Guest Reviews

- Cheryl (8/5): - Very accommodating No toilet paper
- Amy (1/5): We won't be back - Not a thing. Won't stay again. And I've told others about this olace Bugs, not clean, won't stay again. My husband killed a live roach. Mattresses on the outside of the hotel.
- Brandi (10/5): - Room was clean
- Jasmine (4/5): - Nothing Shower pressure garbage room old looks run down
- Steve Lazere (6/5): Adequate place to stay - Right next to the freeway. A basic place to stay with no frills. They accepted pets so that was the main reason we stayed there. Not the properties fault, but the closest place to eat was about 15 miles away. There was a gas station next door at least.
- Marc (7/5): great value and super nice people - the staff was awesome! they could not have been nicer! parking situation was tough because I had a trailer with my pickup
- Moua (6/5): Just for the nights to sleep. - Nice service There was no heater, and there was some kind of music noise all day, all night, not sure what it was.
- Sara (7/5): - Buzz, the desk person was nice. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. AC works well. The surroundings are right out of a Stephen King novel!
- Matthew (4/5): - Smelled like smoke very badly. Otherwise clean.

- Tim (1/5): If you’re just looking for a bed and a shower….im sure there are worse places to stay. - It was a place to sleep. Nothing worked. I was in Wichita, my wife had terrible cell reception, and the phone in the room wouldn’t dial out, it would only dial the front desk..
- Lawrence (8/5): - Property owner was very personable and helpfull.
- Bryan (10/5): - Nice people and was clean
- Darrell (7/5): Good -
- Krishna (8/5): Will come back and stay here if the opportunity arises. - Room was big. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was ok. Price $54/night was awesome. Nothing.

- Serhiy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (5/5): Passable -
- Dixie (8/5): Easy in out -
- David (8/5): - Ok room for the price, for a quick one night stay, no frills. Safe area, room was Ok, Bed was nice, but the room was not a 5 star! Great TV setup, with the TV being mounted up higher on the wall so that you could watch it while laying in Bed. Clean, yes, updated, not so much, Overall we would stay again, but take along an extra blanket to cover up with as the sheet and comforter were sparse.
- Marlo (7/5): Good -
- Emmett (10/5): - Clean
- Naomi (10/5): - Great spot to stop for a quick rest! Front office staff was very friendly.
- Susan (2/5): - Truly a disappointment….dirty.
- Carol (10/5): Motel 6 South Haven, Kansas - Had an excellent stay, just me and my little dog. Room clean, quiet, bed comfortable, young man who checked me in was very nice, good personality. The gas station next door has good sandwiches, burgers and pizzas.
One website said it was booked so tried another site and got a room reservation. They were not full. That website is losing business for them, unfortunately.
- Laura (10/5): - Check in empolyee was very nice and attentive, he went above and beyond to my accomadations due to being handicapped. Next time i travel definitely staying here again.
- Roman (10/5): - Great motel for this price
- Schrodt (8/5): Very good -
- deatra (10/5): No Bugs! - I read reviews for rooms in Winfield and Arkansas City ks. Didnt find very many that bed bugs was not mentioned except Motel 6 in South Haven. The price of the room was very reasonable and had good reviews. This is an older building and doesnt have a lot of frills but it was clean, cool, quiet and comfortable. I will definitely stay again.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Floyd (10/5): - Access to the property from southbound I-35 interstate lacks sufficient instructions to tell customer how to get across closed Bridge.
Also, had extreme difficulty getting back on I-35 south from hotel. after I finally got to hotel.
- Pattiseeley46 (6/5): Beds are hard - After driving from omaha me and my mom were exhausted so pulled in here for the night the beds are hard as a rock was clean the card key didn't work so gave us a new one the vending machine was not on only takes coins had to go across the street to a gas station for snacks then the direct TV went out no biggie the manger was good might come back here
- Amanda (2/5): Very poor - It quit That there bed hard as rock and there no food close
- Kole (10/5): My favorite resting spot! - I liked that I wasn't charged extra for my dog to stay. I also liked the grassy area to the west so he could chase a few balls after riding in a car for 9 hours. The staff at this motel 6 has always been wonderful to me and it's why I keep coming back when I travel from Texas two Minnesota to visit family. This is my favorite resting spot, and I've traveled by car all over the US. It would be nice to have a little something available for breakfast, even if it's just something prepackaged. I do realize that would be difficult to monitor, because some yahoo will try to take them all. Lol.
- Black (9/5): Excellent Staff ! Quiet area. Recommend ! -
- Tony (6/5): Pleasant - It didn't look like much but was pleasantly surprised. The young man at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful.
The room was dated but very clean.
- Steve (10/5): - Great spot for the night, right off i-35
- Jody (8/5): - Looks like they have done a like up grading. Ceiling tile in the bathroom has a four inch gap in one area. Wall in bathroom and the room could use a little elbow grease. Staff was very nice
- Lori (8/5): Very good -
- Edward (6/5): - no breakfast
- Zane (8/5): - Tub is dirty, needed scrubbed. A side table that had a spill on it that had been wiped. The rest seemed clean. Some general upkeep needs done. Price not bad considering what we got. We're used to having an iron and ironing board, as well as a hairdryer.
- Richard (8/5): - When towing RV on our way south for winter, I like to book a room that has room to park the rig as well as fuel nearby.
This Motel 6 met the criteria.
Normally not a fan of Motel 6, I would definitely stop by here again.
- juanita (10/5): - Friendly staff. clean and spacious room. Located right next to interstate.
- David (8/5): Very good - Very clean No breakfast
- becky (8/5): - The young man at the desk was so friendly. He noticed we were older and changed our room to ground floor, then made sure our room key worked.
We were so tired we didn’t complain about the bed pad hadn’t dried all the way before put on bed. We just left the covers up and slept with the bedspread.. it was clean, just damp..
We will stay here again…
- Joe (8/5): pleasant stay, comfortable bed, quiet room. - clean and safe all good

