Guest Reviews
- james (8/5): - Quite resort, great location and staff was welcoming.
- Robert (2/5): Seaside are nasty - Tables by the pools are nasty Boring
- Yvette Marie (9/5): Lovely stay, chic and shabby. Pure comfort - The rooms are spacious, the staff are warm and greets you with smile and helpful conversations and there is no crowd at atll. Just too far away but it can also be a plus.
- Jernej (9/5): -
- Kelisek (6/5): -
- Joy (9/5): A great stay for my family of seven! - The staff was friendly, attentive, helpful, and kind. The pool a plus. We loved our boat tour arranged by the hotel and enjoyed getting to know other guests. The shower water temperature was unpredictable - often more on the cooler side. Other than that our stay was absolutely lovely.
- He (3/5): -
- JustGo Travel (8/5): A spacious, pet-friendly resort with a few thoughtful touches, but with room for improvement - We transfer the first day of the year here doing our yearly planning, which made the stay feel meaningful and intentional. The resort is pet-friendly, which we really appreciated. The room was big and spacious, and the carbonara was delicious.. definitely a highlight.
A big plus for us was the parking area shaded by solar panels, which helped keep the car cool and felt thoughtfully designed.
During our stay, I also found a wallet on the beach and immediately surrendered it to the front desk. Hoping it was returned to its rightful owner. The Wi-Fi signal was unstable and would drop at times, making it difficult to work. Food was quite expensive, and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell.
Breakfast wasn’t a buffet and felt very basic.. only instant coffee was available, and there were no shakes during our stay as they mentioned they were out of ice.
The beach itself wasn’t as clean or as swimmable compared to Sipalay, which was a bit disappointing. Safety-wise, there was no lifeguard on duty, and the pool goes as deep as 8 feet, so families with kids should be extra cautious.
- Joseph (7/5): - The unknown expectations
- Ordeny (4/5): - Staff were nice but facility wasn't The staff
- WILLARD (4/5): Would not stay here again. - Close on the beach. Rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast buffet is ok. Poorly maintained. Toilet seat so loose someone could easily fall off. Safe in room not operational and they knew it but don't bother to repair. Same foods on breakfast buffet every day. Road into resort is full of huge potholes and dirt. Restaurant has a lot of choices on the menu, but when you want to order something, they don't have it.
- Eileen (7/5): - The room was clean. Price is outrageous for what it was .
With the cost of the room being so high they should let the guest bring their own personal food and drink. Not prohibit period.
- Florian (1/5): Katastrophe!
- VHINLEAH (10/5): Lovely stay . We want to come back again on next holiday! - Massive lovely clean room for myself and partner . The staff were accommodating and helpful. Food was lovely . Superb service plus reasonable price! None
- bahala (8/5): -
- Barry (9/5): Prepare to leave all devices out of this trip. - Quite and beautiful. Internet connection was bad
- Georges (6/5): - Le lit tres confortable, chambre propre
Le personnel très sympathique
Very comfortable bed, clean room
Uncleaned beach, uncleaned garden, hot and cold showers with irregular pressure, and inconsistent food. 4,500 pesos (€68) per night is way too expensive for the service offered. It's the price of a 2- or 3-star hotel in France, but far from the quality, and we're in the Philippines!
I won't be returning and I don't recommend this hotel.
- Khaled (6/5): - Great Location. Great staff. Great Size of room and entire facility. We loved it. Minor drainage issue in sink in bathroom.
- Ivar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nilda (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lisbo (7/5): Good - The rooms are massive and the pools nice. The beach not good.
- Rvv (6/5): It was a good stay. Accommodated us on same-day booking. - Big rooms and beds. Staffs were accommodating. Bathroom smelled bad. Might be from the plumbing because it did not go away.
- Joe (7/5): Nice place but needs a lot of work. - The resort had a nice back to nature vibes. It is a good place to relax, it was quiet, had a nice pool and lounging areas.
Staff - They were very accommodating and friendly. Very exceptional customer service.
Room - It was large, 2 queen size beds and very ample space.
Pool - Good size, clean, and long hours. We enjoyed the night swim.
Restaurant Appetizer only - The french fries were good and so was the spring rolls. Staff was accommodating to accept a late order. The resort in general needs extra upkeep/maintenance.
Room A/C - It keeps shutting down every so often, looking at the a/c unit outside, it was rusted and very dirty, maybe it was overheating.
