Guest Reviews
- Alex (2/5): Worst hotel I've ever been to - I've travelled to 29 countries and never left a hotel without actually staying there. This was a first.
First, the room was disgusting. The toilet, the sink. Black mold everywhere. I'm enclosing pictures here.
Secondly, the Internet was so slow - it was impossible to do even basic work. I'm enclosing that as well.
Thirdly, there was no hot water in the shower and I had to shower with the cold water.
Fourthly, the floor in the sink area was literary coming off like absolutely loose wood.
Lastly, there was no hand soap or any other amenities that you expect at a minimum.
I feel like I was catfished by a hotel.
As soon as I found another hotel I left. The hotel has refused to give me a refund.
- Amir (6/5): - lack cleanliness.
- Sai (8/5): - While this hotel was still great value for money, there was a significant amount of things thay were not as advertised.
The booking should have included a welcpme drink and boasts about having both a swim up bar and restaurant bar, but neither of these bars exist now. It also advises a restaurant abd 24h room service but the restaurant is only open for breakfast.
The resort looks as though when it was built it would have been beautiful but I presume COVID hit this place hard..
- Shauni (2/5): - CATFISH HOTEL - There was no mini bar, no basic needs, phone in my room did not work so i couldnt order food. I went to the gym which looked nothing like the photos and when i came out they were pulling up the pool deck and i had to walk across a plank! So unsafe. I also heard loud noises and babies screaming all night. Hotel looked nothing like the pictures at all.
Such a horriblw experience.
- Muamer (4/5): - Too many cockroaches in our deluxe room.. spider webs everywhere, heaps of noise..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice staff, nice pool....breakfast is a bit boring after a few days. Rooms are abit dusty, but still ok. Theres a lot of mosquitos here so make sure bring repellent. Overall 3.5/5.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property is good, they gave free upgrade from Deluxe suite to executive suite but executive suite was smaller compared to Deluxe and we couldn’t use bath, no aircon, too hot and couldn’t keep toiletries open cockroaches and lizards were everywhere as this bath was outside in balcony.
Other deluxe suite no proper cooling.
Couldn’t sleep properly it was too noisy the whole night.. vehicle’s sound and there was temple next to hotel the whole night some song was going on.. we couldn’t relax and have a sound sleep.
Also, Had very bad experience at restaurant downstairs, I just went and asked for glass of water as I was getting bad hiccups but guy refused to give a glass of water. He is telling me it’s only for staff and customers get two bottles of water in their room.. I don’t know how they can expect us to go to 6th floor when a person is getting bad hiccups and all I wanted is two sip. I even asked him just give me half a glass he said it’s only for staff.. very very disappointing..
I will never go back to same hotel again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I think there are different things are not good. Service for breakfast is not efficient. The tables change customer and don't clean. And when the food finish the don't put more. Only if customer ask. The hotel needs clean more..... And service will be better.
- Simon (4/5): - Tolet have ants, brown color towel with bad perfume smell and breakfast tables unclean....etc
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room is lack of cleanliness
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property located in a busy area. We stayed in Junior Suite at the 4th floor and could hear traffic past midnight. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it didn't bother me. Breakfast was good. Pool and gym good. I asked for a second access card but they said hotel policy we were entitled to 2. Bathtub was dirty and has not been touched for months. We came back late one night and spotted a few rats scurrying around in our floor. Stay is ok for the price as I got the room 50% off.
- Sese (4/5): - The hotel is not near the beach, despite expedia stating it was. The hotel is on a main road which is impossible to cross and heavy traffic means you standing for hours. Breakfast is limited and often staff will say there are is no food left. The staff are not friendly when you refuse to purchase drinks there for expensive prices.
The pool area is nice however no staff present.
The taxi drivers attached to the hotel have ripped us off and will lie about prices.
The nearest beach is about 30 to 40 minutes by cab. I would say unless your happy to travel and have the budget for this do not stay here
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Serious cockroach issue!! Multiple cockroaches in my room, balcony, bathroom and toilet. I sat on the roof one evening because i couldn't bare to be in the room but found that they were also in the roof toilets and up the bathroom walls. I checked out on my second day.
The staff offered to move me to a new room but i no longer wanted to stay there. I was not offered a refund for the rest of the week that i had booked which was disappointing.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Frienfly staff. Only roof top bar so if raining no bar inside hotel. Management quick to relocate room when sircon wss not working. Would not allow me to take breakfast to room for injured husband whom had just got out of hospital and was there to recovet. Very noisy with road traffic but close to hospital which was the purpose of orr stay
- Haziq (6/5): - Check in/out process was quick and easy.
