As others have mentioned the bathroom did not have good ventilation and there was some questionable stains (probably mold) growing on the ceiling. Was not a big issue for just a night’s stay.

• Goda (7/5): Nothing special but easy self-check-in and good for the night - Location near subway, interesting and cosy area. Easy to find and self-check'in. The shared kitchen is big enough. No need to see others. The only little thing I don't like for this trip is the noise from other rooms. The walls are paper-thin Some other guests don't keep the silence (or sometimes it is impossible due to closing the doors). A bit dirty in our room. Very old-school, needs refurbishment but for such price it is understandable.

• Napapat (8/5): Good Location. Comfy bed. - The location is good, not too far from the subway station. I walked back during it seemed okay. The baggage drop and check in process is easy. Its good for introverts. No need to meet any staff. The only little thing I don't like for this trip is the noise from surroundings. My room is located in the ground floor. When the others customers come in and out the guesthouse. They do make some noise but its not the big deal.

• Francisco (1/5): Do not stay here. - Convenient location, low price, clean kitchen Firstly, “Reception” is just a storage house off to the side. Got into my room and it smelled humid and to my shock when I looked further into the room I see a wall covered with mould. I hope the window to ventilate the room and find that the bug net is completely covered in filth. The ventilator in the bathroom doesn’t work and the sink drains at the back onto the floor. There is no sound proofing so I can hear my neighbours chatting and laughing away in the middle of the night. I wrote to the staff using Booking and received no reply.

• Eliath 91 (8/5): - La ubicación es excelente muy cerca de la estación Hongik negocios, supermercados, cafeterías, restaurantes, si llegas antes del check-in tienen un espacio en recepción para poder guardar el equipaje, las instalaciones muy bien los espacios compartidos. La habitaciones 302 si eres una persona de estatura considerable vas a tener cuidado los techos muy bajos, el baño no había papel higiénico todo lo demás bien.

• Ángel (7/5): Buenas ubicación si quieres estar en Hongdae - Está ubicado en el barrio de Hongdae a pocos pasos de bastante restaurante y de la calle peatonal, el ambiente de la zona es muy bueno. El servicio de guardamaletas es auto gestionable y muy conveniente para dejar tus maletas antes o después.La comunicación vía WhatsApp es muy ágil y sin bastante rápidos..y flexibles con guardar tus maletas. Puedes usar una pequeña área de cocina en ambas platas, nevera, fuente de agua y lavadora. Las señoras de la limpieza son muy simpáticas y nos ofrecieron cambio de toallas en varias ocasiones, pero el cuarto no tiene limpieza, solo por informarlo. Nos tocó la habitación 201 y la verdad que es muy ruidosa al estar junto a la entrada, el baño está fuera de la habitación aunque es de uso privado mediante código númerico. Quizás tuvimos mala suerte o la oferta que ofreció Booking era esa habitación, otras como la 203, 205 se ven más tranquilas.

• Stephan (5/5): - Good location, comfy bed, good wifi Lots of warnings and fine threats in the hostel, which don't convey a nice and welcoming atmosphere. If you don't check out in time (at 11) you will be charged 10.000 for every hour and checking out here means that you must leave the whole guesthouse. So you can't check out of the room and have breakfast in the kitchen or wait out bad weather inside (or risk that they'll charge your credit card) Check-in is also only possible from 4 p.m. so the time that you can spend inside the guesthouse building is limited. Food (unopened and labeled) that we put in the fridge was thrown away the same day. Room was okay, bathroom had a bit of mold though.

• Carlos (5/5): Great location, disappointing room. - The location was the only plus of the room - also that they let us do early check-in. The room was a bit disappointing. The floor was constantly wet, like if there was a broken pipe. The bathroom had mould all over, and the bed was very hard as well. They were covered with a plastic sheet, which made them very noise when moving at night.

