- Daniel (6/5): Average- disappointed based on the price paid and the poor experiences - Food was nice and the all inclusive nature of the resort made things easy We turned up after messaging if our room was ready early as transferring from another 5 star hotel and told yes, so got a taxi to arrive and find it was not, so put in another lower graded room. This was at midday, we didn’t get into our actual room until past 6pm as they allowed the previous guest to check out at 4pm, despite our paid and booked check in time being 3pm- there was little care for this inconvenience. The gym on site is in a terrible condition, damaged equipment, rusty, poor air con- definitely not a 5 star resort like Ammades all suites where we had come from- would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice gym. Some of the entertainment was a bit low ball, and generally the resort was packed with guests. Luckily we had a private pool royal suite, but if you’re looking for the peace and standards of a 5 star, this is not it, very disappointing. It’s probably more aligned to a mid range 4 star package hotel type report.

Selection of food was brilliant for value of money. Location wasn’t great for getting out, not a lot close by but not that the hotel can do much about that! More options at the reception bar for drinks. Main evening bar was very small, not big enough for the hotel guests. Male manager in main restaurant was very rude and unfriendly. Sauna was not included in stay had to pay which was disappointing as didn’t know in advance.

- teneran (8/5): Wonderful Stay at Kresten Royal - We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Kresten Royal Euphoria Resort. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Private Pool. The cleanliness of the room, the resort and facilities were great. We mainly used the main Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and evening meal and the food was always excellent and the choices amazing with something for everyone. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, our room was kept spotless and all the staff and cooks in the main restaurant worked extremely hard. A special mention must go to Argiro and Stergias who made our holiday extra special and memorable.

- davidbJ3236VI (10/5): Lovely holiday at Kresten Royal hotel - My wife and I have just returned from the Kresten Royal and had a truly wonderful holiday. The hotel is ideally located, just a short drive from the airport and close to Rhodes Town. There are also a few local bars within walking distance. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade to a junior suite with a sea view. It was a lovely gesture and really set the tone for our stay. As we arrived just before midnight, we were driven to our room in a large golf buggy, a thoughtful touch, as we would have struggled to find it in the dark otherwise. The hotel itself is spotless. The cleaning team clearly work tirelessly to maintain such high standards. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and welcoming, no matter where we went. One thing we particularly appreciated was the relaxed vibe around the pool area, there was no need to rush out early in the morning to claim a sunbed. No matter what time we arrived, there were always plenty available, which made our days by the pool much more enjoyable. The food in the main restaurant and pool bar was good, with a nice variety that changed daily. Our only small suggestion would be for the food to be served hotter, which would have made the experience even better. We’d also like to give a few special mentions: Pool Bar: Tea and Kostas were incredibly friendly and a pleasure to chat with. Main Bar: George and Petros are absolute stars. No matter how busy it got, they served everyone with a smile and such professionalism. Their knowledge of the drinks was impressive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel is very lucky to have them, they really made our holiday memorable. For fun, we even nicknamed George “Naughty George” after he got my wife a little tipsy one evening! All in all, we had a lovely time at the Kresten Royal and would happily return in the future.
- Andrea (10/5): - Guten Tag, wir haben am 20.09.25 gebucht vom 25.09.25 bis 02.10.25. Und es war einfach der Hammer dass wir das beste Zimmer (Aussicht usw.) erhalten haben. Aussicht auf den Hafen von Rhodos, wo wir diverse Kreuzfahrtschiffe auch mit Feldstecher beobachten konnten. Da wir einen Privaten Pool hatten konnten wir uns sehr gut entspannen und das Essen war auch sehr gut. Wir waren zum 2ten Mal hier und wir wurden gleich wiedererkannt. :-) Und jeden Mittag wurde für uns (wie das letzte Mal) den Tisch im inneren vorne links für uns reserviert. Einfach super klasse dieser Service. Leider konnten wir uns nicht persönlich bei Ihr verabschieden, aber ich hoffe, dass sie das auf diesem Weg so lesen kann. Da wir nur im Zimmer oder im Hotel unterwegs waren, kann ich die Umgebung nicht beurteilen. Wir haben kein Auto gemietet. Sonst einen Transfer in die "Hauptstadt" macht auch keinen Sinn wenn gleich 3 Kreuzfahrtschiffe am Tag und noch weitere Segelschiffe am Hafen andocken um Rhodos zu erkundigen. Pool Top, Personal Top und unser Zimmer ist eh der Hammer. Bitte leitet diese Nachricht an die sehr nette Frau (leider kennen wir Ihren Namen nicht) vom Gaia weiter wo uns wie VIP behandelt hat. - Dana Maree (6/5): - If it wasnt for paying for an upgraded room and having our own pool then we'd properly have had a worse time here. I agree with a lot of the reviews, this is not a 5 star hotel more like 3. Cocktails were absolutely rubbish and just thrown together and tasted horrible! Upon check in we were given zero information and were just handed a map. Prior to our arrival we emailed the hotel asking if we could pay for late check in and they offered us a late check out at 4pm at no extra cost. I asked the guy about our check out time when checking in and all he said was don't worry. 2pm came on our last day and a group of housemaids were knocking and we informed them we have late check out. We then received a phone call stating that we had to leave as new lodgers were waiting and the late check out was based on availability despite having an email clearly stating that we could check out af 4pm. We weren't ready at all to leave as we hadn't quite packed and had just gotten out of a shower so at this point we were rushing. By the time we checked out the staff at the check in desk were pretty unfriendly and it felt like after all the money we had spent for the week were now unwelcome. Horrible! The food was so so average and we dreaded breakfast, lunch and dinner by the third day! Most days were the same food but made differently. The main restaurant staff weren't great either. Forgot our drinks on every sitting.

