- D3924WDbrianm (10/5): Fabulous! - This was our 2nd stay at The Desert Pearl. There were 12 of us and an infant in 4 rooms across different dates and the staff really did a great job. I called 3 or 4 times to make changes and they were always willing to help. Our stay was fabulous. They made sure the 4 rooms were close. The front desk staff throughout our stay answered all of our questions and made accurate suggestions. The rooms were great. Spacious, clean and the views from our balcony were awesome. The cleaning staff does a great job and are super friendly. They really deserve a pat on the back. There is a bus stop right in front of the Inn that will take you anywhere in town and to the park. Thank you to everyone at the Desert Pearl Inn for making our family vacation memorable.

Small kitchen , microwave , swimming etc. Free bus rides to Zion national park Every 20 minutes and back. It was a ten minute to the park. Greg and Edgar part of the maintenance staff were very helpful with one minor issue are are really funny. Greg sent us to a great restaurant called Bit and Spur where the service and food was excellent!

The rooms were large and clean and it was so nice walking out onto the patio and listening to the river flowing. We were still in off season so the price was superb; it was a very quiet atmosphere the whole time. The staff were all nice and helpful too. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night! The hotel itself is super close to the park entrance and walking distance to many great restaurants. Very convenient! The onsite restaurant, camp outpost, had a breakfast that was pretty lackluster (banana bread and fruit) so we opted for the Scout Grill across the street. (Which also had a great dinner service in the bar in the evening) Can’t wait to come stay here at the Desert Pearl again. Great location, value, scenery, and vibes!

Rooms were clean and had a quality feel. My two grandsons 11 and nine years old. Loved the river just steps outside our back door. We all loved the hot tub! It was very convenient to get to Zion national Park and restaurants and ice cream shops were abundant. I have no doubt we will visit the desert Pearl Inn again.
- travelholicc (8/5): Ideal location for Zion National Park visitors - Check in was a breeze with self service coffee and tea station at their reception. They provide some useful tips around the area and a map for reference. We stayed on the second floor which I don’t recommend if you are carrying big luggages. Try to get first floor for convenience since the view is still great. Parking is free for hotel guests right at door step and widely available. Coin machines ain’t working during my stay (tho reception lady claimed it was working during check in). Had to make a run all the way back to the counter to get coins changed (laundry room and reception isn’t even that exactly near). Washer didn’t even spin dry my clothes during wash mode and I had to wash twice before I throw it into the dryer. Costs about $2-3 each time.
- 682kerrip (10/5): Quaint Perfect spot - Even thought this place was being remodeling it was perfect for our weekend. Highly recommend riverside facing room - it’s huge with a little kitchen, vaulted ceilings (2nd floor), hot showers, bidet,clean, beds are comfortable, location is close to Mt Zion/ food, no elevators here. Hot tub was wonderful and outdoor areas was clean, coffee in the front desk area and offer discounts to the neighboring businesses as a guest. This was a hidden gem for sure! Bc we went during off season- some stores/restraints were not open. 1 silly “liquor” store in a back of a shop, byob :). Happy hiking!
- kurtt225 (10/5): Springdale Gem - DP is our favorite hotel in a choice location just west of the center of Springdale, so walking distance from many restaurants. We crave quiet plus the water, so much like the units that are along the river away from the road and pool. They are renovating the units near the road/pool, so suspect some updating will be nice when done. Rooms are quiet, and upper rooms have soaring ceilings. Would definitely return.

- 407katrint (10/5): Perfect stay - We have been to Zion a few times, this was the first time staying at the Desert Pearl Inn. By far the best, we liked it better than the Cliffrose. Desert Pearl had better rooms, larger, cleaner, better beds and better heating. Staff is very friendly and professional.
- Sherpa54506974032 (10/5): Beautiful place and experience - We stayed here for Christmas in Zion. The room was very spacious, clean and beautiful. The kitchenette was immensely helpful to us. We also love the deck where we have a private view of the mountains and river. The service was awesome too, they even cleaned our dishes and left Christmas Truffles! The restaurant next to the pool, Camp Outpost, is really good as well! would definitely come back and I recommend people visiting Zion to stay here!

