• Magdalena (6/5): - Good location, clean but a bit run down, nice and attentive hosts. I think the beds are 1.8m and not 2m long... So if you're tall like me that could be a bit uncomfortable.

• Beemsingh (8/5): good location, a bit costly due to the time I travelled, good place to stay - the storage location under the bed was large enough to accomodate my luggage. in other places I had to put them outside the room in the open. there were sufficient bathrooms and open areas in other floors of the facility that I could work and chat with people and family at later hours of night. and there were enough washer dryers, but no detergent dispenser. the bathrooms were in different floors so you have drag yourselves up and down for shower and toilets and there was no lift/elevator between those floors. the room I was in was right above a music/dance bar so the noise made it into the room, not too much, you can hear it. I suspect this was just for my room.

• salome (5/5): Good staff, the location is fantastic and it’s clean but noisy for me. - The location is good close to city and landmarks The noise was extremely unbearable. I had booked 7 nights but spent 4 and had to literally leave.

The people staying were also not respectful of other people's peace and space. They were talking loud even late at night. There's even a man who was walking around half naked.

Midday check out is awesome Social areas lacking, toilets a bit strange with bidets being used improperly. Overall very good, these things are minor. Bathroom and beds are clean

• Stefanie (6/5): Nice for a short stay - The location was quite perfect for me. There was easy and quick access to the metro station as well as to Maxwell food court and to Boat Quay, all within a walkable distance. The rooms are quite spacious, and the bed is also comfortable, as there is a lot of privacy too. Apparently, the hostel is situated above an Indian nightclub. Fans of Indian music could appreciate it, but I was several floors above this club and could still chant with and dance to the music. The hostel is aware of it and has filed reports with the police, and they are willing to take action, but all of this takes time. So for the faint-hearted sleepers,

Common room a little run down but offers free coffees etc. Overpriced for what it is. Air con goes off between 10-2 so gets really hot in that period. Some of the other guests not very respectful but not hotels fault

• Elinn (9/5): Really good - My stay at this place went very well, the staff were attentive and very kind, the girls' dormitory was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well located, right next to Chinatown. Nothing.

• Ayub (2/5): If you literally just want an enclosed space to sleep at night - good. Otherwise bad. - There's 4 floors with stairs to climb for the some of the rooms. No elevators. The hallways with the pods smelt bad. Cleanliness overall of the showers/rooms was bad. No extra facilities like a water fountain or refrigerator on each floor. The club next door had a band playing through the night. Luggage storage isn't very organized or enough: it's just shelves where everyone put their stuff together. Very hard to use. Look at the flag next to my name. Yes. This was bad by my standards.

• Helena (3/5): Not worth it. - It's near most touristic attractions. The staff was really nice. The rooms are from the second floor and above and on the first floor there is a music pub. The music is so loud that, even though they give you ear plugs, it's impossible to sleep. The music is playing from the evening to sunrise.... There are only two showers (female bathrooms) so be patient...
• Kelly (7/5): Great location - The staff were amazing and very helpful. Generally a really great location, can access alot of things by walking and multiple public transport options near by Its a little run down in the bathrooms. There is a club underneath the hostel, there are signs on arrival stating that they are actively reporting to police about noise violations but I would have liked to know prior to arrival. Every night music is playing till 2am and I was the furtherest floor away and could still hear it over my headphones
• Puspa (7/5): Overall, it was a good stay that fit well within our budget. It was near most of the attractions and within walking dist - The location of the hostel was conveniently situated near all the major attractions and points of interest. It made exploring the city easy. It was next to the bar so music can be heard late at night until 2am. However, we were on the third floor so it wasn’t too bad and we slept quickly as were tired after a long day. It has no lift so luggage will have to be carried all the way up and down.

AC is working well. room is quite and peaceful. shoe rack is very stinky. smells so bad. no lift on the bldg, so you need to walk upstairs and we are in the 4th floor. Ugh :( . lots of people roaming around the public areas such as in the ally.
• Basil (4/5): wont be returning to singapore until im in the ruling class. - Nice location. thats about it. 30 bucks for basically a coffin in a room with 17 others. not unusual for Singapore i guess, but i guess thats also the problem. bathroom was pretty dirty, staff were about as friendly as most other people I met there. it kind of reminded me a bit of a prison, but one you had to pay for.

• Lina (9/5): Superb - Bluewaters Pods 38 was absolutely a great location to stay. The staff made my stay so much more fun, thank you for all your time and all those conversations! The showers were nice and clean. The pod itself gives plenty of privacy. It's in a great location. And I can recommend the whisky café next door! My bed wasn't super comfy, with a mattress that clearly had seen many visitors before me.

• Ngan (9/5): Good stay. Will comeback. - Although the shared female restroom was not on the same floor with my dorm room, it was clean and well ventilated. The shared bathrooms are clean as well, with great water pressure and heat. I also like the shared dining area because there is refillable water, free coffee, tea, milo and snacks everyday. There is no elevator so you will have to carry your suitcase from 2 to 4 floors up. The aroma they use inside the dorm room is too strong, sometimes I had a hard time breathing. They turn off the light in the dorm room around 10pm so if you need to get stuffs from your luggage (outside of your pod), be prepared to scramble in the dark. The place is 700m away from the nearest MRT station so it might be very hot to walk to the station during summer time.

It is extremely COLD in rooms and no possibility to change the temperature. It aas about 17 degrees. In floor like 38 and In bathroom 45. Unbereable. Bathrooms dorty without any shelves. No luggage room. No social room for guests. Very high stairs.

• Farrah (5/5): It's okay not that bad but not my first choice as I find other pods better and cheaper. - Location was very good, nearby Clarke Quay, accessible and convenient, shower is really good, toilets are clean, there is a hair dryer and big mirror in the shower / toilet area. Passage to pods are really small, not sound proof, smaller than some pod hotels I have stayed at, other guests might be noisy and you can easily be woken up by the slightest alarm.

• Ching (10/5): Exceptional - The location is very convenient, close to MRT station. Close to the river walk, walking distance to Clarke Quay, Boat Quay or even Merlion. The hostel is clean and comfortable and the staff Fikri is always very nice and helpful.
• Tien (9/5): Lovely hostel in the city centre - Great location, only few minutes walk to MRT station, and walkable to Chinatown too. Lots of place to eat and shops in the area. I like the fact that it’s close to clubs and pubs but you can’t hear the noise at the hostel! The shoeless concept in the hostel keeps the place really clean. Nice comfy bed too, I like the place so much I extended my stay twice :) It’s more about the fellow travellers who are clueless about personal hygiene. The sink area always full of hair n beards cos one wouldn’t clean it after use, not the hostel fault though.
