Guest Reviews
- Rhiannon (3/5): Wouldn’t stay again unless remodel was done. - Its closeness to I-5 They are remodeling so it’s a mess , pet hair on clean sheets , not cleaned very well tons of dust and crumbs under bed.
- Denise (7/5): I love the area and the staff is nice - I didn't know they had breakfast in the location is nice it's a beautiful area The washing of the walls
- Nancy (1/5): I will never stay at a motel 6 again. - Nothing, this place was a wreck. Everything, the non-smoking rooms stank of bug killer and stale cigarettes, the clerk at the desk told us we didn't have reservations and the motel was full, we threatened to call the cops if he didn't refund us and he just shrugged. The clerk was incapable of using the software and kept calling his boss on the phone to find out why he was double booked. We were in the parking lot when his daughter came running out to say he had "found" us in his system. The rooms were nasty. a young teenager was prowling the halls with a pit-bull on a rope and a diapered toddler. Someone tried to get into our room at night! This was easily my worst hotel experience in 40 years. We left at 10pm for a hotel down the street and just gave up on the considerable amount we had spent in this gross dive.
- Bhaskara (2/5): the room booked was not honored and switched us to small room with only 1 bed to 4 people. - No wifi , the room made reservation was not given with 2 beds they said its unavailable and gave only 1 bed room they didn't adjust the fare and we need to sleep on floor with 4 people on single bed. there is no wifi in facility.
- Lorena (8/5): It was pretty good! - It is closer to the freeway:)
It is a quite place to rest after a long drive. Need some repairs in room!
- Venkatraman (1/5): - No wifi, no complimentary coffee
- Dorothy (6/5): I hope that whoever’s the new owners will be that they’re going to put a little bit - The staff was wonderful I felt very safe there, knowing that they had cameras and they were able to watch the area around our vehicles. I was happy to hear that the police did regular patrols of the ground. The rooms need to be updated. The furniture is old, looked at the vent in the bathroom and it was disgusting. There was so much dirt and dust in that vent. They need to be cleaned on a regular basis. That’s not good
. The floor was clean, but just lots of marks and stains that have been there for a long time, the curtains were falling off of the curtain rods and the biggest problem is It’s just an old facility and it needs a lot of work. The furniture is old. It did not smell it . but it does need an update
. The grounds there was dog shit everywhere that you. Even on the sidewalk there was dog shit by one of the rooms. That’s the fault of people not taking care of the dogs poop. But the area next to where the fire lanes were that dirt area was full of poop. I mean there has to be some kind of ground keepers there I mean, if nothing else they should be at least cleaning up that stuff.
I was happy that they had cameras that they were watching the area for us. One person put a tweakers and that’s a place came through on regular rounds I did not feel unsafe there
- María Luisa (1/5): Mala experiencia - Nada Les falta muchísima limpieza a las instalaciones y me quería meter a la alberca y estaba totalmente verde y sucia, cuando en las fotos sale que está limpia
- Nicole (1/5): Hideous motel, avoid at all costs. - I liked nothing. I felt scared, like it wasn’t safe so I brought everything into my room to not get robbed. The room was filthy and there was tons of black mold in the bathroom. I was afraid to step on the floor by it was awful so I keep my shoes on the whole time. The curtain was falling down, everything single thing about this space was inhabitable. I didn’t want to use the toilet, shower or sink due to it being so filthy and rundown. The ripped box springs on the bed were exposed and I was so I comfortable, I could not wait to get out of there as soon as possible. If I hadn’t been on the road for 12 hours, I wouldn’t have stayed. Everything: I should have slept in my car.
- sara (1/5): -100 - Nothing it was completely locked up and no one was there. Why let me book a room if you are closed?! Dirty
- Xai (1/5): Horrible stay would never stay there ever again. - Nothing Motel room was dirty, restroom was dirty, room smells like cigarettes. The ventilation system sucks, you can smell the neighbors smoking weed coming from the AC vent. Microwave was dirty and missing parts. TV had no remote so I didn't even bother using the TV. Exterior was horrible as well, dead grass and weeds overgrown everywhere.
- Kathlene (9/5): Great - The staff was very helpful No fridge in the room
- Cathleen (1/5): We didn't stay - I want my money returned we did not end up staying there the place was filthy there was feces on and in the toilet less then half roll of toilet paper the TV didn't work floors were dirty it looked like all they did was make the bed it was absolutely horrible. We went for family reunion after the reunion was over we turned keys in didn't stay the night we drove home it looked like they were drinking when I turned in the keys and a scent of something like marijuana I was with my grandchild and did not feel safe there. absolutely NOTHING
- Mariasilvia (5/5): Good place for a night on the road. Spotless beds, bathrooms need a deep cleaning. - The beds were pretty clean, spotless. The keys worked well. The location of the motel was accessible. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Even if it looks like someone worked there to clean and prepare the room, the sink, the shower floor/walls, the shower curtain, the towel rack, and the toilet seat were filthy, like they need a stronger product to be cleaned or a magical eraser sponge; it would make a great difference. Also, the floors were greasy and sticky.
