- Christine (7/5): Ok but not as Grand as the name - The location. Room size was good. Helpful having a washer/dryer. In need of a refurb. Huge deep bath to climb in and out of to get a shower, especially for us older generation. Apart from one young man that booked us in the majority of staff were very stand offish and just totally ignored us. We booked for 7 nights but left after 6, just wanted to get home for some comfort.

- Louise (9/5): Good Stay in Townsville - Room was a good size and suited my needs. Reception staff were friendly. Location was good, dinner options in close proximity. Room smelt a little funky on arrival but after opening the doors and circulating some air it was all good.

We had to park in the drive way of the adjacent building, until a car space opened up. The reception is designed well; however I assumed the design would continue into the room. Our room was modern, minimal and meticulously clean, yet It didn't feel luxuriously grand like that of the reception.

- Raymond (8/5): Excellent hotel and location. - We had an adjoining room arrangement for my wife and I and our two sons. The location was excellent and we got a 'lazy Sunday' checkout at 6pm the next day (at additional cost). This was perfect as we were walking from the hotel to the NRL stadium that afternoon at 5:30pm. The kids and I used the hotel pool which was fun. The iron and ironing board need replacing.
