Christa (2/5): Won’t stay there again - It was clean enough, the bed was bad and other guests were awful. - Good location, right off the highway. Front desk employee was nice. Room was clean enough. A rug on the floor would’ve been nice, and the mattress had seen better days. The weather stripping on the door was coming off, and was sticking out. The walls were so thin, we could hear everything going on in the rooms on either side, and the room above.

Thomas (3/5): I arrogant disservice - Location Almost everything. I reserved a single handicapped. I got. "all our singles are on 2nd floor. If you use handicapped, you have to call me to bring key whenever you want in your room". Tv remote didn't work. Had to turn on and off and change volume manually. Ended up paying for a double, with no handicap rails which meant I had to take a sponge bath instead of a bath or shower.

juliehI9916GA (2/5): Horrible - This place has scorpions and centipedes. Went to the office they said I refuse for spraying in the room . I was never asked. Also I was in another room and in the middle of the night pouring down water in the bathroom from the room above me I have video of it plus pictures of the scorpion and centipede in that room. I left 2 days early and they charged my credit card 500.00 for the coming week. When I called management they said that charge was for smoking in that room. From the bottom room by the office it smelled like cannabis all the way down the hole bottom floor. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Cockroaches beyond belief..

The most disgusting place I have even seen. Never would recommend this motel. Nasty, smelled dirty. Cup hooks all over walls. Night stand split in half on top

I was told the curtains by last guest but after reading the reviews it seems this always that way. Holes in walls . A coffee table all by itself in room. There is a phone but is not even connected to anything. Door is a joke. Lodged a chair to the door to sleep. No security lock. Bed was lumpy and terrible. Too much nevative to say about this place. Nothing good. I paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1. I wouldn't have stayed at all but was left optionless.

My brother's microwave caught fire!! The Staff was friendly enough and tried to keep the area outside clean, but this was a complete disaster. The TV remote was missing the battery cover which in my mind represents just how half ass the state of this motel. Avoid it unless cost is your only metric for where you lay down at night.

I did ask for a first floor bedroom .. because I was bringing a boat and trailer .. and I did receive a email saying they could accommodate but failed to do so when I got there .. had to park in the grass near the dog poop area ..grass was not mowed

Elaine (1/5): I’ve traveled all over the world. This was the worst trip I’ve ever had. - The only good thing about this property is it was close to where I needed to be. The service was atrocious. I feel like I was deceived. I requested a handicap room and I was booked a handicap room but when I got there, they didn’t have any handicap room. They were able to put me on the ground floor which helped but then I get inside and I don’t even have a working shower I couldn’t get in and out of the bathtub so I spent a week at an important conference Washing out of the sink, including my hair.

FloridaElaine (8/5): Our experience was good. - We arrived in Rhome, TX, in the wee hours of the morning. Check in was easy and we had a room on the first floor, which was nice. No events were going on at the time, so there were not very many guests staying at the Motel. We had a good experience as the room was clean and quiet. Fine for an overnight stay. Everything worked fine and the beds were comfortable. We were pleased with our stay.
Oscar (6/5): Rhome trip - Very basic. TV remote did not have battery back plate and did not work. Turned TV on manually but was not able to change channels. Only needed room for overnight sleeping would not stay longer.

Arrived and told IF .i couldnt climb stairs would be $7.00 plus tax for downstairs. Pass deadline to cancel! Room was disgusting (i could oberlook lld chipped and damaged furnitire BUT missing door lock, door not aligned and open gap could ser putside, moulding away from baseboard and tripped, metal edges from toilet paper holder hanging from wall, tv remote didn’t work and tv sotting on top of dtesser, poor patch job, burn holes in blanket. Clerk said nothing wrong with room

I am hauling a million dollars in product with a $75,000 truck. I was not told how far at check in, she only said “DQ”. I returned for a refund, and was denied. She said “no refund policy”. Fine, whatever, I’ll dispute the charge with my CC company. Stayed at a competitor ten miles up the road. Worst M6 experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed at dozens of them.

Deadbolt on door would not lock. TV remote didn’t work properly. Shower two choices: ice cold or scalding hot, no in between. No elevator, and we were on the second floor. Vending machine dirty, and mostly empty. It also stole our money. We’ve stayed at many motel 6’s across the country and this was the worst one. Do NOT recommend.

Carmalita (1/5): Bad - Absolutely nothing Hot Water leaked in tub entire stay, ( no small leak either!) Said they couldn't do anything about it. We left our stay early due to loud music and drug activity in the room next to us. Asked front desk at midnight for them to please address the situation, however they did absolutely NOTHING. I knocked on the door ( which was not closed all the way) as I knocked the door came opened and I witnessed and saw drugs activity happening! . I will never stay or recommend this motel to anyone! It's not a safe environment!

The problem I had was the dog hair from to bed spread getting on my black sweat pants. I had to remove it from the bed because my clothes kept getting messed up.

I had to take a shower in the dark, and could not do my hair and hardly could put on make up. Then I expected to have Wi-Fi a TV and a telephone in the room and I didn’t have any working from most of the time I was there

Remotes to television could not be programed. And the lady *owner just plain rude. Didn't care or even try to address lany issues. Just a take it or leave it attitude and No refund if you decide to leave. Unfortunately this is the only hotel in at least a 20 mile radius

It's biggest benefit is that is close to my son, allowing me to spend as much time as I can.

Robin (2/5): - It was close to my job site. I drove 5 hours directly to the hotel. They canceled my reservation because of busted plumbing. Anthony said he called but I couldn't pick up while I was driving. The number for Motel 6 was nit on the ID. He was not very helpful and argumentative. I have not encountered that kind of hostility and I was very tired from my long drive. It was dark. None of the nearby businesses were lit up. I had to call at 6 pm to find another hotel last minute. Thankfully my daughter was able to locate a clean, friendly, Best Western hotel in Decature 18 minutes away.

Curtis (1/5): Not being done right - I didn't like the fact that I booked a room and use my card to whole the room and pay when I got there and then be told they didn't have the room anymore and laugh about it in my face I was not happy at all about being done that way
