Guest Reviews
- Malynda (6/5): - It was quiet The breakfast line had ants
- Arthur (5/5): -
- Everardo (8/5): -
- Michele (10/5): -
- Francesca (4/5): - I like the location I don't like the fact that they are charging me $50 for some pen marks on the bed sheets. We aren't stupid to be writing on the bed but they said we did and I'm trying to ask them for proof of the sheets.
- Yadira (7/5): -
- Shyann (4/5): -
- Sonia (5/5): Overall it was okay but the room could have been cleaned better - The location was great! Close by where I needed to work and close by local restaurants. Staff was very nice. The room could have been cleaned better. The walls were dirt, the curtains were stained and the base of the toilet was filthy.
- Helena (9/5): Easy in and out for a good price - Great location and pet friendly Not much grass for the dogs, but for the price, it was worth it.

- Jacob (3/5): Way overpriced for quality of stay. - Breakfast was average. Good location. Was supposed to have a room with 2 queen beds, the room provided had 2 fulls. Microwave in room did not work. Door did not lock. TV picture was blurry. Room surfaces and tv remote had not been wiped down and smudges on mirrors. Burn marks and stains on bed sheets and comforter. Dangerous stairways. Staff did nothing about room issues.
- Debbie (10/5): - Staff was amazing.

- Kacey (8/5): Very comfortable stay in Pinetop! - The front door clerk, June I believe was her name was very sweet. The room was very clean and the best was comfortable! No water bottles in the room.
- Robin (4/5): - Lights were strobing in the hotel, For some reason even though the hotel was empty they put us in a handicap room with a weird shower. Everything
- Gwendolyn (4/5): -
- mari (1/5): -
- Marquez (10/5): - What we liked about the hotel was that it was close to our family’s Airbnb, which made it easy to spend Christmas together. We also liked the breakfast.
- Jawaski (10/5): Great - I didn’t eat it
- Ernest (8/5): -
- Janis (8/5): Very good for what we needed - The location was good for what we needed. We were visiting in Lakeside. The breakfast turned out better than expected. We appreciated the hot eggs, sausage and waffles! a littler friendlier and helpful staff
- Erika (10/5): - Great location, quiet, comfy beds, great WiFi
- Holli (10/5): -
- Christina (5/5): Would stay there if only to sleep but not with children. No pool and not child friendly. - Good location and good price. Walls to thin. Floor is creaky.
Someone complained and we had to move rooms. We weren’t even making noise!!!
There’s not a pool!!!
- Veronika (6/5): -
- Vincent (10/5): - Nice
- cathey (10/5): - Last minute decision to stay here. Not disappointed, the room was very large, shower was amazing and I absolutely can not express how comfortable the bed was. OMG.. perfect..
- Herman (10/5): - It was great
- Yadira (8/5): - Check-in was friendly and efficient, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was disappointing. We arrived 45 minutes before closing and found only two sausages and a small amount of scrambled eggs, barely enough for two servings. There was no milk, the waffle mix was empty, and several other items were either depleted or missing altogether.
We waited 20–30 minutes, hoping someone would replenish the food, but no staff appeared. As closing time approached, we asked the front desk associate, who had been present the entire time but appeared occupied with his phone, if breakfast would be restocked. He informed us that they do not refill items within 10 minutes of closing. At that point, he stood up, but we had already decided to leave and find a restaurant.
It was unfortunate to start the day with such limited options and a lack of attentiveness, especially given how early we arrived. I hope management considers improving the breakfast service and staff responsiveness.
- Vincent (6/5): - Good over all.
- William (1/5): Double Billing. Booking.com charged me to get my reservation # and Front desked charged me also! - Fair
- Amy (8/5): - Upon check in there was no staff at the desk, had to ring bell to get someone to help with checking in. The second day the room key did not work, when I went to the front desk there was no explanation other than the staff saying "oh, I did that maybe I was not supposed to do that". It was also confusing to know if cleaning staff would come into the room or not, there were no door hangers to allow you to decide if you wanted service, had to clarify with he front desk.
- Jeanette (2/5): - A/C broken. Not acceptable.
- Rene (6/5): - Room was very comfortable only change that I feel is necessary are the TV
- Vincent (8/5): - Just average at best.
- jean (8/5): - Staff was great and kind and helpful Only negative was the sheets didn't fit bed and drapes too big- looked tacky. End table and wall paint shabby.