The location was good and easy to get to Rhodes town. Views were beautiful. A few things: - Lock on the room door was very flimsy and felt unsafe. - food and drinks were just ok. Loads to choose from but not the greatest quality. - staff weren’t always the friendliest but maybe a language barrier. Didn’t explain what is included in our package and their app is outdated where it explains the package. - room was old and there was mould in the bathrooms. - shower gel bottles were broken. We asked to fix it but no one came about. Didn’t bother asking again so just bought what we needed. - we left the towels on the floor once indicating that we would like them changed and by the looks of it, the towels were just folded back in place.

Great service everywhere, nice rooms, very good food and drinks, nice amenities. There were plenty of sunbeds available, even later in the mornings. This resort is very clean and well maintained. Make sure you go to the Aura (Greek) a-la-carte restaurant for dinner. It’s not an adult only resort but it’s a quiet one. They had aqua gym during weekdays but wouldn’t try to convince you to join, which I really appreciated. Special mentions: - Susanna and the buffet manager (sorry I forgot his name): they went above and beyond to ensure we made special memories - Michael Angelo from the spa: he was unbelievably kind and offered my mom one of the best massages she’s had - Alexander: exceptional service at the Aura restaurant and buffet

Customer service was not great and the general manager never called me back to discuss my concerns. Not happy. Also, bring your own iron, as they have only 2(!) irons for the whole resort and you can only have it for 15 min or so before they take it back!

Les serviettes dans les chambres ne sont pas propres (décidément ils ont un problème avec les serviettes). Le fer à repasser est à louer… Le personnel est vraiment incompétent. Des fourmis dans les chambres. Pas de télévision en face du lit (ils ont ramené une petite télé).

From the moment we checked in, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier – everyone greeted us with a smile and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. That welcoming atmosphere really set the tone for the whole stay. The rooms were modern, spacious, and kept spotlessly clean every day. We had a great night’s sleep thanks to the comfortable beds and quiet surroundings. Around the hotel, everything was well maintained, from the pools to the gardens, and it all felt very relaxing. The food was outstanding. Breakfasts had plenty of choice, from fresh fruit to cooked options, and dinners were even better – lots of variety, high quality, and beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed a meal in the à la carte restaurant, which we booked beforehand online through the hotel’s app. It was a lovely experience and well worth doing. The restaurant service overall was excellent, with staff always attentive but never intrusive. Several people deserve a special mention; Susanna, the office manager, was absolutely outstanding – professional, warm, and always ready to help. Stayros at reception was a real credit to the hotel, friendly and efficient every time we saw him. Stergia, one of the waitresses, kindly went off and found me some milk so I could pop it into a container for my son – such a thoughtful gesture. And the champagne bartender, Panayiota, was exceptional – always cheerful and serving with real flair, she made our evenings extra special. This trip was particularly meaningful as we were celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. The kindness and attention from the staff helped make it truly memorable, and we created some very special memories together that we’ll always treasure. The location is unbeatable. The hotel sits right on a lovely beach, perfect for swimming or just relaxing with the view. It’s also in a great spot for exploring Rhodes, with easy transport links ( bus or taxi) if you want to get out and see more of the island. One helpful tip – take some beach shoes, as the beach is a little bit rocky. They make it much easier and more comfortable to swim out to sea. Overall, the hotel offered superb value for money. With the warm service, delicious food, and incredible setting, it really exceeded our expectations. We left feeling refreshed, grateful for the memories, and already talking about when we might come back. Highly recommended.

