Sum27865 (2/5): Dont bother - Very disappointed. Hotel/bedroom and pool areas need a huge overhaul and modernisation. Room is not too bad but not what you would expect of a 5 star hotel. Rust on bathroom unit, furniture outdated and limited facilities for tea/coffee etc. Pool loungers are old and the tablea are rusty and old. The only place currently open to eat is the buffet, none of the other restaurants are open despite the website stating they are open all year round. Pool.bars are not good, need a good upgrade, they are not open in evening so only place you can get a drink is main lobby and its packed so cant sit anywhere. Cocktails are not great quality and just served in a plastic cup,. No luxury to any of it. No atmosphere in the hotel. Food in buffet is basic and repetitive to say the least but as there is nowhere else to go there is no choice. Overall not what I expected and the webaite is deceiving people into thinking its 5 star luxury with many year round dining options and this is not the case.
marinatP9447QB (2/5): Misleading 5-Star Claim and Very Disappointing Stay at Labranda Royal Makadi - We stayed at Labranda Royal Makadi in October, traveling as two couples, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, with the added promise that choosing Labranda Royal over Labranda Club Makadi would give us additional access and a more premium experience. In reality, this was completely misleading. There are no clear delimitations between the two hotels, no signage explaining boundaries, yet if you happen to sit on a lounger in a different color section — even though you’ve booked the so-called 5-star option — you are quickly approached and even harassed by security. It felt unwelcoming and unnecessarily hostile. The property itself is extremely outdated and nowhere near 5-star standards. Around the pool, several tiles are broken, posing an actual safety risk. The loungers are old and worn out. The beach restaurant is fitted with plastic chain curtains that look cheap and neglected rather than stylish or functional. The rooms were equally disappointing. The furnishings are old, bedding feels dated, and the towels are clearly overused. The bathroom had visible rust, and both the bathtub and shower curtain looked aged and unclean. Overall, the room lacked the comfort and freshness you would expect from a hotel marketed at this level. Food quality was another major letdown. Breakfast and lunch were especially poor, with very limited salad options and low-quality ingredients throughout. The morning sausages tasted artificial — almost chalk-like — and the deli meats were simply unpleasant. Variety and freshness were lacking across the board. To be fair, the beach itself is large and overall quite nice. There is plenty of space, and the setting has potential. However, the entrance to the coral area on the right side is not maintained or properly managed. All that would be needed is a clearly created and safe entry point, which would significantly improve the experience for guests who want to snorkel. As it stands, the way people are currently entering the water there is quite dangerous, with no proper guidance or safe pathway over the rocks. In summary, this hotel does not meet 5-star standards in terms of facilities, maintenance, food quality, or guest experience. With significant renovation and better organization, it could improve, but based on our stay, we would not return and would not recommend it to travelers expecting a true 5-star resort experience.

Limbu (10/5): Wonderful and expressive. I recommend making the most of your stay, do it all! - Everything from the chosen covers and pillows to the staff and entertainment team. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, I was greeted well, offered numerous activities and did a lot of tourist activities thanks to the man working at the taxi service. I am very grateful for him and the entertainment team that would host the evenings and activities during then. Even in the morning and midday. I do wish the rooms came with a T.V that had Netflix or applications like that. I found it such a shame that I could not wind down after a long day watching a favourite show or movie. I would have loved to have that.

foxbar (10/5): first stay but wont be our last great staff and lovely hotel - we were supposed to be staying at the labranda makadi beach when we arrived it was in darkness / closed and had been for a number of weeks ( we were not even informed by easy jet holidays before leaving home or during the transfer by the easyjet reps) fortunately our coach driver spoke to a security guard outside the closed hotel who advised that we should try the jaz royal palmariva which was close by and fortunately the did have us on their system so maybe we lucked out in the end because this hotel was all we could ask for the location on the beach ideal ,plenty of sun loungers with cushions many pools and one of which is heated (the one with the swim up bar the food in the restaurant was excellent at breakfast lunch and dinner the choices were amazing and varied every night . drinks are local brands but the barmen make many cocktails so it always tastes good the lager is also very good sort of budweiser tasting but the best thing about the hotel were the staff from the barmen to the waiters and ground staff and cleaning staff (especially always smiling guy who kept our room 1425 spotless ) animation team work tirelessly and there was entertainment every evening usually a couple of singers so overall i would recommend a visit to this hotel we will definitely be returning ps on our last day the text from easyjet holidays said we would be picked up at our original hotel ! so we were a bit anxious and wondered whether we should go to it and wait there but we eventually phoned the transfer company who new where we were and arrived bang on time for the journey home

Сотрудники ресепшн также приветливы и возникающие вопросы решают оперативно. Номер вполне устроил. Еда в главном ресторане была не очень. Были в этом отеле лет 5-7 назад, было заметно лучше. Официанты в главном ресторане (столики на улице) забыли кто они - там доллары в глазах.

