• Kaan (6/5): Doesn't disappoint - View was good. Budget friendly, price/performance acceptable. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly. Room was quite old and small. However it was clean as well.
• Haque (5/5): - Double Room with Balcony I booked a Double Room with Balcony and was given the choice of floors since there were no other guests. The room was clean, with an amazing view of the city and Kandy Lake. The bathroom was clean too, and the manager was very helpful. When my room had a light issue in the evening, they immediately moved me to another room with the same view, which worked perfectly. The hotel also offered to arrange transport for city visits, which I didn’t use but appreciated having as an option. The property is conveniently close to the City Centre and major attractions in Kandy, and there’s a great pizza place less than a minute’s walk away. Breakfast was fine, though having more options would make it better.

Comfortable rooms and good facilities. Friendly, helpful and very conscientious staff, happy to ensure that you have a great experience while at Kandy. Easy access to the city centre and all the cultural sites by a short tuk tuk ride. We appreciated the offer of the no-extra-cost ticket to the Kandian Dance evening from the proprieter that saved us the inconvenience of long waiting and queuing.

• Renzo (9/5): nel complesso siamo stati bene - la suite che ci hanno dato al posto della tripla (con un picolo sovrapprezzo) impeccabile in tutto, bagno curato nuovo e pulitissimo. la gentilezza dello staff e la prontezza a risolvere qualsiasi problema, in particolare Richard avevamo prenotato la camera tripla al piano strada con spazio living pur essendo solo una coppia, rassicurati dalle molte recensioni positive… ma la camera è veramente piccola con un bagno molto piccolo e molto vecchio. ci abbiamo dormito solo la prima notte, perché lo standard è veramente basso! poi le altre due notti siamo stati spostati nella suite con un sovrapprezzo per differenza. altro piccolo problema, abbiamo usufruito del servizio lavanderia ma alcuni panni sono rientrati rovinati perché avevano lavato e asciugato tutto insieme, chiari scuri cotoni e sintetici… il servizio però era esterno e non si può attribuire la colpa direttamente della struttura. per il resto tutto ok!

Super hilfsbereite und überaus freundliche Mitarbeiter, besonders der Besitzer hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Uns wurde am Abreisetag um 6.30 Uhr Frühstück gemacht, das war super nett. Tolle Empfehlung für eine Massage, der Besitzer hat mich mit dem Moped hingefahren. Zimmer etwas klein, wenig Ablagefläche. Sehr schmaler Balkon. Bad zwar neu gemacht, Wasserdruck aber schwach.

• Nicola (8/5): Günstige einfache Unterkunft mit Ausblick über Kandy Lake - Schön gelegen, der Name ist zurecht gewählt. Von der Frühstücksterrasse hat man einen tollen Blick zum See, und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Besitzer organisierte netterweise einen Stellplatz für unser TukTuk beim Nachbar-Guesthouse, und vermittelte uns Karten für eine Kandydance-Show. Die günstigen Zimmer unten sind recht beengt, und durch die Nähe zur Rezeption auch recht hellhörig. Das Badezimmer könnte eine Überarbeitung vertragen, und war ein wenig schmuddelig.

The location is close to the lake, but it’s up the hill, so be prepared for some climbing (or you can easily take a tuktuk).

• Małgorzata (7/5): Na jedną noc było ok - Przemiły właściciel i uprzejma obsługa, bardzo dobre i obfite śniadanie. Ładne widoki z tarasu. Niestety trafiliśmy chyba na jakieś gorsze pokoje, bo łazienki były bardzo zaniedbane. Do tego połowa rodziny była w jednym budynku, a połowa w innym, co w ulewnym deszczu mocno utrudniało. Stęchły zapach, ale zapewne to powszechne tutaj w związku z dużą wilgotnością powietrza.

La cama de matrimonio es incómoda en la habitación que estuvimos. Se oyen los ruidos del pasillo, recomiendo llevar tapones porque algún huésped no sabe hablar en voz baja a ciertas horas.

La habitación tiene hervidor y sobres de café y té de cortesía. En el baño hay botecitos de champú y gel. El desayuno es muy completo y el comedor tiene las mejores vistas. La ubicación está en alto. Ya lo sabíamos pero no nos imaginábamos tanto. Para ir al centro de la ciudad, lo hacíamos caminando y es un paseo agradable pero, para volver, había que tomar un tuktuk, nos cobraban 300 rupias. La wifi, igual que en el resto de alojamientos del país, va regular.

