• Finarose (8/5): - The welcoming staff esp.Mr.David who went all out to assist me in finding a reputable drug store since I am not familiar with the place. And also he arranged a private car with tour which had a reasonable price.The hotel's location is infront of a busy street overlooking a big highschool,although it was not noisy at all.There were spas everywhere. Mr.David also receommended good choices of restaurants nearby. I noticed that the cook prepares pasta(carbonara)in the morning once other guests,from what I've observed are caucasians,but when it comes to asians like me,it's the usual stale fried rice.If they have to improve their services,they have to make sure that guests receive equal variety of breakfast,not repeated.

• SUDHIR (4/5): Wished we had booked our stay at some other property. - Location of the hotel is good.Breakfast spread is very limited.On a serious service lapse from the management side,we were provided with free airport drop. The hotel is very basic.I had booked family room with terrace which was a big disappointment.It is a room constructed on the terrace with no direct lift accessibility.One has to climb a flight of stairs to reach the room.It gets very hot during daytime as there is only one AC over the beds.The bathroom is very small compared to other hotel rooms.I don't know about other rooms in this premise,avoid booking the family room

• Rene (7/5): - Der Herr und die Dame an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kurze Fußweg zu Restaurants, Cafés und zur Train Street Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist ein Reperaturstau vorhanden. Das erste uns zugewiesen Zimmer war eine Zumutung. Wir haben nach Reklamation ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Dies war für 2 Nächte vertretbar. Die Fenster sind blind und die Möbel in die Jahre gekommen. Die Bettwäsche ist nicht sehr sauber, da schon sehr alt.

They are also a tour agency and are able to help and book any day trips or buses you might need ! Beds on the harder side, noise travels around very easily throughout the hotel and from outside

• Marjorie (10/5): Top ! - J’ai passé huit jours au Grand Sun Hotel et je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation. Le service est exceptionnel, avec une ambiance familiale qui fait vraiment la différence. Toute l’équipe, et particulièrement David, a été incroyablement serviable, gentille et toujours à l’écoute de nos besoins. L’hôtel est également parfaitement situé, en plein cœur de Hanoï, à proximité du lac et du temple où l’on peut se promener facilement. Tout est pratique et accessible à pied : restaurants, commerces, visites et animations du centre-ville. La qualité de l’hôtel est très bonne, les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées avec la climatisation. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, varié et très appréciable pour bien commencer la journée. Nous avons également pu organiser plusieurs excursions directement par l’intermédiaire de l’hôtel, ce qui était très pratique et parfaitement organisé. Petit plus très agréable : une petite terrasse au dernier étage permet de se détendre tranquillement, notamment pour les fumeurs. Si je reviens à Hanoï un jour, c’est clairement dans cet hôtel que je séjournerai de nouveau.

• Cristina (10/5): - The reception manager, (so sorry i wasnt able to get his name) was very accommodating..he helped us and made recommendations on where to go..he always had a happy smile and was very welcoming. He even had light breakfast prepared for us when we checked out at 430 in the morning for our flight. The hotel was right in the Old Quarter. Very near the lake, and the famed Ate Ha souvenir store 😉😊 We just walked our way around. The room was really nice and spacious and well lighted. It had toiletries too. Its a really good hotel, worth the price.. I cant think of any 😆

I 10 punti sono in particolare per il titolare, David, che è stato super disponibile, mi ha aiutato tantissimo con la programmazione del viaggio, a prenotare i treni, e ci ha tenuto i bagagli per cinque giorni nel suo hotel. Un poquito incomodo el funcionamiento del aire acondicionado. Funcionaba 30 segundos si y 1 minuto no, cuesta conciliar el sueño

Pokój bez hałasu z zewnątrz , czysty z dużą łazienką i niewiarygodnie wygodnym materacem. Śniadanie z dość dużym wyborem, owoce dostępne. Przemiły pracownicy na recepcji.

Laundry w - Great location, walking distance to train street, and to most attractions. Tom was really helpful. A lot of food and spa options around. Great value for money. Breakfast was good. The tile grouts need replacing.

It’s located in one of the busy streets but we didn’t hear any noise - The staff were friendly and suggestive of better options for our trip. The breakfast was superb! 10/10 Nothing much, maybe just that the bathroom was not shiny - clean if you get what I mean 😅 but overall it’s worth it for the price.

Beaucoup de poussière, toiles d’araignées et saleté sur les murs ce qui suggère qu’il y a très longtemps que la chambre n’a pas été nettoyée! Dommage que je ne peux mettre que 4 photos de la saleté) -Aucune fenêtre donnant à l’extérieur! -Les photos paraissent beaucoup mieux qu’en vrai! -Les murs sont mals insonorisés, nous avons été réveillés toute la nuit par du bruit provenant des chambres voisines! -Prix beaucoup trop élevé pour la qualité -À notre départ, la réception nous a demandé de donner une note parfaite de 10/10 afin d’aider à supporter l’hôtel, la note est donc artificiellement élevée et est très loin de valoir un 9/10!
