What really made our experience special was the exceptional and refreshing service from the staff. They were kind, in the most authentic way. One of the staff even noticed I was cold and provided me with cozy blankets at dinner without me having to ask - it was such a thoughtful touch. To be honest there are many places to stay in Santorini that have a great views, but the wonderful staff will keep me a canaves guest going forward.

We even received a complimentary upgrade from a jacuzzi room to a plunge pool room! I wish I could give this hotel and the staff more stars!!

- michele (10/5): - This was probably the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The suite was spacious, spotless and appeared to recently updated. The terrace was huge and well appointed and the plunge pool comfortable and clean. The view was the shining star. We were on the top level so no one was peering down on our terrace so we had ample privacy while still being the the thick of it. Service and food were amazing. I can't recommend it strongly enough. Go, stay and luxuriate in one of Santorini's best offerings.

- Charles (10/5): - The Canaves Oia Suites was the most complete hotel and dining experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. The views from your veranda are absolutely breathtaking. The bottle of wine in your room was a nice touch. The pool area was a great spot to relax and enjoy the views, as well as to enjoy an amazing breakfast or dinner. The entire staff was exceptional. They secured dinner reservations, ATV rentals, massages, etc. The level of service exceeded my expectations.

Besides the out of this world accommodation, the staff and service, we’re phenomenal!!! They were not only professional, but very warm and welcoming. - Danyell (8/5): Beautiful location - Great location. Beautiful hotel and views. Food was pretty good. Tad bit salty than I like ,and I love salt ! Our river pool room was very nice and clean. Only complaint was when we called in the evening to ask to heat the plunge pool they said the maintence ppl had gone home already and even if they could find someone it would take 5 hours to heat. A little disappointed we didn't get to use a heated plunge pool . Also our TV didn't work which wasn't too big of a deal I just like to watch tv when I fall asleep. When I called that night they said it was connectivity issues and that our TV might not be able to connect to the internet. Again, for a room pushing 2k a night I expected a working televison. Other than that our stay was great! Would stay here on our next trip but I would just make sure that everything was in order before settling in.
- KADIAN (10/5): Wow! Just Wow! - Wow! Wow is all I can really say. These guys went above and beyond. They thought of every single detail. There is absolutely nothing I can even begin to complain about. My stay was so perfect that I'll be booking again the next time I'm in Santorini!
- Manuel (10/5): Unbelievable service! - The superior rooms were reasonably sized, clean and quaint with great views. The plunge pool was a disappointment as all it truly was… is a jacuzzi tub that was very warm and unusable in July-Aug heat. The service though, the absolute best. Everyone is so accommodating and helped us in so many ways from securing a wonderful sunset yacht cruise, to private Transportation and rental car reservations. The food is very modern, so if you’re expecting traditional Greek cuisine, you won’t find it here. But it’s very good. The views and pools were fantastic, of course.
- Tanya (10/5): AMAZING VIEWS! - WOW, we had an amazing stay at Canaves Oia suites. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Complementary breakfast each morning was delicious. Staff was very helpful and set up an island tour for us. The location is great, walking distance to shopping and dinning. My only complaint was that the pillows were a little hard for my liking. Everything else was perfect. I would stay here again and again!

- Ursela (8/5): - Staff very nice! Only thing they rush you out for check out is at 12 and they came at 11:45am while eating. Also got us ferry tickets to Mykonos but forgot to give it to us so when we got to ferry we had to buy new ones we will contact hotel tomorrow! I suggest just getting transportation and buying them at ferry office. One thing I would suggest in shower have hooks for towels to hang in shower the honeymoon suite! Everything else was excellent!
- Thomas (10/5): Incredible hotel with perfect staff and views - The Canaves is an incredible hotel. The staff is wonderful, the location is Oia is unbeatable and the views are breathtaking. We were lucky enough to spend 4 nights here in early September. The weather was perfect every day and led to an incredible sunset every evening. Oia gets very busy for sunset, but we enjoyed a private viewing each night from the quiet comfort of the hotel. Every room has a terrific balcony and a breathtaking view. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to our requests. They even helped plan out dinner reservations, a sunset cruise, local taxis and a mini adventure one afternoon. We'd stay here again without a doubt.

- David (10/5): - Beautiful hotel on a magnificent locations. Views are stunning! The staff on every level were kind and went out of their way to ensure the guests had an enjoyable stay. The only caution would be to note there are a lot of steep stairs - anyone with any mobility issues shoukd be aware. Otherwise a 5 star experience

- Mary (10/5): Beautiful view - Such a pretty hotel. Every room has a stunning view. We had a nice hot tub at our room. The room was perfect. We had such a nice breeze in the windows. Both pools were very refreshing with great view. The jasmine was a great idea as the scent carried. The staff was super attentive. Thank goodness for a luggage carrier because of the steps. There is also an elevator. Breakfast was perfect every morning. The hotel can also take care of any travel or tours or taxi for you. It’s right on the end of the pedestrian street so you can be picked up right outside hotel but good for walking

My girlfriend and I were celebrating our engagement and the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, including providing a welcome bottle of wine. The service was beyond compare. We had booked events and tours in advance outside of the hotel's normal booking process and the hotel staff automatically called to confirm our reservations and direct us where to meet our rides for tour pick-up. We would recommend the hotel for anyone for the amazing service, comfort, and beauty. Unparalleled experience.

Waking up every morning to breathtaking water views and eating breakfast brought up to our private balcony are the things we will miss most. The staff were all excellent as well and went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant and memorable.
- Cheryl (10/5): Luxury hotel with scenic views - Canaves Oia Suites was exceptional in every way. It is a beautiful hotel with scenery from the Santorini cliff side that is a slice of heaven. You can totally relax and be at peace here. The staff is fantastic and catered to our needs including great restaurant recommendations, reservations, transportation and arranged a private tour of Akrotiri with an archeologist. Food at hotel was wonderful.
- Monte (10/5): - The staff at this hotel was extremely accommodating and really helped us enjoy our stay even more Especially Katrina and Jorge at the reception. A big thank you to both and also Rose was exceptional to help us every morning with our breakfast. Hotel should offer complementary shuttle service within a 20 minute range. Otherwise it ends up costing you another €50-€60 to go round trip to a restaurant that is not within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel also does Not offer complementary pick up from the airport which for the room prices should certainly be included. Overall we would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to go see and stay in Santorini. The catamaran tour around the islands is also very much worth your while but make sure not to get on one that holds more than 20 people capacity
- Danny (10/5): Best hotel ever is an understatement - AMAZING. The stay here had exceeded expectation greatly. From the genuine friendliness of the staff, the design of the premise, stunning view, location, and the upgrade to the honeymoon suite was unbelievable. This is definitely the best hotel I have stayed at in my 40 years of existence so far. The team and especially the gentleman at the reception whose name I have forgotten made the whole stay an unforgettable experience which I will hold dearly for the rest of my life.
