- Kyle (10/5): Wonderful staff, clean rooms, welcoming facility. - The staff at arrival was pleasant and helpful, very nice and explained the amenities and local area. The rooms were clean, the showers worked properly, and the beds were comfortable. The lobby area was inviting and the laundry facilities were a big plus. There were smashed chips and debris on the floor in the lobby during the day for at least an hour. I believe any staff could have swept them up. The front entrance garbage always fills up quickly at every hotel during arrival and departure peak hours. A larger trash can or an 30 minute check by staff would remedy this problem.
- Sławomir (8/5): - Wygodne i duże pokoje z podstawowym zapleczem kuchennym; świetna baza wypadowa do Miami, Everglades, Key West; duży i wygodny parking Śniadania dość ubogie (dodatkowo styl amerykański nie jest łatwy dla Europejczyka)
- Rebecca (9/5): -
- Alison (10/5): It gave us the comfortable rest we needed. - Great location. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly great and with many choices. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing was really bad
- Emily (8/5): -
- Cheryl (10/5): -
- Janet (8/5): - Clean room, lots of storage area for gear and clothes, and excellent staff. Might be time for new pillows as the ones provided were lumpy.
- Mark (9/5): Great! - Location is superb. Furniture in the room was old.
- Jean-michel (9/5): Très bon séjour. - Hôtel confortable avec un personnel agréable. On a eu deux jours sans eau dans les robinets.
- Charles (4/5): - Staff was very friendly. Location was nice. Hotel room door key did not work 4 different times could not get into our room one night, they fixed it the next day.
1 day later it broke again. Could not get into our room again once we got into our room. We could not leave for dinner because the door would not lock.the next morning, we could not go to breakfast.Because it took until eleven o'clock to fix the door. So we did not have dinner one night and we had to miss breakfast. The next day. Maintenance fix the lock. They had no maintenance at night. So we were stuck in the room because the door would not lock or unlock. So four out of seven days, we were stuck in our room, or we were locked out of our room. Bathroom smelt lake sewer water. Very disappointed with Hilton. We stay there alot makes me think.Holiday inn might be a better choice.
- Albert (9/5): - Hotel práctico y cómodo a las puertas de los Everglades. Desayuno o un poco escaso.
- Paweł (2/5): - oszukują na opłatach, oszukują na opłatach,
- Sarah (10/5): Best stay for the best price - We arrived a day earlier than expected and our reservation was not until the next day. Mind you we got there on Christmas. I called a bit before we arrived, 3am, and the night staff who answered was polite, sweet, friendly and was able to accommodate an extra night stay even though the hotel was almost booked to capacity for the holidays. I was worried bc of a review I had read about the pool being closed and the hotel under renovation a month prior. I asked the kid on the phone and he assured me all amenities were open and he was right. The pool was open. They had floats for the kids. Water was a bit cold but by no fault of the hotel. They have a BBQ spot attached to the pool area. We did not use it but saw a large group one night having tons of fun swimming and BBQing. The room was clean... everything brand new. When we first got there, again 4am, the TV remote was missing. By 7am maintenance was knocking on the door to give us a remote and even came in and explained how to use it bc the system was new to the hotel and slightly different than just clicking power. The beds were comfortable, the pull out couch had a bed and extra sheets/blankets in the cabinet. Kictxhen had a fridge, freezer, coffee pot, microwave, silverware, literally the most at home you could feel in a hotel. It was my husband, me and our 3 kids. With 5 people in the room we still werent tripping over each other the room was so spacious. The last thing I would like to add, Florida City has some touristy attractions. Everything was 5-10 min away from the hotel. Being the last exit on the turnpike before the keys, the first key is like an hour away. Location was great especially for us because we were there to attend a wedding in Homestead. 15 min dive away. I would highly recommend this hotel for extended stays (more than a few nights). Breakfast was a little busy every morning but can't lie, we would sleep and get down there a bit late. Our entire stay was comfortable and easy. No complaints! Seriously, not one.

- Stefanie (10/5): -
- KIRILL (9/5): -
- Stefano (6/5): - location, availability of car parking, courtesy of the personnel. We were assigned a ground-floor room, located in front of the maintenance room and the ice dispenser: a very noisy area starting from the early hours of the morning. The breakfast service was undersized compared to the number of guests staying at the property during my visit (food ran out and there were long waiting times for replenishment, as well as long queues)
- Claudia (6/5): This is a practical option for families looking to explore Everglades, Keys, Miami - Excellent location as a base for exploring Everglades and Keys. The property is massively understaffed for the volume of guests. Very long lines at breakfast, foods/coffee not refilled (only one staff member to handle the buffet), front desk not attended during typical check in hours (only one staff member covering two hotels adjacent to each other).