Room washroom - It had a bad stink to it like urine. However it was good size and cold and hot shower was available.
Restaurant Breakfast only - The serving portion was so small, the scrambled eggs tasted overly seasoned with MSG, it could have been better.
Price - I felt I paid a lot for what I got. If they polished things up on this resort, then maybe.
- Rob (4/5): Beautiful resort, but client treatment very disappointing - It is really a beautiful resort in general. Well the biggest dis-satisfier was that there was now wifi available because of technical reasons. That can halpen, but then the management should put this on their account and not only after I paid the bill.
I got a message after my booking that there was no wifi possible. Furthermore the staff dudn’t go the extra mile. Only the waiter did his utmost to make it comfortable for us. Yes a nice resort, but the way how they treated me recarding this wifi topic, made everything very disappointing. The rooms were OK, but no water cattle available. Only the minimum.
- Mark (8/5): Simple comforts, honest service, and a view worth the trip. - We stayed at the resort for almost a week, and overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing experience. The resort felt well put together, and though it was on the smaller side compared to places we’ve stayed in the past, it gave off a more intimate and peaceful vibe—especially after the weekend crowd cleared out.
The staff were friendly and honest—there was even a time when I accidentally left my phone behind after dinner, and it was returned to me right away. That sense of security added a lot to our peace of mind.
Our kids absolutely loved the pools, which were clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The view from the resort was stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset, and we understand now why some people say the location is perfect. While we had a pleasant time, there were a few things the resort could improve on. The location, while beautiful, is quite far from the town proper of Sipalay, which made it feel a bit isolated at times. The beach right in front of the resort wasn’t as clear as we had hoped, and the island hopping activity—though covering gorgeous spots—was limited to just three destinations with a tight 3-hour time limit. No options were given to us for an extension and for lunch by the boat, which we normally get from our previous vacation activities.
We arrived during peak days, and our room lacked sufficient towels, and the usual toiletries you’d expect from a resort weren’t complete. The safe in our room didn’t work, although we still felt secure overall. We did find dust behind the headboard and unfortunately encountered a cockroach in the room. One of the paths had dog droppings, likely from the local dogs that could enter the premises—something that could be better managed.
The weekend crowd brought a different energy—louder, less considerate, and music during dinner that felt more disruptive than festive. That said, the place quieted down during bedtime and became much more peaceful once the weekend crowd left.
Lastly, we found the shuttle service a bit pricey—they gave us ₱1000 discount but what we paid for airport transport was enough for a night’s stay for our family.
- Guy (10/5): Great Resort - If you want to relax go here.
Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations.
Great staff, two swimming pools, right on the ocean, good food.
Everything is very clean.
- Dionard (8/5): Worth it - Food was great, big room, quiet and serene place Bathroom need some fixing.
- Magda (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good - Great location, Private Beach and two Pools
Good Food
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed here 2 yrs ago and it was nice so i booked again the staff are very attentive we had the same suite and the bathroom which was fine before had been renovated again and is very nice its noticable that they have kept up their maintenance of the resort and including a new carport for parking which is great for the car not to get hot.
The kitchen produces the food quickly too my last review I mentioned how good their mango shakes where only to be told no fruits available at lunch but by dinner they had some so we got our beautiful mango shakes and a banana shake in the.morning
All staff have excellent english and where always busy working and the water pressure was excellent in our room wifi was strong in the restaurant area I was uploading to youtube with no issues and we had a smart tv in the room so i could log into my netflix account. The food prices were very expensive and the brewed coffee was way too strong and i like strong coffee but it was terrible.
I respect that its a faraway location, but the food pricing is too much I booked master suite 1 for 3 people inc breakfast when I enquired to return a week later and have a smaller room just for one they quoted me 5600 p more than the suite so I dont get that.
- Regala (8/5): Very good -
- Ville-veikko (9/5): Superb - Two pools, excellent food
- Mae (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anne (7/5): Good -
- Oliver (8/5): Very good - We have been here a year ago and the resort has improved the service and standard and wifi. Pool and beach access are highlights. Room size is good too. N/a
- Radela (8/5): Very good -
- Sulita (10/5): Excellent! It was a 4 hour drive from our place but it was worth it. Kids enjoyed the pool and the beach. Staff were p - Prompt and pleasant staff, clean place Wifi in our room was not working, but not really a big issue.