Room was clean but could use better/brighter lighting.
In-room amenities were good.
Breakfast was just satisfactory.
Towels were rarely available. Had to wait a few hours after the room was made up for fresh towels to be sent up. Towels were also hardly available at the pool.
Pool area was clean, gym was well-maintained.
Staff were generally nice and friendly but could be more proactive.
Overall a good stay; worth the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic rooftop infinity pool. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent location, a short 5 minute drive to the beach.
- Paige (2/5): - Says the hotel is close to the main town. It’s actually a 10 minute drive in 20 minutes in traffic. It’s imposible to walk as the hotel is situated on a highway bypass so walking is not ideal considering how busy Kuta is.
The buffet breakfast is horrible, ants crawling all over the food. Nothing western, now I understand that when travelling you try that countries food, but after getting sick sometimes that’s all you can eat.
We were given the wrong room and didn’t question it until after we had to re book another night due to our flight being cancelled.
All in all not very impressed with the hotel overall. The beds weren’t comfy and they refused to give us two seperate beds, the rooms were clean but on multiple occasions only gave us one towel.
- Alham (8/5): - They atleast should provide international plug socket, or trying to help instead of just saying they don’t know. Everything was okay and average.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Save your money. - Deceptive! The area and the hotel both stunk of suage. We booked a room for 4 people and when we got the they said they only had a room that fits 3 people. Although they put a blow up bed. Deffo not good enough. Breakfast was okay? A bit heavy for my liking. We were only allowed 1 card to get in and out of our hotel room so we couldn’t leave 1 in for the aircon to still work and ignored we did we’d need to ask the receptionist to let us in the room.
The bathrooms were nice though, I guess ?
- rana (8/5): - this hotel i would recommend if you want to stay in kuta.the price is reasonable. hotel staffs are very much helping.
regards
- Mr Ben Edmundson (4/5): Stay elsewhere - Very noisy outside of the hotel couldn’t sleep. Hard to cross the road due to so much traffic and no crossings. The room is not as it looks on the pictures they have put on the website. There were bugs crawling where breakfast was being served, meaning I only had fruit.
Room was not fully clean, dirty sink and shower as well as stained bedding.
Lots of mosquitoes in the room.
- Dan (10/5): Great hotel good price - Great hotel
Room is amazing for the price
Food is great but the mojitos and margaritas were rather bad
Facilities were also great but they just need to fix the treadmills in the gym as they were both broken
- RonAllan (8/5): - Our room was nice, its an executive room, the bed is good and clean. The breakfast was also good, nice choices of food. The staffs were friendly and speak english.
- Ziad (10/5): - Great hotel and amazing staff and service.. room could use more lighting but other than that well recommended.
- G (2/5): Good staff. Crap hotel - * friendly bar staff
* good massage
* very noisy
* couldn’t use bath due to leaking plug and no hot water
* shower would only run cold water, we stayed for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and only had hot water for one of those days. When we asked about it the reception staff said they know the water on our floor is an issue but there is nothing they could do. They offered to move us to a different floor but when they showed us we had to decline. Right underneath our window was locals burning rubbish 24 hours and blew right into the windows and my husband is asthmatic.
* fridge didn’t work
* air con good
* their coffee was terrible
* the pictures online are nothing like what the place is like. Terrible views and located on an extremely busy road.
* all in all I would not recommend this place to people staying longer than 1 or 2 nights
- Tanita (4/5): Not again! - The rooms are nice but the bathroom is half outside that means that after going to the toilet (inside) you need to open two doors to get outside to watch out hands! Outside means it's loud even it's just a small street on the back of the hotel it's super loud and and smelly! Beeping and rubbish burning will ruin your night! We stayed on the 5th floor still ways to loud to sleep! We had to dry towels but we took them inside because of the smell is was disgusting!!!! We also tried the spa! It's a tiny little room next to the pool and the aircon is not working that means to sweat the whole time while getting a massage! They also dont speek englisch so try not to ask anything just point on what you want and hope for the best... wouldn't recommend it! The massage itself was nice! But even through the room itself was nice all this just ruined our stay! Never again!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice night in this hotel, spacious room, staff very nice. Only the situation is not very well, good for one night!