La pataugeoire pour les petits est très appréciable. Le buffet est varié et toujours de très bonne qualité. Notre chambre était grande et très propre. Séjour parfait! Le seul petit point négatif, c'était la "vue sur mer" depuis la chambre qui n'en était pas vraiment une. Mais par contre la situation de la chambre était parfaite avec la proximité des commodités (piscine-bar-restaurant). Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un magnifique séjour.
- Fabio (6/5): - Wir waren 8 Tage im Kresten Royale Euphoria Resort. Rundum würden wir dem Gesamtaufenthalt eine 7/10 geben. Das Hotel an sich ist super schön und groß und es fehlt an nichts. Zum entspannen super geeignet es liegt auch gut legen mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten in Faliraki und in 15 Minuten in Rhodos Stadt. Thema Service: von super gut bis schlecht leider alles dabei. Die Jungs und Mädels an der Poolbar waren immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit 10/10! Was ich leider für ein 5-Sterne Hotel ganz ganz schwach finde dass es am Pool keine Bedienung gibt und man seine Getränke selbst holen muss. Ich war schon in vielen 5* Hotels und so kenne ich das leider garnicht. Service beim Frühstück und Abendessen war leider nicht sehr gut. Morgens und abends wird man an den Platz geführt und wird nicht gefragt ob man was trinken möchte. Für ein 5* Hotel leider schwach. Thema Sauberkeit: Wem eine frische Flasche Wasser, ein gemachtes Bett und frische Handtücher (mit teilweise Flecken) reichen ist hier gut bedient. Mehr muss man sich nicht erhoffen. Der selbe Dreck auf dem Balkon als auch im Bad lag von Tag 1 bis zum Ende an der exakt gleichen Stelle. Für ein 5* selbst ernanntes „Luxury Resort“ absolut beschämend. Thema Essen: Das Essen ist solide bis gut wie es eben in All-In Hotels so ist. Uns hat es größtenteils gefallen und es gab gute Auswahl. Es gibt drei Themenrestaurants die man am besten an Tag 1 reservieren muss da es sonst keinen Platz mehr gibt
- avrham (1/5): The hotel has a beautiful location and unique beach, but the poor room conditions and disappointing - The location of the hotel was excellent. The beachfront is very unique and beautiful, and being right by the sea was the highlight of our stay. We booked six rooms (five standard sea-view rooms and one suite with a pool), but the experience was far from what we expected. At check-in, the receptionist presented it as if we were all placed together with a shared pool, which sounded great—but when we arrived at the rooms, it was a different story. The staircase leading down was very dark, without an elevator, and had an unpleasant smell. Inside the rooms, there was a very strong odor of mold, no real lighting, and no sea view at all (despite what was promised). When we asked about it, the receptionist claimed it was a “partial sea view,” which was never mentioned anywhere—and in reality, there was no view at all. Only the next day were we moved to different rooms. On top of this, service was consistently dismissive, with every request answered by “we’ll try.” The rooms were not cleaned properly, towels in the standard rooms were of very low quality, and overall, the service was unfriendly.

Wir hatten Zimmer mit privatem Pool, Wasser sauber, tiefe ca. 1.4m, Strand mit kleine Bucht war schön, klares Wasser, weil kein Sand. Die Erwartungen wurden erfüllt zu diesem Aktionspreis. Lobby Bar super und das ganze Personal freundlich. Sauberkeit der Zimmer innen und aussen könnte besser sein, Matratzen eher alt und durchgelegen, dafür schön weich. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zum Normalpreis (Direktbuchung auf Hotelseite, 4 Wochen vor den Ferien) zu teuer.

- Jonathan (10/5): - WoW simply WoW! We have just returned home from staying at the Kresten Royal Euphoria Resort. We’ve had an absolutely wonderful time. The whole experience of staying here at Kresten Royal in Rhodes was just so perfect. From start to finish the staff couldn’t do more for us. The hotel was amazing, it has everything you could ever ask for. Beautiful spotlessly clean illuminated pools. Bars with a fantastic drinks selection, restaurants serving outstanding delicious food. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding for service and selection of food, from fresh fruit, eggs however you like them, meats, salmon, fresh pastries and bread, fresh pancakes cooked right before you eyes, cheeses galore etc etc. An amazing amphitheatre for entertainment virtually every night. A private beach with sun loungers to access a small enclosed cove to swim and snorkel and venture out into the crystal clear sea, or to just dip your feet into to cool down. We were lucky enough to book a Junior Suit with our very own private Pool that was out of this world to jump into whenever we fancied cooling off, great for a midnight dip after visiting the Beautiful Old Town of Rhodes which is only a 10 minute taxi ride to some delicious restaurants. I’d highly recommend Romeo’s for a complete Greek atmosphere including smashing your very own plates Greek style. Or if you fancy a fine dinning experience I’d highly recommend Marco Polos Mansion, a simply delicious experience. I’ll be back soon. Johnny