- Vignesh (8/5): Good vale for Money - Good Breakfast and if we need to travel to Key west or Everglades, then this is a good location. Location and the cleanliness

- Daniel (10/5): -
- Jose (10/5): -
- Ryu (10/5): -
- Talmage (5/5): Unfortunately under construction, not as advertised - Unfortunately every amenity outside our room was under renovation. The pool closed. Half of the elevators closed. The gym closed. Breakfast closed but you can walk over to a different hotel for breakfast.
- Crystal (8/5): - I reserved a room with a king bed and was put in a room with two beds. I travel to the area often and the main complaint that I have about this property is that more than not, I do not receive the room typed reserved. On a positive side, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great customer service. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. i would stay here again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Local Brides…book here!! - LOCAL BRIDES….look NO further!!! PICTURES FOR PROOF!!!! I wish I could give Liz ,Sebastian and Merlina more than 5 stars! I was a bride who got married a few weeks ago, and I had the pleasure of working with Liz, the hotel manager. She was the easiest person to work with, always stayed in contact with me, made sure all my guests were happy and staying on the same floor. The best part? Look at the pictures. They went above and beyond and literally decorated my room (The Bride’s, pics attached), my husbands room, my mother of the bride’s room, and parents of the groom rooms. They left these notes that were so thoughtful. I’ve never seen a hotel do this not only for the bride but for the rest of the family. I even went a few days before and the little details, the signs, everything. SOFLO brides…look NO further than to book here with Liz. You absolutely won’t regret it!!! Thank you SO much again Liz, you made the entire experience incredible and all my guests were SO happy.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - I was greeted immediately by Monique, who also gave me a courtesy call after check in to see if I needed anything. The room is set up well, whether it’s for one night or an extended stay.
They have a sidewalk and good lighting around the entire perimeter of the building so I felt comfortable walking my dog at night.
- Michael (10/5): - Newly renovated rooms, nice kitchenette, good breakfast included.
- Rose (8/5): - I was given a room with two beds when I requested a room with king size bed and it need remodeling
- Crystal (6/5): - I reserved a King and was put in a room with two beds. The people that in the room next door was fighting most of the night. The bed was extremely hard. Very disappointed.
- Crystal (8/5): - Very friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated, but clean.
- thierry (6/5): -
- Nancy (10/5): Get stop with large family group - Get stop with a large family we had 4 rooms. Everything was great! I wish the pool was opened just an hr later since it’s summer. Breakfast was better than a continental with a lot of choices eggs, waffles, sausage, toast, fresh made yogurt and toppings, cereals and fruit. They also, offer bananas and apples or something throughout the day, rooms are large and has a kitchen suite. No oven but range top and large refrigerator. Beds were comfortable.
- Crystal (6/5): - The staff was extremely nice. The room and overall condition of the property was very dated.
- Shalene (10/5): - Nonissues
- Lisa (10/5): - Great
- JAMES (4/5): - We love Home2Suites. This was not any where near the experiences we've had at other locations.
- Verified traveler (8/5): I'm happy - Great hotel. Breakfast could be better. DND sign wouldn't stay on the door so we got more towels and bed makings than necessary, despite the presence of a kid mess. Overall fabulous stay.
- Jane (8/5): - Clean, real nice breakfast, staff very friendly. We expected to be a bit cramped with five, but we fit.
- Rayna (8/5): - This hotel was our homebase for visiting Everglades NP & Biscayne NP. It was a great location between the two parks. It was within walking distance to a couple of restaurants and close to convenience store for needed supplies.
The room was spacious and comfortable! It fit our family very well. The breakfast eating area was pretty small, so not a lot of room to eat, but there weren’t a lot of other guests there, so it was fine for us.
The only bad things I could say about the place is that it’s kind of in an industrial part of town & the computers weren’t working. Doesn’t help when you need to print something. Luckily a staff member let me email her the document & printed it for me! Many thanks to Emma for that!!
- Jaswinder (10/5): - Awesome
- Jessica (10/5): - The hotel was located in a great spot. It wasn’t super busy, but it was close to everything. Nothing.
- Eric (10/5): - Great stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Need upgrades,
- Lynsey (6/5): - The location was great! Just a block or so away from our travel plan! You could tell the building was older and had not been kept up the best! We also got 2 "cribs" for our children which ended up being play pens but they hadn't been cleaned and smelled of urine and the hotel also did not have sheets for the play pens so we ended up not even using the worst of the 2 and had to let one of our children sleep with us.
- Orly Andrea (8/5): - Service was great, my only complaint is that pool was out of service for part of our stay.
- Ramesh (10/5): - Very good
- Jason (2/5): Did not meet up to Hilton by any means. - 1. The hotel website stated there were ev charger(s) on the property however there was no where to charge.