The food was tasty specially at Italian restaurant. The beach very good and clean sandy. The swimming pool was good also .the sea was perfect to swimming and enjoying. Climber30364638207 (8/5): Nice stay, great animation - We stayed at the hotel when it was changing from Labranda to Jaz so there were a few changes in the week we were there. In the beginning we weren’t really satisfied, but the more the hotel started changing to the end of our stay the better it got. To be honest I think in a few years (if they renovate the rooms, the furniture outside and the floor around the swimming pools) it will be a real luxurious hotel. The people working in the hotel were really nice with a special shout out to Abdo from the animation team, he really made our stay so nice! The cocktails and the food were okay, but I think it will improve in time as well. The animation team did a great job, there was a lot to do during the day. Overall we enjoyes our stay and were sad to leave. By the way: Mustafa makes the best cocktails.
337leamarier (10/5): A Hotel that take memories. - The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, right on the beach. There are plenty of sun loungers available, both on the beach and by the pool. There's a restaurant located right on the beach, as well as a main restaurant in the hotel itself. Nobody will go hungry here, that's for sure. However, the rooms should be renovated as they look very old. The pillows on the bed are very hard, and the curtains and the bathroom are quite outdated. The animation team is truly excellent. They offer a wide variety of activities. In addition, a very friendly DJ plays music for you throughout the day and in the evenings, perfect for dancing or simply relaxing.
Alexander (7/5): - The beach was lovely, nice and sandy and great for kids. The rooms were clean, the staff were nice, loads of food options. However, the change from Labranda to Jaz is definitely a downgrade. Whilst we were there, the policy changed from 2 to 1 a la carte restaurants per week, with an additional charge for the Greek restaurant that had not been the policy at the beginning of the week. The water bottle fridges disappeared from the beach during our stay. 3 of our evening meals changed to the beach restaurant, whilst the Jaz team refurbished the main restaurant. The beach restaurant was very overcrowded and we struggled to find a seat. Also the English speaking movie channel vanished mid stay so there was nothing on the TV for us to watch. I really enjoyed my stay at the Labranda Royal Makadi, less so at the rebranded Jaz Royal Palmariva.

ANDREA (5/5): Non all'altezza delle aspettative.... - Abbiamo trascorso, presso questa struttura, 2 settimane nel periodo estivo insieme ad una famiglia di amici usufruendo della formula all-inclusive. Il villaggio in precedenza si chiamava "Labranda Royal Makadi" e prevede quasi esclusivamente una frequentazione di turisti dell'Est Europa (prevalentemente russi) o locali. Nello scegliere la struttura siamo stati attratti dalle positive recensioni lette ; ma la realtà ha completamente disatteso le nostre aspettative. Una delle poche cose positive che possiamo evidenziare è il contesto in cui sorge la struttura con belle piscine ed aree verdi ben curate e tenute che circondano le camere. Tante invece sono state le cose negative relative al soggiorno. La cucina è forse la cosa peggiore ; estremamente ripetitiva e sicuramente non di qualità. Colazione e pranzo vengono serviti in un ristorante in prossimità della spiaggia, senza aria condizionata, e con uccellini che banchettano nei piatti degli ospiti. Nelle giornate calde il pranzo diventa una vera e propria sofferenza. Le cene "a tema" prevedono invece sempre gli stessi cibi ripetuti. Le camere ed i bagni non possono essere sicuramente ritenute all'altezza di un 5 stelle, andrebbero rimodernate ; l'aria condizionata (assolutamente necessaria) è abbastanza rumorosa. In spiaggia e nelle piscine sono presenti lettini ed ombrelloni che, al mattino presto, vengono prontamente occupati con la posa di asciugamani e, a volte, è difficile trovare un posto libero. Il mare non è nulla di spettacolare, a volte è molto sporco ; la barriera corallina è molto distante ed è accessibile solamente tramite un isolotto vicino (non è possibile utilizzare i pontili dei resort adiacenti per accedere alla barriera). Nel resort è presente una palestra che si trova in prossimità della spiaggia ma non è dotata di aria condizionata ; pertanto è quasi sempre inutilizzabile a causa del caldo eccessivo. Da ultimo la plastica la fa da padrona ; è possibile usufruire di bottigliette d'acqua da bere attingendo in autonomia da frigoriferi sulla spiaggia. Peccato però che la plastica venga poi abbandonata ovunque, sia in spiaggia, sia nel mare. Le spiagge al di fuori del villaggio sono delle distese di plastica abbandonata e non vengono mai pulite. Per concludere direi.... una vera e propria delusione.....peccato.