- Cynthia (1/5): N/A - You have got to be joking! I drove for 6 hours to find a hotel you had booked me into CLOSED, AND HAD BEEN FOR MONTHS!! Never will I use your service again! In fact I intend to report you to the Better Business Bureau! If I find a charge on my credit card for this “booking” I will be reporting you! Jackasses! Enough said!
- Melissa (7/5): Good option - Great location right off the interstate. Up the street from gas, food and shopping. Good option for a quick stay Bed was clean and made perfectly, but the bathroom needed a wipe down
- Barcus (4/5): Very low quality, dirty place. - The only positive is that it was a place to rest. Everything else about it is really low budget. Probably not going again. We had to switch rooms because the first room obviously did not have new sheets on it. We pulled back the comforter and there were other peoples' hair in the bed. The heating system only blew out cool air too. We've stayed here quite a few times on our way to Oregon and it seems the quality ad care is on a steep decline.
- Tami (1/5): Absolutely awful! - The only thing nice about this property was location We went to our room only to find out it hadn’t been cleaned, it was open and when we went inside there were beer bottles everywhere, the beds were unmade, the tv was blasting! We went and told the desk clerk, not very concerned or apologetic. There was trash all over flowing and all over. Gave us a new room and the bathroom wasn’t very clean, especially the shower! Then our bathroom sink was leaking at 11:00 at night, offered to change our room again or give us a bucket! Again not very apologetic, I took the bucket as we were leaving early in the morning! I thought motel 6 had better standards than this! It was ridiculous!
- Scott (10/5): -
- Kathryn (4/5): I would never stay here again. - The night staff was indifferent to the barefoot people hanging out unprotected in the in the pouring rain at the back parking area. Day staff was much friendlier and actually made some decaf coffee for me in the morning. The fact that I couldn't have a room on the first floor because "none of those rooms have heat." The spraying sink faucet that went all over. Didn't care for roach I had to kill either. Bed was awful.
- Schettler (1/5): It was an awful experience. It certainly appeared that the facility was being run by drug addicts. - The only thing that was favorable was the location. It was a quiet neighborhood. Everything was filthy inside the room. The bathroom had used tissue in the sink and dirt/mud smears on the sink and shower. The corners of the bedroom and bathroom had stacked dirt in them from never being cleaned. Holes in the walls of the rooms from electrical fixture maintenance but not repairing the sheetrock or repainting touchup work. The faucet in the bath sink was broken and only cold water worked. Toilet was dirty and looked as though did not get cleaned regularly.
- Jennifer (4/5): -
- Lisa (1/5): Never Again. Demolish this Place, Please. - Horrible. Unkept. An embarrassment for Motel 6. Trash everywhere outside. Trash from previous guests under the beds. Dirty. I think this place is so rundown there are very few rooms they can rent. It was probably nice in it's day, but should be demolished. The room reeked of weed. My dad got sick after be stayed here. Everything about this place was disgusting and gross.
- Jennifer (3/5): Motel 6 - Its down the street from Mt.Shasta
It was available.
Staff was friendly during the day. First five minutes being there as my son is walking up the steps one of the steps crumbled apart.
The pool was green.
Garbage all over the dumpster area.
The motel 6 sign was never lit up.
The bathroom had black mold on parts of the shower and ceiling.
- Brenda (1/5): Never been In such a dirty unkept hotel room - Nothing Was not clean at all !
- Brandon (1/5): Everything. Room was dirty. Holes in the wall. AC didn’t work. Bathroom was disgusting. - Nothing Everything. Room was dirty. Holes in the wall. AC didn’t work. Bathroom was disgusting.
- Michael Allerup (8/5): -
- wallace (1/5): Nasty - Convenient Food in fridge. Dried blood on the bathroom floor. Trash outside the door that was never picked up. There is no working temperature control that actually worked. Trucker prostitution ring, the best I can guess. So sad Motel 6. Horrible.
- 359debi (4/5): Really disappointed in Motel 6 - The toilet needs some bleach and the shower is dirty! The door doesn’t lock good had to put the chair in front of it! No screen on the window! But I guess that’s what you get for the price!
