- Zezheng (10/5): A perfect place for people visiting glacier national park. - Super clean. Great food. AC works perfectly. Nothing to complain.
- Melinda (10/5): Loved it - Comfortable

- Seward (7/5): Strategic location for your base - while exploring Glacier National Park & surrounding area... - We stayed a couple of days at this hotel. Very comfortable and relaxing. The owner's wife Masi was fantastic. Perfect place to stay while you are exploring and visiting the area, only 15 miles from Glacier National Park! Room was good, it wasn't quite winter yet - so we lucked out on some good weather for our trip. I messed up the days (I thought) we were staying at the hotel (my fault), but while the Owner was unpleasant about it - his wife was nice and made things right with us. Would suggest that you stay here - great location! Train goes near the back of the building. Prices overall in Montana are higher than what we are used to seeing.
- Julia (10/5): - Warm and cozy stay with incredible staff! Right outside of the mark, great spot to rest up before a day of adventure!
- Wendy (7/5): Perfect place to stay near Glacier for hiking - Clean and good location, comfortable beds, coffee maker, microwave and fridge in room. Located right on main road and train runs behind, but at night traffic is minimal, and although train comes often, never woke me up. Family run, so office hours are hit or miss; hot water didn’t get super hot sometimes
- William Duff (9/5): GRAND sleeping in a CABOOSE in the WOODS! - CLEAN in all areas. We thought it was a comfy bed. They gave us an extra blanket comforter as it was cold outside. Great CABOOSE with a few added extras. Could have used some cream & sugar for the coffee pot. Almost OFF SEASON so we were glad I could get a sleep over for a surprise birthday outing for my beautiful bride & best friend! If it would have snowed more or got colder, those little electric heaters in there would not have kept up. Some softer, dimmer lights that are ON all the time would be more inviting as the other ones we could turn off & on were fine.
- Peter (8/5): -
- Rebecca (6/5): - Staff did not have our reservation. Room appeared to be not fully cleaned - personal items from a previous guest still in the room.
- Michael (8/5): - A small place off the highway. Had a little kitchen next door and had a hot meal after a long day. Room was cozy. Only negative is trains do run behind the property in the middle of the night and the hwy is in in the front. We knew ahead of time and had ear plugs and slept great. Would definitely stay again
- Kim (2/5): Most disgusting place we have ever stayed! - The room was relatively clean and the HVAC system provided a comfortable sleeping temperature. This is the only positive of our stay! This is an edit to my original review after reading the owner's comments to other negative reviews...his responses indicate he should find another line of work. Talk about unprofessional! Our room was located about 30' feet from a major roadway and about 35' from railroad tracks. During the night five 100 car coal trains went by our room. Combined with the loud road noises even with my chainsaw earplugs in it made for a very difficult night of sleeping. There were two queen beds but both were pushed against the wall so if a couple wanted to sleep in one your spouse would have to climb over you to get out so we slept and messed up both beds. The mattresses in both beds were at least 10 years past their time for replacement; extremely uncomfortable. We had no hot water; same complaint as the couple next to us. And this wasn't just at night while trying to shower when there was only one other unit occupied but also in the morning when we had the only lights on. My wife went to see the owner in the restaurant because previous guests had somehow locked Netflix on the television. His response was so uncooperative that she gave up. (After reading his responses to other reviews and the way he treated my wife I cannot believe he is still in business. Obviously he never heard the business practice that the customer is always right. People reading his responses would never stay here...just wish I had!) The restaurant was disgusting and I cannot believe it has ever been inspected by the state. Fortunately it was closed; not that we would have ever eaten there! Read the other negative reviews and this owner's reponses before staying here!
Just read proprietor's responses. Normally do not waste time responding to such an ignorant, incompetent, and unprofessional individuals! What "sticks in my craw" is everything you write is untrue! Netflix locked at your facility! Water temp about 80! Multiple different room layouts!
- Chris (10/5): - This place was very clean with wifi.
- Dustin and Karen (8/5): - A very nice and remote area. We stayed in the caboose and it was great. You are near the historic rail way so trains do run near but that did not bother us. The food at the tavern was very good and the portions were large.
- Maria (8/5): We liked the convenience and location of this hotel. - the location was great - very close to the Glacier park. The manager was very friendly and helpful - provided us with a ton of information for visiting the Glacier. We arrived rather late but their restaurant was still open and the food was quite decent. this hotel is very close to the railroad- we were woken up a few times by passing trains
- Christa (5/5): Not sure I'd stay again. The room options that included private bathrooms were way overpriced. - The cottage was spacious and clean. The sheets and the blankets were really great. Thus, our room was very nice. The common showers were really dirty and there was hair all over. The shower curtains desperately needed to be washed or replaced.
