Guest Reviews
- Keith (2/5): - He worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel
- Shane (2/5): Cheap - People run young and screaming in the parking lot in their rooms in and out of the rooms doing drugs in the parking lot still dope in the parking lot kids being abused arguments cops here on lost daily. Do nothing about it half the time I can’t sleep cause I’m worried about my car checking on you. Every three or a few hours is the craziness around here, but it is cheap
- Brick (2/5): - Place is only for very poor. Junk cars on blocks, broken windows with plastic, shady people in parking lot. I did not check in and left to go to a better hotel. No idea how this has a 7 rating!!!
- Amber (2/5): - Don’t know where to start. Upon arrival there were multiple people outside smoking including the receptionist. The door was locked and we had to wait for her to finish her smoke before checking us in. Upon check in she stated “do you want to see the room first because I am tired of people checking in and checking right back out” I declined to see the room because we had just finished driving 17 hrs and just wanted to rest. When trying to open the door, the light turned green but we were unable to open the door. When we went down to inform the FD she just stated “put your shoulder into it and push” while that did work, this was off. Upon entering the non smoking room we were met with a heavy smoke and mold smell. The sheets and pillow cases were dirty, cigarette stains on the duvet, a cigarette and ashes on the floor. Clearly the room had not been cleaned. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling and glass on the floor and was absolutely disgusting. The sink did not work. There was constant arguing outside and 3 separate people knocked on the door and attempted to open the door. We checked in at 530pm and checked out at 7pm and went to get a couple hours of sleep at a rest stop.
- Guadalupe (6/5): - I booked a non smoking room, they gave me a smoking room i ask to change and gave me a room with no working lights, i ask to change the third room was so much better then the first two but couldn't find the remote for the tv overall excellent customer service for working with me
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The General Manager KeyKey is very rude and unprofessional. She has 0 customer service skills and not friendly. Rooms aren't very clean and roach infested.
- Rachel (2/5): - This place is horrible.
- Donna (2/5): - It was very dirty with roaches all over and the water didn't work they said they were working on it
- Sharon (8/5): Very friendly & helpful - Check in was quick & friendly
TV didn't work, tech got it connected
- magan (10/5): - .
- Demarco (2/5): - It was so dirty we left immediately after walking in the room. I asked for a refund and they said it was non refundable. It was a total loss
- daniel (2/5): - Room smelled nasty, cigarrette butts on floor…. Definetly not a room for kids…..
- Verified traveler (2/5): I wouldn't recommend - I couldn't even stay there. The odor was unbearable and it took them over an hour to even come to the desk to check me in , after calling repeatedly!! The young lady was nice tho the sheets were stained and dirty looking. it was just all around an unpleasant experience .
- Brenna (4/5): - grosssss
- jerry (6/5): Sleep over - It was a place to sleep over.
- Ethel Ann (2/5): Terrible experince - we never got checked in because there wasnt any functional rooms ava. They had no blankets in one room no tv in rooms shower faucets were broke on one room we looked at. NO Vacancies
- Michael (2/5): - We opted not to stay there. The property photos are very misleading
- Mercedes (8/5): - Cheapest rate I’ve found , and staff is great.
- Eric (4/5): - Needs work stuff was nice and friendly
- Dylan (2/5): - Stinky and nasty
- Karen (2/5): - Found a cockroach in the room, slept with the light on
- Diane (2/5): - Queen size bed, size of a double bed. Had stains all over it, and the whole room was filthy.
- Nana (2/5): - Ho
- Christina (8/5): - To be honest, this is probably the first hotel I have been in this location where the rules did which I understand but the customer service is awesome very friendly, very homelike atmosphere. If I stay anywhere in this area again, it will be this hotel they got a really hard workers that really try their hardest to treat everybody like family.
- Christina (10/5): - Everyone that works there seem very nice peaceful
- Tracy (2/5): - Place is so filthy. Smells of smoke. Large roaches crawling the dirty stained bathroom. Beyond awful. Leaving and sleeping in my car at a travel stop instead.
