Staff was helpful with recommendations :) Maybe it could be a bit cleaner, some spots a little dusty. Location was great, we could walk to many of the things we wanted to see and right by the metro for easy transportation. I highly recommend going to the cafe a few doors down café comptoir lyonnais!
- Helene (2/5): - Propreté très douteuse des sous taies des oreillers idem pour la salle de bain. notre voisin ronflait et cela nous a bien empeché de dormir, le mur derrière le lit donne sur la réception de l'hôtel situé juste à coté (rez de chaussée ) et le night auditor passait son temps à déplacer sa chaise ou autre ... les murs doivent etre bien fins ! Nuit exécrable.

Repair work occurred during stay. Room Key on chain attached to wooden piece had to be turned into front desk prior to leaving the building everyday. Retrieve key from front desk upon return: 3 out of 4 front desk staff seemed very apathetic to helping guests. Room had no AC despite Expedia listing of AC amenity. Extremely disappointing in the summer when temperature reaches 90 Window cannot be kept open due to mosquito outside problem in the summer. 2 bed rooms has 2 shower 2 sink but only one toilet.

Keine Klimaanlage und zu warm mit geschlossenen Fenster. Betten bequem und sauber. Bad alt und abgenutzt und teilweise nicht sauber. Leider liegen vereinzelt Ameisen auf dem Boden im Bad und Zimmer. Frühstück ist einfach und ausreichend. Service nett und freundlich.

En revanche ménage très mal fait (prises, poignées de porte sales, traces sur l’armoire, odeur de renfermé…). L’arrière cours en véritable binz… Dommage avec peu d’effort et un petit peu de moyens cela pourrait être bien mieux.

- Anthony (2/5): A fuir ! - Je ne vais pas m'attarder, mais pour ma part et celle de ma petite amie, le séjour à été très décevant. Nous faisons une centaine d'hôtels par an et je pense que celui-ci est le pire de l'année 2018. Premièrement, le check-in est prévu à 14h30 (c'est même écris en gros sur une feuille blanche derrière l'accueil), mais le gars de la réception me dit que ma chambre ne sera pas prête avant 15h... Je me suis dit que ça peut arriver. Donc j'attends, puis un, puis deux autres clients entres et c'est la même histoire.... Dans ce cas proposez la bonne heure c'est plus simple. L'hôtel est vieillot, la seule touche de modernisme c'est l'ordinateur de l'accueil pour vous dire. La chambre est très étroite. Entre le lit et le mur prévoyez 35cm maximum pour circuler... Rien à redire sur la salle de bain. Par contre et c'est le plus gênant, niveau isolation 0 ! Donc vous entendrez tous les bruits de pas, les sèches cheveux, les chasses d'eau et si vous êtes chanceux comme nous, vos voisins vous réveilleront peut être au son très mélodieux de leurs coïts. Franchement, je ne vous recommande pas cet hôtel sauf si vous n'avez vraiment pas le choix.
- Verified traveler (8/5): You Get What You Pay For - It's difficult for me to know how to rate this place. I try to rate places based on what they are, so a 5* hostel isn't the same as a 5* hotel. For the price, my only complaint is that I put something in the shelf on the nightstand and when I pulled it out, it was COVERED in dust. I'm not a fan of finding that corners are being cut on cleaning. Also, the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Otherwise, compared to a standard 2* single room, the space was REALLY small, carpet & comforter was stained. Also, the WiFi works in the main building, but my phone showed virtually no signal once I was out in the back building, where my room was. Fortunately, an Orange free wifi spot was accessible. On the upside, the location is an easy 15 min from Bellecour and close to the Perrache metro/train. The staff are very friendly and somebody is staffing the desk 24/7. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Lyon, it is an acceptable choice.

- Verified traveler (10/5): J ai bcp aime le personnel surtout yoyo et Alexand - Selon votre publicité de chambre ça va un peut sauf que le lit trop petit dans la chambre individuelle on dire d enfants mais le service est trop génial le petit déjeuner à 7euro ça va un peut il y avait pas de fruit ni oeufs ni jambon ça sera mieux ci le propriétaire peux amélioré sont services je suis contente c juste à côté de la gare une muni frigidaire ça sera encore top de top plus la climatisation dans la chambre avec cette chaleurs
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bed bugs - The staff were friendly. The location was hard to beat. Our room was a quaint old two story apartment with three beds. I had a terrible night trying to sleep. I woke up covered in bed bug bites. It was the small bed upstairs.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Small hotel in central Lyon - This is a small centrally located hotel in the Presqu'Ile district of Lyon. The room I had was small but had all the features I would expect. The air conditioning was a bonus for me and very effective in keeping the room at a reasonable temperature in the summer heat. The hotel was very good value for money.

- Lisa (8/5): good value for your money! - a great location near the train station - and easy to find. Spent three nights at this hotel during my stay in Lyon. Staff very helpful, but the place is showing its age a bit. And, the walls are a bit thin, so you will hear what goes on next door. I sleep with a white noise app on my phone, so it didn't keep me awake.
- Charlotte L (4/5): Great location in Lyon - Location is central near the old town and crossing major bridges to city center, also for wine tours. Lyon is a walkable city and picturesque. Hotel is basic with an in room laptop compatible safe. Bed pillows were the worst I've ever been offered, they were lumpy and flat. Front desk staff spoke hardly no English and a bit too inpatient with non French speaking guests.
- Jacqueline (4/5): Just a place to sleep - Far from Gare de Lyon part deiu station. I had to take a cab €15. No elevator. No fridge in room. Not modern at all. Room was small but comfy. Located on the island between both rivers. Walking distance from old city, shoping and restaurants.
- Tony (4/5): Odd and smelly - I have stayed in a lot of 2-star hotels in 10 trips to France over a 30 year period. This would have to rate as just about the worst. It was dark, poorly ventilated, smelly and the walls were covered on mould on the lower level. Yes, that's right, it was a room on 2 levels, with the lowere one resembling a dungeon. The pillow cases were so stained my daughters refused to sleep on them.
