Photography (8/5): - Bed was comfy! The towels. I smelt like curry for hours after going into the lobby to check out that morning. But other than those two things it was good!
Gayle (9/5): - The hotel is located near truck parking and practically in the Walmart parking lot. However, it was quiet and one of the best hotels we stayed in over our 4 week road trip. It was beyond my expectations! High ceilings, immaculate throughout, and very well maintained. The staff went out of their way to help us upon check-in. We had been traveling for hours and were exhausted. The clerk checked us in in record time! The property really reflects a proprietor who is involved, has good taste, and has / sets a high standards. Our compliments to them!

Kelly (6/5): - Comfortable room. The fridge didn't get cold. My ice blocked didn't freeze over night and my food wasn't cold. The only functioning ice machine is on the first floor so you had to go down to get ice rather than use the one on your floor. Limited areas to potty dogs and having to use the elevator with guests who are not able or willing to keep their pets on a leash and under their control make the stay unpleasant.
Robert (10/5): - I tend to avoid low budget hotels. I was nervous booking this hotel because it was WAY cheaper than other hotels in the area. Upon reading the reviews, I was reluctant to try this place. I’m trying to save some money in this trip, so I figured I’d try it. I’m traveling alone, and got a basic room. Very clean room. Water pressure in shower was great. Hotel is right off the freeway. My only mark downs in my stay. The bed is firm, and the pillows were small. But I’m in a basic room, and the bed was not a queen bed, definitely smaller. And NO shampoo in the room. Which for me was a bummer, because I had some in the car but didn’t realize there was none until I was in the shower. I would definitely recommend a stay here if passing through.

The car was hanging off the wall. Though it's not the motels property a fence or some type of wall needs to be put up to prevent any future liability between the carwash and motel.

For example i stayed in another one the next night and it had owner operaters that were not originally from the US and lack of maintenance was clearly visible in the room physically and by the smell. So, again the Motel 6 in Sidney NE was great! I will stay there again:) The other one i mentioned, never again:)

Rhonda (10/5): - The hotel was very clean. The cleanest Motel 6 I’ve seen in a long time. Very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint would be the dog poop around the building. This is NOT the fault of the motel this is the responsibility of the guests that bring their dogs! I travel with two dogs and it’s great to have a hotel that doesn’t charge me extra to have my dogs with me. As a dog owner I find it rude and irresponsible to not clean up after your own dogs. This is probably why more places don’t allow dogs because people don’t take responsibility and clean up after them. I can’t imagine not cleaning up after my dogs and expecting someone else to do it.

Edward (10/5): Grandchild visit. - We've stayed at the Motel 6 in Sidney twice now and it was a pleasant experience both times. It's a no frills hotel but it's clean, convenient and doesn't cost much. Most importantly it's clean. I can do without breakfast and we take our own shampoo anyway so we don't miss those things. Most travelers will agree the most important thing is cleanliness, so this was hotel is a good place to stay.

Chose this because it was higher rated than other economy choices. It was unbelievably clean, felt new. Very quiet & comfortable. Had a small fridge & microwave (which we didn't need, but nice touch) Friendly staff. Probably the cleanest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in.

Very nice fridge freezer combo and microwave is best thing about entire experience.

As we were leaving our cat jumped to the windowsill, as I picked him up I noticed two tinny jumping fleas. I checked all over to see if I could see more. Everything else was clean. I’m assuming they just hatched. My animals wear flea collars, but I like to keep them safe.
