• Prateek (9/5): Worth spending any amount for this cozy stay. - When I entered the room, there was a music running on tv, fresh fregnance and the AC was already running. A water bottle and a milk was provided in the refrigerator. Bathrooms were clean. Just I was not provided with AC remotes, I cannot control it so I have to manually turn on and off each time.

• Lucas (8/5): One of the better Heratige pub experiences - one of my favourite pubs, clean room and bathrooms, comfy bed, love the old heritage elevator, good value, we need more pubs and motels in the price range If you are not into the old school heritage pub with shared bathrooms then it’s definitely not for you
• Bruce (9/5): Enjoyed it, would stay again if ever travelling through Gosford again and we needed accommodation. - Room 306, no noise disturbance. Communal bathrooms were modern, clean and excellent. Don't upgrade the lift, because of its historical value Easier access when leaving in the morning.

Basic but clean and secure. - Bathrooms are new and very nice, clean with heaps of fresh towels, bath mats etc. Room was clean, air con was good and hotel food is great, although expensive. Nice, character hotel. Prefer that the toilet/bathrooms were male/female rather than unisex. Hate having to touch toilet seat when men leave it up or sit on a wet seat in the night. My room was too hot. Noisy at night.

• Michelle (7/5): Great for a night or two in a charming unique pub. - Cleanliness, location, renovated bathrooms with good privacy. Outside bedrooms but in separate rooms. Soap and lamps, and table with chair provided in room. Milk, tea/coffee provided. Noisy, door key security deposit of $100 is a bit steep. Interesting areas of hotel are closed to the public. Bed was single but fine for female.

It was awesome going back in it took a break to get used to but once we got used to it it was great The bathrooms are excellent very clean. It was awesome very good setup.

• Paul (3/5): Hard to get a good nightssleep. - Clean room. Plenty of clean towels every day. I knew when I walked into the room and saw ear plugs provided by the Hotel things would be bad. The "Hotel" has a night club downstairs which stays open to the early hours. Teh "music" is extremely loud , the bass carry's through the whole fabric of the building. Ear plugs just dont block those notes. Street fight outside the entrance on Saturday night involving customers, bouncers and police. Traffic noise can be bad too. Old sash windows so no sound proofing there.

• Rosemary (10/5): I was on my way to visit friends and it was a very convenient place to stay. - Very conveniently close to Gosford Railway station and Pizza Inn. Wish they could supply mugs instead of cup and saucer.
• Lois (10/5): - I am 63 and was attending a wedding at Terrigal. I needed a place close to the train station to get a flight out on Sunday. I arrived from the wedding at 10pm to see what looked like a night club line spilling out onto the footpath and pounding music. I was right, the place was pumping. I checked in with a very friendly and helpful fellow at the bar who assured me I was staying in a room away from the music. He was right. It was very clean, comfy bed, supplied ear plugs which I did not need. The shared bathroom was beautiful and I could make a cuppa tea in my room. Ticked all my boxes, highly recommended! Lois from Lennox Head. It was all very good!

• Mengyu (6/5): Good value but maybe weekday less noisy - Great location. Staff are very friendly. Rooms look exactly like what's in the photos. Shared bathroom is newly renovated and very clean. Stayed here on saturday night and it's very noisy even the ear plugs didnt help. Night club music stopped around 2am but somehow there was this annoying consistent electrical noise came from either aircon or fanthat kept me awake most of the night. Another thing is the parking behind the hotel, spots are limited. we checked in around 6pm and got no luck to find a car park despite checking a few times before midnight.

• Cassandra (10/5): Fantastic overnight stay - The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was super comfy, the decor was really interesting too, paying homage to the places history, the bathrooms while shared were beautifully renovated, large and even though there was only 4 on each floor there was never a wait for the toilet nor showers (each bathroom had both toilet and shower) The only downside was that you could hear the truck going past as it’s on a main road, this is of course no fault of the hotel

• JACQUELINE (9/5): Close to the station, it was perfect. - The room was very comfy and the bathrooms are beautifully renovated with all necessary amenities. My meal in the dining area was delicious (although a bit expensive) The TV light in the bedroom is so bright, it disturbs one’s sleep.

• Michelle (6/5): Nice renovations, wish I knew the changes interrupted the quietness of the property - It is very central and newly renovated and extremely good value for money. The bathrooms are communal, but they’re lovely and renovated. The rooms now have a TV in them. I fundamentally didn’t realize that since the renovations, the hotel is now having different types of night time entertainment, and that I would be awake until 2am with doof doof downstairs.

• Craig (8/5): Great value & location - Location & price + meals at restaurant were great Rear car park not 4x4 friendly- very tight. Single bed tipped to one side when you rolled to the right - but this will be widely fixed. The biggest let down was one window had a black out curtain missing, so the room wasn’t dark at all due to street lights
