- Dana (10/5): We were really happy we booked here, when we go on vacation we love having a view of the water which makes it feel more - The location, view from our room, convenience to Acadia and Bar Harbor, liked having the coffee and filtered water bottle refill machine in the lobby! Liked the option for washer/dryer use if we needed it. Seemed like a moist smell/dampness in the room, but we figured that’s to be expected with the proximity to the ocean. Would have liked a few healthier options with breakfast - oatmeal or wheat breads, or more fruit variety but otherwise the breakfast was great!

I also appreciate that parking is free. I love the heated pool, great view at the lobby and while having breakfast.

- Vicki (10/5): A Perfect Getaway - The rooms are very clean, and our beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast has lots to choose from. Never disappointing. Every year we request the same room . It feels like home. The balcony and views are spectacular. We watch the sunrise every morning and it's breathtaking. I highly recommend staying here !

- Gina (7/5): It was sufficient for my short trip! - Location was good; close to Bar Harbor When I got there, there was insufficient toilet paper and no batteries in my remote for TV...they did immediately correct it when I told them. First night the heat would not turn on! It was in the 30's that night, so room was really cold! It did work the 2nd night, which was good!

Easily accessible with my husband‘s mobility issues since the first floor was right off the parking lot. They have an elevator, but we didn’t need it. Coffee in the lobby and daily made cookies. I think my favorite moment was stepping into our room for the first time and seeing the breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean right from the door! Overall, everything about Atlantic Eyrie Lodge was great, from the daily warm and fresh breakfast to the clean and well-maintained pool. The pool certainly was a great place to start and/or finish our day. We even got to watch a few deer right below us. The shuttle service was also great, it made getting around Bar Harbor quick and easy. I would not hesitate to come back for another stay at the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge and have already told some family and friends. n/a

The room was also spacious, and it was helpful to have the extra sink outside of the bathroom. I just wish there was an extra blanket/comforter or something because having just the sheets could be cold.

- JOHN (8/5): Nice Place to stay very convenient to Acadia National Park Free Shuttle to Park - Breakfast was included food was good . Very Nice view of Harbor Especially top floors and Northern End of the Building , staff did replace towels and remove trash from outside the room after leaving outside the room. No house keeping , opening of room doors were hard to open and most guest slam doors which would wake even a deep sleeper. I booked through booking.com when I arrived at the Lodge they asked me to sign an agreement of room cost which was about $100 dollars less than what booking.com charged me. I will more than likely not use booking.com again because they said it was the best price ! NOT TRUE!

Just apples and oranges. Very rude staff. Checkout was at 11:00. Staff member knocked on door at 11, just as we were ready to leave saying, rudely, why are you still here it's 11? Never in all years of travel for pleasure and business have we had this happen.

- danahE3804AV (10/5): Large rooms, great views, convenient - Great place just outside the town making it somewhat quieter and relaxing. Being on the hill you get wonderful views of the harbor especially Bar island and its low tide causeway. Rooms are large and quiet all with balconies facing the ocean. Nice breakfast with eggs, meat, pastries, coffee, etc. Best of all the shuttle to downtown stops every half hour and is the last stop before town making it am10 minute ride that drops you off in the center without any parking worries or costs.

View from the balcony was superb The mattress coils made noise every time my wife moved on the bed. The microwave was not cleaned prior to our arrival, Sheets, pillows and mattress cover could have been of better quality and comfort

Worn or stained carpet, mattresses too soft, loose carpet from worn spots on outdoor stairs, minimal variety in breakfast daily.
- Becky (10/5): - Oh my goodness--what a lovely surprise this property was! Our third-floor room had a stunning view from the balcony, and the bed was super comfortable. And it was soooo quiet! I would highly recommend this to anyone!

- Karl (8/5): Ok stay. Good breakfast, could be friendlier. - The breakfast was good, the room was comfortable, and the location was good. Some of the staff were less than friendly. My husband asked for a paper bowl at breakfast so we could eat on the go. A worker came out of the back, glared at him, reached into a cabinet, handed him a bowl, and left. No conversation whatsoever. My husband said he felt like he was being a bother. Also, no one ever answered the phone at the front desk. We had to go down to talk to someone.

The room was large and comfortable, with a dining table and extra reading chairs. I wish they had options for vegans at breakfast other than store bagels and English muffins, and the fruit cups. The apples were good. Would like to have a non-dairy creamer or milk for coffee and cereal. Packaged oatmeal would be awesome. I know it seems hard, but just those 2 things would be great!!

- Katheidt (7/5): Decent option if you’re looking at saving some money but being close to Bar Harbor downtown - This room was close to downtown Bar Harbor and slightly lower cost than many rooms in dt. The view from the harbor facing side is pretty. The room was very unclean and moldy. The air vent is covered it black speckled mold and there are signs of water damage all over the ceiling and bathroom. Simple repairs have just gone unkept. The room was right beside of the elevator and quite noisy. The “mountain facing” rooms don’t see any mountains, they overlook the parking lot and utility poles and trees.