Coziest clean rooms! - We had to book a room last minute on our way back to LA from Salt Lake City on Dec 25th, and upon our arrival I could not have been more pleasantly surprised of my decision to have picked this place! The hotel looked more like a ski resort with cozy cabins and the views it had to offer from each room were just breathtaking, specially with the sound of the Virgin river running along the entire property added to the magic of this place. The rooms were very clean with every amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were the warmest and friendliest I have recently encountered, catering to our every need as well as giving us useful advice on activities and places to eat and visit. Definitely will be back!
- scottkW1580TA (10/5): We did Angels Landing, The Narrows, Bryce Canyon and numerous other local activities. - My wife and I stayed here during a visit to the area the first week of October '25. Everyone from the front desk staff to the maintenance staff to the cleaning crews were super focused on customer service. We have never experienced this kind of service and room cleanliness anywhere we have stayed together or when I was traveling during my working career. Top notch people and facility and I would highly recommend staying here while exploring the area.

The view of the river and mountains was placid and a highlight of each day. Winter pricing was excellent compared to not only the summer pricing but also was a value when compared to similar hotels in Springdale. Noise level from current on site construction was not an issue. We have stayed at Desert Pearl Inn many times in the last several years and plan to return here next year. We have also stayed at a handful of other places in Springdale in the past and prefer Desert Pearl Inn.

Check in was friendly and easy. The room smelled very clean and even had a seal on the door, guaranteeing no one had entered since housekeeping left. We had an upstairs river suite. The room layout and outfitting were stellar. The dark sky nights and 24/7 soothing river soundtrack, plus daytime mountain scene, are memories I will have forever. The pool was great and there was onsite ice/laundry to make life a little easier on the road. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to come back!!

- Drjesq (10/5): A true find and our favorite!!! - I hesitate to recommend this hotel because I am afraid that it will become too popular but suffice it to say that of all of the hotels that I have stayed in, and I have stayed all over this country and Europe, this remains our absolute favorite. The rooms are always immaculate, the setting is gorgeous and having a small kitchenette , modern and always spotlessly clean, is a bonus. The bed and pillows are fantastic and the bathroom is large and well appointed. The pool and hot tub areas are always well cared for. The location in Springdale is perfect, walking distance to everything. The staff is always kind and very helpful. Sitting on the pretty deck, looking out at the red rock and beautiful trees, it truly feels like paradise. Cannot recommend highly enough if you are visiting Zion National Park.
- 192babyg (6/5): Hide your purse - I’ve stayed here many times but this will be my last…. When I came back from hiking I went to get something out of my bag which I had hidden in the closet cabinet only to discover that my bag had been disturbed. First of all they put it back completely incorrectly and I have never closed that bag that way in its life. You bent it in a way I would absolutely never was extremely obvious it was not even close to being that way when I put it in there. Bottom line is : you didn’t have any right to touch it in the first place. You do not need to clean inside of cabinets in a closet at all during my stay. I am literally outraged and now wondering if my credit card information and address was compromised or something why else would someone be going through my purse that way especially when it was intentionally not out and literally hidden. Tell your staff to keep their hands off of peoples private property inside of their rooms. I will be locking my belongings in my car and taking them with me from now on after this. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. This is going to be documented with my local police and with my private investigator. I do not appreciate this at all. It’s not safe and creeped me out. If you stay here hide your purse someone here obviously is snooping in others things.

The location is in the center of the city and is right on the bus line to take you to the entrance of Zion if you don’t want to drive in. It’s a motel type resort which has only two floors and each unit has a nice deck or balcony. Plenty of them overlook the river and have nice views. Rooms are large and spacious.
- elizabethoh303 (10/5): Stayed on a recommendation and were not disappointed - We stayed here on the recommendation of two friends and were not disappointed. Our room was large and clean and supplied with everything we needed for a three night stay - coffee pot, robes, small refrigerator, microwave, plates, mugs, glasses and silverware. All made it easy to eat in if you chose, We asked for and received a river view room. The covered balcony was perfect for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Fresh coffee and hot chocolate were also available in the lobby. An e-bike shop was located on the property which made it easy to rent bikes to tour Zion or the town. The e-bike shop also gives Desert Pearl Inn guests a discount on rentals. The front desk staff of the hotel was very helpful and loaned us walking sticks for a long hike in the park one afternoon. The location is great - easy to access the Springdale shuttle and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. My husband and I decided if we ever come back to Springdale we will only stay at the Desert Pearl in, it was that good.

