Our valet attendant, Ronnie P., provided exceptional service every time—professional, friendly, and consistently reliable. He truly made our stay more convenient and enjoyable.

• c (4/5): It could of been better. - I really liked the food. It was very delicious. The view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was really nice, but a little confusing. I didn't like how it was only two entrances. The hotel allowed pets and was pet friendly but it wasn't designed for pets in mind. It was very difficult to walk our pets with only there being one entrances which is the main busy lobby. We didn't like that the drive way was very small and the parking area was separated and felt like it was handicapped friendly. The room was clean, however all our pillows had visible stains on them that were unappealing but I did let the hotel staff know and gave them photos. And was luckily glad we had brought our own blanket and pillows. We also had a few problems with pricing issues. We weren't aware of all the fees when we first got there even though we paid our booking in advance. And feel like there still errors with the fees that still need to be addressed.

• 586dlf (2/5): We were scheduled for four nights and changed hotels after one - Words cannot express how miserable this hotel is - we stayed here 3 years ago and it was nice, I’m not sure what happened. We are gold members (should account for something?) but were treated terribly AND it was Easter Sunday! Breakfast ends at 11a, my husband arrived at 11:04 (no exaggerating) and they wouldn’t even let him grab a cup of coffee. There’s so much more- we switched hotels after on night when we were scheduled for four. I’m so glad we switched to a hotel where we’re valued.

• 622jenniferv (6/5): The pool is too cold! - Our stay at this hotel was overall good. We’ve stayed here before. We’re locals to the Hampton Roads area, but decided to book a mini getaway to relax, dine, and enjoy the pool. We chose this hotel again because during our previous stay (a few years ago), the pool was very warm. Unfortunately, this time the pool was very cold, only 79°F, so we didn’t swim. That completely ruined our plans to enjoy it!! We also noticed many other guests tried to use the pool but got out within minutes. Please bring the warm temperatures back! Because of this, we likely won’t be staying here again! We also bought chips from the pantry, but didn’t realize they were expired until we got back to our room. We had to go back down for a refund, and the staff found that many of the chips were expired… some by one to two months. Also, the nearby parking garage for Hilton guests requires a QR code, so make sure to get it from the front desk before leaving.

Overall the service from everyone was great. Front desk was very welcoming, restaurant service was awesome, cleaning crew was very pleasant. I hope everyone who visits this hotel has the same experience that I've had.

• F4607OTchristinew (10/5): Girls weekend at Virginia Beach - Great experience at this hotel. This was our annual Shamrock 8k and girls weekend. We enjoyed the restaurant and concierge service. Hotel staff was spectacular, especially Ronny, who assisted with our vehicles and made it easy for us to get our car and get us on the road as quickly as possible in the morning.

• MacroNicole (4/5): Disappointing stay - We stayed here in July and the room was a total disappointment for a Hilton property. The hook in the bathroom was literally hanging off the wall when we checked in. After calling the front desk and complaining they did send a tech in to fix it. He then left screws on the counter for the two day duration of our stay. Then when my kids and I went down to the beach I checked the door and the door did not lock or latch properly. Literally you could push on the door and it would swing right open. We went to the desk to address this issue, were told a tech would come up and fix it. Did not happen. We ended up complaining THREE times about the door and no one ever came to fix it. That is a safety hazard! Literally anyone walking by could enter our room! All they had to do was push and viola! Full access to our room and belongings. After complaining multiple times and informing the desk staff about all this they did nothing. Not even throw us a few hundred Hilton honors points. They did NOTHING. Not even an apology. Very disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend this Hilton.

Ronnie, one of the managers, was usually the first face I saw in the morning and the last one in the evening. So pleasant and always will to help. However, the parking was $20 per night. I feel like the rate they charge, the parking should be free.
• O8886JHkimg (10/5): Nice stay - Spent 2 nights here with family to attend the Coastal Wine Fest. The rooms are very nice. Nice area to sit in to talk, sip some wine. The beds are comfortable, bathroom has a large shower stall with sliding doors. It was easy to get in and out which is appreciated as we both suffer with arthritis. They offer valet parking and they were all very nice to deal with. A very comfortable stay, quiet over all despite a Polar Bear Plunge was taking place over the weekend.

I used to come here a lot between 3-5 years ago. Room was disappointingly small- painting look cheap, uncomfortable beds, lots of sand on floor when we got there, old utilities like fridge and microwave, small porch, small pool area with no ability to sit since it was full. Third floor outside seating was less than glamorous- rusty stained floors, old lounge chair cushions and no couches like it used to have. The hotel looks like it’s aged and not kept up. Use to get seating on the beach for free if you came at a certain time and now it’s ridiculously over priced- $125 for a cabana is ridiculous! Also, the elevators are rickity and seem like they need to be updated.

