Sharon (8/5): Good as a shopping rest stop - The location of the hotel was prime for shopping around Ximending. It’s also situated very close to a massage chain, ideal for tired feet. The space in the family room was generous as well so it’s comfortable for my family of 5. Beds were so hard that I wondered if I was sleeping on cardboard. Bathroom was very simple and dated.

Trong (10/5): - East Dragon Hotel was a great place to stay whilst in Taipei. the location is close to two MRTs which would get you around the city. Staff were friendly, the only downside is the bed it's firm but that's normal for east Asian cultures.

Diego (10/5): - I loved the location! The area was very walkable, safe and nearby eateries and shopping. I regularly went for walks alone at 3-4am, and felt completely safe. The a/c worked great, which was a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again. It's located just across the street from the Ximending pedestrian area, so you get immediate access without having to stay directly in the chaos.

Kellie (6/5): Affordable Hotel for short stay and close to Ximending - I like how accessible the hotel is to ximending and ximen station (5-6mins walk) as ximending is just across the street, there is a family mart just across as well and a few 7-11 within a few minutes of walk as well. I was staying on the 2nd floor, where there is a good view of ximending. Staffs were all very nice and kind with our requests, room cleaning was also well done, accommodated to our timing as well! Kudos to that :) Really appreciate it I did not like where there isn't a breakfast option, laundry room to do laundry and the closest one is about (7mins walk, near to Tai Sugar Hotel and Hello Kitty 7-11). There isn't much facilities in the hotel which is unfortunate and the pillows were very flat and it caused me to not get well rested. There was also noises coming from the walls almost every night, which caused me to lose sleep.

Jessen (2/5): - The only plus point about the hotel is that it’s right smack within the vicinity of Ximending and the night market. Other than that , the hotel felt damp and old. Aircon thermostat doesn’t work. Room has no heating function - we were there in winter where it was 8-12 degc and was freezing. Had to switch off the aircon and hide under the sheets as that’s the warmest the room could get to at night.

The position couldn’t have been better-next to Walking District shopping and markets (THE best place to stay!), 5 minutes walk to train station-both blue and green lines, as well as the bus stop. The hotel is lovely. It is renovated, clean and comfortable. My room was spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The staff are polite and friendly, but not intrusive. It didn’t make any weird noises during a morning earthquake!!! After exploring all of Taipei for a week I’m so happy I picked this location and this hotel!

Chen (8/5): Excellent stay, friendly staff, clean and friendly but weak wifi - Location is within 1 min walk to Xi Men Ting, There are plenty of food options near the hotel. Cleaning crew does an excellent job every day, cleaning and reception all very friendly too. Hotel looks dark at lobby, not very inviting but the reception is always friendly. There is a family mart just across the street and the place is super clean, no funny smell unlike some places. Wifi is terrible there. Luckily i borrowed a wifi device, i used that instead of hotel's weak wifi. Lift is small, 5 pax with some luggage already full capacity. hotel lobby is secretive, actually i think guests can sit there for buy in food but it's always seems off limit. No safe in room have to leave my passports with reception for the 4 days we stayed there. The walls are very thin, next room young children shouted, we can hear early in the morning. Bed is hard, even with 2 pillows my head can touch the mattress within few minutes.

kok hui (10/5): - stayed 7 nights in triple room , comes with a bathtub good for kids to soak and play bathbomb in it. walkable from XMD metro exit 6 , just opp yong he you tiao so its actually quite quiet surrounding from the hustle of xmd. Daily house cleaning available , good enough for daily sleeping. Corridor has water dispenser so can refill daily water from there.Opp street got a hidden coin laundry shop good for long stay. Overall for the price and location cant hiam liao since we just need a room to rest well. strongly recommeded for families with kids.

Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Great location, nice spacious room. However it will be great if there were more storage spaces (Eg wardrobe) and hooks to hang clothes. The lift is very small only can fit in 5 person at most.