- Amardeep (8/5): Nice Hotel - Its a good hotel. But not a nice view from the balcony as shown at the website.
- Sodkhuu (10/5): That was pretty nice - We had a 7 nights in this hotel. Very kind service.Breakfast was nice but all the foods are Indonesian. Room was clean and comfortable thank you so much !
- Firda (10/5): Awesome rooms - The stay was amazing just that sometimes the aircon is on and off. Other than that, the stay was awesome.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Review - Not bad for $50 a night, get what you paid for. Rooms were clean.
Roof top pool was awesome and great set up with bar gym etc
Staff and breakfast average.
A bit far out from everything.
Over all would recommend for the price
- ben (8/5): - Hotel great staff lovely breakfast they had a verity of all foods was nice
Bout 20 minute walk to kuta beach
But the road out side the hotel OMG SO hard to cross (thts the only downside)
All in all I had present two week staff 😊
- meggs (6/5): Not what it appears on web sites - Rooms are VERY small. Suites are smaller than any normal hotel room. Location of hotel terrible. Due to very busy main roads (UNSAFE to cross) walking anywhere almost impossible. Horrible scenery vacant lots smelly river and road noise.
Staff and manage very lovely happy to move rooms and please.
Would not recommend
- DeVanya (8/5): Happy to return, awesome location. - Great service, good buffet breakfast, awesome location and if you keep the bathroom door closed, which has openable shutters for fresh air, a/c works great. Rooftop pool a must. My Dad had the best sleeps. Would recommend to any other Guest.
- Jordan (8/5): Nice hotel, should be cleaner though. Yeah - We had a few problems with our room but the hotel is lovely as long as you don't have a outside balcony room. The bathroom is open plan and is technically outside so you will experience a LOT of mosquitos in your room. The rooms could also have been a bit cleaner.
The rooftop pool is a particular highlight and the staff are nice and friendly. The hotel is a little bit too far out which is a minor inconvenience for those wanting to be close to Kuta beach.
- Khalid (4/5): Budget hotel - Budget Hotel .. Beds were not clean as some stains on the bed sheet. We even found ants when we checked in. Okay in General.
+tive : Room was very big. Separate, big bathroom with nice bathtub. Breakfast was more than okay with verities. Huge swimming pool.
-tive : Room needs to be cleaned more. Rooms with street views are really disaster as the sound of the cars and bikes are very noisy sometimes till 9 o’clock at night (Be careful). Hotel is cery close to v.big mall, but unfortuntlly you need to cross a very busy road or have to take a long walk to cross. (Be careful). The view of the river behind the hotel is not nice as it is dirty. Not enough parking for cars if you need to.
In General : Not highly recommend as it is a budget hotel. But for a quick city tour is okay.
- Debanjan (10/5): Enjoyable stay with a luxurious feel - Overall very well presented room with luxurious feel away from the crazy hub of Kuta but easily accessible. However, after requesting a quiet room was put right next to the busy road which woke me up early at night. Staff did not know free shuttle was part of deal (advertised on website) but agreed to drop off one way. Otherwise has fresh smell and nice koi pond with waterfeature. Big good quality rooms.
- Mel (4/5): Not really 4stars, photos don't reflect real life - Mosquitos in room, lucky we brought repelllant
Hot water didn't work, called front desk to fix which change it to semi warm....
Bedsheets make you itchy
Fridge didn't work, replaced with another fridge which didn't work.
Breakfast was ok, but because it's outdoors where the plants etc are, ants are near the sweets.
Funny smell in the room, towels smell of a funny weird incense.
Some days had to call front desk for new towels and toothbrushes
Wifi not great in the rooms.
Location in a busy street and quite hard to cross by ur self, but quite easy for hotel to call a taxi for you.
Staff were lovely however
Air con was nice and cool
Aircon was good however.
Definitely not 4star, wouldn't stay again. Very budget
- Verified traveler (4/5): room was on main road very noisy - my bed unfortunately had bed bugs however my daughters was fine so did not have a great sleep
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice place. - We had a wonderful stay. We got a family room on the 6th floor, only steps away from the pool. If anything, the hotel is not within walking distance of Kira center so we had to take a taxi to go everywhere. Other than that, breakfast was superb, staff friendly, and room nice and spacious.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice enough. Wouldn't pay the premium price. - Building a little tired. Pool was nice. Room not same as photo.
