- Jimmy (8/5): - A l arrivée très déçu car les chambres, du 2eme bâtiment, sont vétustes et on entend tout ce qu'il se passe dans le couloir. Et la piscine est dans le même état. Après les lits sont très confortables, si vous restez plusieurs nuits les serviettes et les lits sont changés chaque jour et le personnel est adorable. Très grand choix de plat Thai pour le petit déjeuner, sauf en boisson. Et l'hôtel est proche du night market qui est juste un délice ! Que le samedi soir !

The walls a very thin and sound travelling from door closing can be heard. Location is also not convenient, but you can still get around using Grab.

- Jasvindar (1/5): Untrustworthy staff, old worn out facilities and rooms. - Being helped with my bags and transport to the bus station. My first room smelled so they agreed to move me. I woke up after 10 mins of attempted sleep too terrible pain. The sunken mattress was old with broken metal springs that were aggravating a recent injury. There were cockroaches and and an ants nest in the room. I was advised to sleep in a cot and the staff that agreed to come up and put fresh sheets on it did not show up; they left. I had to go down again to ask another staff member. They did agree to offer a full refund as I could not stay another night, this was not what I paid for and the room was not as pictured or described. I had to book another hotel room who also cancelled on me at the last minute. I ended up having to leave Chiang Mai altogether as there were no places to stay for to the Loy Krathong festival. The manager agreed to provide a full refund. He said that he would have to wait to hear from Booking.com. However, when I spoke with Booking.com they said that this was not the procedure, they would need the managers confirmation. Despite my efforts to prompt the manager to do this; he never did so, saying that he would have to have that green light from "our third party". Unfortunately, I feel like was just being given lip service with no intention of ever providing my refund. Booking.com's hands were tied because they could not legally agree the refund without the Hotels confirmation. The manager has been ignoring my calm emails to request this. I also witnessed other guests making complaints about their rooms and being moved.

- Cian (8/5): Very good - My family was facing issues finding a place to stay due to the peak Loy Krathong and Yi Peng celebrations coupled with a wrong booking made before the trip. However, Semut from Pangviman has helped us immensely. He went beyond his duties to help us look for accommodation notwithstanding the challenges of it. He exhausted all his avenues and contacts to help us book a night stay before we left the town the next morning. He went the extra mile to ensure that we arrived at the new accommodation safely by constantly communicating with the driver and receptionist in Thai. We are indebted to his kindness and dedication. The hotel has a small gym & a swimming pool. Lots of eateries near the hotel. For what we paid, I think it provided everything we needed. The only shotcoming is cleanliness as we found lots of hair on the floor.

- Frances (8/5): What to expect at Pangviman Place 1 - There are two buildings at Pangviman Place and we were in the older (just 6 years old) building. Great price and value for the money. A few odd things - like toilet in sliding glass doors along with the shower, no bar soap, just shower gel. Breakfast is very good - does not favor western food, very "light" tea also. Pool is salt water and nice - using googles will prevent your eyes from stinging afterward. Lots of staff outside in the parking lot who were helpful. You are just a bit outside the touristy part of town, but close. Not our favorite location, but still great for what you are paying.

There is a beautiful view of the bangkok city from the main restaurant which is exceptional. There was a lot of selection for the breakfast but will have been good if it was kept warm. There was access to free wifi but only at the the bar area which was quite inconvenient. It will be useful if they can upgrade the wifi to allow access in rooms.

- Jim (4/5): Séjour a chiang mai - Hôtel avec des taies d oreiller un peu sales , très bruyant et internet qui se coupe à une heure du matin.il serait bien si les plats changeaient pour le buffet du petit déjeuner et pas de jus d'orange au petit déjeuner. De plus on avait une chambre pour 3 personnes et une autre pour une seule personne et on nous a fait paye un extra bed alors qu on a réservé pour 4 . L extra bed avait un matelas très fin donc pour dormir un cauchemar et il y avait plein de moustiques dans la chambre. Cependant personnel souriant .

Crew - They cannt speack English, and very impolite. I can speak and understand Thai but they chafed by Thai themselves in front of me. Beside, one of crew, she pitched her mobile on the desk. 3. Room - Room was big and simple, but house keeper just changed bed sheet. In the wastebasket, waste was.

Most of the staff was good, the only draw back was that the people at Reception did not speak English very well. The breakfast is good, shower fine, internet worked. The neighborhood is alright, though some streets are not well lit at night.

The staff were always helpful and kind to our children. The only downside, a little out or town, but well worth it for the other advantages.

- Verified traveler (8/5): ナイトバザールからは、離れているが、静かで落ち着いたホテル。 - ﾁｪﾝﾏｲ着が、深夜だったので、空港からタクシーで行った。１６０Ｂだった。ナイトバザールからは、歩いて３０分ぐらいかかるが、静かでノンビリ過ごすにはよい。朝食も、ビュッフェ形式で料理の品数も多く、十分満足できた。ホテル料金も大変リーズナブルだったので、また機会があれば、利用したいと思っている。

- Verified traveler (10/5): 長く滞在するには最適でしょう - 旧市街から少し離れていますが。たいへん静か環境で移動の足さえ確保できるのであればコストパフォーマンスの大変良いホテルではないかと思われます。朝食メニューも一見定番の料理が並ぶようですが、毎日少しづつ変わります、例えばカレーも赤、白、グリーンと変わりますし他のメニューも材料が少しずつ味付けも少しずつ変わります。旅先の豪華な朝食を望まないのであればこの価格では十分だと思います。

Pillows were like serviettes and when we asked for more we were charged 20baht per extra pillow. Breakfast was adequate but not the best. Although bathrooms are clean the mildew and black stained grouting makes it look filthy. But like i said you get what you pay we spent around 7 hours every day in the room the rest of the time we were out so it didnt bother us too much. We paid €83 for 3 nights including return flights from bangkok. :-)

- LIUYAN (6/5): 离中心太远其他还不错 - 整体都还不错，还有免费的早餐 价格一般再清迈来说 主要就是离主城太远了 坐车很不方便 除非租车
- Soren (6/5): Basic Thai hotel - It was okay.Way out of the old town 100 baht tuk tuk there and sometimes more back.Breakfast stops at 09.30.Bad echo in the corridors so you can hear everybody coming and going.Had a leak from the toilet told reception first day,nothing was done to repair it, we were there for 5 days!
- manuel (6/5): poor cleaning place - The shower looks like they never clean in months. Didn't refill the shampoo and soap. Very poor hotel more like 1 start
- Vitaliy (2/5): Terrible experience in the "old" building. - Let's just start off listing all of the negatives because there is really not much good that can be said about a hotel for this price in Thailand. -The room is dirty -There was a "access door" to the pipes in the wall near my shower that was not closed -The towels were dirty -The sheets were dirty -The walls were dirty -There was dogs outside barking and making noise ALL night. -Walls are paper thin -Not a great location -The breakfast was bland. -If you like hot showers, you can forget about it, just warm.
- Verified traveler (4/5): just not my cup of tea - Very thai. Staff is ok. Breakfast is poor and more for the Asian clientele then western. Its hard to say whats wrong with it, we just did not feel comfortable and moved out after 2 nights.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Poor Location - Hotel was some distance away from the town, the staff were less than helpful arranging any transportation, would rather send you out to the main road to hail a taxi or tuk tuk. On Sunday this was practically impossible to find and i ended up walking about 2 miles before i found one.
- Dave (6/5): A bit too far from town - Nice enough place. Staff good, clean, nice pool, breakfast not very good.
