- mercedes (10/5): - The room smelled very clean upon entering. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and bright. Toiletries were available and a coffee machine in the room. Dixie at the front office was cheerful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. Waffles, sausage, little omelets and fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice.

- Victor (2/5): - When we showed up to check in the clerk informed me that she would nkt honor the price i was qouted online and instead said it would be an addtional $60 plus tax and a $50 deposit even though i had an out of state license she appeared extreamly intoxicated and had the insde locked when we arrived at 8pm telling me it was for safteybbecause it was a dangerous area. We left and went down the road to a days inn which was a decent price and the staff was extremly friendly.

- Anthony (2/5): - When I arrived early Saturday morning, after traveling 500 miles from the Washington, DC area, no one was present for check-in. There was also a "No Vacancy" sign in the window at the desk clerk's desk. ended up booking a room at the Best Western next door. Fortunately, I did not pay for this room in advance and did not have to dispute the charges on my credit card.
- Kaylee (6/5): - Entrance to property was hard to find. Desk staff was very nice. Room was clean, but not well maintained (peeling paint, non-working lightbulbs, detached baseboard). Was fine for a nights stay when we just needed to sleep and shower.

We were advised that the TV was not working and decided that was okay as we were on the road all day and just wanted to sleep. BUT... The room didn't appear to be cleaned, the commode seat was loose, the lamp next to the bed didn't light, the refinished tub was peeling, there was gum on the couch cushion and the coffee maker didn't have a tray to place the coffee pod. Not a place we will be returning to.

Found dirt under the bed skirt that appeared to be missed during cleaning. Front desk staff very friendly and provided excellent customer service. No breakfast provided; only coffee available.

- Colleen (2/5): Gross! - One step up from a flop house! Room was disgusting. Nothing was plugged in when we arrived. Had to use our cell phones to find the lamps and plugs. TV was unplugged and found the HDMi cable hanging on the floor. Didn't look like this room was expecting guests at all! When the lights came on, it wasn't pretty. Wallpaper was hanging off the wall, tried to move a chair, next to a lamp and the lamp fell over (they used the chair to hold up the lamp)! Bedspread had stains all over it. The bottom trim was hanging off the wall. The bathroom was disgusting. Go to the Dollar Tree and buy a clean bathmat!! Cleanliness did not exist, by looking at the soap dish, doors, floors etc. Their Housekeeping services are either not being paid to clean or just don't give a damn. Photos are proof! What killed us was, we stayed in a Hilton Spark the night before, for almost the same $ as Red Roof charged, but the different in owner pride, in their establishment, was amazing...

No breakfast and the office closes through the nice. Extremely disappointed and disgusted because we normally stay in a red roof inn in Indiana when we visit and it has always been nice until we visited this location.

We would stay there again. We stayed in a La Quinta in Charlotte on the road the night before and it was not as nicely kept and staff not as nice and helpful as Red Roof Inn which surprised me!

- Kappa (10/5): - Had a terrible terrible day hotels I had been to all day had a waiting period of three and 2:00 check out my car was towed last night I have no car right now the money I'm spending to stay in the hotel is the money to get my car out of the shop and I was really frustrated everywhere I went and wanted cash deposit when all I have is my Google pay at right now because all my debit cards were in my vehicle and they told it and my car was told tomorrow but the young lady at this understood she was very nice and they were very helpful and I'm grateful I was able to rest they also had a deposit but they were fortunate enough to allow me to pay with my card as well and not want cash like the other places I am very very grateful I had a really bad day and just the kindness they showed made a difference

Room smelled of smoke though was non-smoking, burn holes in bedding Took photos and returned to desk as I did not want to be charged for damages. He acted surprised but said they had no other available rooms. Morning clerk was very friendly, let me know my concerns were noted and the night clerk is part of owner’s family.

Nope.. cigarette burns in the blankets horrible stains all over the sheets, yellow pillows covered with stained pillow cases that have unknown hair stuck to them. I tried to ask for a room with clean beds and ended up getting a refund.. luckily the front desk employee was helpful in that regard.

The ceiling in the bathroom was dripping water which created a slipping hazard on the tile floor. We only stayed overnight and resumed our travel. I wouldn’t have stayed there longer.
- brian (2/5): - When this property is advertised, it shows that the property is on the inside and it is actually on the outside. It does not have a gym. The beds are single beds and not even queen size or full size. The beds are wrinkled the shower had dirty toothpicks in it and there is water leaking from every air conditioner onto the ground on the second floor which can cause anybody to slip and fall. It was not very clean at all. It was the bare minimum.

It needs some painting outside especially the doors but the bed was comfortable, shower head was very strong and I liked the wood floors as opposed to carpet. Overall it wasn’t bad for the price and no pet deposit. Michelle at the front desk and her male companion were extremely friendly and accommodating, I’d stay there again, it was good for a restful nights sleep while traveling

- Celine (2/5): - The property is in disrepair. We requested a room that was smoke-free and it was permeated with the smell of cigarettes. The pillows were old and all completely different sizes. A King pillow an old flat pillow, one felt like it was falling apart inside. The TV didn't work. There was mop dirt 6” up the bathroom door that happened to be peeling apart.