- Toni & John (4/5): Friendly staff but amenities really need updating. - The Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. However I found the overall condition of the Hotel in need of painting and maintenance work attending to. The rooms were cleaned every day however we needed to ask for towels & soap on a daily basis. There are no towels at the pool so you have to take your bath towels with you & then try to dry yourself with the wet towel after showering. Food was lovely but breakfast mainly catered to Indonesian & Asian visitors. The other issue was distance from main areas of Kuta & Legian as well as the beach. Taxi needed each way which was very minimal cost but when you factor in many trips on any given day it adds up. The fridge didn't work so we had to request another as my husband's medication required refrigeration & there is no mini bar in room or no vending machine in hotel. ATM would also be handy at reception.
- Tjoen Winata (8/5): Good hotel for the price friendly and helpful staf - Nice hotel close to the mall big bathroom fridge is working warm bath tub out in the balcony too many mosquitoes
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rats passing by next to the room which is situated underground. Too much noise we couldn't sleep. Very high prices comparing to other hotels
- Verified traveler (2/5): Great Staff, bad hotel - AC was not working, Bad smell from the surrounding, water from the shower smells.
- Chong (4/5): Not bad hotel service, but room disappointing - Love the staff, but the room's shower had a weird smell, and the room is quite dusty. And the balcony actually did nothing because it's is all covered by a oblique glass, can't see the view at all. The room is rather dark because only had a little lighting.
- Saipul Bahari (2/5): - The stay was not good. Food was very basic. Tv was down for 2 nights. Mosquitoes are in the room.
- charl/albert (6/5): - Location is not ideal, feel intimidated leaving the hotel. Staff allowed us to make calls on the advertisement of free use, only when we checked out did they decide to charge us which was highly disappointing. Glass in room is not clean and bedsheets also were not the cleanest and not change the entire time we were there given we have room keeping everyday!
- 28 aussie chic (4/5): No sleep! - We had a room facing onto sunset road and all we could hear day and night was mass amounts of traffic. There was no way to block out the sound, even with the TV on full volume. Which made for sleepless nights and exhausted days.
- K (2/5): Worst Hotel in Bali - The pictures are very deceiving, the view from the top is of a rubbish filled estuary, the bedrooms have no external windows, the windows each end open into the hall ways (bedroom and bathroom) so unless you want people looking into your room and bathroom you are unable to open the blinds. The room was dirty and it felt like you were in a box. The staff were unhelpful, continued talking amongst themselves instead of helping us carry are luggage and check in was terrible. We arrived after 3pm and were advised one of our rooms were not ready although we had said we would be there at 2pm. I could not stay here and had to leave, it is well below the average hotel for Bali.
- Aziana (6/5): A pleasant stay - It was a new opened hotel with clean room and nice scented when you enter the room. With mini fridge for drinks and safe to keep valuables. Travelling around the local area with ease without bringing our valuables along. Overall, a pleasant stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Near the mall and kuta - Quite a nice place and convenient. Close too Kuta beach and other malls.
- Vanessa (8/5): For the cost, it was excellent. - It's a 30 min walk (careful crossing the high way) or a 10 min drive to the main part of Kuta, where you will likely find yourself at least a few times during your stay. It's not a hassle to get a taxi and the walk is worth doing at least once, not because it's beautiful (it isn't) but you do get a bit of the weird air of Kuta specific culture through out the walk... It's a weird place take in as much as you can.
Breakfast was always good. Don't expect too much from the staff, most are friendly enough but they don't go over and beyond like you would see at a more fancy hotel.
Pool was gorgeous, poolbar was handy and a little tip, you can get room service to the pool area, me and my boyfriend decided after realising no one was at the pool usually during the evening to bring our own wine up and order dinner for a beautifully lit pool side private dinner, very cool and recommended.
All in all the room was basic but worked. You must turn on the shower and let it run for at least 5 min to ensure the water is clean...the water smells when it first comes out, it's just the way it is here, nothing they can do about it and you get used to it. You are visiting a third world country after all.
Highly recommended especially for the price. Would probably return if I was to visit again on a budget.
- hazel (6/5): Pleasant experience for our first time in Bali - Friendly and helpfull staff. Good hotel but lack in cleaniness with bathroom and toilet. Overall we had no problems
- Evelin (2/5): worst hotel experience I have ever had - Room looked like a brothel, mirrors everywhere, bed was hell uncomfortable, everything was old and DISGUSTING SMELL IN THE ROOM AND ON THE BED LININGS .