- CityPt (10/5): Exceptional Zion Experience - The Desert Pearl Inn met all of our expectations and then some. VERY convenient location for our Zion adventure with shuttle service right in front of location and a short walk to the many shops and restaurants Springdale has to offer. Perfect! Rooms were clean, very spacious and with key kitchen amenities, each room offering a different view of the outstanding landscape. Bed and bedding was exceptional and the combination of their outdoor pool and hot tub worked wonders on our hips and knees after our hikes. - catherinecworley (10/5): Exceptional choice in our visit to Zion! - The Desert Pearl Inn is wonderful! I can't say enough positive things about our River's Edge Suite! It was very clean, roomy, and quite comfortable. This hotel is exceptionally well maintained and the room was so clean! My thanks to the cleaning staff! The view from our deck overlooked the Virgin River. There were only two of us, but the suite would have been great for a family of 3 or 4. It had a wonderful king suite with its own bath, plus the pull-out sofa and another bathroom for additional travelers. We chose this room because of it's kitchen and cooktop which was really nice in order to cook breakfast. The hotel is close enough to Zion's entrance to walk or bike safely. I also liked that I had access to laundry facilities, which were clean with up to date washers/dryers. The Desert Pearl was a great choice!

We stayed in a second floor, river facing King premium room that was very well designed, comfortable and appointed. It is centrally located and less than a mile walk to the entrance of Zion. I highly recommend staying here.
- Flyer693960 (10/5): Amazing Place To Stay! - The Desert Pearl Inn is perfectly located in town to be able to walk to the park entrance if desired as well as all the best local restaurants and coffee shops. What really impressed me was the staff and the attention to every detail! Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful PLUS the staff was busy from sun up to sun down making sure that every room was perfectly cleaned and every inch of the grounds and pool were pristine! I would highly recommend the Desert Pearl as the place the stay when visiting Zion!

- Benjisbud (8/5): Look before you leap - The location is great, views spectacular & a nice looking pool. We stayed based on a friends recommendation but if I were to go to Zion again I would look for something more reasonable in price. The shuttle to Zion stops right in front which is a nice perk.

The landscaping is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The rooms have everything you need and more. Real glass wear, a full kitchenette. Walking distance to the visitor center.
- Ellasam2000 (6/5): Room not as expected - We got the “Expedia” room - I suspect. Room 304. Almost $400 a night, booking was for poolside room. Even the hotel’s map says EVERY room is poolside or riverside. Ours looked at the road. If we leant over the balcony we could see the pool. Very dark room and smelt slightly unpleasant. We turned off the a/c and wedged all the doors open. It’s also right next to the Camp Outpost cafe. Pool is lovely, big enough to swim. Good location for the shuttle.

- zionfanatic (10/5): Two Weeks -- Just Wonderful - I really didn't want to write this review for fear that even more people will fall in love with this resort and it will become even harder to get reservations. Booked a river suite for 14 days. Wonderful stay. Check-in was easy. The suite was beautiful and very clean. The grounds are well-kept. Swimming pool was nice...hot tub was just wonderful...used it every day. The few requests we had were quickly responded to by housekeeping/maintenance departments. Check-out was simple and fast. My wife and I have stayed at several places in Springdale -- but now this is the only one we consider.

- paulbG821QT (10/5): Excellent - We spent 3 nights at this delightful resort. The location is great with the Springfield shuttle at the door. We stayed in a river facing room that was fabulous. The room is very clean and a little rustic but charming with everything one could require, including a kitchen. The best part was the balcony facing the river. We enjoyed sitting outside and the noise of the river. The staff at this resort are great and professional, bending to every request. After a day of hiking it was fantastic to have a swim in the beautiful pool and relax on the loungers. There is no restaurant in the resort but one next door. We purchased food and supplies from a supermarket 5 minutes away. Our room was quiet and we slept really well in the comfortable beds.

The hotel was comfortable clean quiet and had everything we needed to make our 3 night stay perfect. It is conveniently located on the Springdale Shuttle line to take you into Zion or it is a 15 minute walk to the parks entrance which is what we did. Great place to stay while in Zion!
- nuseja (10/5): Outstanding choice for Zion NP - A perfect location and lodging for Zion. We stayed at several places during our Utah trip and no place compared to Desert Pearl. Large comfortable room with everything you might need. Large balcony overlooking either the pool or river. Views from both stunning. Shuttle stop to Zion entrance directly in front of hotel. We didn’t move our car for 3 days. Walk or use shuttle to variety of restaurants- all high quality. Pool and jacuzzi spotless. It may seem pricey but when comparing to other choices in immediate area it’s in line with the market. Housekeeping was impeccable!!

We had a river view room and waking up with coffee on our large balcony with extremely comfortable adirondack chairs was so peaceful. Pool & hot tub was a wonderful treat after hiking during the day. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance & bus stop right out front of the property. We will definitely be back!

