• Carla (9/5): Heerlijk overnachten bij gastvrije eigenaren. - Ruime kamer, zeer attente gastheer en -vrouw, heel schoon, uitstekend ontbijt. Slechte WiFi. Ik miste koffie- en theefaciliteiten in kamer of gemeenschappelijke ruimte.

• Louis (1/5): Refus de l'hôte, c'est un homme malhonnête. Surtout evitez ! - Rien. L'hôte a refusé de nous laisser dans son hôtel malgré la réservation et le paiement. Un hôte froid qui une fois notre trajet de 6 heures effectué a estimé que nous n'étions pas à son goût et a estimé pour nous que les chambres ne nous convenaient pas, en nous invitant à partir par le biais d'une annulation (cela dit après avoir payé). Celui-ci n'a pas manqué de nous refuser l'accès au wifi pour annuler la réservation ce qui ne nous a pas simplifié la tache. En réservant vous avez donc une chance que votre réservation soit refusée si ce cher monsieur ne vous estime pas à sa convenance,...

Los desayunos, deliciosos y con todo detalle, han sido un verdadero lujo. Marisol y Antonio nos han tratado con una cercanía y amabilidad que nos han hecho sentir como en casa. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveremos encantadas.

La casa está extremadamente limpia y cuidada, con un buen olor general en todas las estancias que te hace sentir cómodo desde el primer momento. La habitación tenía vistas preciosas a las montañas y al entorno natural, lo que hizo nuestros días allí aún más especiales. Se aprecia el mimo y esmero en cada detalle de la casa, algo que valoramos muchísimo. Queremos destacar también la atención exquisita de los propietarios, Antonio y Marisol. Fueron siempre muy atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar, proporcionando orientación sobre la zona y contribuyendo a que nuestra estancia fuera memorable. Sin duda, un lugar que recomendamos al 100% y al que nos encantaría volver.

• CARLOTA (9/5): Casona reformada muy cerca de Pamplona - La casa esta muy cuidada y limpia, se nota el mimo que tiene detras. Limpian la habitación todos los días y los propietarios son muy amables. La casa no tiene parking como tal, no obstante es fácil aparcar en la zona porque hay múltiples sitios. Es mejor preguntar a los dueños, en nuestro caso Antonio nos indicó dónde podíamos dejarlo, ya que se puede bloquear alguna casa o el paso si no se deja en la carretera.
• MARIA (7/5): - The property is nice and the room was big and comfortable. Very clean as well. The property is by a small national road, it is not noisy but also not picturesque. We didn't feel particularly welcome by the greeting of the host. It was a bit uncomfortable and he insisted on speaking Spanish even though we tried English and French with them. While the room was alright, I would not stay there again.

• moi (8/5): buena casa rural - la limpieza, las instalaciones y la ubicacion lo único que no había cobertura, pero hay wifi
• María (10/5): En buscá de la tranquilidad!!! - Las habitaciones muy grandes, y Todo muy limpio y Nuevo. La cama comoda fácil aparcamiento y gratis en las inmediaciones, un sitio muy tranquilo con el río de frente y mucha vegetación para el que le guste claro!! También muy cerca se cogen setas y hongos, el desayuno es aparte, pero merece la pena, imposible quedarse con hambre. Y por último al despedirnos nos hicieron un pequeño obsequio, un detalle que no tienen por qué acerlo, volveremos!!! Nada que no me gustará!!

Een prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Wij hebben het hier erg fijn gehad. Werkelijk niets. De eigenaar lijkt in eerste instantie misschien wat streng en formeel maar dat is een vergissing. Hij is zorgvuldig, behulpzaam, lief en vol humor.

Tienen un exquisito gusto en la decoración y calidad de las habitaciones. Una joya de Casa Rural en un pequeño pueblo (Asiáin) del precioso entorno de la Sierra de Aralar. Alojamiento recomendable al 200% sobre todo si se desea hacer rutas por la Sierra debido a la comodidad de las camas. Repetiremos seguro. Nada.

• Diane (4/5): Disgruntled - After a 7 hour drive we tried to book in for our three day stay. The Host started to book us in but stopped when he saw we had brought Water and Food with us. Although we tried to explain my partner was diabetic and I had only one kidney which meant we needed food and our own food. By this time it was 7.30pm and we were tired after a 7 hour drive from Andora and finally found a hotel 8 miles away at &,35pm.