I booked in for 4 nights but I Couldn't stay there longer than one night.
room service and restaurant food is extremely bad.
I went to get a hot stone massage and THEY BURNED MY SKIN WITH HOT STONES.
Don't waste your money on this hotel.
- Ahmad (6/5): Not as expected - Good welcoming, nice stuff and good area. i took excuxitive suit. it was small, a lot of noise from the street and during my stay there was a hindu ceremonies. so that was so annoying up to mid night. in addition, the refrigrator is not working. i asked to be fixed or changed but nothing they said the refrigrator is just keeping things on room tempuration and that was a lie they dont wanna fix it or change it by another one. the most good thing is the bathroom and the roof pool, bar and gym floor.
- Sam (2/5): I won't back for sure - not clean . bad air conditioning .
- norhazlinah (10/5): 2nd time stayed in this hotel! - This is my 2nd time staying in Mega Boutique Hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. Room and bed was comfortable. Their roof top pool is nice too. Its convenience as they have lots or small supermarket around their area. If you're hungry, the area also have lots of warung stalls they. Hotel is also near to a whole stretch of factory outlet store. Only 10 to 15mind drive there!! Breakfast provided by hotel is good too. Only advise if you're booking this hotel, request for higher level. If not, stand by mosquito repellent and mosquito coil in your room.
- billybot (8/5): Really great place to stay - Had a great time in Bali and the motel was great. Staff and resources were all their so could stay at the motel or go out wit seeing. The local motel driver was good and showed us around at a great price
- Troy (8/5): Nice hotel and very friendly staff. - I would like to thank the staff as they were very friendly and helpful. The main two issues we had was the fridge in the room was not even cool let alone cold and our room was right next to a lot of traffic and as you know in Bali a lot of people beep there horn so after a week of it your nerves are tested.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Easy to move around and excellent friendly staff - Pleasant stay and the friendly staff will go the extra mile to cater to your needs. Breakfast buffet was decent and they have variety.
- M CINDY (6/5): - Quality is good. Breakfast a little bit poor.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Central to most things
- The hotel bathrooms were not good and the cleaning was appalling. The pictures on the internet are very misleading
- Solomon (6/5): Value for Money stay - The room was good size, comfortable bed, cable TV, kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. However, there were cockroaches in the room, some other bugs lurking, so cleanliness was not great. Bathroom design was interesting for being split into two parts, shower on one side and bath tub on the other, which I found rather inconvenient. Nice roof top pool, but the blast of loud thumping music rather spoiled the relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was good, nice local dishes to go with your fried eggs. However it closes at 10 am so need t get there earlier. Forget asking the concierge about recommendations for food... "where's good? Everywhere!".
- Jasper (4/5): Near airport - Room was next to the road and there was a lot of traffic noises. Room was not very clean and needed some maintenance (e.g. Sliding door between room and bath/ toilet was spoilt). Plus point is hotel is within 10-15 min from airport.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good staff
#203 full of smell & noise
mosquitos - Not bad place to stay
Food & staff good
But some rooms are very small with less lighting
- LadyLuck (10/5): Nice Hotel - Hotel is nice. A bit far from the beach but cab is cheap. Room is very big with a beautiful bathroom.
- CHRISTINE (4/5): Small rooms - Room is very small. Even tho I choose the best room. Hotel is out of the way from everything. Taxi to go averywhere. The water smells & is discoloured. The staff are not very friendly. 2 top it off u pay top $. I think u can do better than this motel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - They charge for local calls from hotel room and do not inform guest until check out! Ask first.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Hotel, money well spent. - I stayed in a deluxe room,
Cannot fault at all, very modern and clean. Great facilities, wifi in the room was hit and miss but worked great in communal areas. Great selection at breakfast.
The only thing that let it down was that they wouldn't let me leave until they had checked the room and I was in a rush.
- Louise (2/5): Terrible location, no where to walk, outskirts - Greeted in a friendly way, breakfast was appauling, staff over breakfast was miserable, butter frozen, helped yourself to coffee because no one else would serve you, food was shocking although room service food was OK/quite nice. Location was bizarre and totally not how expedia sold it on the website. Kuta it is not and you need a taxi to get anywhere. The location overlooked sewage with barking dogs and people screaming as well as lots of noise from traffic and rattling roof that could have kept us awake, hence why we moved after 1 hour to another room but still heard traffic and still no where to put your belongings, In fact the second room didn't even have bedside lights.