- Ramon (2/5): - Very dirty Nothing works heater everything fealty needs complete remodel is very bad
- Cameron (3/5): Not good - Staff was friendly Dirty floors/shower/towels
- Donna (6/5): Find another place to stay - It was quiet (and I was there on a Friday night) and the staff at the front desk at check in were very nice and friendly. Unfortunately a lot to list.
There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, as stated. I was traveling with medication that had to be refrigerated.
The pool had trash around it, was closed and was dark green water.
Room was not clean and even the shower had mold, which for an asthmatic is dangerous.
The AC was not working so I went to open up a window and there was no screen or lock on the window. As a single woman this was quite disturbing but I did have my dog and could only open a crack for fear of him trying to go out the window.
Only some lights worked.
Because of the filth and mold in the shower I was not able to shower so it was a disappointment.
- Jong (3/5): -
- James (1/5): We went to the front desk and asked for a refund - Dirty ,the pool was green, we ended up asking for a refund because when we walked into the room, there was a puddle on the floor in the room and it smelledlike urine
- Marcelle (3/5): - The staff were all pleasant and nice. The manager did not get back. The first night. nghtmare
Nothing worked in the room. was dirty shower curtain smelled like smoke was unacceptable.
There was alot of garbage around our rooms door. Never picked up end of next day
There was no wi/fi no open pool. Did not move us to another room. Had to go out get a fan no airconditioning on a record high day in August Labor Day. The staff smokes outside the room all day. I am allergic and had to have a window open for air due to no airconditioning, It was awful. I was told that The manager would discount our 3 night stay. Full price back the first night. He has not yet contacted me.. There are many more complaints to list!. Was dissatisfied with this Hotel.
- Shawn (2/5): - The location The room was dirty and the pool was closed and very dirty
- Cole (2/5): - No Wifi (standard motel 6 wifi wasn't working and the replacement network the desk agent mentioned didnt exist anywhere on the property), No AC, promised upper story room and gave lower story in direct sun that was 90 degrees until well after dark. Broken window fell off its frame and on my head when I tried to open it. I understand that this was labor day weekend at the cheapest place in town, but this was unacceptably bad.
- Maria (5/5): -
- marklJ4327SI (2/5): Terrible experience - When we arrived our room was very dirty the tv didn’t work the smoke alarm was falling off the ceiling I was so excited to go to the pool instead it was chocolate brown and no WIFI and the cleaner sucked
- stacy (1/5): Pool closed. Dirty shower and sheets. Sketchy. Just gross as a whole. - The location was fine. Was told over the phone by Booking.com (before reservation) that pool was open and closed at 9 pm. This was the whole reason we chose to stay here. I was charged at time of booking and found out when we got there that pool was closed, like not just for the day, like long term closed. I would have left and moved to another hotel but I couldn't afford to pay for another while I still had money tied up in this one. My daughter found a used nicotine pouch in the sheets in the morning, which showed that the sheets had not even been changed. The were obvious dark hairs stuck to the shower wall as well. Place was just plain gross and sketchy.
- William (1/5): -
- Marti (1/5): -
- angelceron (1/5): Ughhhhhhhh...... - The room was REALLY dirty, like been weeks with out mopping and under the beds seems like a broom never been there in months...
- Gayane (1/5): Awful - Even the shower didn't work Everything was at a terrible level
- Eric (7/5): They need to clean the rooms - Close to the highway Dirty Not walking distance to restaurants, stores and coffee
- Lance (6/5): -
- Edith Adriana (5/5): -
- Anja (7/5): Buena relación calidad-precio. - Las camas y los baños estaban limpios. El suelo no estaba limpio, parece que hace falta pasar la fregona.
- ABHIJIT (4/5): - Location , internet speed Coffee is not available also campus is not that clean .
- Akshay (8/5): - 10 min to mt shasta downtown
- Devansh (2/5): - Internet did not work although they mention high-speed internet. No Coffeee available in morning either
- Robert (3/5): I would never stay here again. - Convenient location. Mattress was comfortable. No bed bugs. No TV as advertised. No functional Internet as advertised. AC was meh. Lights above bed did not work. There was a lingering smell in the room. Bathroom floor was squishy. Low rider toilet. Front desk person offered a 10% discount, which I’m assuming I won’t get.
July 31: July 3 I was told property manager approved 10% discount. I would see it in 3-5 business days. Nothing. Contact Motel 6 corporate. I was told 7-14 days. Nothing. I contact the property directly. They told me I had to contact booking. Booking contacted property to initiate approval. They said I would hear back within 48 hours. Nothing. I call booking again and they send another message to property. Completely dishonest property.