- Maksim (10/5): - Good
- John (7/5): Good - Convenient to the highway. Stained sheets.
- Castro (10/5): Peaceful plese - Everything beautiful hotel Nothing we loved everything
- Kevin L (4/5): - Pros: Was right off the highway, staff was attentive & friendly. Cons: Room had two doors, interior & a exterior, issued key only worked on the exterior door. After staying one night, came back the dirty bathroom lenin had been removed but not replaced, same for all the soap.
- Maksim (10/5): - Good
- Todd (5/5): Passable - Close to. I 35. . No coffee pot in rm. No free breakfast or. Cereal bars. No shamoo, conditioner. Found 2 bugs, roaches on my bed when I left.got
- Julien (10/5): -
- Heather (8/5): Very good - Night check in staff was very friendly! A couple of bugs in the bathroom
- Maksim (10/5): - Good
- Marc (8/5): - Staff were very friendly. Room was fine, clean, and adequate. Some mosquitos outside by the ponds. Rainstorm blew some rain under the outside door. Price and location were what brought us here.
- Deborah (8/5): Nice People - The staff were so nice and made sure that I had what I needed. It was quiet and one of the cleaner Motel 6's I have been in lately.
- Maksim (10/5): - Good
- Melody (6/5): It was restful. - No breakfast. Shampoo for shower. Hair dryer.
- Lori (7/5): Good - Close to the interstate. Affordable Bed was hard. Towels were hard.
- Abang (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (1/5): isolated and disappointing. won’t go there again - had a bed didn’t look like pictures. bed was hard. location was far from any conveniences
- Maksim (10/5): - Good
- Christina (8/5): Great - Was worried with it being a Motel 6 it has been 20years since I have stayed in one. The family running this motel was really nice and super accommodating. We had a great experience. The only thing I would suggest is to remodel your showers. Other than that the room has a lot of space.
- Christopher (8/5): - Great hotel for the price. Bed is a hard mattress and flat.
- Thomas (8/5): - Good value
- Johnnie (8/5): Very good - it was convenient clean and the staff was great we had to get a double room instead of a king. the beds was way way to hard
- Darrin (10/5): Exceptional - Well kept !! and very nice owner …
- jab8139 (10/5): A clean, pleasant, and dependable overnight stop. - This motel is in a very convenient place for us, the midpoint of our trip from home to or from Denver, and we stay here somewhat regularly.
It's a Motel 6, which usually means fairly basic accomodations, but it's always very clean, everything works, and the owner and staff, which I believe is mostly family, are invariably friendly and helpful.
If there's a negative for me, it's that the beds are quite firm. I know some prefer that, but a bit softer mattress would suit me better. Beyond that, there are no restaurants or other services besides a fuel station at this exit, and Motel 6 locations do not usually offer breakfast, so be aware of that.
- Patricia (8/5): Homeward bound - Clean room, nice bed. Had a refrigerator and microwave. Nice pillows also.
- June (10/5): - The only issue was the ceiling in the bathroom was miss colored and coming loose. Looked like water had leaked from above.
- Maksim (10/5): - Good
- Helen (10/5): - Convenient location and great price
- Adrienne (10/5): Great value!! - Great no frills hotel. My room was clean and the check in process was seamless, even with 2 dogs. Will definitely use again. The only thing that could be better is the pillows.
- Rogelio (10/5): Excellent place to stay. This was my second stay at this location and both times it was so clean. - Had no breakfast but I believe none was available as not even coffee was available either. I have to have my coffee every morning and none was available.
- Mesay (10/5): - Clean property. The outside seems a bit runsown but the rooms are fantastic. Clean amd comfortable beds. Good shower. This place is in the middle of nowhere and if you are tired of driving and need a quite restfull break, it is tour place. There is one gas station right across the motel. There is nothing else in the area. Better bring your shampoo amd conditioner because the hotel didnt provide. Overall, I took a restful break.
- ERIC (10/5): - Friendly staff, decent room (hey, it's not the Waldorf) not bad at all.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Clausen (8/5): Perfect for a one night stop on a road trip. - Close to the freeway, but still little outdoor noise. Also, a lot of grass and open area for my dogs. Thin walls, so my dog was constantly letting people know what he thought. Not so much an issue for me, but I felt bad for my neighbors.
- Charles (10/5): I would definitely stay again! - clean, well appointed and very friendly staff! no complaints
- Tammy (5/5): Passable -
- Lafoya (4/5): Disappointing -
- Bob (8/5): Very good -
- Gail (10/5): The perfect accommodation for what I needed; clean, comfortable and affordable. - No breakfast, but they did have coffee! Room was clean and comfortable. Cable TV, refrigerator and microwave. Was an overnight stop on a two-day drive. Gas station right next door so you can have gas tank filled and ready to go in the morning. Location was right off the highway, very convenient. Did not have any complaints.
- Isreal (5/5): Ok - It was close to were I was visiting. There was a gas station next to it. The bed was hard.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Clean, comfortable. There is no restaurant at this exit..... Can't remember maybe a gas station. But I had already had supper just needed to sleep, so it worked great for me
- Michael (8/5): - The motel is close to Interstate 35. There is a parking lot next door that is dusty but no big deal. Woman at the front was very welcoming. The hotel is simple. The air conditioning worked great and there were no bed bugs so I was pleased.
- Paul (8/5): - The facility itself is fine and adequate. Very basic, no frills kinda place. The rooms are well laid out for a business traveler like myself. There's no place to eat nearby but the truck stop next door.