- Robet (4/5): Great location, bring your own heater. - Location and remoteness Cabin was an ice bin with no heater at all. I had to blow the hair dryer on the bed to warm up. I had to use a blanket from my own truck to get even remotely warm. Great place, but like sleeping in an ice cave.
- Bart (8/5): Leuk verblijf - Prima locatie dichtbij Glacier NP.
- Donald (8/5): - Great location, easy check in after hours
- Magdalen Olivet Ngo (5/5): Into the woods experience - The cabin had heater and AC working well. The staff didn't inform us that check-in is until 9pm and he was sarcastic and the least helpful when we checked out.
- Jon (6/5): Close to park. - We did like the proximity to the park. The room itself was small, but comfortable. The grounds could have been more inviting. Also, the restaurant was OK, but could be so much more than it was. Not laid out too well and seemed like it was a storage area too. Food was OK.
- Katelyn (8/5): - Easy
- Naomi (4/5): - The bathroom didn't have a trash can , water was lukewarm. The door was hard to lock, the TV was hard to set, we ran out of toilet paper
- William (10/5): - Clean and cozy
- Derek (2/5): - Did not end up staying and did not get offered anything back. Service was rude, treated as an inconvenience from the first call.
- Tom (7/5): I was wonderful, the solitude and courtesy was great 👍 - The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. I was arriving later than I originally thought and I spoke to the manager about that. He put the key in a lock box on the door with a code from which I could obtain the key to my room. That was a wonderful gesture and I appreciated that very much!!! I really cannot think of anything they did that I didn't like.
- Philipp (7/5): -
- Cathy (6/5): - Easy to get to Smell
- Colburn (10/5): - Secluded cabin, it was cozy. We were there during fall so we used ac during the day but there was no heat source in the room for the chilly morning. The staff there are awesome and the cafe has great Asian food. It’s a little pricey but given the location it was probably fair. I look forward to my next stay!
- Chris (8/5): Fun little stay. Restaurant nearby with good food part of Inn - Easy access to park, fun place to stay. Wasn’t particularly tidy. Paint brushes and tools in our cabin
- Cesare (6/5): -
- jim (2/5): - Did not stay. Room not clean. Bugs in bathroom. Entry had chicken manure in area. Check in area clutter. Not clean
- Lali (10/5): - Great stay overall! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything was well-maintained. The only small downside was that the shower water could have been a bit hotter. Other than that, everything was perfect and I’d happily stay here again
- Joanne (10/5): - Very clean and spacious cabin.
- Michaël (8/5): -
- Judy (6/5): -
- Dewayne (10/5): - Average roadside motel. It is sitting in front of a rail switching yard. Although we heard no train whistles, there was train traffic all night. We were awoken about four times during the night. I would however stay again. Please replace the pillows.
Afwerking kon beter
- Karen (6/5): - The room was clean but smelled musty. The road was noisy and the trains ran quite often but that can’t be helped.
- Haas (5/5): - the location to both sides og park. minimal amenties.
- Greer (7/5): -
- Jameson (5/5): - The location The staff was rude
- Charles (6/5): Good location, old facility- get what you pay for - Good location Not what we expected. Internet didn’t work very well. AC made loud noises every 5 min thru night
- Robert (10/5): If you’re coming to Glacier Park to visit? Glacier Haven Inn is a good home base to start from. - Convince -Location - multiple options for accommodations.
Affordable pricing.
Great friendly staff (family owned) and a restaurant with great food. I had the Asian BBQ & and fried rice. Ate on it for two days. Yum!
We planned to stay one day while passing through but, decided to stay two nights because of all the adventures the area has to offer.
You could stay a month and never experience the many options available.
We will definitely plan our next trip to Glacier park with Glacier Haven Inn on our list of “go to” places to stay. What I didn’t like I liked the best.
Kinda need to unplug. WiFi is available but, use the time to unplug.
- Gayle (8/5): - This is a family owned and operated little motel, a long time in business. For the value, I would recommend it. But I would also highly recommend you leave your porch light on all night. Someone tried to get into my room with their keys that obviously matched their door and not mine. Scared the hell outta me. I watched this dark-hooded figure try to key in and eventually come back with a flashlight, discover they were at the wrong door and then leave. Probably harmless, but I couldn't fall asleep after that. Otherwise, the hotel is right by the highway, Amtrak trains at night, and thin walls between rooms. Probably safe enough, just can be noisy.
- Holly (8/5): - beautiful area ! owner was friendly and let me know I left items in my room. Room was clean and beds comfortable lots of spiders in room ( that time of year)
- Nisha (10/5): Amazing stay - I had an amazing stay at this place line never before. I would strongly recommend. The amazing part of this was Netflix and chill. Stay fun.