Der var stor variation i maden og det var også muligt at bestille bord på to andre restauranter i hotellet, som serverede 3 retters menu. Værelset var virkelig stort og rummeligt. Ved vores ankomst blev vi opgraderet til et værelse med privat pool og det var skønt at stå op og hoppe i poolen.

- anouskar646 (6/5): - Review of Kresten Royal Hotel, Rhodes (June 27 – July 8) The Kresten Royal Hotel is undeniably beautiful — the grounds, the buildings, and the overall look and feel of the place really do live up to its 5-star rating in terms of appearance. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and visually impressive. However, for what’s advertised as a 5-star experience, there were some disappointments. On arrival, we were charged an additional €150, which wasn’t clearly explained upfront. The biggest letdown was the food — the selection was limited in both the bars and the main restaurant, and unfortunately, none of the food was served hot. At best, it was lukewarm. Honestly, I’ve had better dining experiences in 3-star hotels. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. Just be aware that the hotel is quite isolated — there are no shops nearby, so you’ll need to use transport if you want to explore the area or pick up essentials. Overall, a visually stunning hotel with great staff, but the food and location were underwhelming for the 5-star price tag.

- 867rubyo (10/5): Gorgeous break - Me and my partner have just spent a week here and i cannot fault the hotel at all. We were concerned about the bad reviews that have been posted on here but i cannot relate to any of them. Room was lovely and cleaned every morning with fresh towels and bedding. Also had our fridge re stocked with water every day. Pool area also very clean, no fighting for sunbeds. Beach was stoney but great for snorkelling and always sunbeds available- just make sure you have sea shoes. We ate both at the pool bar and buffet restaurant. All food was fresh, hot and a good variety. There is ice cream out all day every day for you to have whenever you want. The 4pm crepes were a very good afternoon snack. The choice of drinks included in the all inclusive is very good and drinks aren’t watered down. Reception team were very helpful in booking us taxis/reaervations. Honestly cannot fault the hotel at all, please don’t let these anonymous bad reviews put you off!!

- judew817 (10/5): Kristen Royal Euphoria Resort - I visited the resort for a week with a group of six long term friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We had a wonderful stay. The staff from start to finish were so friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurants were delicious with a good variety of food, and there was plenty of it. The staff in the restaurants were excellent. The bar staff again were so welcoming and friendly, and were happy to make you any drink, and soon remembered our rounds! 😄 All the facilities were of excellent quality and the rooms were big with a large balcony. The swimming pools were so picturesque, clean and lovely to swim in. The gym , yoga and spa facilities were excellent too. Myself and my friends had a wonderful week, we have left feeling relaxed and with a deeper friendship than when we started, thanks to our stay at the Kristen Royal Euphoria Resort. I would definitely recommend this resort and I would certainly visit again. Thank you

The food is to an excellent standard with something for everyone. I love a beach and especially swimming in the sea, and although I knew about the rocky beach I wasn’t expecting it to be so tricky to navigate in for a swim. Hence, we spent all our days around the fabulous salt water pool. We had a junior sea view room: 320. It was huge and the sea view was spectacular. If you won’t miss a typical beach, don’t hesitate to book! P.S the violinist act was en point and definitely one to watch!

