- Ashley (8/5): - If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it. If you're looking for a cheap place to crash while you explore the surrounding areas, this hits the mark. It was clean, staff were friendly, the pool was small but decent. Remember to ask for a mini fridge at check-in if needed. Lots of things to do in the area and the restaurants were also cheap and delicious.
- Stanley C (6/5): - We liked that the property was dog friendly. While the towels and sheets were clean, they were well worn and had visible stains. The carpet in our room was new, but there was a small area cut out near the bathroom door. The bathroom fixtures on the tub and shower were old and rusty. The shears on our windows were ripped. The plastic tray for the coffee maker that holds the coffee pod did not fit the machine in our room. When I went to the dining area for coffee, it was made in a Mr. coffee not the commercial urn. The cream and sugar were in recycled containers and no serving spoon available. The light poles lighting the parking lot were leaning and propped up, one by a tree! We slept well, our bed was comfortable, and our showers were hot. We felt the management’s efforts to cut costs leaned to cheap and low budget.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never Again - Bed bugs that we didn’t realize it’s what it was until night 2 of 2, super early in the morning when I snapped this picture. We were blaming day one itchiness on the climate. We all came home with bites on our legs and lower backs. First experience with bed bugs. Completely disgusted. Dead bolt didn’t work. Random holes in all the walls. I stared at a black spot in the ceiling at 2am convinced a big roach was going to fall on my face. Not a roach, it was a hole. Pool was so cloudy it looked like milk. Hard pass. Random broken chair sitting in the hall. Random ice/water machine thing in the hall, also broken. Work order from literally years ago hanging from the curtain rod. Loud bangs in the middle of the night. Nonskid mat in the tub was so gross I took a shower at the house of people we were visiting. Didn’t attempt the breakfast because I was scared to. You’re better off staying in Carbondale or Cape and paying the same amount for a much better hotel stay. I typically stay in Cape but needed to be more local due to shared transportation. But hey! At least the blanket was soft! Never ever again. Nope.
- Jimmie (4/5): - On the go breakfast - pretty much means go someplace else! The most pathetic hotel breakfast I've ever encountered. Room had peeling paint on the walls in the bathroom. Hallway carpet was soaking wet about midway on the first floor. The security locks to the back door of the building was non existing. It was drilled out.

- Kay (2/5): - We had numerous problems. First, not every room has a refrigerator, so we had to request a room with a fridge. They couldn't tell us which rooms had fridges, so the clerk had to leave and check the rooms while we waited for 15-20 min. Our room supposedly had the fridge. When we looked at the room the lid on the toilet was off and the toilet wasn't' working. I had to go back downstairs to request a different room. The clerk didn't believe me and had to check. Of course, I was correct. Then we had to go through the whole process of finding another room with a refrigerator. The room was ok, but not as clean as it could have been. The pass key did not work, and we had to take care of that problem. The breakfast was a joke. There were a couple of stale muffins and a boiled pot of coffee. Not good. Then a strong storm interfered with whet we had planned to do in the area. We decided to check out a day early due to that storm They would not refund our money. I suspect this hotel will be out of business in a year.

- Timothy (2/5): - Worst experience with any hotel. The room was dirty and smelt like wet dog. The shower was broken and there was NO breakfast. Not even coffee or toast. It was the absolute worst place I’ve stayed and I will be avoiding all hotel 7s in the future. Do yourself a favor and go an extra 20 minutes or stop off early. Avoid this hotel!!!!

- Kathy (4/5): - There was long black hairs in the tub drain and on the floor by tub, furniture was dusty, Not enough towels provided, nightstand drawer pull was unscrewed & hanging. No milk or creamer provided for coffee and very slim offerings for breakfast. Luckily we brought our coffee pot and snacks, but had to buy creamer. No refrigerator and we had items needing refrigeration. We were put in a handicap room not knowing that you have to ASK specifically for a refrigerator. No bedspread on our bed. Room was just bare and not clean. Lady said she just cleaned our room. We couldn't watch TV bc we couldn't find remote. Found out the previous cleaners washed remote in bedding. Got another remote from front desk, but the batteries were so low we kept getting message about low batteries. Nothing was available to watch except football. If they have Direct TV, there should be a few programs to watch, but we had nothing to watch.