The room had NO cupboards to put your belongings, the bath/sink was outside so if you are allergic to mossies then you are in big trouble like I was. The safe didn't work and a very small, and I mean very small place to hang your clothes which we ended up living out of a suitcase for the two days we stayed there which we were supposed to stay for 8 nights, couldn't stand it any longer so checked out and went to the Padma in Kuta, because it really is in Kuta and it's a 5*. I would rate this hotel as 3* at the lower end of the 3* too.
- David (4/5): Never again - Limited storage in room. Mosquitoes a problem with outside hand basin and bath. Gave up trying to get a working bar fridge after 3 attempts and we were told it was actually just a cupboard. Strange it had controls inside????
Very little in the way of eating places or shopping within walking distance.
Situated on a very busy road can take more than 5 mins to wait for a break in the traffic to cross.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pretty good if you getting a good price - Pool is nice
Gym is average
Location can be good or bad , it's close to the mall and shops on main road , however the view is really bad and its noisy
- Dave (8/5): One of the best in budget hotels - We booked this hotel in advance during a season's offer for our honeymoon and got it on surprising cheap rate, which is why we were a bit unsure about the quality of room and services. But to our satisfaction, the service was unbiased. To sum up the pros and cons:
PROS- Location very close to airport, and has easy access to local transport. One of the Bali's biggest mall is bang opposite to the hotel. Breakfast is good and sufficient varieties. Washroom in actually bigger than the bedroom and pretty tidy. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful, which I guess is synonymous to Balinese hospitality traditions.
CONS- Shower water has a serious problem. The water is murky and has a foul smell, which I strongly believe is because of seeping of sewage water into domestic waterline. We did lodge a complain with the staff, and they promptly acted on it. But I think the issue is a bit too serious. I hope the hotel management do a bit more research into it.
If we leave that issue aside, the hotel is a fantastic value for money. All in all we had a perfect honeymoon, thanks to the classy hotel.
- Pui Fong (8/5): Nice swimming pool - Nice hotel, only problem is our rooms was at basement, so the air condition not so good till caused a bit smell in the room. Overall is very nice, especially the swimming pool. Will stay again if visit Bali in future.
- norhazlinah (10/5): ALMOST perfect - i had a wonderful experience staying in MEGA BOUTIQUE HOTEL. clean hotel. clean room. good service. friendly staffs. fast service. good food. down side place have mosquito. not hotel fault. it's mother nature. just advice, ask for higher level, prepare mosquito patch/coil/ repellent or spray in room. another advice, before you want to wash up/shower, run the tap first. coz usually they water will smells alil bit nasty once on.
- lisamarie (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice clean hotel great staff just needs refrigerator in rooms to be working. Apart from that would recommend to all.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - Excellent Hotel if slightly out of the main part of Kuta - easy to get there by taxi though
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel for exploring - The location of this hotel was great. The mall is across the road with lots of different restaurants, catering for all tastes: Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, and Western cuisines and lots of shopping. The security guy helps you across the road and back again or you can catch a taxi. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. The pool and the gym were well used by all of us 2 adults and 2 teenagers, distance of the pool was good for swimming lengths. Breakfast had Indonesian and Western cuisine and plenty of variety. There are 2 convenience stores close by, one on the same side as the hotel, 1 minute walk, the other is behind the hotel walking down by the canal turn left and across the road. I found two great massage places, basic amenities but great massages well worth exploring, close by and around the back of Mega, reasonable prices 70 000 IDR; Madame Putri, ph: 087 506 777 or 085 238 777 and Mandy, ph: 0812 3680 606. We walked to the beach most days to Kuta 20 minutes and an easy to walk across most roads, walking was a great way to see sights, meet locals and check out the markets, usually took a taxi back to Mega for 50 000IDR.
- marina (8/5): nice hotel but not that central - very nice hotel with friendly staff and big breakfast buffet. we really enjoyed our stay. the only downside was the location of the hotel. you really need a car it a motorbike if you don't want to pay for a taxi all the time. but all in all very nice clean and friendly!
