• Adilah (7/5): Good for a night stay - Great location. Courteous staff. Nice greenery in front of the building, and love the lovely cafe outside. Overall the hotel lounge, corridor & rooms are in need of refurbishment. Toilet was small.

• SMHH (1/5): Sangat mengecewakan. - Breakfast so far ok. Location strategic. Sorry to say, aircond so so. Facilities toilet banyak rosak. Sarung bantal sepatutnya tukar baru. Keadaan di cafe semasa breakfast lantai berair bahagian buffet.

• remy_lebeau (6/5): Noisy & Smoke Filled - Location wise, Jerai Hotel is quite strategic. City Plaza is 5 mins walk away from the hotel, while the Alor Setar KTM station is just 15-20mins away. You could easily reach a lot of shops that surround the hotel within a 5-15mins walk. To top it off, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The room door has about gap below, which makes it not exactly soundproof. You could hear people talking along the hallway, opening and closing their doors. To make matters worse, despite being on a non-smoking floor, and thanks to the gap under your door, you could smell all the secondhand cigarette smoke from the guests smoking in the hallway. This happened in the evening and also a few times in middle of the night. Again, this is a non-smoking floor I was in and yet, this happened. If you wanted a peaceful night's sleep and a really smoke-free room on an actual non-smoking floor, this is the hotel to avoid.

• SHUHAIROZ (10/5): The hotel makes my day and both me and my son pretty much enjoy our stay. - The location is very near to the ETS station whereby i commuted with from Kuala Lumpur, the parking is spacious, there is a cafe at the parking lot in front of the hotel where we can dine at night and the breakfast offer variety of delicious food especially nasi lemak. The best thing is the hotel keeps the data of your previous stay and you can recall when is the last time you stay there. I found that very fascinating and excellent. If I need to comment, there should be non-smoking rooms. Like maybe, reserve a few rooms or maybe one floor for non-smoking room and a viewable TV channel.

Not too many options but it keeps your stomach full The ac was not cold and after breakfast we head back to room to find that ceiling was leaking inside the toilet. Fixed by the staff. We took a nap while waiting to check out, suddenly we heard that our door was open. A bit surprised that it’s still early for check out time and luckily we’re not naked. Please be more alert on this

• Cees (4/5): - De entree inc. lounge en het ontbijt , zeer goed verzorgd. Na een prachtige entree van het hotel was de kamer een grote deceptie. Erg klein bed, geen nachtkastje aan de linkerzijde van bed. Veel geluid van buitenaf. Meubilair erg simpel. In de badkamer zat de toiletbril los en zeepbakje was half uit de muur getrokken. S'morgens geen warm water uit de douche.