- C8104FLjohnf (10/5): Great Time - Just returned from an 11-night stay and loved it. Overall Hotel: nicely laid out, easy to navigate and spotlessly clean. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas. A couple of pool tables, if that’s your thing. As cat lovers, we were very happy to have friendly feline company! Hotel room: we booked a Superior Double room with sea view- certainly delivered on the view. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom that had a whirlpool bath with shower over. Large sitting area had a TV on adjustable bracket, meaning that it could be moved from the wall and positioned as we liked. This was especially useful as I could use a Fire TV stick and stream Netflix etc. Restaurants & Food: The main restaurant 'GAIA' offered an excellent selection on the buffet, with food constantly being topped up. Great choice with menu changing daily. One of the best hotel buffet restaurants we've seen. The a la carte restaurants were really good, too. On the face of it the menu choice was quite limited (Main- one fish dish, one meat, one vegetarian) but there were 4-5 courses and the quality was again excellent. Terrific service in all restaurants. There is a snack-type restaurant by the main pool, offering gyros, pizza, salads etc and crepes after 4.30 pm. Again, very happy with selection and quality of food. Easy to pop to during the day if sunbathing in that area. There’s also a bar here. Pool areas: The main pool is massive. Loads of sunbeds- wooden with thick mattresses. There are also some thin plastic ones for use in the shallow end of the pool. The smaller pool also enjoys plenty of sun beds- no need to come down at 6.30 to bagsy one! There is another bar here, open 10-6. Well stocked with an excellent bartender. Bars: We mostly used the well-stocked bar by the smaller pool during the day. Manos, the bartender is absolutely top-notch; very personable, efficient and has an excellent taste in music! The main bar can get a little busy in the evening but the bar team managed this brilliantly. A special shout-out to Petros who was very engaging as well as ultra-efficient. A really good guy and, along with Manos, a real credit to Kresten. There is also a champagne bar in the lobby, for those who like a quieter space. Again, well stocked and great service, although not champagne as such! Beach: A short walk to a small pebble beach, set in a lovely little cove. We took water shoes to wear when swimming in the sea; I’d recommend but not necessary. Location: Really pleased with hotel location. There are a few shops and sports bar within a 10-15 minute walk. Rhodes Old Town is only a few miles away and that is well worth a visit- lots of little restaurants, bars and shops in a breathtaking setting. Also well worth visiting the ancient palace- entrance was 10 or 12 euros, which included the separate museum. Faliraki is roughly the same distance away in the opposite direction. There is a regular bus service to Rhodes old town, although taxi fare was only 12-14 euros. As with all hotels, there were one or two things we would have liked but small enough not to be included in a review. Overall we had a brilliant time, all staff were great and it is a hotel we are very likely to return to. Thanks to all who made our stay so good.

The reservation system for other restaurants and services, mostly everything was sold out and we didn’t get a chance to try everything even though we were there for 5 days.
- elisZ3176PW (10/5): Fantastic hotel with great staff, the best place for a family vacation - We just returned from a fantastic family vacation, and I can't express how great our stay was! The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was warm and welcoming from arrival, making us feel right at home. I just wanted to give a special shoutout to the dining room team. Their attentiveness and friendliness added a personal touch to our dining experience. I want to thank Argro for going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot on, and her warm and personal treatment made our mealtime enjoyable. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and we enjoyed spending time at the pool and exploring the local area. Overall, this vacation was one for the books, and we can't wait to return! I would like to highly recommend the stay we have had at this hotel The staff and service absolutely amazing. 1 of the best holiday stays I have had Wanted to especially mention the guys behind the night bar. Petros and George with their team. Funny. Efficient and great with all of the guests. Very good at making cocktails! Day time bar man Manos was an absolute gentleman. Very efficient and funny and made everyone happy even in the spot of rain we had! Dimosh behind the reception - one of the kindest people you ever meet. Excellent relationship and people skills out of this world. Customer relations he was exceptional. Would sort anything out at a drop of a hat. An absolute wonderful place to stay and no complaints. 10 out of 10. Staff certainly make a hotel feel comfortable our family had a wonderful time. Thank you Tom
- Amit (1/5): Terrible and humiliating experience the lowest value I have received for my money in my entire life. - We loved the waitress - she was polite and warm to our girl. We loved the view. The breakfast was good We booked a room with a private pool which was dirty when we arrived. We asked them to come clean it and really after 36 hours someone finally came. The plug in the bathtub was stuck - so we had to call a staff member to fix it. He did fix it in the end, but did not fix or solve the problem and we had to use tweezers to open the cork every time. The place is in no way suitable for families with small children, the whole place is very difficult ups and downs. In order to take children from one side of the hotel you really need a stroller, it's very inconvenient. The beach is not really a private beach. To reach it you have to walk for 5 minutes to a small puddle that connects to the sea and the puddle is also full of rocks.

- Andrea (9/5): Great Holidays - Everything was amazing. The room for four with a private pool was an excellent idea. There were plenty of good options for breakfast, both cold and hot. The snack bar had excellent food for lunch if you didn't want to go to the restaurant. The pool bar served excellent cocktails. The location was near the sea, perfect and safe for kids to snorkel. We went in a family trip to celebrated a birthday and let the hotel know this but they don't have any option for decorated small decorated celebration or any detail for the room except a bottle the champagne. It was poorly.
