- Rosemary (10/5): This is a restorative resort. Perfect facilities and service. - The hotel is an oasis of beauty and calm. The decor is welcoming, not overwhelming like some five star resorts. There is a difference between being fussed over and cared for. The air quality on the island is wonderful so it is a great pleasure just to sit on the comfortable balcony chairs, look at the pool & the ocean and BREATHE. Just out the door is a lively holiday town with every practical thing you might need. Marble floors in shower and bathroom. So beautiful but I wonder if there are falls because the clientele are not youngsters. There was music in the evening. Sometimes I listened, sometimes I just shut the heavy doors and curtains.

- Melissa (9/5): Gorgeous, relaxing stay - Staff are so friendly and welcoming but unobtrusive, I was able to really unwind and have a completely relaxing stay, just as I wanted it. Everywhere throughout is lovely and clean and well taken care of. Grounds/ gardens are gorgeous and the spa and the spa staff / service are first rate. Everything was really great but if I had to be picky - food at the buffet restaurant could perhaps be a little tastier/ higher standard. Corridors outside rooms a little noisy at times.

This is the best indicator of how good Hotel Fariones is. The hotel, its facilities and its staff are exceptional. You will find cheaper hotels on the island which hold a 5 star rating but none come close to rivalling Hotel Fariones. From the moment you arrive until you leave, they have everything covered. The garden is simply one of a kind and view in the morning from the rooms facing the ocean is paradise like Gym and SPA facilities are outside the hotel in a common area accessible to people outside the hotel and not the standards of a 5 stars. There was a sauna inside the hotel but it came at a quite steep extra cost. Staff on average was not the standards you would expect

This is the best indicator of how good Hotel Fariones is. The hotel, its facilities and its staff are exceptional. You will find cheaper hotels on the island which hold a 5 star rating but none come close to rivalling Hotel Fariones. From the moment you arrive until you leave, they have everything covered. The gardens are absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained with lush plants and flowers that create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The culinary experiences were a highlight: both the Chef’s Table and the Friday BBQ were exceptional—thoughtfully curated, delicious, and very generous. The spa is brand new, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. A special mention goes to the incredibly kind and attentive staff, especially the manager Carlos, who made our stay even more memorable. The quality of food and wine was consistently excellent across the buffet restaurant, the à la carte restaurant, and even the pool snack bar. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with an amazing bed and pillows, and a balcony offering a beautiful view. The pool area, surrounded by palm trees and plenty of loungers, is simply fantastic. The sports center is also impressive, offering a wide variety of classes and activities—all included. A final touch of elegance: the beautiful fresh flower arrangements placed throughout the hotel—on restaurant tables, in bars, bathrooms, and lounges—truly a refined and memorable detail. Overall, an amazing holiday—we would definitely come back! -

The cooking of meats and fish fresh to order in the buffet restaurant caused slow service in the restaurant and congestion around that area. Other services were either very good or excellent and in an excellent location. Because of the issues mentioned I would rate it 4 star plus.

We were half board but this only included an evening buffet - if you went to one of the two restaurants there was no contribution paid full price. Spa shouldn't have been closed Sundays - people are on holiday and expect to be able to use Service was a little slow round the pool.

The presentation, location and service was outstanding. The whole hotel is beautifully and artistically designed using paintings, ceramics, objet d'art, floral displays and eclectic furniture. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, impeccably dressed, extremely attentive and consistent.They are a credit to the hotel and cannot thank them enough for their wonderful service. The rooms are exquisitley furnished with balconies overlooking the pool area, ocean and stunning tropical gardens. We booked for bed and breakfast. The buffet breakfast was magnificent with every conceivable choice catered for. As you enter the stylish breakfast/dining room you are immediately greeted by members of staff who show you a desired table where you are promptly served drinks of your choice by the attentive waiter/waitresses. You can then then peruse the various selection stations and make your choices from fruit through to cooked breakfasts and everything inbetween. We did not go for the buffet dinner but instead used the terrace 'La Barra' that had a great menu in a lovely setting complimented by quality entertainment. A stay at this hotel comes very highly recommended and we were so impressed that we booked for February 2027 before we left. Thanks to all at Hotel Fariones for contributing to a memorable stay.

We were impressed immediately by the hospitality and professionalism of all the staff we encountered. We upgraded to a suite ( 744) and again we weren’t disappointed. A beautiful hotel throughout, with astounding views and gardens. The surrounding area is varied, some quiet and quality restaurants ect around the harbour area, and the local strip bars and restaurants etc within walking distance if you want that sort of stuff. We will definitely recommend and return to the Fariones hotel, and thank all the staff for giving us a great experience from start to finish.

Very friendly reception staff with great recommendations for restaurants in the old town, a great breakfast buffet with fantastic staff, a fantastic pool and grounds with very attentive pool side staff, and a very friendly all-round attitude from everyone at the hotel. The standard of cleanliness in the hotel bedrooms, and all the common areas, was also very high. I think we will definitely be back and we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Lanzarote.

We had a really lovely lunch and a bottle of Rosalita (their Rosè). Staff are so nice and very efficient. The hotel itself is truly 5 star. We will stay here on our next trip to Lanzarote.