- Louisa (10/5): -
- Mike (6/5): - TV didn’t work, phone didn’t work, alarm didn’t work. Not enough overhead lighting in the room.
Staff was nice & accommodating though.
- John (6/5): The basic place to stay but not much more - It was an okay place to stay but could really use better theming. The service received was also not especially friendly or welcoming. Just felt very generic and basic.
- Peggy (6/5): - Requested a non-smoking room and when we walked into the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Fortunately, I had brought my own air purifier so that helped with some room deodorizer other than that it was a great stay very comfortable, very clean and friendly.
- Pauline (2/5): - The photos on the website are misleading. This is a rundown motel that has been refurbished very poorly. There was paint peeling off the walls, a stale odor in the room, and the towels looked to be about 30 years old and could stand up by themselves. We tried to tough it out and stayed for 1 night, asked in the a.m. if we could be refunded for the second night as we could not stay in those conditions. Front desk advised we would have to contact Expedia and that we received a special rate which was untrue. Before taxes the room was supposed to be $77.77, we were charged by the motel $115.32 for a Thursday night stay.
- Diane (10/5): - We arrived in town around noon and were hoping we could check-in early. The lady behind the desk was happy to help & she did!
Very clean hotel and room. We go to Pinetop every year and will return to this hotel every time moving forward.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Smelly bathroom - Everything was pretty good. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The only complaint I have is the bathroom smelled pretty bad. I think it may be the toilet or the floor of the bathroom, it smelled like urine or mildew. We kept the door closed to the bathroom but every time we went in there, the smell hit you. Also, the water was lukewarm, but bearable when taking a shower.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Honest review - The person at the front desk was a nice gentleman but that is about the only positive for this trip. To begin we rang the bell and waited about 10 minutes before someone came to check us in (3:45pm). After we got checked in and went to the room and unpacked only to find the door didn’t latch when shut. Went back down to be told that you have to lift up on the door at the same time you shut it. After a few tries we were able to lift it enough to get it to close, imagine doing that everytime you left the room for 4 days… super annoying. If you know the door is broken, fix it! The group in bathroom and vanity area was filthy and housekeeping left some things in the trash and fridge from previous occupants, but other than that the room was clean and bed was comfortable. If you are coming here to enjoy the mountains this is not the place, there is zero amenities outside, not even a chair to enjoy your morning coffee. Oh and let’s talk about coffee, they ran out the second day. I don’t mean they ran out and had to make more, they ran out of coffee. Free breakfast had zero options for somebody with food allergies, I am used to having limited options as someone with celiac disease but there was literally not a single thing Gluten free. The hotel was filled with crews of workers which is exactly the type of hotel this is. Like I said, the nice young man at the desk and the central location was about the only positive things to say in this review. Will not be back.
- Martha A (10/5): - We like everything is good except do you don’t have channel in Spanish.
- Jeanette Mayer (5/5): We experienced friendly service, fresh, comfy beds, but I couldn't stay again due to the mold. - The service desk was friendly and the bed was clean and comfortable. Our room was ready a little early and they allowed us to check-in early. The shower smelled moldy and had mold along the tub. It was very unpleasant!! The bathroom's shower curtains should be removed and a fresh one put in for new guests. Also, the tub mold needs to be removed and cleaned!
- Yadira (6/5): - The garbage bin had garbage from previous guest.
- Genevieve (6/5): - made extra charges on my card for some reason
- Amanda L. (4/5): Unpleasent man needs to go - First clerk, middle eastern man was a ----hole. Check in Lady in afternoon was awesome. Room ac did not work and was loud. Wall scratched up and missing handels on wardrobe. Felt not kept up. First incounter with man started it off horrible.
- LETICIA (4/5): - I chose the Comfort Inn for its name & reputation for getting what you pay for, but not the case here. Room had a horrible & potent smell. Rooms need to be updated and the small puny trash can in room had no plastic bag, I had to use one of my grocery bags.
Had to constantly keep logging into the WiFi because it kept disconnecting, so frustrating.
- Barbara (10/5): Very enjoyable Peaceful stay. We will be using Comfort in again. - They were very happy to give us a bottom room we asked for since I've had 2 knee replacements. We will use this hotel again this was Our 2nd stay. The cleanliness of the room was a very Pleasant Surprise. I am very picky. I pull down sheets and check Pillows. It was Perfect. It was only a Two night stay, but we had no issues.very enjoyable
- denise (2/5): - Dirty and breakfast was a joke.