• Christopher (7/5): Good location, close to the lake with comfortable bed, good breakfast and WiFi - Comfortable bed, good location, good shower & reliable WiFi. Very nice breakfast and really friendly, lovely staff. The main door to our room had a gap around it when shut which meant we could hear outside noise. Dogs barking until early hours and the crows early morning resulted in a disturbed night of sleep. Our room was the only one on the ground floor so possibly the only one with this issue.

• maciek198407 (8/5): Everything was ok - I spent one night at this hotel while travelling through Sri Lanka. The hotel is located very close to the centre of Kandy, but it is uphil,l so be prepared for a 15 minute walk uphill or just take a tuk-tuk (cost to train station is around 400-500LKR). The room was ok, with 2 single beds, nice and clean bathroom and a small balcony. They also offer complimentary breakfast, standard as for Asia – eggs, toasts and fresh fruits. They also have a beer for a price just slightly higher than in the shop.

• Ezgisu (10/5): Super, immer wieder gerne! - Die Unterkunft war super. Die Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und sauber. Klimaanlage war sehr angenehm, tolle Aussicht, bequeme Betten, alles bestens. Der Hotelbesitzer ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns zahlreiche Tipps gegeben und seinen TukTuk Fahrer für uns organisiert. Auch bei unserer weiteren Planung hat er uns sehr geholfen. Das Frühstück war auch klasse, nichts zu bemängeln. Ausserdem ist die Lage auch sehr gut, man muss nicht weit laufen bis in die Innenstadt. Immer wieder gerne! /

• Anne (8/5): Tolle Hanglage mit Blick auf Kandy See und den Zahntempel - Das Familienzimmer, das wir gebucht hatten, hat uns nicht gefallen. Die Luft, die durch die Klimaanlage kam, stank. Wir haben eine Nacht ohne AC geschlafen und dann um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten. Der Hotelmanager war sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit! Er hat uns für die zweite Nacht das Luxuszimmer im obersten Geschoss gegeben, ohne hierfür einen Aufpreis zu berechnen. Er hat auch sofort einen Handwerker kommen lassen, der die Klimaanlage in unserem vorherigen Zimmer prüfen sollte. Er hat uns auch einmal vom Krankenhaus in Kandy abgeholt und im Stadtzentrum abgesetzt, ohne etwas von uns zu verlangen! Sehr zuvorkommend und immer um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht. Das Frühstück war auch lecker, wir genossen die wunderbare Aussicht und die Affen, die von außen durch die Scheibe geschaut haben. Wir können Highest View weiterempfehlen, insbesondere das Luxuszimmer!

• ANA (7/5): Hotel con buenas vistas, con buena calidad precio. - Habitación limpia, contaba con menaje bastante completo (hervidor de agua , café y té , tazas, gel, champú y gorro de baño). Además desde el primer piso y el restaurante tiene bonitas vistas. Cuenta con servicio de lavandería pero el precio que nos aplicaron no fue el acordado y a parte, nos devolvieron algunas prendas con manchas marrones que previamente no tenían. Además para que intentáramos contratar el siguiente traslado con ellos , nos dijeron que el precio que nos daba la app pick me iba a ser el doble de lo que estábamos viendo, lo que es falso , para que de este modo su oferta fuese la mejor.

Leider hatte ich im Zimmer was vergessen und wurde innerhalb von 10 Minuten nach Abreise darüber informiert und konnte zum abholen noch umkehren :-)

