checked in early in my previous stay (8-10 Feb 2023) without incurring additional charge. * check in was slow. They could not find my booking. *Toilet was dirty. Dead cockroach in bath tub. *had to take stopper out of sink and bath tub because water could not flow out *room door could not lock properly

- VUI (10/5): Oldie but goodie - Grand Palace is an oldie but goodie. The price is very reasonable now, and it is well maintained, clean and spacious. However the hotel could provide firmer pillows for better sleep.

Decent family-friendly pool and whirlpool jacuzzi, sauna and steam room (working at men's side only). Location and parking is excellent. Good food aplenty, including in-house famous Chinese restaurant. 15 mins to Miri city centre by car.

The location is 5 min by car from City Center next to the highway for easy access to Lutong, on to Brunei or to Airport. Very good Gym for a hotel. Breakfast is just so so.

I have great respect that Grand Palance can compare to Hilton bed standard like Thailand . Tq fir good reception welcome n the bell biys n security.

Waiters just ignored us, we have to get empty tables by ourselves. It takes longer times for them to clean the table & we requested several to get ckean spoons and forks

- Georgio (10/5): Exceptional Hotel in North Miri - Spent 6 nights in this hotel from our trip to Mulu NP and Brunei. The Superior Room has a comfortable size. The floor rooms are quiet. The pool is very pleasant. Staff is very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is tasty, although during the week the menu doesn't have too much varieties. If you can live with that you'll be satisfied. If not, the restaurants and bakeries in the surroundings of the hotel serve a lot of selection of different kind of foods. The mall just beside the hotel provides basic foods too. This hotel is recommended to everyone.
