The Bed was so comfortable we rested well, woke up feeling rejuvenated. I and my husband loved it. Nothing it was amazing !!! Construction was a bit much that was happening, but that was not your fault. Hopefully when we visit again that will be over. I will like to bring my entire family next time.

The breakfast voucher for the Speckled Hen across the street is great. Nice variety of options and delicious. The manager of the property is so helpful and personable. Stayed here numerous times before and already have our next reservation. Liked everything about this place. No complaints.

We appreciated having a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. We also very much appreciated the complimentary breakfast provided through a voucher at the Speckled Hen restaurant across the street. Delicious breakfast with a variety of options. Also cold complimentary bottles of water each day was a nice touch. The manager is also very nice and very accommodating. All in all this is a delightful place to stay and we have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again. No complaints or criticisms at all.

The next morning, we had an incredible breakfast at The Speckled Hen — it was out of this world. I would like to say there was nothing we did not like. Visiting here was like staying with family. - Jessica (10/5): The room was absolutely cozy and we enjoyed the walk to the Speckled Hen both mornings. - We loved how cute and cozy the room was and the walk to the Speckled Hen both mornings. The food and hospitality at the Speckled Hen was also enjoyable! We couldn’t find our room at first (177) but that wasn’t necessarily something negative, but it might be helpful to have some signing that it is down the stairs. Once I re-checked my email and saw it said “lower-level studio” we found it pretty quickly.

I couldn’t find my room because it was not marked clearly. Also, I wish I had been warned that there were steps involved. I’m suffering from arthritis in my feet, so it was difficult doing the steps and carrying my luggage.

- Marita (8/5): Room clean.bed comfortable close to attractions - Very convenient to area attractions The room was cold and after calling the staff brought a heater and turned air off ( the switch is way up high and i was not crawling up there to do so). Staff helpful with places to eat in area. VERY clean Not as cozy as i had pictured The was ice in parking lot, especially outside our door and to the car. When we went to breakfast next day we found the drive was icy and a bit concerning. I would have thought the ice would have been taken care of by am since everyone walks across the street for breakfast. The metal chairs in the room are not comfortable at all. I had picture the place being cozy, which it is not. BUT it is very clean

The area was quiet. The only thing that bothered me was the huge king size bed. For me it was rather soft, and I found it a little difficult to roll around on. Otherwise it was comfortable with several pillows that could be used to sit up for the TV.

I also appreciated the complimentary water for guests and the in-room coffee—such thoughtful touches! The beds were extremely comfortable with wonderfully fluffy pillows. - Yvonne L (10/5): - Loved the warm greeting! The extra wide parking space right outside the room was wonderful. The memory foam mattress was heavenly. I usually sleep in an electric recliner due to back issues. I was concerned about sleeping in a bed, but I slept like a baby on that mattress. The bathroom needs updated. The tub looked very worn. I couldn't bring myself to stand in it to shower. Needs USB outlets for charging. With some updating, I would not hesitate to return.
