Heather (2/5): - The staff seemed oblivious to basic special requests. The TV wasn't HDMI-friendly. There was a community of bugs. The shower was like the floor of a gas station toilet stall. There was zero internet, the entire time (constant router errors). The fridge had a bunch of half-eaten food from previous guests. The laundry room was 100% coin-op only, but coins aren't available on the premises. The walls were very thin. Why place guests into rooms adjacent to other guests, when so many empty ones are available?
Jon (4/5): - The front desk member who checked us in at night was polite and nice. I went to check out at 3 AM because I had a long drive ahead of me, and could not get a hold of anybody though. The room appeared clean, but you could tell somebody did a quick remodel that did not hold together. The shower stall was very small, and the towels provided were worse than the towels at the dollar store. They were in the process of fixing up the property around the motel, and I'm sure once they're done it will be a bit better. I understand this motel is a lot cheaper than the others in the area, but it could've been at least a little bit better.

Marline (10/5): My happy place - They were very accommodating to my health needs, the managers gave us helpful information on, shopping, eating, and getting around town.
Cheryl (6/5): Poor maintenance. Not caring! - Grounds were dirty. The threshold going into the room between the sidewalk and door was full of garbage. I washed the air conditioner filters. It was so smelly. Ran the bathroom exhaust and opened a window and ran air conditioner all at once and went to eat. Better when came back in an hour. Ran air and bath exhaust 2 days straight. Floors were so dirty I had to wash my feet after going back to bed from bathroom.
JOSEPH (4/5): - We reserved a handicap accessible room, and thankfully neither of us use a wheelchair. There is not enough space between the wall and the desk/cabinet that holds the refrigerator and microwave for a wheelchair to get through. The shower has no seat for a handicapped person to use. The bed was quite soft and only offered one pillow per person. When one needs a pillow between the knees due to back issues, this isn’t helpful. The towels were shedding lint. And the last things were the humidity in the room in spite of having a working air conditioner was atrocious, and that caused the bathroom door to swell and made closing the door nearly impossible. Something a person in a wheelchair would totally be unable to do.
Brian (2/5): - I usually like to stay at Motel six is in super eight and 63 years old and have difficulties getting around I am handicapped and they had no handicap parking on the ground floor and there was hardly any vehicles there I didn’t quite understand why they couldn’t give me a ground floor because of my disability

Jay (2/5): - When I entered the office no staff person was present. I used the phone by the swimming area to try and reach someone. I tried calling the 1-800 number. I was shouting "hello" and knocking on the counter. Finally someone came and checked me in. The parking lot did not appear safe with a lot of people milling around and the property appeared to be under construction with beams exposed. When I got to the room it smelled strongly of smoke and mustiness. I called the front desk but no answer. I decided to stay in the room despite all this because I was very tired. The mattress was so thin I could feel the metal supports underneath. In the morning I went to take a shower and there were bugs in my toiletries. They did not come with me! I took a video and photo of one of the bugs. I would like a refund please.

Gudrun (8/5): - Clean and quiet room with friendly, approachable staff. There is no wifi internet if you stay in the back row (the rooms farthest from the front office). This is a huge negative to me. I met one guest who sat by the front office with his iPad. He explained to me that he experienced this all the time when staying there and just learned how to live with it. He said if you want internet access, you have to bring your device to the office. We stayed at this place before at a room closer to the office, and the internet worked. But in the rooms in the back row you need to use your cellular data.

Craig (6/5): Covered my basic needs - Friendly staff checking in and out. Bed was older and did not have a comforter/blanket and two small pillows which was fine because i travel with my own bedding. Shower pressure was excellent and hot water was plentiful. Basic low budget hotel but seemed to be clean for age. Signs of disrepair on second floor but my room was fine. Only thing that upset me was the complimentary coffee was luke warm to cold which was a morning disappointment.
Benjamin (4/5): Not one of my better hotel experiences - The actual hotel was nice, but other hotel guests had a drunken block-party in the parking area, complete with dueling car audio systems competing for whi coukd achieve highest volume. This went on until approximately 4:30 AM. It made for little to no sleep the entire night. Other guests were frustrated, as well. It would have been nice if staff would have intervened for the sake of other hotel guests. I stay in rochester frequently for work, but will not choose this hotel again.

It looked like blood was on the shower, the toilet lid did not fit the toilet. Also, there is a note at the front desk saying that they do not allow local residents to stay there. No one should be allowed to stay here. Check in was fine.

Lyric (2/5): - I’m not a picky person, honestly, but I would never stay here again. I considered leaving and not staying at all. The walls were dirty, the sheets had dirt and lots of hair. Holes in the wall. Taped up doorknob. It STUNK. It smelled like an ashtray and weed. It was hard to handle, it’s potent. The whole place felt unsafe and unwelcoming. I’m very disappointed and it was a complete waste of money. Avoid this place.