- sherry (6/5): - Order new towels and linens
- Furious (10/5): - Nice staff working front desk
- Josiah (8/5): - All in all good value hotel for the price but would be nice if they had microwave and fridge in every room, stayed in 3 rooms over the course of a month and first and 3rd room had neither a fridge nor a microwave
- Alex (2/5): - First room they gave me had no working light. Stains on the wall, dead bugs on the floor (using flashlight). Second room had blood and pee stains on both beds, dead bugs. I left and stayed at different hotel. Have pictures as proof
- Wilson F (10/5): - I sleep like a baby with no worries in the world. Greatest customer service ever. Wilson US Army Disabled Veteran-E4.
- Evangeline (2/5): - Filthy. Lots of shady-looking ganster-like tenants.
Front desk unprofessional.
- LIngyu (2/5): - The bed is not cleaned at all, I can see left over and ** hairs in the bed.
I have to sleep on my own towel and covered with extra clothes on the chair.
- Douglas (2/5): - The property is run down, all the rooms have some kind issue with it(door locks, cable issues, showers that don't work, air conditioner and heaters that don't operate properly, etc)
Some of the staff are pleasant and helpful. Most of the staff are not.
The only plus is that I guess is it's low cost, and the proximity to my job.
- Douglas (8/5): - Good room, service
- simone (2/5): - nothing at all nasty freezing cold heater didnt work only one light the bathroom light worked toliet wouldnt flush dirty nasty ass toewls were left in room. wifi didnt work. office lady looked like she was about to overdose couldnt even keep here eyes open sat in car all night wouldnt switch me rooms nor fix none of the problems specially.Wasted my time and money could have sleep outside if my room was going to be as cold as it was. Never Again. shut this place down... worse i have seen yet.
- Dan (8/5): - The staff was really nice and the manager helped me out of a bad situation created by another hotel in the area!!!
- Dan (8/5): - Friendly Staff
- mark (2/5): - I stopped here to do a ton of work I needed to get done on my computer. They advertise FREE WI-FI. Well, that’s a lie. Their Wi-Fi was broken. I didn’t realize that until I already paid and went to my room to connect. All they said was “sorry, I guess we shoulda told u that, but sorry we don’t give refunds” Absolute joke. It’s a total dump. BEWARE OF HOTELS BOOKED AND PAID FOR ONLINE.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Got for laundry services. Got there and it was locked due to vandalism. Planned to usebnext day to hear from other tenant that it really wasn't worth it
- Alexis (2/5): - The front desk representative was nice but that was about it. The first room was disgusting! The sheets were stained and had wet fluids on them, the room was dirty. I immediately asked for my money back and was told it was non-refundable. I had my 1 year old and 16 year old daughter with me and nowhere else to go. She offered me another room which was cleaned alittle but better but had bugs all over the place! I do not recommend this place to anyone. Me and my kids ended up sleeping at a truck stop as they would not give us our money back.
- Debbie (4/5): - The price was still a little for the value. The office and our room smelled of Marijuana. The people next door had 3 dogs that barked a lot. The steps were painted but the left the painters tape down. I liked the location.
- Deborah (10/5): Great place - Nice place for the price. No issues and staff was very friendly.
- Jennifee (10/5): - Very friendly staff nice and quiet
- Scott (4/5): - Room was disgusting
- Nicholas (2/5): - The room was not clean. The toilet leaked onto the floor. The smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag. The doors to other rooms remained open throughout the night. It’s no longer a motel 6, but an economy hotel plus which caused confusion finding and checking in.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty - 1st and last time I stay here you get what you paid for. The bed was made but no toilet paper there was still trash in the trash cans food left in the fridge from previous guest loud music didn't sleep well. Your probably better off sleeping in the car!
- Daniel (2/5): - When I arrived to establishment, no one was behind counter nor did anyone answer phone for over an hour, was parked out front waiting to check in, after paying for room was told there was NO HOT WATER, absolutely would never return to this horrible establishment nor would recommend
- Jesus (4/5): - No Hot Water. No effort to solve problem.
- Peyton (8/5): - You get what you pay for. But the employees were very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and was a true non smoking room
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dirty and ghetto. Didn't sleep a wink.
