• Dean (5/5): I expected lower quality, as the price was on the low side ,but no TV . There is no excuse for that - I think my neighbor right next to me in the building is a full time resident?? Anyway who ever it was had there TV turned up all night and there is next to no sound deadening between rooms . But what pissed me of was there was no TV in my room at all !!! There was a TV stand wuth a remote on it but no TV . So I had to listen to what ever the neighbor was watching all night .

• Marni (5/5): - It was ok. Staff was very nice. Beds were clean that was my main concern. Quiet location. Not a terrable location. Walking distance to essential stores. Rooms could of been cleaner. The air conditioner in are room was very loud. I know they were in the process of redoing all the rooms. Expensive for what you got.
• Cathy (5/5): - The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet room. This motel needs a renovation. It is an old building, you can tell as soon as you walk in the door. Mismatched carpet, old tiles and cupboards in the kitchen. The room needed to be painted. You could see where the ceiling had been leaking and sort of fixed. I won't stay here again. The photos they show don't represent the room I was in.

Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t as clean as expected — we had to clean the floor, toilet, and shower ourselves. Also, it was very noisy because of the old air conditioner.

• Shajan (2/5): Overall, it was a bad experience. Motel or not, proper maintenance is the bare minimum guests expect - We booked without breakfast. So, that question is irrelevant. Bed was comfy. Parking was good. Washroom was good. The day after our stay, the owner specifically asked me not to leave a review on Booking.com and offered a complimentary stay next time—which I obviously won’t be taking. That request alone made me feel I should leave a review. Otherwise, I would have left a balanced one. Now to the actual experience: The bathroom drainage was poor—water wouldn’t go down after a shower. Only small shampoo packets were provided instead of a proper bottle. There were visible cracks around the bathtub area. The cabinet door under the kitchen sink wouldn’t close. We found multiple bugs in the room—including bedbugs. One unknown type even bit both me and my wife, and almost got our toddler. Several lights and lamps didn’t work, and we couldn’t turn on the TV. The kitchen exhaust fan was unsafe to use—no knob to operate it, and touching the internal part felt risky, potentially causing an electric shock. The main door's security was substandard—there was no latch or chain lock. The air conditioner setup was dangerous; the plug was hanging loose with no holder, which posed another safety concern. Booking experience was equally frustrating. I booked the room same-day and called ahead because I was running late. Without even checking my reservation, the owner claimed there was no booking under my name and insisted, "I’m trying to help you." After 10 minutes, he called back saying my credit card had been declined and asked for another card. I explained that I had plenty of balance and had already received a Booking.com confirmation. He kept repeating that the system wouldn’t accept same-day bookings late at night. I was driving on a dark road around 10 PM during this conversation—highly unsafe to be dealing with card issues then. Eventually, he confirmed the booking had gone through. He also said, "This is a motel, not a hotel,"—but when booking through a third-party app, that shouldn’t compromise basic standards. Overall, it was a bad experience.

• Morris (3/5): The hotel was Dingy and I felt as though I was staying in a skid row room in downtown vancouver - The didn't offer breakfast. I put my coat down on the back of a chair then when I picked my coat up there was drywall dust all over my coat. They must just patched holes and sanded but never cleaned up afterwards. There was white drywall dust all over,and a big gap under the door with cold air coming in.

Would stay again. Lots of amenities around it for food and drink. There wasn't anything I didn't like about the place.

• Louise (6/5): You get what you pay for. - The place is old. It was value for money. It was hot but the little air conditioner worked amazing. All I would say is that they could have dusted the blinds. Perfect spot to get to the channel. Their sign board said clean. The beds were clean but the blinds were dusty and we found old cake on the floor

Stains on carpet. Scared to use outside stairs, they consisted of cracking weathered plywood. Lot of homeless in area - well they couldn't help that. Most cheerful room was bathroom, with a view of mountains outside of small window.

• Shirley (9/5): Good for the night - The building itself is an older building and could use some upgrades but my room was exceptionally clean and that is a very important feature for me. The counter personnel that I dealt with was very pleasant.. I was there only for the one night and it was pleasant enough and very quiet. The only thing I would say I didn't like was the air conditioning unit. I was grateful for the coolness in my room as it was a hot day but when I retired to bed I had to turn it off because it was very very noisy.

I was on foot and although there were some places to eat nearby, the grocery stores were a little further than I would have liked. Also it was a very hot day and the AC was a bit loud, but at least it was cold!

The rooms are old, very dirty, there are insects...ie - I watched them crawl from under the bath tub, which is not properly sealed at the bottom. Dust on the lamps, stained floors, the doors were dirty, there was guck piled up in the corners on the floor. The bath tub hasn't been fully clean in years. The shower water was either freezing or scalding hot. The bathroom sink water was scalding hot. The internet barely worked. Some very amateur repair work in the rooms. This place needs some attention and work.

Old motel, hasn’t been updated. Carpets were dirty. Sketchy people staying there. It was just a place to crash out of necessity.