- Bermudo (5/5): Passable -
- Gerald (8/5): We really enjoyed the stay and we will come back when in the Sipalay area - It was a very quiet place with friendly staff and the food was good. We really enjoyed the rice and coffee. My girlfriend lost her ring there which was very upsetting but the staff found it and dropped it off near her place of residence. They went above and beyond for her and her friends to make them happy. There was no hot water and the soap dispenser in the room was empty. Also there was no soap or shampoo in the shower. There was a bad smell from the sink water also.
- June (3/5): Do not relay on the picture online because its different from the actual. - I like the room and also the staff I dont like the property especially the pool its not clean the fridge inside the room is not working as well, also the lampshade there is no dipping shower, and also the beach and the surrounding is dirty.
- Leonard (9/5): We are going back. - Location! Location! Location. This Resort is right on the beach. You can have dinner or lunch or breakfast just a stone’s throw from the beach. The bed are quiet comfortable The hot water in my room stopped working. But we were offered to use the shower in the room right down the hall. Their isn’t a refrigerator to keep things cold, or a electric kettle to make tea inside the rooms.
- Selby (10/5): Excellent stay in every way - Very good staff. Kenneth and Julius were incredible attentive. Many thanks to all. Great beach for swimming. Nothing
- Steven (6/5): Pleasant -
- Erwin (10/5): Excellent - Everything! I felt like I owned the place. There should be socket near the bed and should be accessible. I had to move the bed forward to find the socket as it is located behind the headboard of the bed.
- Emiel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (5/5): Poor! - Swimming pool The food, the bed, no one cleaned the room over our stay??
- Sharland (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sharland (6/5): Pleasant -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - Was close to family grate prices staff were super friendly and helpful place is very secure at night gates sre locked food was great wifi was great and great big sized rooms air con and had a decent shower with hot water
- Vhinleah (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay ! - *The sea view by the pool.
*The warm welcome from staff and complementary drinks on arrival was a lovely touch .
*Spacious rooms . Not that I can think of ..
- Cheryl (7/5): Good -
- Jose (9/5): Superb - Good job JR, Julius, Jessa, Jacinto and Rico, thank you!
- Samantha (7/5): Good -
- Lucas (10/5): Exceptional - See photo, its worth it. Enjoy your vacation :)
- Jernej (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (7/5): Good -
- Nico (8/5): Very good -
- Andre (7/5): Other for the fact that the shower was of no existance as per my comment above, and that nothing was done about it !! &a - Very clean, peaceful , the staff very friendly and very nice, One isn’t allowed to bring in any kind of foods or even light drinks like water or cola, the food at the restaurant is very expensive and over the top !! Our shower was not working, extremely low water pressure, the hot water didn’t work, but worst of all is that when reported to the management, they sent a maintenance man, who said that it is a small generator, but having said that, nothing was done about it,and during our stay none of us had even one shower, and that isn’t right.
- Leykamm (7/5): Good -
- Jacob (5/5): Nabulao - I like the room which is comfy and spacious. The food were good where we had their complimentary breakfast and pizzas for dinner. The staff were accomodating and they tried their best to help us with our needs even though most of them are new to the job.The resort biance was nice and relaxing except for some mishaps! In our first night, the tv in our room does not have it's own remote control. The CIGNAL tv was not working.I need to call the.attention of their staff and they found out that the CIGNAL cable does not have credit left. The staff said they gonna sort it out the next day.The following day, I need to call the attention of their staff again and that was the time that they sorted it out.For me, this is the case of incompetency of the resort management specially from their manager
On Sunday (1/28),which is our last day, there was a "brownout" or power failure.Unfortunately, the generator in our building is broken. We were told that the tecnician did not arrive to fix the gemerator.Since it was our check out day, I did not make a big fuss about it!Again, this is the case of incompetency from the resort management and their manager!
When we had our dinner on our first night, the beer was served warm which I need to return it.The beer was served back to us when we are almost done with our dinner!
In my travels, this is the first time that I experienced these kinds of mishaps in one single hitel or resort.
Lastly, the beach is just average.
- Alvie (8/5): Staffs are very friendly and accomodating. Place had a good food too. - It has a good ambiance.
- Oliver (7/5): Good - Inventory, pool, good food. Friendly staff, nice firework. Reception far off the entrance - noby welcoming us. Very weak wifi in the rooms.
