Nos gusto mucho la ubicación, ninca habiamos estado en Oaxaca y la verdad esta en un punto muy bueno El Wifi en la habitación no se podía usar por la baja intencidad con que llegaba, el desayuno lo sirven despues de las ocho y los tours empiezan a las ocho por lo que te tienes que ir sin desayurar y el día que si desayunamos muy raquitica la porción de fruta que te sirven y no hay opciones por si no pueds consumir un alimento que ellos tienenprogramado, el sabor bueno pero muy pocas alternativas. El estacionamiento esta a tres cuadras del hotel loque complice un poco la salida y la llegad

• Kim (10/5): Perfect location with fantastic breakfasts. - A charming hotel in an historic building. The room was very comfortable. The air conditioning and hot water were great. The included breakfasts were lovely as were the staff serving them. Tea and coffee making facilities were located on the ground floor for use anytime and fresh fruit was also available. The hotel grounds were spotless and constantly being cleaned. It is opposite the markets and only one block to the Zocalo. Tours can be organised from the hotel. Nothing.

Location was superb. There were two panes of glass, reducing the noise from the street. The room was large and the foam mattresses were firm, in a good way. The AC worked well. Receptionist during the day was so helpful. Even if we ordered jugo in spanish, "jamaica" we got naranja. "chilaquiles con jamon" came out as huevos. Even while concurrently pointing to each item on the menu led to different dishes coming out.

Me dejaron hacer check-in anticipado porque ya estaba listo el cuarto, lo cual se agradece. La cama está deliciosa y siempre doy un buen review cuando en los hoteles hay jabón, shampú, acondicionador y cremita corporal, porque no todos lo ofrecen y el producto me gustó. Únicamente considero que servir el desayuno a las 8:00am es un poco tarde si se toma en cuenta que hay muchas personas que toman tours (que incluso te invitan a adquirir en el lobby), y ya no te da tiempo de aprovechar el desayuno incluido por el que pagaste. Sería bueno tener la posibilidad de solicitar unos box lunch para esos casos porque el desayuno está rico.

We stayed on the second floor with a garden view which ment that we didn’t hear any of the street noise. The hotel is absolutely spotless and the breakfasts that were included in the price were generous, delicious and changed daily. We would definitely stay here again.

The tour agent who works there is a great source for planning trips. She was friendly and did everything to make extra trip arrangements go smoothly. Also the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had that is included with your stay. The location is excellent. It is just down the street from the old town square, the Zocalo.

• Aguilar (10/5): We will go back- loved our stay at Hotel Trebol, great place, amazing people! - excellent location- safe, close to the city center, right across Benito Juarez Mercado and Mercado 20 de Noviembre, walking distance to shops and many restaurants exceptionally clean- no stains or smell in bathroom, no clogs in the drainage, clean sheets, great water flow and temp in the shower. The common/shared spaces such as the breakfast area, lobby and hallways are well maintained and staff are always mopping the floors, wiping windows, etc excellent breakfast- made to order local breakfast served daily with fresh fruits, pan dulce/crepes, juice, coffee/tea in a beautiful and inviting courtyard, provided with cozy and comfortable seating. wonderful staff- Monse, the front desk associate was very accommodating with all our questions, she was always happy to help us whenever we needed something translated. Luis was also very nice and everyone we met including the kitchen crew- Maria, Rebecca and Luz. They were all amazing people.
• Dave (8/5): The hoel was good, the courtyard was lovely and the breakfast was very good and well served. - The hotel is near the center of historic Oaxaca so it was very easy to walk to most places. Taxis were readily available and relatively cheap if you needed one Not the hotels issue but, the room was noisy from street noise. We were there over Christmas so there was a lot going on in the center. If you are booking at Christmas or Easter, I would recommend asking for a room not on the main street side

Our room smelled fresh , not like cleaning products but actually a clean and fresh smell. There aren’t any elevators so my 70 year old mother didn’t appreciate that, but I understand none of the hotels in the area have one.