Friendly staff and dog friendly VERY VERY Dusty appliances in room, phone messed up in room, called to check up on us and told them we needed towels and they never brought them to us, stopped up sink in bathroom. I just got tired of calling and telling them issues so we dealt with it. Being at the Hilton and paying THAT MUCH MONEY you would expect better. Smh and then charging for breakfast. After the rate was high enough. You really just getting a basic room. The area is not out of town attractive. Just a bunch of old hotels, and small shops n houses. I won’t stay here again.

They have the best service, employees are so friendly and helpful. Ronnie, our valet gentleman was spot on the whole time! • Trip54069907136 (2/5): Front desk clerk needs to be more friendly - The gentleman behind the front desk was wearing an Applebee's shirt, hair pick in his hair, not a friendly person at all. Asked a few questions about places to eat he had no idea. When giving key to the room he just tossed it down on the counter. No greeting from this person at all. Very rude. After taking our luggage to the room and leaving to go find a place to eat this same front desk clerk was checking in a black couple and he was smiling and talking and directing them to the elevator. I suppose this person has a problem with white people. What a shame, I would have given a better rating, this type of interaction is a Don't stay here review. The next morning we went for a walk in the beach and the young lady at the desk was no better. Upon our departure from the hotel a gentleman standing by the elevator in a chef jacket said good morning to us. WOW! The only person who spoke. If you are going to be in the hospitality business you need to have better people working the front desk.

• kristabG655GE (2/5): Customer Service is Subpar - We stayed from Sunday to Wednesday. When we got to our next destination, I realized that I had left 2 pillows behind at this hotel. I called every day to inquire about getting my items shipped to me. I left voicemails for the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Manager on Duty and the General Manager. Have any of them returned my calls? NO. I spoke to a front desk employee who kept me on hold for 15 minutes only to ask me to call back before her shift ended at 3pm. I called back and had to leave a message b/c she “was in a meeting.” I also spoke o someone who promised to call me back with an update but never received the promised call back. I understand that my lost items may not be important to them, but it is important to me. So I am giving this hotel 1 star b/c their customer service is subpar. I have worked in hotels so I know how important exemplary customer service is.

Ronnie not only took great care of our new purchase, but was kind, friendly and very attentive!!! He was very professional and helpful!!! Also, the restaurant staff was awesome and the food never disappoints. We gave 4 stars for our room. It was in need of updating. Didn’t really mind because we weren’t in the room that much.

• Margo (8/5): - Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff. Our only complaint was that the pool heater was not turned on and therefore it was way too cold to swim in the indoor or outdoor pool. I was also really looking forward to enjoying the sundeck but they had it closed starting Friday morning all the way to Sunday morning for a wedding that took place sometime Sunday where only maybe half of it was used. I think it would be beneficial to adjust set up times that allow guest to still enjoy that immenity sometime during the weekend.

The food is decent. The bar is great. Beach access is literally a step outside. Overall this was a very pleasant stay and I hope the conference is held here next year. I want to take the fam here for beach trip next year. Very reasonable rates.
• Damien (6/5): - Great places to eat within walking distance. The beach views were very nice. I wasn’t too Impressed with the friendliness of staff. I had to go to the front desk for an issue, the lady there was doing something on the computer and never even acknowledged me. Finally another worker came up and offered to help. The beds in the room were so hard that I had to sleep with pillows under me(I understand this is a matter of preference). The AC unit in the room was so loud it sounded like a jet getting ready to take off every time is turned on. I didn’t sleep well due to waking up each time the AC came on. They charge a parking fee, however the parking garage elevator was down the entire time causing us to have to walk up 5-6 flights of steps each time unless we wanted to pay extra for a valet. I witnessed several families have to walk the ramp up 5 stories with a stroller because they couldn’t take the elevator and couldn’t navigate the steps with a stroller. I don’t think I’d choose this hotel to stay at again.

• Melissa (8/5): - The room had a great view. Beds were clean and neat, though not the most comfortable. Bathroom cleaning was not completely thourough. The parking deck only allowed Valet parking on the first two levels and the elevator was out of order, so that was rather inconvenient. Parking was not included in the price of the room either, so that was an extra charge. Overall we had a decent stay, but there is certainly room for improvement.

• Melanie (10/5): - Perfect location, straight onto the beach, plenty of nice places to sit and read. I highly recommend the 3rd floor with easy access to the large sun deck. À great place to watch the sunrise. Lagerheads restaurant has delicious beach food, and many other great places in walking distance. I’ve peeked in at the other nearby Hilton properties and this one has the best combination of amenities for us.