- Daniel (2/5): - You get what you pay for. They had a couple of $50 rooms so I took one. The room was one of two that had the "no smoking" signs removed. There was an ashtray in the room and you could tell it was a smoking room. There were about a dozen flies in the room which I killed. There were many files outside the room, I'm not sure why. The entry door leads to the exterior and the threshold was so worn that there was a 1/2" gap in the center of the doorway. I had to block this with a towel and my suitcase. All the furniture was worn and damaged. I was so tired I just did my best to cope with the problems. I'll never stay there again, that's for sure.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Okay but not the best by no means
- Verified traveler (4/5): Sharing washcloths - Motel wasn’t very clean. Shower bar was installed crooked, so the shower curtain would slide into the middle. Water leaked all over the floor, which is how I noticed how dirty the floor was.
Night Front desk clerk wasn’t very helpful. Didn’t answer the phones and when I asked for a 2nd washcloth… I was told rooms only have one washcloth per room. I booked a two bed room for me and my sister. I should think 2 washcloths would be the policy. It was almost funny because it was so absurd.
- Jannette (6/5): Unhappy - The front desk guy was rude. Not friendly. Was no refrigerator or microwave, battery was missing in remote. Couple next to us fought for hours. Parking lot was trashy. Worst stay I've had.
- Susan (8/5): - It was a nice room and the staff was friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It did have two beds to sleep in but they recked of cigarette smoke. The tub water would not turn off. Ac smelled of cigarettes. The pool was not open even though they told me over the phone that it should be open when we got there.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property is obviously OLD and in need of complete remodel. The parking lot is coming apart and you get the feeling this would NOT be a place to stay and expect to feel safe after dark.
- Irene (4/5): - The shower faucet did't work no nigth stand no toilet paper
- Michael (4/5): - Clean. We had 2 beds, but no stand between. Door to room had a visible gap that let cold air in, unable to get room warm.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Didn’t get the room I paid for and there was no fridge or microwave in the room .
- Jessica (10/5): - Excellent my room was so CLEAN! When I walked in it smelled nice like a freshly spring cleaned house. Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly I will stay again.
- Motiya (10/5): - Staff are well behaved, nice place to stay with family, clean room , comfy bed....
- Jeannie (4/5): Unpleasant customer service - I stayed the first night because I checked in late, the room smoked like smoke and I checked out early the next morning and gave the key to the general manager so he knew that the the room could be rented I was immediately charged for two nights. My mom is in her eighties and can hardly climb the stairs I told the general manager before I checked in. I could not stay at this hotel a second night because of the stairs and smoke smell in the room I feel that I should not be charged for the second night because I did let the general manager of the property know very early the second morning that I would not be staying there yet I was immediately charged that same morning for both days.
- Mary (2/5): - The electricity was off so couldn't stay there and by this time it was 6:00pm. Did not no any of this. The owner said i I needed to cancel & i wouldn't be charged.
- Forrest (2/5): - Hotel was closed.
- Hallie (2/5): - Original room was right next to another room so I could hear the other tenants so I asked for a different room nicely. The second room was room 220, there urine in the toilet and the room smelled like it had been used as a bathroom, I was unable to breath and left after a couple hours of sleep. Won’t be back
- Shelbi (2/5): - The whole place was terrible. Filthy carpet, restroom hadn't been cleaned, sheets were stained, door didn't lock right. I left and stayed somewhere else.
- Jessica (6/5): Ok for the money - Room had smell of vacancy and old. There were flies everywhere in the room. Had to go on a fly killing mode. The room itself was clean, windows opened, and air conditioner worked. We had no towels in the room, so bring your own.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Room not clean - Bathroom and sink and counters needed to be cleaned. Floor needed to be swept. We did our own cleaning. Easier than going back and moving to a different room to probably find the same problem.
- Tracilyn (2/5): O not go here - Awful condition transient everywhere employees difficult i didn't stay because of this.
- Dannon (2/5): - This was quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever attempted staying in. We booked it for 2 nights. Got in the room and the toilet was clogged with someone elses poop. The office gave us a plunger to fix it ourselves. The room was nasty. The bedding was for sure unclean. It smelled terrible in the room. The room was also covered in flies. We left within 2 hours and just lost the money spent there. Do not stay at this motel. You can go down the road for less than $10 more a night and get something much nicer and cleaner.
