Guest Reviews
- David (2/5): - One of the worst places I've ever stayed at. This place is so far past it's prime, its run down, the Motel sign is no longer lite, the stair's are all rusted, in general the place looks almost abandoned. The room smelled damp, looked clean enough, some of the power sockets did not work. The TV did not work, the free wifi was slow as hell, not even worth using. Now onto the bathroom. No shower head, the water continued to drip from where the show head should have been, and then the black mold was all over the wall. When I went to checkout I could not find any one to discuss this issue with, when hotels.com tried, they refused to inspect the room, and also would not consider any kind of partial refund, of the $150 it cost me for the night.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never pay for the stinky Budget motel. - The worst place to sleep. I almost went to sleep in my car. Stinky, dirty, stains on the towels, dusty table and dresser, Cobb web on the windows, carpet dirty. I was very tired but never slept and left before 7 am. No continental breakfast as indicated on the website. Adding an insult to the injury overcharged by hotel.com. I hate what they call taxes and recover fee whatever it means almost equivalent to the price of the motel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Would not recommend - This was an older hotel in need of updates. There was obviously some “rough” looking people living in units downstairs. Loud music was heard at 3:30am.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - R
- Sankar Prasad (2/5): Worst hotel - One of the worst hotel with the price range. Very old hotel and service is extremely poor and human can’t stay that kind of hotel. I always prefer Hotel.com but this time onwards I will never book through Hotel.com or suggest anyone.
- Kalyan (2/5): - It worse.. very dirty and bad smell.. location is very unsafe.. the pics shown are not what you see there..
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It is very disappointing of staying there. They say breakfast but nothing is there except coffee. there is no cleanness in the room. I would never stayed there if known the condition
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Ubication very good, the mothel need clean the rooms and make new bathrooms
- Chad (2/5): Dirty and broken - Dirty and broken!
This place is really bad. Dirty floor, dirty towel (had brown "dirt"), dirty shower, dirty walls, dirty sink.
Maintenance issues, shower head broken, lights burned out, holes in the walls, broken windows, sink falling off the wall, heating registers rusted and broken, a/c loud stinky and missing knobs
Room stinks of old smoke and dirt
No trash cans, no remote for the TV
Staff knocking on the door two hours before check-out to clean the room
Bugs in the room
- Verified traveler (2/5): - not well kept up. was not appealing at all in fact I did not stay there based on what I saw and did not stay there. Requesting a refund on my credit card.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Air conditioner not working , no break fast , no basic amenities
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I made a big mistake select this hotel because it’s very bad room and bathroom
- Jason (2/5): Waste of money - Don't waste your time or money very rude and have bed bugs and they don't wanna give me a refund
- Jose (6/5): NOTHING TO SEE, BUT PRETTY CLOSE TO THE NIAGARA - Well WAS FINE NO MUCH TO SAY, because we only slept there
MICRO WAVE, TV , OK.
- Andree (2/5): A Live-In Motel - This place was old and decrepit. It belongs in scary movies. My son and I could not stay there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was ok no complain not the best but was good
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very very very minimal and basic. No fridge. No microwave. Bathroom door doesnt close. Extra mattress extremely dirty and had stains.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was not good. The rooms were bad, unclean and not fit enough to stay. We were told complimentary breakfast but nothing was there. Overall experience was bad.
- Barbara (4/5): No breakfast no rooftop terrace - Was not happy with the whole experience. They didn't supply breakfast and there wasn't a rooftop terrace.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location
- Sheryl (2/5): Totally a rip off - Charged me over $159.00 to stay & it had dog food under the bed, no phone or blow dryer in the room. Hardly any channels to watch on the tv. The room was nasty n the motel was a dive inside & out but the best part of all was the FREE breakfast, donuts & coffee!!! What a joke!!! I will never trust Travelocity for a motel again. This room shouldn't have cost more than $25.00 a night to stay there. We stayed 1 night!! Nasty & disgusting!!! Go to a different web site for a room!!!!!! I should have taken pics but we wanted to get out asap. We were even charged $10.00 for our 10 year old daughter to stay. Worst experience we've ever had. I will not make that mistake again!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Economical, friendly management - It was a economic motel. Nice cold air conditioning. The manager is very friendly, and helpful. But it is not very cleaned. Carper not vacuumed, not dusted, microwave dirty, stains on sheets and mattress.