- gercys (3/5): - El baño totalmente dejado manchas negras de moho el retrete feo una ducha qué no funcionaba bien poca agua el aire acondicionado no te deja dormir de lo ruidoso
- Shane (3/5): Blah. - Easy in an out. Blood in the bathroom and dirty
- F5854QCdianem (2/5): Don’t stay here - Worst hotel ever Motel ever there are bugs crawling all of us from cockroaches to crickets. It’s disgusting. I can’t even go to sleep because I am watching my son and my husband because every time I turn over there’s another bug.
- Luis (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything
- David (2/5): -
- Lucas (1/5): Left wondering when the last overdose happened in our room - Leaving Dead bug in the bed sheets, wifi and TV have been down for 6+ months so obviously there is no intention to fix them. The pool was green and closed in the middle of July. Stains on the bed sheets and walls. Bathroom had a quarter roll of toilet paper left in it on arrival. Graffiti on furniture. Floor was dirty and dusty. Wood laminate on both beds coming apart and missing. Outlets that didnt work. Shower was dirty
- Fermín García (3/5): - .no pool open no tv services no Internet, no ice machine working also a lot spider 🕸️ in the room
- Eva (2/5): -
- D6992AQsw (2/5): Sleep in your CAR - Inside door lock Broken, did not function at all. No television reception or Wifi on the property; Bathroom sink Faucet water came out very hard in one small (like 3mm) jet stream. Toilet water continual running. mattresses old and sagging. pillows inside the case were old and yellow. The window drapes ancient and weathered. No glass plate inside microwave. The grounds outside were unkept and gave off strong scent of urine. Area Around Swimming overgrown and the pool water green, littered, and disgusting. Trash overflow in abundance at outside receptacles. Rooms not ready by 4pm. There was a Newer shower and flooring. Sheets, blanket, towels, floor, shower, waste baskets were clean.
- Cynthia (2/5): - Pool was GREEN. Towels thin & only two bath & wash cloths for 3 people.
Dirty floors. No wifi. No TV. No pool.
Just all around disgusting. Except the lady at front desk. Sweet.
- Tristan (1/5): Worst room I've ever rented - N/A Water abruptly shuts off after 10 minutes, nonworking heater, extremely thin blanket, very uncomfortable bed, nonworking television, no fridge or microwave
- Pia C (4/5): - The property was running down. Ghost town, no tv, no shampoo, no microwave no fridge or ice no mirrors. Staff smoke in the office. Definitely will NOT come back to this property.
- Luis Carlos (7/5): -
- Wayne (4/5): Disappointed - Microwave and refrigerator All TV's down, no signal. It would have been nice to know in advance. It was a very all room with 2 small full beds, and it was not cheap to stay at
- Darlene (3/5): Your Basic Room With Flying Bugs - Bedding, ADA shower No chair, no soap, bugs in the room, hadn’t been cleaned when we checked in at 9:30 pm, no fridge or microwave or coffee maker, no luggage stand, front door looked like it had been kicked.
- Michael (1/5): -
- Kelly (1/5): This place is a dump and should be shut down!! - Nothing Everything!!! Nothing worked. No hot water. Computers down. Tv not working. Faucet and shower head broken. Stained sheets. Toilet wouldn’t stop running. Couldn’t stay. Had to find another hotel. Had been closed for three months and should never have opened.
- Beatrice (1/5): Unable to stay. Motel is closed - Closed Closed
- Ursula (1/5): - This propertywas closed had to find other accommodation
- Brenda (2/5): - This motel has been closed for over a month, i was forced to find a different motel to stay. This site does not reflect that the motel 6 in weed ca is closed permanently
- Robert (5/5): -
- Monika (7/5): I’m glad I find the price I can afford near our destination, that allow us to go for this trip. - There was no breakfast, at least we werent aware that there was one. Out destination was mt. shasta so it wasnt too far. The room was simple and nice.
Not enough hangers and towels.
Fridge would be nice to store baby food and other food we brought. That’s kinda basic. The poop around the grassy area was groth. It was right next to a parking spot by the stairs and of course it was hard to avoided especially for my kids who first run into the grassy patch around the tree. There was loads of poop.
Also under the bed was very dusty, imagine we are breathing that.
It would be nice to have sheer curtains for the day to maintain privacy but still have light from windows.
I guest underneath was smoking outside their rooms which went into our room. That’s disgusting. They should be smoking away from the hotel so my kids and I don’t have to breath it. They also didn’t pick up poop from their dog. I reported to front desk about it.
The shower part the bottom seemed dirty but it was maybe just a stain.
