Visitors in room next to us and above us were loud until after midnight. Constant yelling, screaming and jumping around. Ants were present throughout room.

The only real complaint I have is that the pool wasn’t filled and ready for the weekend. I didn’t read anything about this being the case, and I booked it for the pool as well. 3 other hotel pools on our same street were filled with people swimming, but neither of the two facility pools were ready. My daughter was disappointed with that.

• Britt (10/5): - The entire facility was very clean and comfortable. I loved all the large potted tropical palms and plants around the pool and patio area, it gave such a Caribbean tropical vibe! The hotel was in walking distance to our event and all the great eatieries that we were looking forward to going to. Being able to check in online was great too, all we had to do was grab our keys from the front desk, took only seconds!

You never know who your neighbors will be. Ours were smokers and it STUNK to the point we couldn't even use our balcony. Also, the beds are VERY creaky, and i don't mean for "activities." I mean you cant even roll over with creating a mass disturbance.

• Kim (9/5): End of Summer Vacation - We stayed in one of the cottages. This was the cutest set up. Perfect for my daughter and I and my husband came down for the last 2 days. The staff was friendly and helpful. Both pools were very nice and clean. Perfect location, we walked to the beach and the boardwalk. The music by the pools was very loud and it was hard to have a conversation.

The bed skirts were stained. Need some decorations on the walls or something to make it feel a little cozy. • Altamirano (10/5): - I've been coming to Wildwood since the 80s and as fun of a place it was, the motels have always been outdated and a bit icky. I'm so glad most of them have been updating their rentals and Daytona Inn and Suites is no different. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and updated our room (212) was. Check in/out process was smooth, staff was friendly. My son and I had a great stay and I will certainly consider Daytona as our yearly place to stay when visiting Wildwood.

• Dolly (8/5): - Our family stayed at the Daytona Inn and Suites for one week at the end of August. It was perfectly two blocks from the boardwalk and entry to the beach. Parking onsite was ample. The buildings and pools are kept clean and staff was wonderful. We enjoy our privacy and did not request room service, but we were given fresh sets of towels and toilet paper every morning without asking for them. The 1 bedroom suite was perfect for our group and enjoyed having a full-sized refrigerator, 2 burner electric stove, and enough pots and pans, plates, cups, mugs, utensils to cook and enjoy a couple meals during our stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable as was the sofa bed. The pools were a perfect size and the kids enjoyed having the option to use the smaller pool or the larger pool. It was very convenient to have an outdoor shower available to quickly rinse off the chlorine before heading back to the room. We did not have the chance to use the on-site grills or the outdoor sitting area, which looked very inviting. One complaint is that the room we stayed in had poor drainage in the tub and sink, so they would fill up with water while in use. The other is that all our clothes that we had left out of our luggage (e.g., put in the drawers, left hanging) and any boxed foods (e.g., cereal, fudge) left on the tables took on a wet/moldy scent basement/ flavor. We had to toss out our fudge and cereal because of that. Maybe there is an issue with ventilation in that suite.
• Alvarado (10/5): Double Queen Room - Be advised. This review is based off us staying during the weekday right before Labor Day weekend. (8/26 to 8/29). So we did not experience any kind of weekend crowds we pretty much had the place to ourselves. With that being said: We loved our short stay at the Daytona. It’s Perfect for families and couples. It was quiet , clean and the staff “pit crew” were very friendly. Every morning when we woke up they were checking the pools, cleaning the grounds etc. They were great. We did the pre check in option which was so easy. We felt comfortable and safe in our room. Two beds no frills room. Mini fridge , AC, coffee maker and small microwave. Perfect for the three of us they do have bigger rooms available. Cleaning lady came everyday with new towels and made beds everyday. She was so sweet. The motel is literally a block away from the boardwalk and all the adventure that wildwood has to offer which is Tina of stuff. Multiple restaurants in walking distance. Highly Recommend Copper Dog great food. Make reservations!!! There is saloon that sells beer and alcohol right across the street which was great for my night caps and a family dollar also a block away for any last minute things needed. They have two pools which is pretty cool. Not heated but still nice to have the options. Both pools are 3, 4 and 5 feet in depth. With one of them having a very small cut out 1ft in depth for the babies.

The property also had plenty of parking to accommodate everyone staying! The staff at the front desk did not seem too happy to be there. The woman at the desk during our check in was wonderful and very helpful. Unfortunately, we did not interact with her the rest of our stay but the others that we did speak to were very short answered and seemed as though we were bothering them by asking questions.

