Guest Reviews
- Jackie (10/5): -
- Roger (10/5): Great country pub with accommodation - This was a great country pub with nicely appointed rooms. The shower was powerful and it was spotlessly clean
All the staff were genuinely friendly. We had a great meal in the evening and the breakfast was to a high standard. Nothing
- Gary (6/5): Small room, thought it was expensive for a standard room! - Clean, good breakfast Room too small for the price!
- Earis (10/5): - Lovely room, superb food and great staff. Would 100% return again.
- KRa2 (9/5): It wasn't far from Honiton - Cosy room, as advertised,.
The breakfast was ok, although the Chef should take note that the orange juice starts to ferment when left out too long.
The evening meal was exceptional
The staff were very friendly and helpful
The dog was friendly.
The price in the bar for drinks were a little higher than anticipated
The food is a medium eats pub, you wont get a meal for much under ÂŁ18.00
Normal sized portions.
They provide with the tea and coffee in the room, lactose free milk if you request it. Nice biscuits too.
Lovely view across the fields and the main road.
Room was quiet apart from the odd lorry and Tractor rambling along the lane.
The shower kept its temperature when set to warm/hot, the pressure was good The bed was rock hard.
The extra duvet provided didn't make it softer for that reason I didn't sleep in the room well.
The shower was smaller than expected,
The shower wouldn't turn down to cool or cold.
The water pressure made a banging noise whenever someone used it, no matter what room you were in, you heard someone else's water pressure but you didn't hear their shower or toilet flush. You didn't need an alarm wake up call because of this.

The room was a bit small but adequate. The shower space was big but there was little water pressure, so the shower was not very strong. A couple of bottles of water were supplied every day. The water pressure to the shower could be improved.

LâauthenticitĂ© du bĂątiment ; la propretĂ© de lâĂ©tablissement et notre jolie chambre, un tantinet petite mais cosy. Rien Ă signaler

- Jodi (10/5): Hit the spot in many ways! Thanks - The evening and breakfast food was lovely - piping hot and fresh. Tasted fab and portions are a good size. My room was lovely, cosy and clean. The pub is welcoming and is clearly a favourite with local people as I could hear staff have conversations with names being used. The service here was fantastic. I was a lone female travelling for work and felt at ease the whole time with the staff. The younger serving dinning staff were helpful, polite, friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again. Weather was poor for my stay but the grounds are lovely with great views from my room.

- alan (9/5): The Greyhound is a great place to stay. Highly recommended - The room was very well appointed with modern fittings, good storage space, tea and coffee plus a bottle of water each. It was very warm and well heated throughout. The bar and restaurant were excellent and the breakfast was superb. Jus a couple of small things. 1. get rid of the cona coffee pots at breakfast and put in a modern coffee machine.
2. The food and drink prices were a bit high for a pub, but the quality was good as was the service.
