Antonio (10/5): A gem in Ferrara - I cannot be more positive about The Dome. The room was huge and centrally located in a pedestrian zone. My huge window faced the Duomo and the nearby Estense Castle. There is no breakfast but there are plenty of food shops just below the Hotel. It even has a McDonalds in the same building complex. It is a 20 minute walk to the rail station, but there are many bus stops in the Hotel area. The buses stop just outside the rail station. The stops are a 5 minute walk to the Hotel. I have never experienced a place with such great lighting. Since it is a pedestrian zone below as this is Ferrara's main Piazza there is foot traffic till mid-night. If you shut the window and use the earplugs which the Hotel automatically supplies (thank you to Sonia, the chambermaid) you do not hear the voices below. The Hotel also supplied a sewing kit automatically. It was convenient for me as I had loose buttons on my long pants and shorts and took care of them with the kit. The area has restaurants galore just below the rooms. The Dome also has a Sky-bar serving good food and drink at reasonable prices. The Dome restaurant is on the same level as my room. I was impressed with everything. There were absolutely no negatives. The staff (Giorgia and Elisa) made touristic suggestions which were valuable to me.

Gradita l'acqua nel frigo bar, the, caffè a disposizione gratuitamente. Camera non recentissima ma pulita, bagno molto spazioso. Letto comodo. Torneremo per provare anche il bar che ha vista altrettanto bella Rumore nel pomeriggio perché è il momento in cui il centro é super affollato e alcuni musicanti non sono piacevolissimi, in serata però tutto si tranquillizza. A disposizione tappi per le orecchie Cuscini troppo rigidi

Paola (9/5): - La posizione, la stanza molto ampia che si affaccia sul Duomo di Ferrara Alcune problematiche della struttura sono: assenza di colazione, sebbene in ogni stanza ci siano macchina Nespresso e bollitore. Tuttavia, avendo un bar panoramico - aperto solo la sera - ci si domanda perché non sia possibile averlo aperto di mattina per una colazione in posizione splendida. Sarebbe un target eccezionale! Inoltre, per chi non ama il rumore, è bene verificare che non ci siano eventi nella piazza sottostante (piazza Trento e Trieste) che impediscano qualsiasi sonno o riposo la sera, fino a notte tarda. Il rumore, nel mio caso, è stato legato a un evento con musica tecno a tutto volume fino a ca. l'una di notte. Non ci si ripara, nonostante i tappi per le orecchie, non a caso date dalla stessa struttura!

Fugen Schlossverkleidung beschädigung ab der Duschwanne. Solche Sachen könnten schnell Behoben werden und würde sofort noch einen sauberen und schönen Eindruck hinterlassen. Jeweils am 0600 erwacht da Altglas draussen entsorgt wurde. Das ist schade.

Ronald G. (8/5): Great Bed. - This is a perfectly fine hotel, requiring no more than usual patience for hot water. The WiFi s fine; I didn’t try the TV. You are absolutely in the center of town, just stepping out. It’s a wonderful, elegant surprise. However, the front door is inconspicuous underneath a lovely Renaissance portico, so take note when you leave the first time how to recognize your way back. It is a bit noisier than I experienced elsewhere in my current trip around North Italy, but, unexpectedly, I slept best here of all because the bed they had for me was superb. Going to bed at night was a joy.

Bernhard (10/5): Ideale Lage und wunderbares historisches Hotel - Ideale Lage und wunderbares historisches Hotel Das Hotel liegt perfekt – besonders, wenn man mit dem Zug anreist. Tram, Bus und Metro befinden sich direkt in der Nähe. Das rund 170 Jahre alte Gebäude mit den für Turin typischen Arkaden ist hervorragend unterhalten und versprüht viel Charme. Die Zimmer sind gross, sehr sauber und alles funktioniert tadellos. Trotz des Alters ist das Haus bestens gepflegt. Das Personal ist professionell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und von sehr guter Qualität. Ein rundum empfehlenswerter Ort, um diese grosszügige und saubere Stadt zu entdecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