It was a much needed respite from the busyness of daily life. The rooms are well maintained and equipped. The staff very kind and responsive. The location is ideal for entrance to Zion National Park and for a pleasant stroll through town. Easy walking distance to cafes and shops. Should we ever find ourselves in Springdale, Desert Pearl Inn will be our home away from home again.

- davebU4002EN (10/5): Best Hotel in Springdale !! - My wife and traveled to Zion National Park in Sept 2025 and had the pleasure of staying at the Desert Pearl, Springdale Utah. After a long drive from Nathrop Colorado on 8 Sept, we finally arrived around 8pm. We were tired and hungry, upon checking into the Hotel, we felt an immediate ease and relaxing. The front desk staff were fantastic and honest about where to find something to eat. After checking in, we got to our room and found the room to be the cleanest ( I pay attention to the smallest detail ) and most relaxing room we’ve stayed at. I was incredibly surprised to find the room that nice and sanitized. The interior was decorated tastefully and as my wife describes it “ simple classy elegance “ The balcony had a view of the Virgin River and Mountain behind the Hotel and was very private. Upon leaving the hotel in the morning for a day in the National Park, I was able to see the hotel in the daylight. Again, I was incredibly surprised to see how the landscaping was perfectly manicured and taken care of extremely well. The hotel was taken care of and you can tell the employees have pride in their work. After long days in the park, it was the perfect hotel to come back to and unwind and relax. Upon checking out ( the process was very fast and easy ) I spoke to the General Manager, who was super nice and patient ( I like to talk, lol ) was easy to talk to. I can’t recommend this Hotel enough. I hope that it continues to be a great Hotel moving forward in the future. And continue to pay attention to the smallest of details and take pride in their work. The rooms are great with a patio and a view no matter which room or floor you are on. The pool is awesome and saltwater. I chose this for the reason I am allergic to chlorine. The kitchenette is great for light meals. The location is perfect.

- khp_infairfax (10/5): Lovely mountain retreat - As a bit of a hotel snob, I was a bit worried when we pulled up that I had accidentally booked us into a Motel 6-like situation. Those worries were dispelled immediately by our beautiful premium king suite. It was huge! Two full bathrooms, full kitchen, comfy robes, and an impressive makeup mirror. It was so spacious and a great night's sleep. I was a bit obsessed with all the outdoor seating and gorgeous view of the Virgin River running just steps from our outdoor verandah.

- Dawneen (10/5): Perfect Zion Stay With Family - Perfect place to meet up with family and enjoy Zion National Park. Great location for the park, shuttle and dining. We flew into St. George and rented a car, by the way easy airport and car rental. The other two families were on multi-day Utah trips. Two families were in riverside rooms and one pool side. I believe everyone enjoyed their choice. The riverside offered daily deer and fawn visits. The eleven of us did our own thing during the day but returned in the afternoon to enjoy the pool. Which surprisingly was never overly busy even with temps at 105+. The kitchenette was nice to have an easy breakfast start to the day, refrigerator was nice size and used the dishwasher a couple of times which was great. We even cooked chili/cheese hot dogs for the eleven of us. The house keeping was amazing. They did a great job keeping everything clean and nice. On a side note, we left some travel binoculars behind and had a message when we landed to give them a call. They arranged to have them shipped to our home and they arrived today. I would not hesitate to suggest this hotel to anyone.
- samdogNY (10/5): A TRUE GEM - Our family of 6 (two rooms) absolutely loved our stay. Every good thing stated below can be reiterated, especially the comments about how the Dessert Pearl looks and feels in person just as good as it seems in the pictures. We stayed in the King- Walkouts and loved the direct access to the pool. Great view both directions here. Staff and maintenance crews were all wonderful, constantly working to keep the place in tip top shape. Even the "sleeper sofa" mattress were super comfortable. *Note about the rooms* The King walkouts have direct access to the pool (see map attached)... The 2-Queen walkouts are off to the side (if looking at the hotel from the street, they are to the right of the pool with a big lawn area in front). If I had one slight caution for staying here, I could imagine that if I was assigned one of the rooms furthest to the right (if looking at the hotel from the street) then I might not love that as those were most adjacent to the neighboring restaurant. We walked around back to the rooms along the Virgin River and they seemed to have a more private setting. But for us, with the kids, we much preferred and enjoyed being next to the pool and walking freely in out of our rooms, or sitting on our patio watching them play/swim if we wanted more shade, etc. If renting E-bikes (a MUST do IMHO) then use the e-bike shop in front of the hotel. They give you a nice discount and allow 12-year olds to ride solo unlike many others who require solo riders to be older. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Desert Pearl Inn. We could not have been happier there during our 3-days at Zion.