The first words what he said when he saw me that I need to leave the property because they don’t want trucks on their territory and this is not semi truck. I am driving Ford f350 with treiler. He close himself in the office and call to police!! Why???? I don’t have answer!!!! And as I understand from police officer the filed up some petition Which prohibits me from approaching this territory for a year It’s just unbelievable

Barbara (4/5): - Although this property appeared to be under construction [frontside of the complex]; overall it was extremely run-down & dirty. Most of the exterior doors were dented-in. Room 120 [a handicap unit] located on the backside of the property, where there were several people standing around outside of the rooms, sitting on the curb & in some of the vehicles - smoking & drinking. ALL eyes 👀 on us! Nobody said a word, they just stared at us. We felt very unsafe & I was scared some of these guys were going to do something to us. I didn't know whether these folks were a gansters or what!?! We kept calm, unloaded our luggage from my car & entered our room [safely] without incident. Nevertheless this was an extremely daunting experience. RE: Room/Interior There was mildew all over the shower tiles & black spots on the shower curtain; packing tape wrapped around the shower-head; drywall was damaged & crumbing (bathroom). The broken headboard, T.V & remote were all greasy/covered in fingerprints. Queen size bed, (2) flat pillows, no bedspread (AKA. Comforter) and to make matters even worse... I smelled urine while laying on this bed! Fearing the worst... I layed fully clothed- on top of the bedding, too frightened to fall asleep. After this experience, I will never stay at another motel 6 property.

Jerry (2/5): Very poor customer service. - First of all I didn't even get to stay there because I had paid for it already by the time I arrived and I wasn't able to be checked in because they were trying to charge me an extra 50 something dollars and they had no idea why they were charging me that I had the reservation canceled and it's not showing on your website that it was over canceled I need my money return to me as soon as possible that was $70 that I could have used toward another hotel but instead I had to sleep in my truck with children

Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for - This motel needs considerable work to make it appear inviting. The floor of the room was very dirty! There are no toiletries, kleenexes or a hair dryer provided. The cost of the room is modest so not providing all the extras is understandable, but the lack of cleanliness is an easy fix. The bathroom had an accessible shower that was updated. The bed was not terrible, but a little too soft for our comfort. The parking is poor and limited.

People are openly living in rooms here with doors wide open while using drugs on the back end of the property so you cant see it from the road side. The room I was given smelled of drugs as well there was no bedding and it was not cleaned. The door was not secure either. Brought the issues up to the employee in the office and he becan to be very rude, raised his voice and used profanity.

Kevin (8/5): - My room was recently updated. It was very clean and contemporary. The shower stall was new, had grab bars, good lighting and I liked how high the shower head was. Good water pressure as well. Rich, at the front desk, was a blessing. He found me a clean room and allowed me an early check-in after a sleepless night the day before. He was warm and conversational the next day while checking out. I enjoyed my stay enough that I went back 2 days later on my way back through town. For the money I paid this place is a great find!

Jeff (2/5): - The motel was pretty much vacant. Which was nice the first night, quiet, then I got neighbors. They were loud, fought and argued all night. There are 100 rooms and to have the management put them in an adjacent room was rude. The walls are paper thin. The doors don’t seal. The faucet sprayed water everywhere. They won’t switch rooms once you use the room. I wouldn’t stay here again. Much better options in the area.

Jason (6/5): Very unhappy weekend - When I checked into the hotel and got my room the tv was not working neither was the room heater. I talked to the hotel employee to report the issues and he came to the room to check out the issues. After he found out the issues he moved me to a different room that everything was working properly but the room smelled like pot and other smells. I reported it to the employee and he didn't do anything about it along with the loud neighbor beside me early morning door banging at 3AM loud noises in the early morning when people are sleeping. The hotel changed from cable to satalite and only got half the channels.
Verified traveler (2/5): This Hotel Is Running A Huge Scam - This hotel is running quite the scam. First, they chastise you for using an online service. Then, they claim they will refund you for the online booking, and redo it on their own. Of course, it never comes. So I wound up paying almost double.

Verified traveler (4/5): - I booked and paid for the room on Expedia. When I got to the front desk to check in, the clerk didn't believe me when I said I'd already paid. He thought I was confused or that I hadn't understood the process, so he charged me again. When I got to the room, I saw numerous blood spots on the top bedspread, all of them about the size of silver dollars. Not stains, but spots, because the bedspread had not been washed since the blood had been left on it. There was blood on the second blanket too, and smeared in a large spot on the wall by the bed, with clearly no effort having been made to clean it. Thankfully, Expedia handled the double charge situation very well, but this was all an extra hassle that I really didn't need just then. I was staying there for its proximity to Mayo Clinic and had 4 hours after visiting hours to try to squeeze in a nap before returning to the hospital in the middle of the night for a close family member's major surgery scheduled OR time.

When I checked in I had to change my reservation since the person who was supposed to come had a family emergency. The owner was very helpful and generous to help me get it changed. The room was very nice and quiet and I was very happy with the view from my room.