2. It took about 10 min for the counterattendant to acknowledge i was there and check me in.
3. There was no place to walk a dog in the grass.
4. There was nothing to indicate major construction prior to us checking in.
- Williams (8/5): Very good - Monique was great! She answered all our questions and was friendly. All the staff at the counter were great.
They were painting but extended the pool time.
If people were out by the fireplace they would let us stay out there with the fire burning and not rush them to leave.
The front desk staff would give extra towels and soap if needed. Bath soap was cute, but too small. They need to replenish the soap, location and other dispensers in the room.
- Danielle (6/5): - Pool closed at 8pm, that was early. Hallways and lobby were hot and had a moldy smell. The rooms were a decent size and clean. Shower water pressure was lacking.
- fwhamba (10/5): - It was a convenient place to explore .
- juan (10/5): - Very nice
- Alexandria (8/5): - Clean hotel but nothing to walk to or to feel good walking outside. And we had no toilet paper with a toilet that constantly ran
- Kim (2/5): Very poor - Pictures don’t represent the actual hotel Old and smelly
- Julie (2/5): - We had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable stay at this property. Our room was truly unacceptable from the moment we walked in. The sofa was visibly stained with what appeared to be dog urine, and there were what looked like blood stains on the lamp—completely unsanitary and disturbing. I’ve included photos for reference because this level of neglect is inexcusable.
To make matters worse, we were placed in a ground-floor room, and all night long, people were congregating in the parking lot directly outside our window, talking loudly well into the early morning hours. There seemed to be no management presence or enforcement of quiet hours.
I understand pet-friendly accommodations and late-night check-ins, but cleanliness and guest safety should never be compromised. This was not just disappointing—it was unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses both the cleanliness standards and the lack of overnight supervision on the property.
- Derrieus (10/5): - They were great
- Yanara (10/5): - Muy bonita, limpia acogedora tranquila. El personal súper amable y atento,Super recomendable
- Carlos (6/5): - The sink drain did not work properly so the water would not go down. The air conditioning in the room also did not work correctly.
- Elyse (8/5): - Close to Key Largo and quick access.
- Knight (5/5): Passable -
- Lesley (8/5): - The rooms were very spacious and clean!
- Ryan (10/5): - Staff was great!
- Jennifer (6/5): - Quiet and clean room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was just meh. Slightly sketchy area (I arrived late at night) but safe.
- Greg (10/5): - Would like a few more options at breakfast
- Pedro (6/5): Not so good - Not so good, one of the older Home 2Suites we’ve stayed in. Wallpaper peeling in the bathroom. Burnt orange paint in hallways was uninviting and scratched up.
We left prescriptions in a drawer and haven’t heard from management.
- Idamaris (8/5): - La empleada del counter que nos recibio en el check in , no era amable ni una sonrisa nos dio . Todo lo opuesto al muchacho del check out muy amable y simpatico. El trato al huesped es muy importante .
- Ronald (10/5): Good experience - Consistency between different locations. We stayed at 3 different locations and all where good.
- Dee (10/5): - Nice place
- Angela (10/5): - Loved the location for easy access to Everglades and Biscayne parks, the Keys, and plenty of dining options close enough to walk. Staff were friendly. Computers didn’t work, which was a problem for my college student. Breakfast was good, but protein choices were limited and we didn’t like the taco flavored sausage. Overall, we were very happy there.
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Leonard (10/5): - Comfortable room
- mehzbeen (2/5): - Stayed few days in the accessible room.
The shower ramp is very dangerous, it gets slippery when wet after a shower, I slipped and I was bruised for a week.
Filed a accident report, no one from the hotel checked in on our stay, contacted Hilton, they pushed the report to the hotel, hotel came back with this- We do have your report on file, and it was noted on our system. Please note that our accessible rooms are built according to ADA Standards and Guidelines.
If you happen to visit Florida City in the future, please let us know so we can provide you with a better experience next time.
I won’t recommend this rooms shower to a wheelchair person and their family members as they could get hurt.
- Laura (7/5): Good -
- Jenny (4/5): - Booked a one room suite (with separate bedroom) they didn't have any when we checked in. Going out at night for food there were not a lot of options and I didn't feel very safe.
- Jenny (4/5): - Made a reservation for a one bedroom king suite and they didn't have any when we checked in. After dark we went to look for something to eat, nothing open and what was open I felt very unsafe.
- Michele (1/5): Bad - Location Ac in room
Toilet was broken
Smelled like dog
Breakfast wasn’t the best
- Mary (10/5): Convenient location, nice stay - Well located for restaurants and businesses nearby and for exploring national parks.
- Victoria (6/5): - It did what it had to. Kept us safe and gave us a bed to sleep in. However it is very run down and needs plenty of remodeling. Not worth the price we paid for it. They also had construction going through nights on the floor we were on, limiting sleep. The staff was helpful but I would not stay there again.
- James (10/5): - I was a nice stay
- Omar (10/5): Exceptional -
