- Erin (8/5): Comfortable inner city short stay - Light filled and comfortable short stay at the Aura on Flinders. The layout of bedroom and living room was great for some work and a good nights sleep. Tucked in a lovely little street close to the Convention Centre. There was a constant buzzing type of noise in the entrance bedroom. That was the only distraction from what was a comfortable stay. Hope it is easily fixable.

Great location for the trams needed for our excursions. No clothes dryer. Could do with more sink space in bathroom. Lip at edge of tiled area at kitchenette a bit sharp. Dish washer ‘out of order’ but reception did say we could get cleaner to do them, but we did them ourselves.

The couch definitely needs an upholstery clean, the extra blanket had a big hole in it. The apartment was clean, but I'm not sure how it can be classified as a 4star with the cheap, damaged and very worn furnishings etc

- Annie (10/5): Fantastic stay in Melbourne CBD - This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I've been very happy with my stay both times! Our room was so spacious with a great view, the bedding was comfortable, and all the staff were so friendly. The location is great with multiple tram stops and the Southern Cross station within a few blocks' walk. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the location, especially compared to other nearby options.

Couch was cheap and not comfortable, lack of proper maintenance re painting and plaster condition, no biscuits with tea and coffee provisions, no internet connection for TV, condition of pots pans etc poor.

Can't wait to visit again! - This is the second time my daughter and I have stayed here, and we will continue to do so every time we come into the city for a concert or event. Staff are always available if you need any help. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Our room this time had a wonderful view of Southbank. Purely a personal preference, the pillows were a bit too high and hard for me.

- Melissa (7/5): Good for quick stay. - Location was great. Great cafe and food around the area. Easy access to trams and train line with a 10 to 20 minutes walk. When we first arrived, we were given a 2-bedroom room despite booking a 3-bedroom unit. After going back downstairs to query this, we were moved to a 3-bedroom unit, however the third bedroom was locked, meaning we had to return again before we could finally settle in. It definitely took away from being able to relax and unpack after arriving. The cleanliness and overall maintenance of the property could also use some attention. The linen was clean enough, but the rooms themselves are looking quite tired and worn. There also weren’t enough hooks available for hanging wet towels, which was inconvenient. The bathroom lacked ventilation, so it became very steamy after a hot shower. We could hear the trains due to the rooms not being very soundproof, although this personally wasn’t a major issue for us.

- Harjot Singh (8/5): Good for the location, abd if you will be spending more time outdoors than indoors. - The location is phenomenal, you’re 5 mins walk from all main attractions in Melb CBD. If you’re planning to travel with a bunch of boys, go for this, the location outweighs the negatives. Cleanliness is definitely overlooked, it’s not dirty, it’s just the property itself is aged, in terms of the walls, doors etc. The essentials like bedroom/bathroom are clean. Wouldn’t travel with the missus here.

- levi (8/5): It was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay - The location was great. It was great that the front desk was 24 hours. The pillows were really comfy and we had a lovely view from our balcony. There wasn’t a lot of soap/shampoo provided

- Kellie (8/5): Great location, apartment neat and tidy. Good valiue for money - Location fabulous, apartment size was great. Gym great also Single beds were tiny. Balcony - not really a balcony, bit small! We met 2 groups of people who were upgraded rooms on their stay, we were not? The reception was a bit dark and gloomy, and crowded with bags. There were bags everywhere from people checking in and out. Didn't really love our bags being left in the reception for everyone to walk past until we could check in.