The room was very quiet except for some minor noise as the staff was preparing the kitchen for breakfast. The location cannot be better...close to the zocalo but away from the noise. The curtains could be improved to darken the room. The water temperature in the shower required careful control but we learned how to make this work.

One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast—please do not miss it. Plus, the location is perfect and made getting around the city so easy. We felt very safe getting in and out no matter what time of the day. The noise levels were a significant drawback. The hotel’s central location means you can hear loud music from downtown well past midnight. Additionally, the soundproofing between rooms is quite poor; the wooden doors don't block out hallway conversations or prevent cold drafts from entering the room. It was difficult to get a quiet, restful night's sleep.

• Melanie (9/5): Great week and comfortable stay - Location is excellent. One block from town square and across the street from the main markets. Great for dropping off shopping and meeting tours. Breakfast was lovely and as good as any restaurant. Each day came with fresh fruit and a rotating menu so you're never bored of the offering. Hotel colonial style is charming and comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful. Noisy - tile halls and floors with direct access to interior public areas make it noisy. This is likely a common problem for hotels in the city as it is a standard layout.

• Raphael (5/5): Une fois ça suffit. - La situation de l’hôtel près du Zacalo et du marché en face est exceptionnelle. Le wifi est très bon. La chambre est petite, le lit double est petit. Il n’y a pas de place dans salle de bains pour poser ses affaires de toilette. Le lavabo est minuscule. Nous avons demandé d’avoir un petit-déjeuner ou un café vers 7h30, car notre excursion débutait à 8 heures à 700 mètres de l’hôtel. Cela nous a été refusé. La grande maison coloniale qui abrite cet hôtel est très belle, mais il n’y a aucune vie.
• Kathy (7/5): Great location! - The location was perfect—a block from the Zocalo. Breakfast was terrific—served individually with choices from a menu. The room was cleaned daily and was immaculate. AC worked well. Being a block from the Zocalo, it was noisy. Some nights I turned the AC on to drown out the noise.

• gerder66 (9/5): - Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage. Ich habe das Personal als sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit empfunden. Sehr gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück, Wasser und Kaffee stehen den ganzen Tag kostenlos zur Verfügung. Man kann aber auch mal ein Bier von draußen mit hereinbringen und in Ruhe im Innenhof genießen. Mich hat es nicht gestört, aber wie schon erwähnt wurde ist es insgesamt hellhörig und man kann die Zimmer nicht richtig abdunkeln. Ab ca. 7.00 Uhr wird es zum Schlafen zu laut.

La habitación muy amplia, pero al estar cerca del área del comedor había mucho ruido por la mañana, también tarda mucho en salir el agua caliente y era difícil regular la temperatura.

Lo se que no es culpa del hotel en totalidad, es que hay gente muy ruidosa y las habitaciones dan al pasillo entonces puede que algunas noches se escuche el escándalo... podrían hacer las habitaciones con sonido aislado.

• Alexandra (9/5): Perfect spot in Centro! - The location was absolutely perfect. We loved the look of the place and they had put in a lot of effort to decorate for Dia De Muertos. Great spot to stay particularly at that time of the year if you want to be close to the parade location. The breakfast was fantastic value and changes everyday with new options. Sometimes the hot water ran out easily or we weren’t able to get any, but this didn’t impact our stay too much!
• Aimee (8/5): Everything perfect apart from morning noise from courtyard - This hotel is almost perfect, with one major drawback. The location is really perfect, the building and courtyard are absolutely beautiful, the rooms are spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was excellent each day and of a high standard. However, our room was near the courtyard where breakfast is served, and the morning noise echoed so badly that it became totally unbearable even with earplugs in. Conversations, serving, and cleaning made it impossible to sleep past 7:30–8 a.m. each day or even just relax in the room which significantly affected our rest. Unless guaranteed a quieter room away from the courtyard, we sadly wouldn’t stay again despite how wonderful the hotel is. Otherwise I would 100% recommend aside from that, or if you're a heavy sleeper! As mentioned above, the noise. our room was near the courtyard where breakfast is served, and the morning noise echoed so badly that it became totally unbearable even with earplugs in.