The towels were dirty the jacuzzi tub was full of dirt in the bottom there were dog prints on the blankets on the bed nothing had been wiped off nothing swept. I had to clean the room myself when I told the girl at the front desk she said oh the housekeeper that quit must not have cleaned it and not once offered me a clean room or to have it cleaned.

- Zach (2/5): - Upon arrival the employee is out front doing drubs with a man that appeared to be homeless. The whole hotel smelled like marijuana. I felt like I was sleeping in the most dangerous place in town. The towels in my room were dirty. The shower spat out water in every direction from a broken shower head. The bed has a metal ring around it that made a horrible sound every time I got on it or even shifted while sleeping. The TV worked, that was about the only positive thing I can say about the experience. If I owned the place I would immediately fire everyone raise prices to keep the shady people away and a complete remodel since it hasn’t been touched since 1972. I run several companies, stay in hotels regularly, and this was by far the worst. But it’s the only hotel within 50 miles so out of pure lack of options is why I didn’t just eat the cost and go somewhere else.

- Sarah (6/5): - The rooms are outdated there was a hole in our wall and the ac didn’t work good and very loud was woken up several times from people coming and going all hours of night.
- Joshua (2/5): - We stayed here one night and it wasn’t good at all. Right away we noticed the sign from the hotel was off the building so we weren’t for sure it was the right place. There was a piece of paper on the front door stating they were under construction, but it was obviously just an excuse for the poor condition of everything. Coffee table in the room was broken on one side. The jacuzzi tub had dirt and human hair on the inside of it and the front panel of it was broken off. The rear entrance lock was broken so people could come and go as they please. We went out to breakfast because the hotel breakfast consisted of a couple of stale cereal choices and frozen waffles that had seen better days. Not an enjoyable stay.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The bathroom was very dirty. The toilet was stained and dirty. There was mold around the tub. The refrigerator did not work. There was a musty smell to the room. Exterminator spray odor was strong throughout the hotel especially in the hallways. I walked across the carpet in my socks, and they turned a very dirty brown color. The beds were clean; otherwise, I would have left. At the entrance to the back stairway, multiple cars were parked haphazardly with music blaring and lots of pot smoking. I was awoken at 5 am with music blaring from the parking lot. And then a fight ensued with loud screaming and cursing in the room across the hall.

The room smelt like mildew and the sheets had burn holes in them even though it said it was a non smoking facility. Outside of this the stay was satisfactory.

- chris (8/5): - This property was rather run down with the amenities, but I found the core services were very good. The bed and linens were done just right and clean. Bathroom was totally clean. The property has a lot of badly run down furniture. A/C worked perfectly, and the basic fridge was all good too. I enjoyed that it was a more low tech / low traffic & motel style, I found this more quiet in the mornings and evenings. There was plenty of comfortable lobby space also, and it was very comfortable given it was a heat wave. It is far away from the connecting highways, but there is a Walmart to shop nearby.
- Michael (2/5): Zero stars - Checked in around 5:30am due to bad storms and having to drive very slow. Went up to my room and sat on the Futon take my boots off and my butt touched the floor. Finally was able to get about 3hrs of sleep after unwinding from the drive and getting a shower. My friend chose the bed by the restroom , I took the bed by the window. Started to doze off and rolled over and the bed flipped off the box that it’s on. Went down to the front desk at 9:30 to complain the lady was very rude and nasty. She asked if it was the bed by the window and I said yes, then after continuing to be nasty, started saying that she knew about the futon but not the bed? Why did she know which bed flipped me into the floor??? Worst stay ever!!!!

They would only refund half of our money. The same thing happened this time. First the cable kept dropping out & then the power did as well. I just grabbed my belingings & left! I will never stay there again!