- Danny (4/5): Look elsewhere if possible - The front-desk attendant/owner was courteous and friendly. He tried to accommodate our request for a clean room as best his facility accommodations could. I don’t expect the Hilton staying at a budget more like Motel 6 but even for a budget hotel this place is in poor condition. They had several guests with dogs probably staying on premise long term and the housekeeping can only do so much with this kind of guests. Additionally premise is in borderline disrepair (but I have seen worse in isolated towns). The place is ok I guess for a 1 night stay with 1 person needing a place to sleep. For the price this place should be 29$/night not 50$ because there are comparably priced better motels nearby off i35. They are located near 6 flags, Waffle House, McDonald’s and loves among other places. The WiFi was also decently fast with no captive portal to cause issue with my vpn.
- Shayna (2/5): - We arrived to the hotel after 8 hours of driving... the lights on the building were flickering and some just out. Got to our room and found a bathroom door kicked in off the hinges. Dog hair all over the beds and front door had been kicked in and bolted together. We got a different room from the office and this room was completely demolished. Nothing in the room was was dirty but everything was broken or on its last limb. Housekeeping can only polish a turd so much. We canceled 3 NonRefundable nights at 3 other motels sixs just so my family could feel comfortable. NEVER STAYING AT MOTEL 6 EVER AGAIN YOUR CAR WILL BE NICER.
- Kelly (4/5): - The room was filthy. My daughter spilled some milk, and when I wiped it up, the cloth was black from the floor. The faucet in the
bathroom was broken, so I couldn’t use water from the sink.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room smelled like urine! The covers were filthy.. It was so bad I had to go to another hotel
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I sat on the bed and could feel the board under the mattress. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept on in 55 years. The only one worse was the one my parents provided when I was a child. The bathroom was dirty, there was a long dark hair in the tub, mine and my husband's is short and grey. Sorry, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
- Dee (2/5): - Very old, dirty, not cleaned up. Tiny room, thin walls, not linens
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great service good area for food and drinks. I’ll send family and friends
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Felt very unsafe drug activity next door and police were busting people next door. It was awful and scary
- Teddy (6/5): - Dirty
- Juliet (8/5): Convenient Motel 6 - Traveling with two cats so Motel 6 is our first choice. We prefer Motel 6's with wood floors. Some Motel 6's have carpet and that looks grimey, but this property seemed clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location OK Styrofoam is somewhat clean outdated not many amenities lots of people hanging around outside probably wouldn’t stay again if I had a little bit better option
- Verenda (8/5): Terrible - There was no housekeeper on a day that I needed service. A change of linen and towels.. trash was over flowing with no assistance
- Christie (8/5): - The bed need a thicker cover.room need a microwave
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was standard a little outdated pretty clean though
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Place was clean good service was in a good area no problems parking
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I didn't like the location of the motel or the room we stayed in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Had a great time! Definitely got my money’s worth out of my stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Check in was fast and efficient. Arrest was quite, room was clean. Mattress looked new and was comfortable.
- Stephen (2/5): Don’t stay here - I did not stay because the rooms were filthy and they smelled of cigarette smoke when I was supposed to have a non smoking room. Also, in the second room he had me try I pulled back the blankets on the bed and there were stains all over the sheets. That was the final straw. I could not stay there.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The worst room I have ever gotten. The room was full of flies!??
- Donna (10/5): - Good
- Robert (2/5): Motel 6 the horror stay - They didn’t accommodate us for have pets! We got in the room it’s disgusting. We had just got into town from California and didn’t have the energy to fight about it. I was apprehensive to even have my dogs in the room. The pool that’s advertised was disgusting and the water was green. Never will I stay here again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We always know what to expect and sign up for it
And, yes, that free cup of coffee is meaningful--even "leaving the light on", waiting for our late arrival is a nice touch.
Thank you for the pet option and an ice maker (and hot water if you've been to Costa Rica) as well as and vending machines..
- David (6/5): Motel rm 218 - It was dirty & I had a dirty rag in my shower From ppl before me & the bed was hard
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The tub was dirty and hairs in it from previous people
The mattress had visibe bood stains
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Super basic and clean people were nice. Not glamorous but a good nights sleep.
- Darla (8/5): - We got in late. Front desk was kind and fast. Slept well.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I was in a non smoking room that smelled sooo bad my gear stunk for days. Parking lot was dirty and had trash all about.