- Batain (1/5): Bad -
- Jan (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Ralph (10/5): exceptional staff, good food, great service, good rooms and great drinks and ambience. - The no step layout was great for beach, pool, restaurant and the staff was absolutely fantastic. They were attentive and completely on-the-ball. It was like being in a fancy city hotel with great staff that were always ready but never had a bad attitude. Their English was very good and their warmth and genuine concern was the best we have experienced anywhere. I want to list the names of the exceptional ones but I will miss someone since ALL were great from the guard to the houskeeper to the restaurant and office staff. ! The food was really good and the house special pizza as tasty and wholesome as I have had anywhere. This is in the countryside where one expects less things available and the pace slower. The staff made this place so good! Can't wait to return. Salamat -Ralph White and R Fowler and families. The scenery is very nice and the boat ride was good BUT don't go to the cave, it is nothing special and very dangerous walking on sharp rocks. Nothing else to say that was wrong. We will take the boat again but to the sandbar and avoid the cave.
- Arnely (8/5): We came un November, it was off season so there weren’t many guests. The place is really spacious, highly recommended fo - The people and the manager are nice and very accomodating. The water smells luke iron.
- Peter (6/5): There is a lot to improve at the resort before another stay … - Large room, big shower Food is too pricey. They did change the price of the food on our last night of staying there. They didn’t even show us the new price list. Example the original price for crispy pata is 795 but we paid 1200. they didn’t inform us in advance about the price increase. The swimming pool is dirty and only home for frogs. We got the other room than the booked one and it was cheaper than the original and we didn’t get a refund for that.
- Wendy (9/5): Felt special - I gifted my friend with her partner a one night stay in this hotel as a wedding gift. I didn’t inform the staff about this, but I was really surprised and happy when my friend said that the room they stayed had some red rose petals on the bed, it seemed like they knew the people coming in as newly married couple. They really had fun and they felt special and they appreciated such gestures given by the staff. Nothing so far
- Anonymous (5/5): Look elsewhere for your vacation - The view We stayed in the room for six people overlooking the beach. The room had many problems. Electrical outlets sparked when plugging in things, the water heater cord in the bathroom was frayed, and the wires were exposed and away from the plug. Luckily, they still had the coverings Intact. The door to our master bedroom was off the track and wouldn't close completely. Doors overlooking the beach wouldn't lock. The screen in the bathroom had a plastic pipe going through it with space all around it exposed to the outside, allowing numerous mosquitoes and bugs in. The bathroom smelled musty. The water heater in my Nieces master suite made a loud bang, and it smelled like electrical wires were burning with smoke. In another of my nieces' rooms, the AC was barely cool. The food was okay, not great overall. The cheese and tomato omelet was delicious. The food was overpriced, and the waitresses were hit or missed. The male waiter was outstanding. Dogs were hovering around the dinner table and sitting right near you. The Internet was spotty and could not be accessed from the upper suite we stayed in. There are tons of mosquitoes and lots of bites. Overall, the resort needs updating badly, and the speed to serve the food needs to get better.
- Norbe (10/5): The resort is really nice and clean, staff are nice too. It is perfect for family vacation. - The food was delicious. The food serving is also big. Overall, with the very nice staff, it was excellent. The muddy beach is the only thing I didn't like. There's the pool anyway so still a win.
- Cyan (9/5): Overall satisfactory experience - Friendly staff and very accommodating to my special needs. Brought my bags to my room, staff keeps away when you put do not disturb sign, knocks on doors when food is ready. They were able to provide things i wasn't expecting them to have like a travel adapter.
Location is also peaceful because there are no other resorts beside the area. Perfect for watching the sunset too.
Water pressure is strong, heater works and most especially, they have a bidet.
Close to Obong wet and dry Cave. A tourist attraction of Hinoba-an.
Pool is functional. Very wide and has an 8-feet deep area.
Internet is fast and can be connected to tv to watch netflix and whatever you want. Food is good but nothing special. A bit pricey for me.
There were geckos and a few mosquitos inside the big rooms facing the ocean.
Water smells funny? Idk why but i can smell it everytime i wash my face or bathe.
Big rooms are too bright in the mornings because there are no curtains available at the time of stay.
AC is too small for the big room so it takes a while to cool the entire room.
Pool is slightly well maintained, a lot of leaves and stuff falling from trees found during swimming. Not really a big deal for me but maybe for others.
Not all area of the resort has wifi. You have to be close to the lobby.