- Well wisher (2/5): Worse ever experience with staying in motel :( - Do not ever try to stay in this motel. You would be so much disappointed with the horrible condition of this motel, which I think should be immediately shut down. I am going to contact the local visitors bureau and other hotel authority to close such worse place. It could easily be seen in attached photos how this place is...
We checked in around mid night after all day drive and tiredness to sleep for one night.
just few words to summarize our experience here:
* Bad stinky smell like mold and cigarettes smoke the moment we opened the room door which caused headache all night.
* whole room and bathroom full of spider webs and carpet with sticky strains.
* No bathroom towels, soap, shampoos and when went to office the guy with no same on his face with all this left 4 mid size towels and couple cheap soap ( between 6 of us) at front desk and walked away. Just to mention that when used one of the towel it left full of sheds on body , yucks.....
* bunk bed with hard springs and metal frame making loud annoying crunching noise every time you move.
* worse of all: toilet flush was broke and there was no maintenance which left the toilet full of potty from my kid and noise of running water through flush all night.
* while checking out the motel manger had no signs of apology and said it's ok whatever and wherever you have to complain since he just works there and had informed the owner.
*Please help to close this Motel*
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Worst motel ever seen
- Verified traveler (2/5): The dirtest hotel I ever seen . - The Hotel was really miss advertised by Expedia . They charged me 148.75 and the hotel on they web site was 54.00.
The bathroom ceiling had mold all over it . There was something all over the bathroom door. Turn on the air conditioner and some god awful smell came out. Do not stay here . Expedia did refund my money after hours of fighting with them. Really 4 phone calls.
- Abe (10/5): For the Price, Very Good. - Very nice place to stay for couple of nights. Very Cheap.
- Clif (2/5): Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!
- Unknown stains on floor, on chairs, and on bed. Human hair found in between sheet. Mold covering 1/4 of the shower curtain. Bathroom floor is about to cave in, rotten wood.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for the price - This motel does an excellent job of providing affordable, clean and comfortable rooms with everything as advertised.
I was a little nervous about staying here on reading some of the reviews but there appeared to be few other options when I booked. I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed, it was conveniently located for places to eat and the front desk was friendly and helpful.
- AF (4/5): At Memorial Day weekend rates, not worth it! - I know the name of the place is "Budget" Motel, so but for two nights (incl of the additional guest charge for 3 adults, 2 kids) it was not value for money. The place badly needs a coat of paint, updated air conditioning and the bathroom of our room looked like it was put together by someone learning plumbing. I booked late and so had no option, but if you have any choice, avoid! The AC wasn't strong enough to I had to ask for a fan in addition. Manager was friendly and cooperative enough, but this place badly needs a dose of fresh investment. On the plus side, it is only 6 miles from Niagara, and close to 190, so could be a good base.
- amanda (4/5): Ok place for one night stay - This place was ok for a one night stay for those who can put up with a less than clean place. A bit overpriced for what you get. I've paid the same amount for a much cleaner Room with continental breakfast with other inns. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were all hard and my husband and I prefer soft pillows. Room came with free wifi and that was great. The bathroom was gross. There were dead insects smashed on the wall and mold on the tub tiles. No blowdrier in bathroom, no iron in room-- not something we needed for the night but definitely something we get for the same price with other models. If you're on the road and need a place just to crash for the night then this place is fine. Definitely wouldn't want to spend two nights or more here.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - So dirty! Very disappointed with Expedia!!!!!!! Never believe secret offer again!!!!!!!! Dirty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): could be a little better - was easy for get to niagara falls and on and off highway
- John (6/5): Basic hotel - about five miles from Niagara Falls - The room was very basic, but clean and neat. It was much less expensive (around $100) compared to the other motels in the area. It was good for an overnight stay while touring Niagara Falls.
- Becky (6/5): Over priced place to sleep. - Friendly staff but an old run down hotel in need of a serious cleaning.
- Kavitha (2/5): - Worst ever..Hotels.com please do not suggest this kind of hotels to your customers.