• Rebekah (7/5): Not so great this time around…… - Pleasant staff, convenient location, 2 pools 4th time staying at this hotel. This stay we were in one of the apartments that we had last year. We had complimented management on our stay the last visit and highly recommended the bed in our room be repaired because you literally sunk to the middle of the bed, as if there was no support in the middle of bed. Well of course forgetting how bad the bed was, and having the same apartment this year, our sleep was limited because of the bed and it wasn't great needing pain meds because of poor sleep. In our second 1 bedroom, 2 bed apartment my son found a bug in the bed. The staff was wonderful in getting them into a room promptly, but the whole experience wasn't great having to move rooms and wondering if they were going to have symptoms. I personally didn't see ‘the bug’ but with internet research knew why they changed their rooms so quickly. Also when they were moved the second room was clean except a full fridge of food. 😔 I hate to even write this review because the facility is wonderful, with such convenience to the boardwalk, wonderful, kind, accommodating staff, 2 pools, outside grill area and patio…….just wonderful. Sadly this was our experience this time around. Hopefully these mishaps can be fixed by double checking rooms before guest arrive (the full fridge ) and checking on reviews from guests and looking into complaints that were mentioned (the bed). As far as the bug goes, we understand things happen and we were promptly moved into another room and everyone had no symptoms. Thankful for that!

• Jack (9/5): - It was nice, spacious, clean double queen room a block from the boardwalk. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Was a bit noisy in the morning when the group next door started their stay with their young children. Pretty much heard everything through the wall (ie.. children running in the room next door and yelling)

• Matt (8/5): Affordable , pleasant stay at a family friendly motel ! - Great central location, beach and boards a block away, pool was nice, unlimited hot water with good pressure. Beds were ok, kinda noisy when you moved and a bit too soft if anything. They allowed us to check in at 1230-1, which is always a great thing. Would certainly return. The WiFi was pretty hit or miss , The tv was on a dresser that was on the side of the room, not in front of beds ( but we made it work) .. nothing much bad here
• Tana (10/5): - We stayed in room 406 a 1 bedroom suitefor a week. It was great. The room was very clean and well taken care of. The staff were all so nice and helpful. We thought the beds were comfortable.
• Donna (8/5): Family getaway - Nice little place for families who want to stay close to the boardwalk and are on a budget. We were less than a block away. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious enough for our family of 5. It's also far enough off the main strip that you don't have to worry about for traffic and noise later in the night. We were happy with our stay and will consider booking there again.

• Shannon (8/5): Good location great employees and overall clean - Staff was very nice and kept us restocked on towels coffee toilet ect everything was clean and we were able to check in early which was nice. Beds weren’t the most comfortable and it comes with a kitchenette but no big bowls pans or measuring cups so wasn’t able to cook
• Fatjon Bushati (7/5): Didn't meet my expectations - The staff was nice and the location was very close to the beach. The room we stayed in had a strong smell of detergent. The fridge made a terrible noise and the first night it was impossible to sleep (the next day we asked them to fix it and they fixed it immediately). Also the AC made a disturbing noise.
• Brett Keys (6/5): Not bad not good - The staff was kind, and helpful, the location is only 2 blocks away from the boardwalk and in a pretty good location. Pool wasn't crowded and the room had a decent kitchen. You only get about 23 cable channels on the TV. The tvs are small and 480p. Rooms are small. Prepare to carry bags up stairs. Seems expensive considering you could spend $100 more a night and get better features. Have to wear a wrist band the entire time. Needs upgrades and renovations.

• Tracey (5/5): Old place parking a joke wristband a joke no visitors yeah right - In wildwood Pool hours 10-8 old u had to figure out how to lock doors They saw we brought our own shampoo conditioner and body wash did not refil containers in shower They say I have to have wristbands and no visitors bs There were people there in pool who were not staying there relatives of someone standing there they were staying on a different property It said 1 black beach no it’s 2 blocks beach Parking in herrendous and do right some space u can’t even open the door Going to bolero next year
• Janice (8/5): It was fine. - Location; we were in the apt. #2. The door key was horrendous! Terrible time trying to open the front and back doors! Had to ask for a hairdryer instead of having one in the room!

• Andrew (8/5): The Hotel over all was good, clean and convenient to the beach.We would recommend it and return again ! - The Property Maintenance gentleman was very attentive at various times to assist with everything from repairs of boards that had nails coming out of them to split stairs. He happened to be working late Thursday night and notice we couldn’t find a parking spot near one of our rooms so he gave us direction and walked out of his way to meet us around the block to another parking area. Very Kind and helpful ! The Pool and common areas were kept clean and refreshing! Thank you ! Sorry I never asked his name but mentioned he had worked there for 21 years. Hope to see him around again another time The wooden Stairs going up to room 07 need to be replaced. They are spitting and unsafe. From a maintenance point of view, replace toilet seats when they are worn and coming apart.

• Alexis927 (9/5): Excellent facility with friendly staff and amazing location. - The facilities are well taken care of and CLEAN. For being so close to the beach they manage to keep the sand out of their rooms. They make sure you have plenty of towels including paper towels and dish soap! They try to think of all your basic needs. The pools are also clean. They even have outdoor areas to sit, eat and socialize. The location is perfect for families with little kids. You are so close to the heart of wildwood. I wish the apartments had a larger frying pan, but that is more of a personal preference, they have plenty of pots and pans to work with.