Rooms are so spacious, the back patio (had a room with a river view), was wonderful with frequent deer visitors. The pool is perfect and we brought takeout to eat at one of the many tables multiple nights so my kids could continue swimming in the pool. Stayed in the Premium King Room which is gargantuan!! Solid hardwood floors underfoot, soaring lodge-like ceilings, full kitchen, dining table and chairs and high-quality bedding / linens that were outrageously comfy. The service quality was 5-star on every touch point from the Front Desk to the maintenance gentleman who graciously showed us the room before we upgraded. The pool area is very large with ample seating, loungers, umbrellas and one of the largest hot tubs I’ve ever seen. It’s a truly magical stay in every sense!!

The pull out couch was a brand we hadn't encountered before and was unusually comfortable. We had a river view and the sound of the river alone was a huge bonus. Plus deer came down at night to get a drink and hang out in the lawn. There are deer all over town in the evening but nice to have a personal mini herd. The staff was super helpful, allowing us to leave our car after check out for an extra hour so we could return from the park before heading to our next destination. Plentiful ice makers, laundry onsite, big appealing pool, central location IMMEDIATELY next to the town shuttle site #4. I don't know how you don't have a good stay at the Desert Pearl.

We had a pool view room (street view) and it was loud in the mornings. We had deer come and visit which was pretty awesome. The hotel also has laundry services. The shuttle stop is right in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Would recommend.

The proximity to the entrance to the park is great and yet it is just a bit removed from the chaos of the lodge and center at the entrance. The Inn is in excellent condition, the rooms are very comfortable, and the pool is such a welcome addition after a day of hiking or exploring. We easily rented e-bikes at the Inn and received a 20% discount. Additional great things about Desert Pearl....the shuttle stop is directly in front of the building, there's a self-serve laundry on site, and a great restaurant next door.

Lastly, the setting is amazing with Zion towering around you and only 5 minutes to the entrance of the park. The staff was attentive and the location/setting are unrivaled. The rooms are very spacious (we had our kids with us) and could comfortably sleep six with the pull out sofa. You don’t even need to go In the park to enjoy the beauty. Just sit by the pool and take in the views! The staff were very pleasant and the room was extremely clean. I'd love to stay here again.

We loved the kitchen with dish washer, toaster oven and cook top. The bed and pull out were comfortable and the bathrooms large. The description online is exactly what you will find, including a large balcony overlooking the river and wandering deer. We found the cleaning team to be incredibly efficient and detail oriented, something we have not seen since Covid. We would absolutely stay here again.
- Mcx-PA (10/5): Great experience to augment your Zion experience. - We stayed at the Desert Pearl Inn once before in 2015 when we last visited Zion NP and had a wonderful time. Happy to report the property is still wonderful and remains worthy of its high ratings. The grounds are beautiful and the Virgin River runs just along the property line. (Yes, there's a more or less vacant lot adjacent, but you're too busy looking at the mountains and river to look in that direction anyway.) The staff was helpful and friendly, and we pretty much had the lovely pool and hot tub to ourselves on a warm mid-May afternoon. The location is a plus...convenient to park shuttle buses, stores, and many restaurants, you can park your car and enjoy all that Springdale has to offer. We didn't rent e-bikes from the concession that's on the property, but that's a nice convenience as well. We did grab dinner to go at "Camp Outpost" restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Food there was very good. We had an upper floor river king room, and it was quiet, comfortable, and very nicely appointed with a large balcony with chairs and tables and a very capable kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. We could open windows to hear the river, which was very nice. It may be on the pricier side of accomodations in the area, but, given its conveniences, quality, and location, the Desert Pearl Inn was worth it, and I hope it won't be another 10 years before we visit again.
- belladonna01 (10/5): Riverside comfort in a beautiful setting - We stayed for 4 nights in a Riverside Suite while exploring Zion NP. The room was excellent, however I would recommend a 2nd floor room. We had deer visiting each morning so keep the doors shut and do not food outside. Lots of great dinner options in town. I recommend an early start to explore Zion ie before 0800 to avoid crowds and the day trippers.

The setting is breathtaking - and you are away from the hustle and bustle of town and tourists even though you are in the center. Riverfront rooms open to the view of the Watchman and the Virgin River. It's so peaceful sitting out on the patio or terrace, listening to the water, watching birds, hearing the cottonwood leaves rustle in the breeze. The staff is incredibly serviceful. Each room has a kitchenette with dishes, silverware, fridge, toaster oven and microwave, even a tiny dishwasher. We try to stay here every year.