- Verified traveler (2/5): horrible hotel. - This hotel located in 3080 Grand island Blvd was so old and dirty, , smell so bad, the sheets and bathroom so dirty . I don't understand why appeared like 2stars ???
- jerry (2/5): Worst hotel in american - The place looks like a dumpster , the room is dirty, nothing in the room, unclean bathroom,
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Most all of the blankets have burn marks on them, the beds stunk and were dirty
- Lee (2/5): Motel of last resort - We needed a motel for one night to attend a family gathering near Buffalo and every other listing was booked due to a Rolling Stones concert. We would only recommend this motel the next time that happens. Motel had no amenities -- no lounge, no breakfast, no exercise facilities. Room was clean but had several flies. Shower was a jet of water, not a spray. Air conditioner was loud. Wifi was either underpowered or not secure, so I was unable to complete a VPN connection to the office, which is a primary requirement when I am traveling. The Wifi password began with "rc", which was certainly the nearby Red Carpet Inn.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Helpful staff but poor room condition - The staff was very helpful, but the overall condition of the room and cleanliness were poor.
- William (2/5): Yikes!!! - We had the misfortune of booking at this flea bag place. Every hotel within a 30 miles radius was sold out because of a concert in Buffalo. The motel is like out of a horror movie. It was so bad, we wouldn't bring our bags into the motel room. Everything inside was old and dirty. The paint on our entrance door was half peeled off. The bathroom is so decrepit, there was rust all over the base of the radiator. The pipes were shaking, grinding when we turned on the hot water in the shower. We had no choice but to sleep there after the concert because no other hotels were available. We should've drove 40-50 miles further until we found another place. No worst, we paid $183.89 for this dive!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very Poor accomodation - I would not ever want to stay in this hotel. Room thermostat didn't work all night. There were no towels in bathroom for handwash or bath. No exhaust fan in bathroom.
No phone in the room to call for any service. No remote with TV. Room was not clean, gave the feeling of an old age home. I just stayed overnight but bad experience.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This is the worst of experience I have for any hotel/motel in the US.
The motel looks like it has never change in 40 years except for the wi-fi. Almost everything is broken, the peeled doors, the broken AC, the broken windows, etc.
I wonder why EXPEDIA still carries this motel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): A dive - My family thought I was nuts when we pulled up. This place is soooo old and worn down. There is asphalt all the way to the doors of the motel. No sidewalk. The stairs to get to the 2nd floor look like they will fall down. I booked in a hurry from the mobile to save money, should have searched more. The bathroom was too disgusting to use. The floor had very old small pink tiles, except for where they had damage, which was replaced with beige large tiles, and not a flat repair. There were several of these patched areas. I put a towel down to walk on with my shoes. No bare feet in this room! The tub was also pink, and had dirty adhesive flowers on the bottom. The shower curtain was a thin, clear liner. There was no way we were going to use the tub. The light between the beds had the plug cut off, but they had placed a floor lamp and table lamp in the room so there was some light. Why not replace the plug and use the wall mounted lamp? Old style TV. Remote had all letters rubbed off, so you had to guess what each button was. The sheets were thin, and too small for the bed. The mattress was covered by only a narrow flat sheet, which didn't stay in place, so you ended up touching the mattress during the night. No mattress cover, no blanket, just a sheet and heavy bedspread, which you know you should never use, after seeing expose of bodily fluids in a hotel room on surfaces that are the same for every guest. If I had been able to get a refund, I would not have stayed here.
- Anthony (2/5): horrible - Felt like entering a scene from a low budget horror film
- Aj (4/5): Cost saver - Just ok. Not worth to pay more than $55.
- Navy (6/5): Close to Niagara fall - It is cheap and very close to Niagara fall. There was a little noise I don't know where it came.
- arun (2/5): worst hotel - Room, pillows are smoking smell. Bathroom is nasty and hot water didn't come.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to Niagara Falls - Close to Niagara Falls, rooms are not sophisticated. Okay for one night, the bathroom shower is broke, and is not clean at all.
- Ash (2/5): Would not stay here again - Picture of hotel is deceiving. This hotel is old. The bathrooms are 60's pale yellow. I was nervous to even take a shower. It is out of the way and not worth the drive.