- Celia (4/5): - The girls checking us in we’re super nice but the rest of the place is super sketchy. The rooms were absolutely disgusting, the floors were sticky the walls were sticky the remote was sticky…. The whole freaking place needs to be condemned. Lol. Aside from the super nice staff it was a nightmare.

- Justin (2/5): Disappointed. - To start, I had to wake the attendant up to check in, which is more than annoying. The door to our room was missing the latch that hooks to the wall, and you could feel the flooring being disconnected from the floor underneath. The air was not on when we arrived, which isn't the biggest deal in the world but like come on!

- Mailii (2/5): - Found black mold along the doorway entrance. We decided to stay with family for the second night and picked up our belongings in the morning. They offered a different room but after finding black mold we did not want to stay at this property. We never received a refund or compensation.
- jennifer (6/5): - Not as nice as my last stay here. This room smelled and needed a paint job. Also, staff gave me a key to a room that was occupied, luckily the guy had the door bolted but I scared him at 1:30am nonetheless.
- William (10/5): Great Staff. - Staff was terrific, room was clean and quiet, parking was easy, location was great. Would stay here again and would recommend it.

- Ronald (8/5): NOT BAD FOR OVERNIGHT STAY - Motel was recently or in the process of being refurbished. Our handicapped room was freshly painted and clean. Bars to assist in getting up from toilet could be positioned better. Shower seemed nice. Quiet location, gas available, a few restaurants close by. Only con was the King mattress...definitely in need of replacement. Cost was reasonable
- joseph (8/5): Trip south. - For an older motel it was fine for a one night stay. The ice machine was broken but there was a convenience store and restaurants within walking distance. The girl at the front desk was wonderful.
- Talya (4/5): You get what you pay for! Nasty - Dead roaches, room wasn’t properly clean, area was rundown. We stopped in after a long drive and we ended up cleaning half exhausted before sleeping
- Laura (10/5): Very Pleased and Quite Surprised with Nice Room! - I'd stayed in a Red Roof some years back and it was a less-than-stellar experience. But I tried again, as we were traveling with pets and needed that accommodation. I was VERY PLEASED with the room. It was exceptionally clean, more spacious than expected, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located right off the highway, in an area near to eateries, so we were able to bring in dinner after our 12 hour drive. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others traveling this route.
- dana (4/5): Okay, but... - The employees are nice and check in was fine. But I was supposed to be in a nonsmoking room and it reeked of smoke. I have asthma, so this is an issue. The bed was quite soft, which actually was not so good--I like a firmer bed. The rest of the stay was fine.
- Sharon (4/5): Greeted by roache - I booked a king size room but when i arrived theee was only one on the second floor . He had double beds on tbe first but ghennchsrged us more. I imedisrely hsd to use the bathroom . Now im nit one yo thow sround the roache word. But while on the toilet a roach was on tbe bathrom floor i was indisposed to run and get my camera. It was about midnight snd we’d been driving my husband said we are stsying. I wont be sleeping. Lights on all night argh. I can do no frills but bugs especially German cockroaches hsve me concerned ill bring them home. Yuk i would not make this ip because i know it can hurt s business but it is what it is. If i spot another ill share picture

- Marykay (2/5): Keep looking… trust me. - When I tried to check in I was told they had over booked . I had reserved this room months ago. When I was told my room request wasn’t available I cancelled on the spot . I was told I wouldn’t be charged. I have a feeling this is going to get ugly. Really disappointed. Hotel looked dirty and really run down.
- Tom (10/5): Could have been better - The receptionist was great to deal with, so nothing was her fault. She had a great personality and super friendly. The room was ok. The floor had numerous stick spots throughout, therefore I questioned how clean it really was. It appears now that a lot of hotels are getting away from carpet which is fine, but they tend to swipe the floor instead of mopping it.
- Zaphea (10/5): - I made the mistake of booking this location when I was supposed to book another location on our way down to Florida. It was late and we already passed the town of Walterboro. Well I called them and the person who helped me on the other line (I think her name was Debra or Donna was so kind and helpful). Talk about excellent customer service! On our way back from Florida we ended up staying here and it did not dissapoint!

- Kelly (8/5): - Towels were small and old Walls are thin Everything was clean and the staff was nice at check-in. You could tell they were trying. The non-smoking room smelled of marijuana

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Next door had a barking dog late at night. Bathroom door was damaged. But the sheets were clean.
- Jonathan (8/5): Pretty Good - Stopped here for quick sleep on my way down I-95. Pros: Room was clean and in good repair. Bed was comfortable. Cons: AC unit a bit noisy. Sound travels easily through the communicating door with the adjoining room (fortunately I had quiet neighbors). Overall, pretty good for the price. I would stay here again.

- Kyle Matthew (2/5): - Stopped at this hotel just to sleep for the night. Check in was easy and the gentleman that helped me was very nice. Checked in late around 11pm and went to sleep pretty quickly. In the morning I woke up and walked over to the bathroom are and flipped the light on. There were FOUR little roaches climbing on the counter where our toothbrushes sat out all night. Then a few minutes later I thre my son’s pull up in the trash and accidentally knocked the trash can over. I went to pick it up and noticed black mold all over the wall behind the trash can. One of my children has Asthma and usually requires a hospital visit if he gets sick. I was supposed to hear from the manager yesterday but according to the staff he didn’t show up for his shift. Disappointing to say the least.