- Myrfran (9/5): Superb - its quite and relaxing place to rest just a little reminder to staff to make sure they ask anything the customer take from the bar or canteen needs to be charge in their room or if the customer if are paying needs to have a receipt even if the customer is not asking. this is to prevent double charging.
- Roshelia (9/5): Over all our stay was nice. - The room was very nice, the pool as well. The room we will be staying in is unoccupied. We came early around 9am. One of the staff seems grumpy that we came early and i requested for an early check in altho she offered we check out early the next day which I agreed on. Also you need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste here.
- Gabriel (9/5): Superb -
- Damien (6/5): A nice resort that could be better - Very nice location, right on the beach. Large room. Comfy bed. Some of the staff was really helping while staff at the reception couldn't do much more than handing the room key. The second pool for kids was full of dirty water, "under maintenance" but it looked more like it was under maintenance for weeks or months already. The worst cocktail I've ever had. The dining area was left untidy for hours. The pool was dirty, full of sand or soil on the ground. There was no possibility to rent a decent motorcycle, although the location is far from the city. The reception wasn't very arranging about extending the stay for one night, the price proposed was higher than online and no negotiation at all was possible.
- Estela (10/5): Unforgettable Stay at the Fantastic Hotel - Fantastic Hotel with delicious cuisine, spacious room , and excellent service. Enjoyed a relaxing massage, breathtaking boat excursion, and a delightful moonlit dinner. The staff was incredibly friendly. A truly outstanding experience!
- Richard (3/5): This was a much looked forward to family trip after two previous wonderful stays; this time was very disappointing mainl - Food in general was excellent Room wasn’t cleaned regularly
Staff rude with the exception of Julius and Joy who were very helpful
Check in agreements from booking were disputed by staff
Pool was dirty and not cleaned
Lots of rubbish on the beach on volleyball court

- Mary (5/5): Great location, good rooms, disappointing restaurant service. - The location was great, though you need a car/own transportation since there's still small road to pass to go to the hotel. Although we didn't go for a swim at the beach but it's good, clean and the view is exceptional. The room we stayed at was really spacious. For the price of the stay, it's worth it. 1.Service at their restaurant. Since the hotel is fully booked, it is expected that the kitchen will be busy but it looked like they didn't have a plan on how to handle the situation. They didn't inform us upon checkin that it's important to make a reservation beforehand else you need to wait an hr to 1.5hrs for your dinner to be served ( like what happened to us). When we did have our reservation and gave the expected time that we'll be having our dinner, they didn't set it up when we went down at the restaurant :'( so we followed-up and waited again for 15mins to eat. Suggestion: to have a clear plan on how to handle peak seasons/if the hotel is fully booked.
2.Management. It was on our last day when they turned off the water and didn't inform us on what time it will be turned off and on again. Suggestion: to have a formal announcement on each rooms.
- Arron (8/5): Beach resort - Location was perfect right on the beach with 2 swimming pools. Staff were excellent and really polite and helpful. The food was either really good or really bad though ! The rooms were clean but not spotless and had not had a proper clean. The internet was very hit and miss. Often not working until staff rebooted it. Some meals were really bad and swimming in grease. The soup came out cold and the paella was badly burned and we could not eat it.
- Jean (7/5): We enjoyed our stay in the resort. just a few improvement in the facility. Like the shower & peeling walls. but we s - What I like the most is the staff. They are very friendly and accomodating. Plus the room is quite comfortable esp the bed it has clean sheets and quite big. I have to say that they should improve the shower. The room that we stayed in has a broken heater so the water is kinda cold & the room has cochroaches.
- Arvel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ethel (9/5): Enjoyed the trip even when it's too far, it's the experience and view that matters anyway - The staffs were all gracious and helpful. They made our stay worry free and blissful. The room bathroom water coming from the faucet smells like the source is from a deep-well
- Chona (7/5): Good -
- Chona (8/5): Very good -
- Corey (8/5): Good, and not so good - The food and serving size was fair for the price. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Rooms could be updated and repaired and the pools were in poor condition unfortunately.
- Dunlap (10/5): Exceptional - They have the best chef, food are so great and the staff is very friendly and accommodating they took care of us 😋 👌 The swimming pool they have to clean it up better 😌 the tiles it's kinda slippery in the bottom of the pool..
- Jason (4/5): Disappointing -
- Thomas (8/5): - Nice beach with calm waters to relax and unwind from modern life - the road was a bit far and rocky at the last leg to get there - still worth the experience.