• Abele Grillo (9/5): Gioiello con vista - La camera tripla all'ultimo piano è un gioiello: enorme per dimensioni, pulitissima e con una splendida vista su Kandy e il lago. Le altre camere sono più anguste ma per l'esigua differenza di prezzo consiglio la tripla anche per una coppia. Posizione ottima appena fuori il casino del centro città raggiungibile con una passeggiata di 15 min (al ritorno data la salita è consigliato un tuk tuk).
• PIERRE (10/5): - L'hôtel est bien situé, à quelques roupies en tuk tuk ou à quelques minutes à pieds du centre historique de la ville. La vue depuis le balcon de la chambre ou du restaurant est très plaisante. Nous avons pu avoir la chambre à 9h à notre arrivée à Kandy, ainsi nous avons pu nous reposer avant de sortir (il pleuvait beaucoup). Le gérant de l'établissement ainsi que le personnel sont très professionnels, agréables et serviables. A notre arrivée au Sri Lanka, la compagnie aérienne a égaré nos bagages. Ils ont été délivrés 2/3 jours plus tard à l'hôtel. Le gérant de l'hôtel a géré la communication avec la compagnie pour la réception des bagages. Ils sont arrivés à 5h30 du matin alors que nous étions sortis (pour une excursion) et un employé les a récupéré à cette heure-là. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux, fraichement cuisiné. Tout était parfait.

• Javier (5/5): Un noche complicada. - La amabilidad del personal y la ubicación fueron perfectas. La habitación es sencilla pero con todo lo necesario. En la habitación donde nos quedamos hay como una chapa de otro techo justo en el balcón. Tienen que arreglar eso. Porque como llueva tienes un sonido como de fuegos artificiales justo en tu balcón. Siento decirlo pero no pudimos descansar nada esa noche.

• Vanessa Latha (8/5): Stunning Views and Lovely Host – Worth the Climb - I stayed at Highest View Resort and, true to its name, the view from the property is really beautiful. Be prepared to climb some stairs to get there — it’s definitely worth it if you don’t mind the climb, as the scenery makes up for it. The breakfast was good and satisfying, and the host was absolutely lovely, making the stay warm and welcoming. One small improvement I’d suggest is fixing the bathroom door, but that’s just a minor issue compared to the overall experience. I would recommend this place, especially for those who enjoy a peaceful stay with stunning views.

En 10 minutos estás en el centro de kandy y el personal súper atento en todo momento. Nos dieron la opción de una habitación muy superior por muy poco dinero más y tuvimos una habitación espectacular. El desayuno y todo de 10. Para repetir

• Bachleitner (10/5): Großartige Aussicht auf die Stadt, super Frühstück & hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter! - Hotelmanager war überaus zuvorkommend, hat uns bei egal welchen Anliegen geholfen & hat uns gute , nicht touristische Tipps gegeben. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker & das Luxus Zimmer hatte einen unglaublichen Ausblick auf Kandy. Die Zimmer waren sauber & gemütlich! Ventilator & AC beides vorhanden. Außerdem haben wir auch um eine Wäsche gebeten, diese kam innerhalb von 1 Nacht für eine kleine Gebühr in unser Zimmer.

• Guest (9/5): - Situé sur les hauteurs de Kandy, l'hôtel est parfaitement conforme aux photos et la vue depuis la terrasse est très agréable ! Quelques restaurants et des tuk-tuks disponibles à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel. Le personnel est adorable et très serviable, sans pour autant mettre de pression sur les clients. Leurs voisins d'en face sont assez bruyants, mais ce n'est pas de la faute de nos hôtes.

• Marco (9/5): - Camera semplice, pulita e con bellissima vista su kandy. Posizione fuori dal centro, raggiungibile a piedi facilmente. È una buona soluzione per pernottare durante la visita della città. Qualche problemino con l'acqua calda

Ηταν ακριβό λογικά λόγω της ζήτ - Το πρωινό γιατί ο κύριος μας έκανε επίδειξη κάποιων τοπικών φρούτων κάτι που ήταν ωραία εμπειρία και ότι φάγαμε ήταν πολύ γευστικά. -Κακό WiFi. Έπρεπε να βγαίνεις να κάνεις restart συνέχεια στη συσκευή. -Καμία ηχομόνωση. Άκουγες τα πάντα. -Αρκετά μικρά δωμάτια για ταξιδιώτες που έχουν πολλές βαλίτσες και δεν υπάρχει ασανσέρ.

• Stemi (7/5): - Frühstück war super! Die Zimmer sauber und bequem. Wir waren eine Nacht und hatten 2 Zimmer. Schön ausgemalt und keine Flecken von irgendwelchen Tieren. Würde wieder kommen! Leider hatte 1 Zimmer Schimmelflecken. Der Besitzer hat sich dafür auch entschuldigt und erklärt, dass sie allge.ein mit der Feuchtigkeit ein Thema haben!
