There was complimentary tea, coffee shampoo etc The shower had good water pressure and there was plenty of hot water. The toilet bowl water always looked yellow as the toilet needed descaling. The shower screen could have been cleaner. The carpet was very worn and had not been vacuumed thoroughly.

- Colin (6/5): - Location was good for me. Bedding was clean. Dirty stair carpet. Bedroom carpet needs a clean. Bathroom floor dusty and dirty with broken floor tile. Velux window blind lets in light due to poor fitting. TV bracket needs adjusting as TV hangs down. I had to prop tv up with a drawer to watch TV. I had to wash the cup and spoon before use as they were stained.
- Derek (9/5): Friendly Hotel. - The location was good for the quieter end of Blackpool. Not so rowdy when walking around to find somewhere to eat and you feel safe. However it's not far from the excitement when you need to get to it. I arrived in my car and found it almost impossible to park. Most of the roadside places are limited time pay and display or permit holders only. It's apparently ideal if you travel by train.

- Pat (5/5): Affordable basic accommodation in a good location - Great location a few minutes walk from the rail station, town centre and very close to the sea front. Quiet road, never heard a thing outside in the night. There were drawers and a small hanging rail with three hangers, plus tea and coffee facilities. The TV was small but had all the usual channels. Toiletries provided, including hair conditioner which is unusual and appreciated. Owner welcoming, just a shame about the building. Tiny room, bed is under the window and there was a chilly draught as the window didn't seal properly when closed. Dangerous glass shelf in bathroom partly over the sink, the sharp corner could catch someone’s eye if not careful. Towels felt damp on my arrival, I managed to dry the bigger one over the radiator, but of course that blocked the heat from reaching the room. Very little floor space to stow luggage etc., quite claustrophobic. If you sat on the (folding) chair to watch the TV you couldn't get past it to the bathroom.

I was able to walk the promenade, get to the town centre, the railway station, and to shops very easily. - Brian (6/5): Basic all round - Twin attic room at the top, the shower looked like it needed a good clean and it had a really musty smell, the bed was too hard and everything was a bit tired, there were toiletries provided and the towels were clean. The man who received us was pleasant and available on arrival (he let us in a bit earlier which was much appreciated) I suspect the other rooms were better according to the reviews.

- Gabriele (1/5): Never again my body is still itching from it - Was 1/2 minutes walk from all the action The room had a funny very unpleasant smell ,the toilet wasn’t clean had urine stains and fece had to clean my self and the bin in toilets had rubbish in it, the sink had toothpaste stains not probably from the night before ,the bedding had stains and long hairs the bedding almost looked like someone had slept the night before had to go and buy fe breeze to spray all over the bedding and the room The mug to make my self a coffee was absolutely disgusting had lips stains
