- Doug (7/5): Pleasant overnighter - We liked the location and price as we were just passing through K.C. Next door to the hotel was an Oriental restaurant called the Volcano. One of the best Tempura 🍤 sushi roles I've ever had. Towels were thin and scratchy.

My room is close to the front so there is a lot of foot noise on concrete floors, which are what the hallways are. At least it’s by the freeway I guess.

Room gave off a musty gross smell. Stained carpets. Holes in the top spread on the bed. I would say this hotel was about a 2/10 stay.

- Wright (1/5): NEVER GO HERE - Nothing The whole place smells really badly like smoke. When we told them we had two kids with asthma they told us there were no refunds. They came to our room and asked if were were leaving then told us they would give us a refund. Once we left they went back to stating no refunds and then said that we could not have our rooms back because we checked out already. They were already booking the rooms for other people.
- Jay (2/5): - Some coworkers and I was returning to KC from a business trip. There was a Chiefs Game and Nascar race going on, open rooms were very hard to come by. We had limited options for rooms this late at night. We showed up to check in approx 10pm. There were 3 cop cars in the parking lot with two individuals being handcuffed and sitting on the curb. Entering the front lobby, the place reeked of pot. Looking down the halls from the front desk, there was a haze of smoke along with very dim lighting. The front desk has 1" thick bullet proof glass between the desk clerk and the lobby. An armed security guard was stationed in the front lobby. We immediately turned around and walked out and forfeited our room fees.

- E'Lexis (4/5): - Beds are terrible old and springy/rickety lobby looked great they still need work on the rooms though mine smelled old and mildew ish both beds had cigarette burns red stains on the walls looked like food honestly hope to god it wasn’t blood definitely could use a remodel door was jammy as well only needed it for one night so it served it’s purpose but probably won’t book again unless they do the rooms better

They even have soap and other amenities you may need at the front desk for a small fee. 🔥 Hot coffee 24/7 🔥....👉 No breakfast though 👎

People at the front desk seemed annoyed that they had to actually come to the desk to check me in. There was a burned cigarette in the peep hole of the room door. Pictures arent really the nicest but it was cheap so i wasnt expecting much to begin with but but pics are still 1000 times nicer/cleaner than what it really is in person

The other clients were respectful, and the staff was friendly and highly responsive. 5 stars! I cannot think of anything I would improve. I am definitely staying here again when back in Kansas City.

One of our friends who has health issues could not stay in the hotel. When asked for a refund he was told there were not any!! Unless you are a smoker I would not recommend this Inn

Front desk has thick plastic partition like banks have with a pass through window. Didn’t feel safe at any point