Just wish the live entertainment was in our hotel and not at the club hotel next door. Plus drinks are not free at that hotel. The reps for the beauty salon are very pushy don't give up until you go. My sisters experience there was not pleasant. Told them she was allergic to smells and has numerous allergies. No problem they said everything is natural. She had a bad incident in there and couldn't finish the session. They didn't seem to be bothered . More bothered about the money she left traumatised. For the hotel to be 5 star it needs the rooms upgradeding. They are very tired. Food was ok nothing to write home about. Themed food nights on most nights. All in all we had a nice stay but would not rate hotel as being 5 stars

cristiandU2731WQ (8/5): Shopping trip to Hurghada from Labranda Royal Makadi Bay - I went with another 3 persons from this hotel to Hurghada with 1premierguide. The driver was super, he came right on time and took us to Hurghada and broght us back for the right price: 10$ for all 4 of us. All the trip took about 3 hours. The driver waited for us at the stores, talked to us and made a lot of jokes with us and tried to make us to feel more than confortable. The 1premierguide offered to us very good prices for trips to Luxor and on the Utopia Island so I can recommend this guide. About the hotel all I can say is that it was a good experience for me and my friends, but they tried to get tips for everything: even from the first night when we arrived there and continued with the beach bar where was a waiter that asked me and my friends a few times why are we going there so often (when we had in this resort all inclusive services) and we even had to give tips for the slippers, that we should found theme in our rooms. The others from the hotel were very good and professional workers but because of these that I mentioned above I cannot give theme ”excellent” as a grade.

A8842SBnatashah (8/5): We had a lovely time - We had a great stay at the hotel with only a few issues. The hotel is at a lovely location on the Makadi Bay with a great beach. The food was excellent with the main buffet doing different themes every night. As there are so many a la carte restaurants, there is so much choice. The all inclusive deal was definitely worth it due to the variety of food and drinks. With numerous pools and beach access there were always sunbeds available as well. Rooms were kept nice and clean, although decor was a little dated. The animation team also did a great job at putting on entertainment every night, including one night with fireworks and dancers. The only issues we had were with the reception staff. We had an issue on the first night with getting the correct room we booked; this was late at night and we were given two different insufficient rooms before they gave us the correct room we had paid for. Additionally, one night a cat was stuck high up in a tree and this was reported to reception twice who claimed to be sending someone but no one came, eventually I ended up getting the cat down myself with the help of some restaurant staff. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the hotel to others!