The rooms are amazing, in particular the beds (matress and pillows so soft and sheets like silk), shower and turn down service. Breakfast was amazing, all tastes catered for. Pool and pool area was beautiful and never had a problem getting a bed. Staff in every area of the hotel a pleasure to deal with, so attentive and courteous. Highly recommend Los Fariones.

Man hat da echt alles und der Hotelservice sticht heraus. Die Relax Suiten sind toll, im Jacuzzi fühlt es sich an als wäre man direkt am Strand und kann so in Ruhe entspannen. Würde dieses Zimmer immer wieder buchen. Preise in den Restaurants teilweise kaum nachzuvollziehen. Obschon die Speisen sehr gut waren. Buffet Restaurant abends 57.- € p.P. ohne Getränke lohnt sich m.E. nicht. Dann besser direkt Room Service - diese Preise waren fair.

- timn_11 (10/5): The Best - It was the reputation of Hotel Fariones that drew us to Lanzarote, and we are so glad that we booked this hotel. The location is amazing, set in beautiful exotic manicured gardens with direct access to the beach and sea. The interior of the hotel is thoughtfully and superbly curated with a grand lobby, a buzzy bar and terrace, and various restaurants. Our room, a Relax Junior Suite was large, comfortable, and well designed, and enjoyed a private sea view balcony with a hot tub. These top category rooms have exclusive access to the roof top pool which very feels special. The main pool area is also excellent. Service was outstanding with friendly and helpful staff in all departments. Breakfast is a very generous buffet arrangement with great choice and impressive quality. Starting each day outdoors on the shady breakfast terrace was a joy. Despite its size, the hotel never feels crowded - there are so many secluded areas for guests to retire to when peace and quiet are required. The overall vibe of the hotel is decidedly upmarket but relaxed. Every detail has been considered to ensure that guests have the best time. Our sincere thanks go to the whole team at Hotel Fariones, for creating a special and memorable stay. We will return at the earliest available opportunity.

- 711outlook (10/5): Outstanding in every way - This was our second visit having previously visited in 2019. The improvement to the buffet breakfast was immense in terms of an even wider choice of hot and cold dishes- the hot food cooked freshly and in small quantities so it was piping hot. Based on this, although I’m not a fan of buffet dining, we tried the buffet dinner which was absolutely superb with the dishes individually curated. Although the weather was a bit mixed the built in balcony with a solid wall either side was a real sun trap and perfectly sheltered from the wind. It was so relaxing watching and listening to the sound of the sea. The main infinity pool is a delight - the jacuzzis less so as they tend to get monopolised by adults with their drinks and small toddlers. The staff and service are impeccable- your every want and need are attended to. This is an absolute jewel of a hotel and we intend to visit every January from now on if not before. It’s not cheap but worth every penny and in my view exceeds its five star rating.

- tomail33 (10/5): A Lovely "Happy Christmas" Stay - We stayed here over Christmas. It was our first time going to Lanzarote, and it was a great trip. The hotel is very impressive and from the moment we arrived we felt looked after. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view onto the beach. Breakfast is fabulous, with every option available. The evening meal buffet was not as impressive, but still ok. We found the staff to be very helpful, in particular housekeeping, the restaurant and bar staff, and the staff at the pool. The hotel is located right on the beach, and on a lovely walk way down to the old town harbour. My only comment would be the food wastage, could there be a more sustainable option for the ketchup and jam pots?

- T5565UWnickc (10/5): Another lovely stay - Our 5th stay at the lovely Hotel Fariones which remains our very favourite hotel in Lanzarote. The standards of the hotel itself in terms of the wonderful reception area and gardens - that must be reminiscent of the original Gardens of Eden - provide the foundations to a most wonderful relaxing holiday - and the views across the expanse of beach and sea add to this totally tranquil atmosphere. As always the staff were fabulous and particular praise should be given to the wonderful Manuel in reception who is beyond excellent as well his colleague Mario. Pamela in the breakfast area and bar also deserves the highest of praise for always providing the highest level of guest service - and always with a lovely smile. The Guest Experience team as always are the best in the business - and our deepest thanks go out to the whole team - with particular praise and thanks to the incomparable Harriet Thompson who is the diamond in this hotel jewellery box. Two areas that CAN be improved upon however, in order to make this hotel the best of the best are as follows: The quality of the food and levels of service in the Erizo restaurant are nowhere near the standards required for this hotel - and this needs to be looked at very quickly. If the management of the hotel need to know what good looks like then they only have to walks across the hotel gardens to restaurant Kaori - which provides the best quality of food and service in the whole of Lanzarote in my opinion. Please speak with Lorenzo the restaurant Manager and he will put you right. Secondly, the level of service in the Bella Lucia breakfast buffet restaurant is very mixed - depending upon who is serving ones table - and we DID arrive at breakfast each morning - as the holiday progressed - expecting a lower that previously expected level of service - not something that I though I would be saying about this otherwise excellent hotel. Overall though, a very enjoyable holiday, and we will no doubt be returning once again in 2026. And before I forget,,,,,the evening of the Christmas lights switch on was an absolute highlight and joy to behold - and the spectacular show that was put on for hotel guests and invited visitors was just the perfect start to the Christmas season.
