• Klepacki (1/5): Run, don't walk away from this Motel 6. - The room is a good size. But failure to designate parking spaces leaves cars far from their assigned rooms. Very dirty. Cat and dog hair on beds and carpets. Questionable guests staying in the rooms. The staff lied and said they didn't have another single bed room when I asked to switch rooms to avoid the pet hair and dander.

• Mark (1/5): My stay at, motel 6 in Lumberton, NC, was very unpleasant. - Nothing The room had rats, roaches, and the ceiling over the toilet was pouring water. There was water all over the floor and big pieces of the ceiling kept falling into the toilet. I had to get the pieces of the ceiling out of the toilet myself. The water was dripping on us while using the toilet so bad that we had to cover ourselves with a towel to use the toilet. The toilet also didn't flush properly. The rats were eating my food and scaring my kids. The shower door didn't close properly so water would get on the floor. The room was not cleaned properly before I got into it. There was lots of hair in the shower, the floor was filthy, and the refrigerator was filthy. The motel staff made a remark about the rat that was very unprofessional. I was told I couldn't get another room and that they would see about getting rat traps for me. Of course, no rat traps were provided, the staff was mocking me. My family had put up with this for a week. When I payed for the next week I was allowed to get a different room, but I had to keep all my things in my car until check in hours later. The new room they gave me was also filthy. This motel is filthy, broken, and not at all accommodating. There is no breakfast here and the coffee is only served until 10am.

• Mark (2/5): Worst stay I've ever had and hope I never have to stay here ever again. - Price They made us move all our things out after staying a whole week and we had already paid for another week. The reason was it's the rules for paying online to check out and come back at 3 pm for check-in. Again we were already in the room and paid for another week. It's like being punished for paying online because it's cheaper. When we returned after staff cleaned the room there was dirt and food in front of the door that had been swept out of my room. They were painting outside my room and the fumes caused my wife to have an asthma attack. We were not giving any notice before they began painting. The room was full of roaches. The phone didn't work. The Internet was very poor. The buttons on the ac unit were broken. The water was extremely too hot 🔥🥵 and the water pressure in the sink was way too high. Every time I turned on the water in the sink I was soaked by scolding hot water if I wasn't very careful. The hangers in the closet area were supposed to be attached but they kept falling down.

Never said hello, or anything The place must be being used as a Section 8 facility. People running around til midnight yelling, talking, etc etc. No security I worked in the police department in NYC and even this place didnt make me feel safe. Oh and the smell of Marijuana wafting out of a room as I walk by Also who installed that shower head, someone who is 5'2" ??? Im average height male 5'10 and i litterally had to stoop down under it

While checking bed 2 I moved the mattress and 5-8 roaches scattered. That was enough. Went back to front desk assigned different room and same story. The parking lot was filled with 10-15 drifters, drug addicts, street trash at 2:00 am.

• Tiara (4/5): Last resort motel - The on-site laundry room was a plus. Oh gosh, where do I start? The first room we were in was DIRTY. We wiped everything down with clorox before putting our stuff down. The second room was cleaned before we went in. But I still went behind them and cleaned myself. There were roaches that came out mostly during the night. I had to spray several times a day to keep them at bay or kill them whenever they walked through. I kept everything sealed. They were doing some improvements like painting and I think light fixtures. They used a grinder to remove the paint from all the rails all day every day, and all the dust from it got all over the cars. The pool is non-existent and probably will never reopen. The staff/ live-in workers have plants growing around the pool. The area is not the greatest. There are families living there and I feel for them. There are some sketchy people in and out of there as well. You'll see them for a few days, then don't, and then they're back again.

When we drove around the building to get to our room, 4 men were standing back there doing something (not sure what). We arrived at 11:30 p.m. The bathroom was very dirty and the beds didn't seem clean. I would not recommend to anyone.