- Silvia (10/5): - I loved that the room had everything we needed and was very clean. Perfect place to stay if visiting Glacier National Park.
- Elisa (6/5): - Between busy road and railroad tracks
- Heather (1/5): Not worth the high price we paid at all. - The staff were not pleasant. Bathroom had moldy windows, old creamer, sugar packets hard. Room smelled. We will not return. Most everything
- Mary (10/5): - Great place to stay! Loved the staff & the food at the restaurant!
- Arnette (1/5): Look for another accommodations - The only good thing about this place is the location as we were going to a wedding in Essex The staff was not friendly. When I first got there, I asked if we could get a screen for the front window. He said that there would be one there the next day. The only reason I wanted to screen was for the fresh air due to the smell of urine in the room. The bedspreads were filthy. The sheets appeared to be clean, but the bed itself was very uncomfortable We were there four days never received a screen. The bathroom was redone, but the window and the tub had mildew around the edge and needed to be replaced the tub backed up the curtain in the tub had scum on it because of the back up. Under the beds were empty water bottles, and other debris. The room was not cleaned the whole time we were there just fresh towels because I left them on the floor and our trash was emptied. That's it. There are free range, chickens, and roosters that poop all over the decks at the entrance of your room and in the driveway beware where you're walking. The restaurant there is only conveniently open at their leisure.
- John (6/5): Clean, affordable, safe – but definitely has thin walls. - Very convenient location to glacier national Park. Prices absolutely better than at West glacier, which was only 20 miles away. If you are a light sleeper, then the highway in front of the hotel and the rail line in the back of the hotel might make it a less than ideal sleeping experience. I turned on the floor fan in my room, and that noise added to the air conditioning Made everything OK for me to sleep most of the night, mostly pretty well.
- G (7/5): Budget friendly place to stay - The Hotel is located near to West Entrance of Glacier park which is easier to commute. The rooms are good for family.
- Jipeo (1/5): - Nul
- Steve (5/5): It had a beds. - It had beds. Staff was friendly. You can hear everything; Neighbors, traffic, and the constant trains located behind the motel. They have a restaurant but it’s only open 5pm-9pm. They brought towels daily but no real housekeeping. The internet is 50/50 at best.
- Robert (10/5): - Beautiful cabin in the woods!!
- Cindy (10/5): Best adventure ever - We were not expecting to stay in a caboose, but we did enjoy it every minute of it , it was unique
- William (10/5): - Was expecting a room in the motel, we got a small cabin which was nice.
- G (10/5): Excellent evening and morning enjoyed a nature - The Hostess was very polite and welcoming and helped with what we needed. The cabin was beautiful and private. My son loved the trains !! nothing
- Marsh (9/5): - Clean and friendly staff. Just what I wanted! Train and Highway were noisy, but that is the nature of the location and all lodging along there, would have the same issue. Beautiful weather and beautiful scenery. I will be back!
- Robert (7/5): - Good location and noise from train and road was less than expected. Room smelt damp and could do with a revamp. More help and information on check in would have appreciated e.g. restaurant and food.
- Qazaq (4/5): Never come back to this hotel. Never recommend it to other friends. - Location Small room. Value of money much more than deserved. Receptionist offered me upgrade without more extra money but more $50 for cleaning. I appreciated that offer. I told her I will go check the original reservation, then I will see the room she suggested. When I came back (less than 5 minutes), and asked her to give me the key to see her offer, she said not available as she gave it to another client in front of me. This was annoying and far away of professionalism. She gave me a word but she didn’t keep it. As she offered me something, at least wait for me to say yes or no.
The other client was very gentle and she said if you want it I will not take it so that you can take it. I said no and wish her a nice stay.
It was a bad experience for me and my family at this hotel.
- Forte (10/5): Good people nice place and close to the park - I didn't have breakfast, but I had dinner the night I arrived. It was very good
- Alok (9/5): -
- Lisa (4/5): - Air conditioning Bathroom window was wired and didn’t shut all the way. Gap under front door.
- Daisuke (10/5): Pleasant stay near Glacier National Park - We stayed in the trailer. It was a large one and comfortable for our family. Laundry and shower at the RV campsite was also convenient and well maintained.
- Amber (9/5): Was a nice place to stay. - The check in process was super easy and owners were amazing! I love that the bar/restaurant was open pretty late serving food when we checked in. Everything was was awesome for our stay, but our room had a weird smell that wasn’t pleasant.
