- Kory (4/5): - Parking was incredibly difficult and getting out of there was almost impossible. Very very tight fit . Both mornings there wasn’t any hot water in the shower. Not happy about that at all for $400 a night. Room was not cleaned during our stay.. Also, had analog tv and only hand full of channels. Picture was horrible . Again for $400 a night, it should have been an amazing place with ample parking, hot water and decent tv.

- Justin (6/5): - The overall feeling of the place is a nostalgic cabin feeling . I didn’t like how they told us that they don’t clean the rooms at all. For 5 days our room wasn’t cleaned . And if we needed fresh towels we had to remember to leave them outside the night before. Not what I’m use to staying at a hotel. Room service was always available.
- Leslie (8/5): - Nice queen room. New carpeting. Comfortable bed but needs new pillows. I didn’t like the fact that there was no coffee pot in the room. If there was an elevator I wouldn’t mind so much but walking up the stairs with 2 cups of coffee can be tricky. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but since my husband snores it drowned him out! We can live without maid service but it would have been nice to have. Also the ice maker was broken but they did have some in the office. Nice pool. Overall, nice stay.

- Michael (6/5): - Rooms had a cozy cabin feel. That was beat thing about this place. Beach was extremely tiny and absolutely filthy. I would let my dog swim in it.... Pool was nice but small....and they have the most ridiculous rule about the pool I ever heard. Your children cannot enter the pool without TWO ADULTS SUPERVISING. There is also ZERO daily housekeeping! You leave your dirty towels outside and they leave clean ones outside....they do not make your beds or empty pails. Never again.

Front desk provided local earring spots which did not disappoint. It was especially hot when we were there but we still had a good experience. We did take the steam boat tour which was nice and informative.

- Mohammad atiqul (10/5): - I recently stayed at this budget-friendly hotel and had a great experience. The reception staff were welcoming and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. The highlight of my stay was definitely the amazing view from my room—it truly enhanced the overall atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, a gift shop, and a lovely park, making it easy to explore the area. The only downside was the lack of breakfast during the week, although they do offer it on weekends. However, with so many dining options nearby, it wasn't a major issue for me. Overall, if you're looking for a pleasant stay with stunning views and great accessibility, this hotel is a solid choice. I would definitely recommend it!

- Dennis (10/5): - Next time I would request the L rooms, I assume the L is for Lake. We were up by the street, which was fine. The lake side rooms had a better view and next to the pool. TV in our room was small and quite far away, but you don't go to Lake George to watch TV. A free breakfast would be nice, but by no means a deal breaker. Would gladly book the Lake Crest Inn again.
- marika (10/5): - This was our first time lakeside after many trips to Lake George, and although the lakeside space/beach was postage-stamp size, there are nice chairs to sit in to look over the lake. We would definitely choose this hotel again. It is for sure overpriced, but all of Lake George is.

Only had 6 chairs which were claimed the entire day with guest towels and boats all in the area docked which made the water acess crowded. Other than that, this place is perfect. Very attentative to detail keeping it clean.

- Justin (8/5): - Safe and quiet property right in walking distance of Lake George town center. Facilities were clean and well kept. Privacy and nice decks. Able to see fireworks celebrations from the shoreline. Pool and beach area, kayaks available for rent. My only recommendation is that the facility has a late check-in (4pm) and early check out (10am) which made us a bit rushed on our day of departure. Breakfast is also available here with takeout as an option.

Bathroom- sitting on toilet seat requires tact to avoid hitting head on sink. standing shower just enough to stand in. super dirty carpets. Private beach was awefull, 10steps wide and super dirty. Kayaks were additional $20 per hour, while booking they adv kayaks and not mention additional charges. Window air conditioner... its a scattered thunderstorm system :) too loud. chose between sleep or cold air with a bang Regret selecting this at $380 a night (no lake view room) and pass over Hampton Inn at $350/night. Don't recommend and will not be going there again.

Big time Outdated not like the pictures and with a 2x4 bathroom where there’s no hot water for a shower It’s Like on a cruise ship and if you’re on the heavy side forget about ! getting into the bathroom . We stayed in a queen room room “26 “ It’s our First and last time here !! So my issue was a Cold shower no hot water . I complained on the 2nd day and I got a “oh gee why didn’t you tell us on the first day “. And she Basically had an I don’t care attitude and just wrote it down in the complaint book . I told her that I didn’t say anything because you would think that they would know if they’re cleaning, that the shower doesn’t work right???? Anyways the first morning I had to let it run 10 minutes before it got warm not hot and I took a really quick shower . The next day no hot water at 4 shower after the pool . I hope this review helps someone to not stay there !
- william (4/5): Worst hotel stay ever. - First. When I booked my room I booked a room with two double beds because this weekend trip was my 25 year old daughter and I. Either Hotels.com or the hotel messed it up and there was one double bed. The hotel wasn’t interested in doing anything to make it right so I was forced to sleep on a crappy roll away cot. Which the hotel charged me $50 for. And to top it all off there was no cleaning service for the rooms at all. I seriously doubt I will ever use Hotels.com again and will never stay at the Lake Crest Inn in Lake George NY ever again

I requested to speak to a manager and about my concerns and nobody was able to talk to me . i left my phone number nobody called me. we decided to leave and go to the hotel next door. the fact that nobody followed up leads me to believe they could care less about their customers.

- Tori (8/5): Lake George is always beautiful. - The hotel has a good location to the village, shops, restaurants and activities within walking distance. On-the-lake location with pool. Pool is small, but clean. The only complaint was the bath towels were kind of old and worn.

Toilet was directly in front of counter which made for inconvenient use of the toilet. The room also smelled bad. I understand that these hotels in the area are old but I’ve stayed in similar motels along Canada street and while they are old the are clean. Specifically room 27 seems to be the room they rent out as a last resort as I did book only 2 weeks in advance . Staff was courteous but unfortunately were unable to accommodate a room change without an up charge after I spoke to them about the filthy conditions in the shower and the road noise overnight from traffic due to the close proximity to the roadway.

The ice machine was a little far but the walk was pleasant. The beach was very small but just to lay out it was good. Pool had perfect sunlight.

Pillows flat, and should have been changed out and washed ( especially with Covid) they had covers but they were cloth, not a material type that could be wiped. Also, again considering what’s going on today, though I didn’t like it prior, top blankets not changed. We know this because we changed rooms.

Too expensive for whats available next door at any other hotel. Good place if you just need a room for the night and nothing else.

I didn’t utilize the pool due to Covid bc there were two families enjoying it at the time. The pool area was clean and the looked refreshing after being in the summer heat. I definitely will stay here again.

- Tammy (4/5): Disappointed.... - Location is great, outward appearance great but the room is outdated. Cobwebs in one window. Mold in grout in shower. Notified front desk after seeing a fellow guest use her hand to scoop ice in her cup from the ice machine (during a pandemic no less!)...an hour went by staff did not shut down machine or sanitize it! To top off our stay we had a cockroach type bug on the ceiling and one actually on me in bed. We left the next morning after notifying front desk of the bug situation. Disappointed we had to shorten our trip due to that. Definitely will not stay here again.

- Sheri (8/5): Cigarette Smoke Was Overwhelming - The accommodations were fine. Please consider a designated smoking section far away from the rooms, pool and other community space. Allowing patrons to smoke outside of buildings is not acceptable to others who prefer a smokeless environment. The housekeeping staff was smoking and my neighbor was smoking outside on the deck first thing in the morning. Otherwise everything was good.