• Mark (8/5): Great last minute stop over. - Beautiful location very clean. We booked at last minute as a stop over on our way to southern Spain. No kettle in room. Were told we only need to ask for coffee in morning but this was at check out, so to late.

• Heesoo (6/5): Pleasant - The room was very clean and tidy. Good sized room and clean bathroom. Located in a beautiful village. My fault that I didn't check the WiFi availability. I tried to use my mobile phone roaming service but the coverage was very poor in that area. So it was difficult to plan the next leg of our trip online. There was no water or glass in the room. I asked for a wine opener to drink a glass of wine in our room since there was no bars open around the time we arrived. We didn't have enough drinking water either. We were told we were not allowed to comsume any food or drink in the room. We left the room a day earlier than our booked stay and found somewhere to stay. It just didn't suit our need.

• Michael (9/5): Peaceful & homely stay! - Very peaceful location, but just 15mins from Pamplona. Building from 1670,with original features in dining room. Bed/bathoom very modern and sympathetically stylish. Antonio and Mariesol could not be more lovely. Amazing brealfast with much from their garden. Very picturesque village. Recommended. Also, lovely municipal swimming pool nearby atPiscinas Municipales De Etxauri-ko igerilekuak.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was beautifully presented although the lack of a door to the bathroom was a bit odd. We parked our motorbike right next to the front door & street parking for cars would be easy. We took the Table d'Hote option for our first evening meal & the food was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. The only problem was noise, as the room had no air conditioning we had to have the bedroom window open and passers by seemed to like stopping for a chat on the benches outside, which isn't great in the early hours. Also, there was a speed bump in the road outside our window which was very noisy when a trailer or agricultural vehicle passed by. For such a rural location it wasn't terribly restful.
• Barry (10/5): Nice relaxing stop over. - Second time we've stayed here at Casa de la Cadena and the welcome again was very warming. Our forgotten item of clothing was waiting for us. The casa is kept in tip top condition with a lovely homely & relaxing feeling. The freshly cooked food is excellent with, in my opinion, faultless presentation. My only criticism, albeit a small one, was the offer of a glass of water or drink would have been welcome after our long hot drive. Mind you we could have asked. Not a show stopper for popped up the road to a nice local bar and relaxed before our excellent evening meal, served with home grown vegetables & locally produced wine from the area.

It was cheaper to pay 4 euros to park for a few hours in town than find a hotel with parking , let alone inexpensive. Antonio was a great host, interested and helpful without taking away any wanted privacy.

• Cinder (10/5): - This is one of those little, out of the way gems that make trips very special. The hospitality from the moment we walked in was warm and helpful. The room was clean and attractive. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners while we stayed at Casa de La Cadena. The food was excellent! The vegetables were from the home garden. Wine was carefully selected to compliment the dinner. All in all a wonderful place to stay.
• Barry (10/5): Exqusite personal experience - Excellent overnight stay after a nine hour drive. Lovely clean, modern, comfortable casa with a wealth of character. Unfortunately was raining hard so did not get to explore the lovely tranquil area. Our hosts made us very welcome and we had a beer & nibbles in the comfortable lounge area upon arrival. The log burner was lit as well as several candles creating a very relaxing ambiance. We hadn't booked a meal however were offered a very tasty menu, four courses of freshly prepared cooked local and homemade produce which we enjoyed with much pleasure, washed down with a local bottle of red wine. It was like we had our own personal chef & waiter! Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very well presented and tasty with attention to detail. A very comfortable room, overlooking the river, with a very nice bathroom. A good nights sleep was had. Highly recommended and would definately stay again. Many thanks to our hosts for an exquisite personal experience.

Very good breakfast including home grown figs and tomatoe, etc. Food and drink are not allowed in the bedrooms (apart from water). A kettle and cups/mugs to make a hot drink in the dining room would have been helpful. This is a small village with one bar, so not much to see or do, but lovely countryside for walking, etc. About 20 minute drive into Pamplona.

