• Mark & Nancy Sap (9/5): Felt welcomed - Older motel that's been refurbished. Bathrooms new and clean. Coffee maker with complimentary chocolate delights, nice touch. Homemade soaps. Older basic furniture but that added to the charm. Staff very accommodating and hospitable. Great value, would definitely stay here again. Small TV.

• Marc (10/5): What a pleasant stay. Service was above and beyond! - The customer service was phenomenal. Michael was extremely generous and helpful. My fiancee was in a pinch and didn't have a razor before a wedding we were going to. They don't even sell them in the lobby, but he called us back a couple min later and said he doing a disposable razor for her. And he gave it to her for free too!! When we were checking out he gave us a few packs of gourmet chocolates and an entire box of a dozen Dunkin Donuts!! Some of the stuff in the room is not great quality (mostly just the pillows/bedding). But it's a 2-star hotel so that was to be expected. It may be a 2 star hotel, but the service and accommodation is easily 5 stars!!
• Bill (10/5): Would stay again if given opportunity - Excellent location- tucked in wooded area a short distance from main highway, but not too close to hear vehicles. Very pleasant surroundings, very friendly staff; it was easy to find and short drive (<2miles) from a main “artery” we used to get into Manchester, Vt. Also, it is situated a short drive from a quaint town (East Dorset). Leave it as is! Everything Exceptional!!

I liked that it was rural & could walk in wooded area each morning. Not fancy just basic. Beds a bit too soft for my back but other than that fine. Free parking. Mattress too squishy.

We were going to be late, the office closes at 7pm, so I called and Michael said no worries. He said he would text the info for late check in. Very simple. He’d turned on the heat and lights for us. So appreciated. Very quiet here and very beautiful. Great hand made soaps. We bought one, they are made by one of the owners. Had coffee and conversation in the office the next morning. There is a balcony with a nice view in the office. Would absolutely recommend this place.

• Kathryn (10/5): Serenity in the Hills - The views are absolutely stunning. There is a huge property to walk around and enjoy. There are some cute little things like a game room and an incredible porch to have your coffee on highly recommend this place. Lovely lovely people.
• Julia (10/5): Nice Stay - Really love how this place is tucked away in the mountains. There is ample seating outside around the property to just sit and take in the nature. The rooms are super comfy and a good size for the price, especially if you go off-season.

Michael at the front desk was a tremendous help. The walls are a bit thin but nothing unusual for a hotel this age and the occupants are quiet.

• Albert (10/5): - The location was incredible and very peaceful. The receptionist was very helpful. On our last day, our 2.5 year-old kid broke a lamp. We brought the lamp to him asking for how much did we have to pay, and he acknowledged that it was an accident and there was nothing to worry about. This is one of those things that makes you return to a hotel. No breakfast

Started each morning on the deck overlooking mountains. Eco-friendly common area with toaster, brewed coffee, and microwave, room has everything else you need. Super friendly service - nice local feel. Emerald Lake is right up the road and the perfect spot to float the day away.

Location was great....Nice that it was not right on Rt 7A in a beautiful spot. Only minor issue was that there was a slight musty smell when entering the room. We live in CA so maybe the norm for back there. Not a big deal at all.

The innkeeper was fun and kind plus paid attention to every detail. Highly recommend! And fun fact “Aerie” (Eyrie) means nest particular a bald eagle. Loved the bald eagle decor.

Beautiful grounds well off the busy road, although when sitting outside the traffic could be heard. No breakfast but coffee and tea available as was a microwave.

The accommodations were decent - exactly what we expected for the low cost - and they had some unexpected nice touches like artisan soap and truffles. Took us 17 minutes to get to a spectacular short hike at Mt Equinox. Walls were a little thin.

So there were no replenishments of towels, coffee, etc. The TV had no signal on our second night and no one on site available to contact after early evening we were greeted by a lovely person and unfortunately the service did not continue.

I enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chair outside my unit enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. I higly recommend the Aerie Inn!
• Lynne (7/5): Aerie Inn is a comfortable place to stay, off the highway, which makes it quiet but not inconvenient - We needed a late check-in and the managers made that available by leaving the key in a box. The Inn didn't serve breakfast but they had coffee available and non-dairy milk, which we appreciated. There was a coffee maker in the room with coffee and tea (but not decaf tea). The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the area was quiet, there were a closet and plenty of drawer space, and a lamp on each side of the bed. We stayed two nights and were comfortable. The first night, there was a strong floral scent which caused us to keep the windows open. When I asked the man at the front desk about it, he said that they don't use any scents except perhaps the oil on the wood furniture. The next night, when we returned, I found a plug-in that was dispersing the scent. I put it outside. The person at the front desk the next morning had no knowledge of it.

• Jack (5/5): Full if surprises - The inn was spotless. Plenty of new-ish towels Sheets were new-ish and spotless. The bathroom was spotless. Nice little touches like chocolates and fancy shampoo The stuff couldn't be nicer Even the coffee was very nice It had an extremely , and I mean, extremely uncomfortable mattress. I was in pain all the next day . I understand mattresses are expensive , but. If that's the business you choose to be in. We'll that's a necessary expense. It's kind of like owning a really fancy restaurant with nice decor, fancy tables , and comfortable seats, but crappy food . I hate to say anything negative because the owners are very sweet. How ever , if I owned a hotel...or restaurant I would want.....no...I would NEED customers to be 100% honest. In all fairness , I didn't sleep on all the mattresses. Maybe I just had the one bad one.

• Luciano (10/5): Very nice stay. We would recommend and go again. - The place is very beautiful, you see the mountains around and there is a huge yard with flowers and chairs. Very clean, nice staff. There is no option for breakfast, you need to drive to the town. But they do have a very nice kitchen, so you can bring your food.

• Carollyn (10/5): Aerie Inn is our new go-to place to stay in Vermont. - Everything was recently renewed, and you could see that the new owners (lovely folks) were upgrading things. The grounds are really nice, park like actually, great for stargazing or Perseid meteor watching. The motel was shielded from the road by a row of mature trees, so quiet enough. Very comfortable beds too. Lots of good restaurants in the nearby town. I wish we could have stayed another night or two. Nothing not to like.
• Lincoln (10/5): Great little spot to get away - The location was amazing!! It’s not on top of a whole bunch of resorts, secluded and amazing views. Super nice ADK chairs to sit in and picnic tables. I would’ve loved to have a microwave in my room but it worked out just fine.