GH_C23 (2/5): Appalling - book eleswhere - Apologies it’s a long one but this score needs context. The hotel is basically very tired - tatty everywhere & pretty grubby in a number of places, especially around the pool where the ground is nasty churned up concrete/sand mix littered with cigarette butts & wrappers. It’s 4 star at best - we stayed at another 5 star around the bay only a month ago & it was a different level entirely, making this hotel very disappointing. Our room was cleaned well every day though - Taha was thorough, polite & respectful, he deserves a recommendation, & a pay rise. The food choices were the same every meal, especially at breakfast. Generally over-cooked & meat very dry. Don’t get fooled by lots of eating choices - you can only visit 2 of the a la carte restaurants in the week which means the main restaurant is carnage every evening. The 2 restaurants we visited were poor in quality. Staff are pretty bad generally, those who care & work hard must find it very frustrating & this is the thing that lets everything down in the hotel. Staff are rarely around for service, are uninterested & smoking all over the resort. They don’t understand the need to be professional rather than over-familiar - these are paying guests not mates in a bar. Some of the bar staff were actually quite rude to a number of guests which was shocking to witness. Even reception staff were unhelpful & most can’t speak English or German well enough to help guests. We had to get our own drinks at every meal from the outside bars, we had to lay our own table with cutlery every dinner time. Don’t expect any drinks service around the pool, restaurant or beach unless you tip every time - mainly the older guests do this. Bar staff didn’t properly clean glasses before re-using them for the next guests - just rinsed them under tap (if at all) having cleared them from tables or the beach! We were hassled constantly by staff trying to promote or sell something, even when talking/sleeping on sun loungers & when having dinner. These staff members consisted of the entertainment team promoting stuff, diving/excursions team, tattoos, beauty, spa - literally every 20 mins. The only place this didn’t happen was the Coco Lounge area which you have to pay to use & you have to pay for drinks there too as it’s not included in AI. The staff in Coco Lounge were excellent however - professional, attentive but not over-bearing. A very relaxing experience with good level music & we ended up spending several days there at extra cost. It’s a shame the rest of the resort doesn’t match this atmosphere! 3 times we were actually asked by staff wondering around the hotel if we had money to give them, I can only assume for tips & they all spend a lot more time than is appropriate talking (bordering on hassling) younger teenage female guests. We had an incident where my daughter left her mobile on the bar when getting a cup of tea - they denied all knowledge of it until I showed I could see on the tracker it was still there & a manager came over. Suddenly it appeared. We were told twice at reception we could book late check out the day before departure. Then on that day were told we had to book it early in the morning of departure. When we got there we were told to go & get the room keys to reset the room timing - this lack of helpful accurate information was ridiculous. It’s worth mentioning the gardeners work really hard on the gardens. There is loud music constantly, before 10am with entertainment staff dancing around pool for some unknown reason & very loud music during dinner (kids songs one evening!) - not just loud but loud loud - from massive speakers on the stage. This hotel really doesn’t get the concept that blasting music is not necessary 24 hours a day nor understand that people spend a lot of money to holiday for a relaxing break. Coco Night Club (on the beach) is booming music every night until 2am which can be heard across all the accommodation. This attitude by staff seems to be ignored by management who seem to just wonder around looking important but rarely seem to do anything to guide staff in professional appropriate behaviour. It’s very easy to get the right level of professional & friendly - they obviously don’t really care. This experience is not common across Egypt as we haven’t experienced it other hotels. Lastly, the evening entertainment I’m afraid is dire, picture 1980’s working men’s club. All in all an experience we won’t be repeating & we would definitely not recommend it to others.

The reason for our immediate departure was solely due to the profoundly unprofessional and disrespectful treatment we received from the front desk agent, Hany. His demeanor was dismissive, unaccommodating, and outright hostile from the moment we approached the counter. This was not a simple misunderstanding; it was a complete failure of basic guest service principles—the very foundation of our industry. In the banquet world, the first impression is everything. The front desk is a hotel's "first impression," and Hany's service would be unacceptable in any professional setting. It is a serious indictment of this hotel's management and training programs when a hospitality professional feels compelled to leave. I would not recommend this property to any traveler. The facilities may be beautiful, but they are utterly worthless without a foundation of respectful and competent service.