The Casa itself has been excellently renovated ... retaining charm and character whilst still having all the modern comforts you might want. The hosts are excellent. We opted for dinner at the Casa and it was fabulous. Fresh, home grown produce cooked to perfection. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

• Francisco Jose (10/5): - Ideal para desconectar de la rutina diaria. Los desayunos, completisimos. Las cenas, con productos de huerta y elaboración mimada, recuerdan a la cocina artesana y sin prisas.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Mala, pésima atención. - Muy mal: el wifi no anda en los cuartos. El señor que atiende es muy grosero. Fui en familia, pensamos pasar un día de campo encantador y resulto todo lo contrario. Le pedí mantas por frio, o que subiera la calefacción que tenía en el cuarto. La calefacción NO porque eso le iba a dar calor al resto de los pasajeros, las mantas NO, porque son insanas. Entonces no tienen mantas. Me trajo 2 muy finitas y me dijo que era insano?!?? Jamás me había pasado eso en un hotel. Creo que el señor se equivocó de negocio, una pena. El lugar es lindo. Y es barato. Hay que estar dispuesto a soportar el maltrato nada más.

• Jesus (10/5): Excepcional fin de semana. - Nuestra estancia ha sido muy corta, pero suficiente para darnos cuenta que Marisol y Antonio, con su personal, cercana y agradable amabilidad, con su constante preocupación por que nos sintiéramos en todo momento a gusto, tienen, con la Casa de la Cadena, una oferta de estancias, comunes y no comunes, con un alto nivel de confort, en un entorno de reconocida belleza natural, en un ambiente relajante, que, por nuestra parte, habiendo superado con creces nuestras expectativas, ya hemos comenzado a recomendar y que seguro, a nosotros, nos hará repetir. • JOSÉ (10/5): A casa de um casal amigo. - Acolhidos com a melhor amabilidade, quarto e WC amplos e confortáveis, comida caseira com insumos da horta tratada pelos proprietários.
• JOSE MIGUEL (10/5): Efectivamente, excepcional - Nadie nos recomendó el Hotel, lo elegimos por la información que obtuvimos a través de internet. Pues bien, todas nuestras expectativas quedaron superadas ampliamente durante nuestra estancia. La Casa de la Cadena es un caso excepcional en el mundo de la hostelería, un lujo al alcance de cualquiera, una suerte para quien lo elija. Nada mas traspasar la puerta de entrada te das cuenta de que allí se ha puesto mucha pasión y profesionalidad, todo está cuidado hasta el detalle, las zonas comunes, las habitaciones con sus amplios baños, las camas, los armarios, todo en armonía, cómodo, limpio, con colores relajantes, impecable. Antonio y Marisol saben perfectamente lo que hay que hacer para que sus clientes disfruten, te atienden con amabilidad, están pendientes pero sin agobiar, todos los días te preguntan por si necesitas alguna cosa, te informan de los lugares que puedes visitar, que conocen como nadie, y te dan la posibilidad de degustar sus deliciosos desayunos y cenas en los que incluyen los sabrosos (¡Ay que tomates!)productos de su huerto, por un precio más que discreto. La ubicación del hotel: estratégica, cerca de Pamplona y de los bellísimos espacios naturales de Navarra. Estuvimos cinco encantadores días, del 2 al 6 de septiembre de 2015. Luisa y José Miguel

• Verified traveler (10/5): This is a beautiful building and a lovely stay. - We had difficulty finding the location due to mixed addresses but once we did, we were delighted. A gorgeously renovated historic building in a lovely location. Very close to Pamplona for those wishing to stay away from a busy city.

• Mark (8/5): Good stop for Pamplona - I stopped en route to Pamplona, not knowing the facilities in town and moved closer in next day. It's a very comfortable stop on the road, though without aircon. Wifi was faultless, bed good, breakfast good too. There is fairly secluded parking outside. It's on the edge of a hamlet with nothing in, so not great unless you simply want tranquility. I didn't see a bar and no drinks or food were allowed in the room - bit of a blow after driving 300 miles and ready for my sandwich and wine. There was no TV either. But it was fine for a night and the staff helpful and friendly.
• darren (10/5): Excellent rural accommodation with friendly host. - The property is only 10 mins drive to Pamploma and is in a lovely rural setting. The host Antonio is a lovely man and speaks some English. The room is large and very nice. Our highlight was the home cooked meal from Antonio's wife and the quiet good nights rest. Thanks again.