- Robert (6/5): Clean and good value - Nice roof top pool, but service was laboured and no bar to sit at! Room clean and spacious but no sitting area, had to ask for towels 3 times in a week as room service forgot to leave any! A little to far from anywhere
- Yen Lee (8/5): nice design hotel with cheap price. recommended!! - room is nicely decorated with the modern design, big bathroom with separate toilet and shower and a big bath tub. considering the price of the hotel, it is definitely worth it.
breakfast is good with lot of choices. rooftop pool and bar is cool. opposite hotel is a shopping mall and mini mart is also just next to the hotel. however, room is a bit dark and basin and bathtub have a bit stain.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed in many hotels on my trip but the staff here where the most friendly and always very helpfull. Not in the best location but otherwise Very good
- ashraf (10/5): - Nice stay. Great location. Awesome rooftop swimming pool. Will stay again.
- Deepak (6/5): Average hotel - Average hotel in Bali. Rooms have a claustrophobic feel with no light and air flowing through. May be it is due to bad design of the rooms.
Moreover, credit cards did not work on two days. Maybe this was just a glitch.
Staff is courteous and nice. Breakfast options are limited with almost no options for vegetarians.
- Fay (8/5): - the staff could not do enough for you but restaurant was expensive for the area and when we went to order many things not avail.
- Patrick (8/5): good hotel on busy road - The room was a good size and having a seperate bath and shower was a big plus.
Service was fiendly and reasonably efficient. Upon checkout I was surprised that that I could not pay for extras with my Visa but had to pay in cash.
The only drawback was that we were in a front room and the road noise was very loud, so would not stay in a front room again.
- jennifer (6/5): good hotel. - we stayed in this hotel for 6 days and 5 nights. rooms are nice and good. me and my boyfriend loves the big bathroom. but still with mosquitos. I suffered a lot from mosquito bites. It also hard for us to get sleep due to noisy and busy road. hotel staff are nice and friendly. they always give a big smile. breakfast they serve are good but we noticed that they have same menu everyday.
- kk (6/5): Did not like the design. - Location of bathroom is attached to balcony and its always humid when you go there. if you leave the door open then u welcome all the mosquitos. even though bathrooms were clean but there was smell of gutters coming out of showers all the time. also did not like glassed toilet. Not a pleasant site when someones there. Mirrors above toilet makes it even worse. overall rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. I really liked the hospitality of staff. Nice people who are there to help you. However a little disappointment from receptionist whom we asked about fare to kuta and he mentioned double price as driver waiting outside the hotel was friends with him. Found out they charged 3 times high fare after coming back with metered taxi.
- 307 (6/5): Good for one Night - We arrive late at 1am. 24hrs reception. Room service club sandwich not great but we were happy to have something to eat at that time of the night. Roof top Swiming pool in the morning was great. We appreciate Breakfast for its exotic touch. Drivers with good cars in front of hotel was
handy. Overall fantastic value for money option. We recommend this property.
- student (10/5): Very good location, everything close by - Amazing experience hotel staff and food were always nice
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible three nights in Bali - very poor looking room, not very comfortable with surrounding of the area. insects are everywhere in the room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great experience - Had a great experience , a bit far from attractions
- nurul ain (10/5): SUPER OWESOME - I stay at this hotel for 3 days. sent email for special request, req for double bed and stay at level 6, got reply that they try the best. Late check in, but they reserved for me as my request.. I LOVE THIS HOTEL SERVICE. Clean and very comfortable place.. nice swimming pool, good service. Only the shower got a bit smelly for the 1st 2 minutes. Will stay at this hotel again n again.
- katie (8/5): Great for short stay close to airport - As it is on a major road traffic noise is a problem but as we were only there for a short time it was fine. The rooms are decadent & my mother was blown away. Very very large rooms, beautiful linens, multiple pillows, super fast air con & an amazing bath. Best room I have stayed in for a long time just the traffic noise was an issue
- graemeb (6/5): Motorcycle noise - Pros
1. Clean, polite staff, huge tv bath
Cons
2. Very noisy from motorcycle traffic, smelly toilet drain (plumbing problem), far from tourist areas.
- Rick (6/5): Great time except for mosquitos - Mosquitoes made it impossible to use outdoor bath area, smelly showers when water comes out for a few seconds, shower changes temp through out shower.
- Gary Raymond (10/5): A1 hotel - A top place to stay I will go back
- Ela (10/5): Comfortable and well organized. - I liked it. They provided necessary stuff. The room was spacious.
- yvette (10/5): - clean, classy and comfortable .great staff .dont bother crossing the road to the galleria shopping centre, nothing of interest at all in there .make sure to have an omelette made at breakfast(fantastic)