- Kelly (6/5): Adequate for one night. - The TV in our room didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed. There were no towels for the pool which a staff member said they would provide us with, but never did. The pool was freezing cold. Breakfast was minimal… cold cereal, instant oatmeal, toast or frozen waffles. Staff at the desk couldn’t verify the signs around town regarding theBoil Water Order.
- Nathan (2/5): - This hotel 7 is unprofessional. Our door didnt lock, wife checked the beds for bugs and found a live spider and HUGE pee stains on the mattresses. The pool was broken so the water was ice cold, didnt even stay the night but the manager refused a refund because the beds were messed up where my wife checked them and found the piss stains. Lady at the front desk promised i would get a refund so i left at first on good terms but when i never got it an called back she was extremely rude and had every excuse to not refund me. Never seen a hotel so money hungry but whatever, 94 dollar lesson learned i guess. Like the rest of Anna itll be out of business soon anyway. Save your money and drive the extra 20 mins to Carbondale you wont regret it!

- Alex (6/5): - I stayed one night while traveling through the area. The good, it was cheap and easy check-in and the staff were great! The not so good; it's an older building that definitely needs some updates. The walls are pretty thin too and somebody was "having fun" around 10-11pm and you could hear everything, lol. Overall, good if you just need a bed for the night, but don't expect a 5-start hotel experience.
- Chad (4/5): Mouse FECES IN PILLOW CASE - We were in town for a Funeral. Checking in was easy and finding our room was simple. Staff was pleasant. However, after returning for the night moving a pillow case and mouse poop shakes out. Staff moved us to another room but at 930pm after a long day having to repack And relocate was not pleasant! We will not be staying here again anytime soon.

Pool not tested for weeks unable to swim and elevator out of test date expired certification as of last april and could smell hydraulic fluid in elevator.

- Melissa (4/5): Violates ADA guidelines for service animals - We have a service dog for a child with autism. At 10 pm the staff called requesting documents or we would be charged pet rates. They were told the laws according to the ADA guidelines. https://www.ada.gov/law-and-regs/ They then deactivated the key card to our room. When I went to the check in desk the next morning to pay "pet charges" I was told by the manager we would be charged the next time if we didn't have paperwork for him. As an all around review; the rooms are not properly clean, tub has ground in dirt, pool is unheated, ladder in deep end is broken, pool dirty looking, no coffee in the room, breakfast is cereal, packaged oatmeal, milk and OJ. If you are sleeping it's fine if you want what the add says you get move on to Carbondale. It's only 25 minutes away. And yes, I am filing a complaint with the ADA. I did take photos so they can't charge us with property damage.

She gave us another room and it also wreaked of smoke. The toilet had poop streaks in the bowl and the toilet paper roll was used when it should have been replaced with a new roll. The tub had a dirty film so no bath! The beds were bad as well. Horrible nights sleep. Overall the worst hotel I’ve been in and a waste of money.

There were some elements of disrepair in the room like weird patches on the walls missing paint and the shower curtain set up about to collapse. All easily fixable for a better rating. My requested wake up call never happened. Overall, sill a good value with potential.

- Jeffery (4/5): - First room was a handicap room air conditioner was busted shower was busted old out dated we moved to a double and it was no better so moldy it was the worst stay ever
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I will never stay here again. Checked in late and Woke up to Bed Bug’s. I would definitely check your room… Employees weren’t surprised.. if I ever have to come back to this town I would rather sleep in my car than stay here.
- Karri (2/5): - One of the rooms had bedbugs. Another the door didn’t lock at all or close from the outside. We asked if housekeeping would clean our room and change the sheets and leave fresh towels but they didn’t. Overall it was a terrible experience and will not be back.
- SHEILA (8/5): - Everything was good , bed was hard and could use better pillows but everything else was clean and in good shape

- jesus (4/5): - receptionist it was friendly and kind but we get a handicapped room smelling so really bad,no microwave, breakfast time it was very very limited even when I went early and we choose going to eat somewhere else, I know it was a cheap hotel but at least I was expecting a room nice, clean and smelling good.

- Susan (4/5): - Took 4 tries before we got a room that didn’t smell of cigarettes or someone else already in it. Room was smelly, and the entire place can best be described as shabby.
- Rachel (8/5): - The property is currently undergoing much needed renovations. The lobby and breakfast area are lovely, so I'm sure the hotel will be delightful when renovations are finished. The front desk staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the pool was clean and operable, and I don't really ask for much more when I am traveling.