- Behling (1/5): Could not stay there - motel was closed down. - THE MOTEL WAS SHUT DOWN AND I HAD TO FIND OTHER LODGING!! YOU OWE ME A FULL REFUND!!! NO ONE NOTIFIED ME OF THE SHUTDOWN EVEN THOUGH I HAD YOUR CONFIRMED RESERVATION.
YOU OWE ME A FULL REFUND!!
- Michael (2/5): - They were closed by their bank. I stayed somewhere else.
- Gavin (9/5): - The staff was SUPER friendly, it's a great spot for a quick wink before you hit the road again. We left our cell phone charger and they set it aside for when we were on our way back
- Rodney (4/5): - The front desk girl was good, facility is old and needs repairs & upgrades, no toilet paper in room
- Verified traveler (2/5): No happy - Dirty floors, bathroom smelled like mold, no toilet paper, no tv
- Nathaniel (2/5): - This place should be condemned! Its like a trap house. Falling apart
- Steve (8/5): -
- DeWayne (4/5): - We did not stay because after we checked in at the front desk, they advised us there was NO TV service. We found other accommodations for the evening.
- Jennifer (2/5): Do not stay here - We had to move rooms, multiple times. the lock mechanisms on windows are shady. Did not feel secure. Anyone could have easily opened them. Not secure. We had to rig with tools to sleep. Floors are so dirty, we wore our socks just so are feet didn’t stay covered in black. Layer of dust on phone. Was not aware of no cable for tv. We looked for remote. Asked for one and was told they removed all remotes. Should have had a warning when the door to office is hard to open and makes a very bad noise. Towels have big holes in them. Light switches covered in fingerprints and dirt. Stains on ceiling. Poop splatter from previous guest in toilet. Housekeeping came knocking on door with a cigarette in mouth telling us no one was to be in our room. Even though the night person did properly tell her about all the room changes we had to go through. This place is a dump. Sketchy even by motel 6 standards.
- Judit (10/5): - It was a clean and nice hotel for my stay on the road. The lady at the front desk was super nice.
- Andrei (10/5): - .
- Ronald (8/5): - It was good in a pinch..
- Matt (4/5): Unsure - Staying for just an overnight stay, office smelle like smoke. WiFi didnt work, and front desk staff had no clue what the network WiFi name was or how to even log-in. Bothroom did not have shampoo.
- Paul (2/5): Want My Money BACK - Snow made parking lot navigatable with a HumVee. Didn't have one. Key card didn't work... several times. New room no TV and still no workable key. Attendant didn't seem to think asking him to unlock our door each time we wanted to enter was a big deal. He thought we had a bad attitude and told us to leave. Was told I would be given a refund. Don't see it. Will contact my credit card company and refuse to pay.
- Amber (6/5): - The first room wasn't even cleaned up at all then the sink sprayed water alllllll over when you turned it on even barely
- Sean (10/5): - Great stay!
- Ashley (6/5): - Our heater didn’t work and it was snowy outside , and the room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly (found a lot of trash under beds ) , but otherwise for the friendliness’s of the staff , price , and convenience it was a good stay!
- Rebecca (8/5): Was great for inexpensive room - Service was great, check in easy, heater worked well which was great cause it was middle of winter & snow outside. It's not a luxury motel, but it was clean, decent bed & basic necessities. Nothing broken, not working or any bugs. This location better than average Motel 6. Very affordable, service was great & check in quick & easy. Will stay again on my way back this trip & in future.
- Jillian (6/5): - The parking lot had not plowed leaving two heavily snow bermed slippery spots. First room provided hadn't been cleaned/beds unmade. New room had no TV and dated fixtures. Room key cards did not work and front desk clerk had to let us in the room every time we came amd went.
- Margaret (4/5): Not. - We did not stay in your motel you had no Wi-Fi you had no TV. The doors would not lock. He had to unlock the doors and lock the doors so we went to another place. Maybe with the power and all that was there could’ve been OK but we did not stay
- Doug (2/5): - The owner didn’t bother to plow the parking lot after the storm yesterday. We got stuck. And we’ve watched at least six others cars get stuck. The woman at the front desk is very nice, but the maintenance guy was apparently asleep by 7:30 pm so no one could help us get unstuck. The rooms smell horrible of smoking. The phone is broken. The WiFi passcode doesn’t work. The fire alarm in the room is missing… just wires hanging from the ceiling. This is worse than a dump. And the heater is broken.
- DeviantAnomaly (7/5): -
- jerry (1/5): don't go there. I would have been better to have slept in my car. - no heat !!!!! below 30 outside. broken shower.
- Ryan (8/5): Quick - Quick
- Maxim (7/5): Great staff, dirty floors - The staff was super cool The floors were super filthy, the tweakers next door stayed up all night making noise until 7am...