darrenpD3797SH (6/5): All inclusive.....not really though - We chose this hotel after searching for a long time and mostly comparing hotels in Hurghada. Most were in Makadi Bay and all had a good average rating. So, expectations were high and honestly, the experience didn't quite meet them. It's a long review, sorry :-) There are good things to point out: 1) The pools are large and not overly populated (July and early August). You don't need to rush out early to get beds, which is most welcome nowadays. The pool beds are super-comfortable, the pool is clean and large. The only thing is the floor around the pool is crumbly & dusty and sticks to your feet 2) The beach is well equipped and plentiful beds too. The sand isn't great, but is similar to other places in Egypt 3) The a-la-carte food is very good. Italian and Sushi great 4) Cleanliness is good throughout 5) Lifeguards are very good and friendly. Some pool waiting staff are too We had a nice holiday overall. There were some things which we didn't like though and it did sour our time: 1) We have 2 teenage children and we have been having all inclusive holidays for the convenience of costs up front and not having to keep paying for things. Labranda Royal Makadi feels like it is always looking for ways to make extra money from the guests. We have been to many 5 star hotels in Turkey and Egypt and expect there will be some premium costs. E.g. fresh orange juice at breakfast, branded drinks. This hotel goes much further. The cocktail drinks are literally thrown into the glass, with a splash of the cheapest non-branded spirit like Rum, Vodka. There is only 5 to choose from. You can't even get a Pina Colada without paying extra. The choice is so limited without paying extra 2) Tips ! Maybe I am not the most generous with tips. But I strongly feel that people deserve tips for offering a good service or going a bit above. I tip the drivers to and from the hotel. I tipped the room cleaner as he did a fantastic job and I know they are low paid. It felt that the whole staff wanted tips for not doing much. E.g. taking you to your room, the a la carte restaurants (although they were good service), the waiters etc. I really don't want to be carrying money around with me in an all inclusive and was made to feel bad by a lot of staff. Some made it pretty obvious too ! The worst was when a waiter walked around the bar tables by the pool one evening, waving a wedge of notes asking people for money. Another waiter went up to customers at breakfast asking for tips.....even though they hadn't served us ! 3) The reception desk staff barely told us anything on arrival. All we got was a photcopied map of the hotel (Royal). We had been there 4 days before we realised that the Club Makadi was easy to walk to. We were also told that they would not serve us drinks (or food) as the wrist bands were a different colour. 4) We couldn't book late checkout until the morning of the day of departure. This meant we had to get up early to find out on the day 5) There is a bar and nightclub on the beach. It is a beautiful location - but guess what, drinks are not all inclusive. Probably why it is deserted most evenings. The music is pretty loud by the way and very much heard in your rooms 6) Lack of evening entertainment. There is an amphitheatre in the Club Makadi. There are some shows of average quality and it is very warm there. Hardly anything at Royal other than some poor singers...and can we get drinks there ? 7) Pool entertainment is sparse. Water aerobics once a day, some darts, yoga, bacha. There may be some more down at the beach (volleyball, football). It feels like the entertainment staff come out for an hour and then disappear. Some of the male entertainers are more concerned about meeting female guests. Worse still, they seem to gravitate to underage girls too. Even though they clearly have different coloured wristbands on. This was very obvious and appauling. There is clearly an after hours agenda. 8) The buffet food was repetitive and low on choice and it is difficult to get a x4 table. Difficult to get served drinks. There are some outside specials each night, which are often nice, and some theme dessert nights inside which are good. Other than than, mostly the same each night. We had a vegetarian in our party and the labelling of vegetarian food is not good at all. There is also no separation of cooking vegetarian food at the breakfast/lunch either (e.g. omlettes). 9) The beach buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch is a busy & sweaty environment with many small birds flying around inside. The only other places to eat in the day is a stall at the beach for chips and hot dogs (sausages in with chip fryer, i.e. not vegetarian) and another stall near the pools for chips and a daily choice (hot dogs, burgers, liver !?). These stalls are time limited. There is only ice cream in the beach buffet, unless you pay. I've rambled on long enough - you get the gist of our stay. A good holiday but disappointed in the hotel. I'd rate this as a 4 star hotel not 5. My score is only 3 because of the reasons above. I must say that we did a couple of trips through the tripadvisor site, one to Orange Bay Island and one to Luxor. Luxor was amazing and bucket list trip.....long day though ! I hope this helps in contrast to the majority of the reviews on here, which don't seem to pick these downfalls up much.

The food was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options each day. The pool area was well-maintained and perfect for both relaxing and enjoying the sun. I also appreciated the entertainment and overall positive vibe of the place. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would gladly return again.

The hotel itself is beautiful – from the spacious pools and the stunning beach to the comfortable, clean rooms. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hospitality of most of the staff. Everyone was generally very kind, friendly, and always willing to help. We would especially like to mention Mahmoud, who cleaned our room with such care, dedication, and attention to detail – he truly made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Also, a special thank you goes to Ziad, the waiter at lunch and dinner, who is without a doubt the warmest, most polite, and most attentive waiter I have ever met. He genuinely made every evening more pleasant and memorable. In terms of improvements, we did notice that the reception staff could work on their hospitality and friendliness, as the first impression is very important. Additionally, one of the waiters serving around the pool (the one with curly hair) was quite rude and unprofessional, which was disappointing and not in line with the otherwise high level of service in the hotel. By contrast, his colleague was excellent. We would also suggest introducing a shuttle service to Hurghada for guests, as well as to Labranda Club for evenning activities. All in all, we loved our stay and are grateful for the wonderful memories we made. With just a few improvements, this resort has the potential to be absolutely perfect. We will gladly recommend it to our friends and family.