- Julyssa (7/5): - A little old. Dirty curtains. Dirty walls. Had a bad smell .
- Jim (10/5): -
- Kinney (10/5): Good - Nice Nothing
- LUANNE (6/5): - The day and night staff were very helpful and friendly (Clarence and Brandon). However the rooms are in desperate need of refurbishing. The walls need paint badly and the rooms need much better cleaning. Unfortunately we would not stay there again.
- Brenda (6/5): Not my favorite. Beds were good but just needs to be updated - Beds were comfortable The room was pretty beat up. Handles on the furniture were broken. I will say the room fridge worked great 🤷♀️
- Wendy (8/5): I like it here will stay again - Comfy bedding 2 nice desk clerks very accommodating cold ac In room 130 between 6 and 8 every morning there was a weird banging noise like someone hitting a pipe against another pipe above the entry way area very annoying and sleep disruptive
- Mickie (10/5): - Stay was great!
We did an early check in and the guy at the counter was very nice.
Property was well kept and clean.
Room was comfortable and was exactly as shown in the pictures. Walls could be cleaned a bit, but other than that the room was clean.
We did have breakfast one day. It was simple and good.
Lobby and hallways to the room were very warm, but not an area we hung around so it was fine.
We would most definitely stay here again!
- Kevin (8/5): - The staff was EXCELLENT & breakfast was great. It had eggs bacon sausage too.
- Noah (1/5): Bad -
- David (7/5): Stayed 5 nights over July 4th. Great location. Comfortable and quiet. Seemed a little pricey but it was a holiday. Small - Nice spacious room. Comfy bed. Quiet. Direct tv was lacking. No network channels.
Breakfast was just ok. Nothing special.
- Beverly (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anna (7/5): Good -
- Roberta (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was so comfortable I wish I could have brought it home!! Everything was exceptionally clean. There wasn't anything that I was unhappy about.
- Will (8/5): - The juice machine was broken during my stay, which was needed for breakfast.
- Shawn (8/5): - Great stay
- Jim (6/5): Ok for overnight stay but would probably not choose this hotel again. - Location was ok; but only had view of the parking lot. Main disappointment was the breakfast. Better Breakfast and staff at check-in desk to have a bit more pleasant & welcoming attitude!
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (8/5): - Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Our only concern was the TV in the room did not work. It's nice to catch up on news, sports, and watch a movie, however, we were not able to do that on this trip. The front desk clerk didn't seem too concern when told about it. His comment was, it'll be working the next time you come to town.
- James (5/5): Passable - Towels and old clothing still in the room
- Heidi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daneesha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liza (10/5): - Comfortable quiet stay
- Tana (7/5): Good -
- Polk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juan (10/5): - Na
- Larry (3/5): Not going back - Clean Manager rood
- Matthew (8/5): - Good location, easy to find, lots of dining options within a 5 minute drive. Clean room, very comfortable beds and good breakfast. Will stay again!
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Hotel was clean and comfortable. However it took a while for the man to come and check us in, no hi's or wecome. I'm a bit hard of hearing when I told him i could not hear what he said he was very short with me gave me the key card and went back into a room.
- Susunkewa (8/5): Very good - The bathroom door knob was broken . They didn't offer to move us to another room.. asked for more towels, and the wait took almost an hour.
- Lahi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bren (4/5): Disappointing - Room small, but value good.
- Latayla (4/5): Disappointing - Good location It wasn’t very clean, there was hair and dust on the fan, looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in a while, the bathroom was not very clean the shower looked stained.
- Ovidiu (8/5): Very good -
- Harley (8/5): - Clean, large room, and had a good breakfast.
- Brenna (2/5): Not so happy! - No shampoo!!!😖 I thought I reserved a room with a walk in shower. Nope I got one with a tub.
- Mirela (6/5): Pleasant - The room was clean, but need updates The door could not close, had to use force to lift them up to close, first day breakfast was nice, the second day the cook overslept and other couple had to ring the bell to get in and open for breakfast. He just spread around 5 sausages and 6 eggs that were left from the previous day, and opened the door. Someone had to call him back to start juice machine
- Sina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cynthia (10/5): Good stay - Clean and comfortable Nothing