- Xiaoyu (9/5): -
- Abhishek (1/5): Pathetic - It’s an RV space without even a seat in 1by 1 meter shower space. Spiders and midgets welcome you getting bit throughout your stay Enjoy your party with insects
- Jan (7/5): -
- jim (9/5): Love it, the view was magnificent. - They very graciously helped us upgrade, for additional cost, to a cabin from a motel room. Also, they are very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. 0
Dvs. En del støj.
Ingen morgenmad.
- Katherine (9/5): Enjoyed how cute and functional the caboose was! Would definitely recommend to others. - Loved the caboose! Was unsure if we needed to take garage out or if there were anything required for checking out.
- Tusjant (3/5): -
- Joanna Marie (8/5): -
- Billie (1/5): -
- Emily (2/5): - We made a reservation to stay during a concert we had bought tickets for and the property called, told us they were overbooked for that weekend and canceled our stay. They did refund our money, but by that time there was literally nothing available for about a 100 mile radius of the venue. Why list on Expedia if you have no problem canceling people’s reservations?? Will never book with them again.
- Carey227 (7/5): - The location was excellent. There was only half a roll of TP, no paper towels, napkins or drinking glasses. Otherwise a happy stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Like camping in a Switching yard - In the ads this came off as a self-contained resort area. It's not really anything of the sort. It's just a few cabins and a restaurant. When we got there the restaurant was closed claiming they don't open the restaurant on Mondays. This was of course never disclosed in the listing. We were directed to a place called the Izaak Walton LOGE Inn/bar and grill 6 miles down the road and immediately wished we had booked there instead. Better hotel for similar price. It also didn't help that halfway through the evening the air conditioner started shaking and rattling like crazy. When I went to inquire about it I was told that 'a part had been ordered and would be arriving in a few days to fix' when I explained that it didn't do me any good at that moment and let the sound of so loud it would be impossible to sleep.... it was actually louder than the constant freight trains passing by. when I asked about an alternate room, I was told that there was no other rooms available. However one look outside at the lack of other vehicles clearly confirmed that this was simply a lame false excuse.
- Timothy (6/5): - No breakfast. Very shaby construction and looks neglected.
- Lisa (10/5): - Everything was great. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
- Walter (8/5): Cabin near Glacier national park - Great cabin 20 mins away from Glacier national park. We stayed the cabin in the RV perfect for 2-3 day stay. Owner was really friendly.
- Madonna (8/5): I would stay here again! - Super friendly staff, beautifully location and charming cottage vibe! We loved our one night stay in beautiful wooded areas of Montana! The only thing I would have wanted is a breakfast available in the morning-even if we had to pay for it.
- jerry (1/5): - The fridge was cold. THE COST over $200, no breakfast, no kleenex, tiny room. Poorly advertised as a quadruple suite.
THE LOCATION...this old building was sandwiched between a noisy road and a freight train track that ran all through the night.
NO FOOD anywhere near this place..
Oir credit card was charged immediately 3 months before we arrived, though Booking said we would pay at the hotel..
We were very disappointed with this online booking.
- Sriba (8/5): - Cozy and very close to the park entrance The bathroom was not clean enough. There were yellow marks around the toilet.
- James (5/5): Would not stay there again - The rooms was close the STAT PARK No breakfast and beds was not comfortable and the room smelled bad
- Lukas (10/5): Perfekter Unterkunft für den Glacier NP - Sehr nette und tolle Gastgeber - extrem Gastfreundlich!
Für den Glacier NP bestens gelegen.
Leckeres und frisches Abendessen im Restaurant!
Jederzeit wieder!
- Glofer (8/5): - We had an easy check-in, staffs were accomodating. Our room is well kept, they changed our towel and took our trash everyday. The place is located by the highway and behind has a train railway track. We can hear train and cars passing through but we were able to sleep otherwise. I found mess under our bed which seems to be there for a quite a while, and cobwebs.
What I also like is the place nestled approximately 25 mins away from west entrance and 35 mins away from st mary entrance. On our 2nd day we use the west entrance til logan pass on our 3rd st mary all the way to west entrance. Just hope they will clear the back side since the grass is already by the window. Większe "mieszkania" to przyczepy kempingowe (dosyć kompaktowe).
- Karen (2/5): I knew the motel was on the highway, however starting late in the night at least 8 trains ran about 50 feet from the bac - Nothing. The constant trains 50 yards behind the property that ran from late in the night to early morning hours. Plus the constant traffic 25 feet from the front of the property.

- Rene (10/5): - We loved staying at Glacier Haven Inn. It is a family run business and they were so kind to us. The cabin was very cute and quaint. The cabin we stayed in didn’t have a bathroom but the bath house was right next store and very clean. I was impressed with how well maintained and clean everything was. It is very close to the Glacier east entrance, only about 15 minutes away. The restaurant on the property has very good homemade Chinese food as well. All around we loved our stay!