The disco cocoloco bar charge 3x as much as uk prices for drinks 1 beer 7 euros wow! The rooms were ok clean .waiting staff was under pressure under paid over worked. Too far from civilisation to go anywhere u need a cab from the hotel costing 40 to 60 euros. I suggested they should provide a bus once a day into city free of charge but was lamed with silly excuses. On leaving they insisted I pay for drinks that I never had in the mini bar in my room but paid anyway. Rude reception staff will never stay here again been to Egypt 11 times this was a very bad experience at this hotel.no go from me

Krzysiek1982 (6/5): Not bad, but not enough for a 5-star hotel in Egypt - Comparing to other 5-star hotels I had visited in Egypt before, this one was below average standard (to be fair, previously I visited Marsa Alam region only, not Hurghada, so perhaps it's not comparable). What I didn't like here: 1. First disappointment came just upon our arrival at the hotel - we arrived late at night (around 1.30 am) and it was impossible to get anything to drink after long travel. Not only there were no welcome drinks waiting for us, but even as I went to the lobby bar (it was already closed, but one bartender was still there) and asked if I can get anything to drink, I was told I can not. 2. Breakfast and lunch were served in mostly outdoor area (with only small number of tables located in indoor, air-conditioned area) - with air temperature around 35 degrees Celsius, it was not comfortable to eat there. 3. The resort doesn't have a jetty to coral reef, and it is not allowed to use jetties from hotels next to Labranda (at least not free-of-charge). It seems that it is possible to get to coral reef via beach/water (I saw some people snorkeling there), but I cannot confirm if for sure as unfortunately I didn't take my water shoes with me and it was impossible to get to the reef barefoot (the water was too shallow to swim). 4. It might seem like a very minor thing, but it was highly uncomfortable for us that there was no electrical outlet in the room located close enough to bed, so that you could use your phone while lying in the bed and charge it at the same time. Some might say you don't go on vacation to scroll your smartphone for the whole day. But when you go back to your room after a whole day, with battery almost completely discharged, you would expect you can relax in bed using your smartphone (in one way or another), while charging it in the same time. Here it was impossible. Despite below inconveniences, still the resort is quite nice. So let me list some good things as well: 1. Even though we didn't get up earlier to 'reserve' a sunbed (as many travelers do in Egypt), we always found some unoccupied ones, even at 10 am or later (easier to find at the pool, however, more difficult on the beach). 2. The resort is well maintained, it's clean (inside and outside), a lots of greenery, etc. 3. It's quite close from the airport (around 30 minutes drive). 4. There are refrigerators full of bottled water at the beach area - you can take as many bottles as you want each day. 5. Wi-Fi is available in the whole resort (including rooms), however, the quality was so-so (personally I used Egyptian e-SIM card which I bought before coming to Egypt and it worked much better).

R9609BXlouiseh (8/5): Great experience overall - My friend and I recently stayed at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed by the wonderful staff. They were incredibly attentive and always willing to assist us. The animation team organised a wide range of activities suitable for all skill levels, which we greatly enjoyed. Our experience was particularly enhanced by the new entertainment team members, Rio and Deboo, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The food was excellent, and the all-inclusive cocktails were a delightful treat. Food all cooked fresh nothing old and lots of choice of fruits and salads. One thing that did let this hotel down was the persistent extra excursions and spa staff pushing for us to do things. Sometimes making uncomfortable comments and asking us 4-5 times a day for the same thing. This is something minor but something to improve on as a hotel. I would happily recommend this hotel to both friends and families, and we would certainly consider returning in the future.
E1714WXannad (8/5): Fabulous animation and bar staff - Myself and friend come to Egypt for a seven day holiday and had a great time exploring the area through day trips. We stayed at the Labranda Royal Makadi hotel and over all had a lovely experience with their amazing animation team. Rio, Deboo and the head of the animation went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, and were amazing at getting us involved whilst ensuring they were being pushy. The food was lovely and the bar staff where friendly and very welcoming. Over all I would recommend this to all my friends and family. The only downside was the excursion staff that could be very forward and pushy which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

701evelink (10/5): Very good - I loved the variaty of food. Every night was specialized for different types of food from all roznd the world. Also everything was clean and the hotel was cozy. The best thisng is the location because it is right next to the sea full of corals and colourful fish. I also liked the animation team that was fun and brought various actuvities.