• Claudine (1/5): Bad - The neighborhood Everything? Lack of cleanliness, honesty, black mold all over the walls of the room and the bathroom, which was a safety hasard. The room didn't look like the picture , the building look like it was collapsing on itself with all the cracks and the bending walls. The kitchen was good, it had everything we needed and more. Nonetheless, the owner was quick to respond ans switched us to a "better" room even though it was twice as small for the 4 of us. Would not recommend even though it's cheap.
• Melih (5/5): Uncomfortable Bed - Location was ok. It is 10 minutes to Hongdae district by walking. There was water dispenser which serves hot and cold water. They provided us to leave our luggages before check in and after check out. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable. There was a plastic foil under the duvet cover. (They probably didn't remove the plastic mattress packaging during transportation so that the bed wouldn't get dirty.) It made a rustling sound at the slightest movement. That's why I woke up at least 5 times a night. Also, the bed was very hard. The bathroom was provided with an apparatus attached to the toilet sink and was small. I can't say that I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room.

• Leh (1/5): Yuck. - None The perfect place if you want to stay in a terrible sharehouse masquerading as a guesthouse with people who are in Seoul for a good time not a long time. The "private" rooms feel worse than dorm rooms, with messed up curtains and no floor heating (which every place in Korea has). The fire hazard radiator installed right under the plug (just as dangerous as it sounds) makes the room so bone dry that I was bleeding from my nose during the whole stay. Thr bed is so lumpy and hard, I would have preferred to sleep on the floor. The soundproofing is insanely bad, where you can hear people whispering in the hallway as if they were right beside you. Every step anyone takes in the building creates reverberating booms for that earthquake experience. Oh and the cherry on top! The "private" bathroom advertised on the booking screen was OUTSIDE THE ROOM, ACROSS THE HALLWAY!! It had a lock that required a password every time we needed to use it, but was still technically "private" because of said lock. What a joke. All the amenities were dirty because it seems the responsibility to clean was on the guests and not the staff, who's main concern was banging loudly on your door at 11 am checkout time on the dot, not a second later. The location, although again, technically a 10 minute walk from hongdae station, that's exit 3, which is the furthest from any major fun areas. We went our drinking to the main areas and had to take a taxi back because it was more than a 35 minute walk from there. This whole thing feels like a scam, delicately dancing the line of blatant lies with their "technically correct" advertising. The interior is littered with ads from neighborhoods shops with questionable services which gave the full experience of living in a dingy popup website full of ads.

• B (7/5): Nice and good value property would recommend also for groups stayigg by with more people as they have bigger rooms you c - Spacious room with private bathroom lot of natural light with windows. My bathroom was separate from my room, but not far just across the room. The other rooms have the bathroom included in the room I think it’s a layout thing not the guesthouse fault perse. For me a little bit far walk to metro but not that far I’m just used to being closerby but the streets there are nice lined with coffee shops and restaurants from local owners mostly.
• Jaja (8/5): Happy holiday! - The location is good near the Hongik Univ exit 3 and you can get most things from the area (food, coffee and convenient stores are just by the roadside of the house). Shower have good water pressure too. Also you can put your luggage before check-in in the reception & overall is in good condition! It has three storey so if you get second or third storey room it might a little bit inconvenience for you to bring up your big luggage.

• Faten (1/5): Bad - The guesthouse is strategically located near Hongik Uni Station Exit 3. There are food and fashion streets tourists can explore. For Muslim tourists, there are several restaurants selling halal food, such as Nusantaraku, Iftar, and The Halal Guys. I had a very disappointing experience with SisnBro Guesthouse. Initially, we booked nine rooms for our program participants (23 people) in advance, but upon our arrival in Seoul on August 21, 2024, we were shocked to find that the owner had cancelled our booking in the morning we arrived Seoul because we overbooked the place, which is ultimately ridiculous since we booked the rooms since July. This left us completely stranded in an unfamiliar city, with no place to stay. Booking.com had already taken our money, and we were informed that the refund would take several days. This kind of last-minute cancellation is incredibly unprofessional and caused a great deal of stress for our group, knowing about this only the day we arrived Seoul, the time is already late for us to find another place, so all of us had to fork out extra money to stay at jimjibang (public bath house nearby). As Muslim, jimjibang is not convenient since we need to pray and all, so i decided to still book a room at this place. Again, had another frustrating experience with the check-in process. When I arrived, I had to wait quite a while to receive the self-check-in guide. I tried calling the owner multiple times, but there was no response. Fortunately, a kind stranger helped me contact the owner using a local number, and the owner picked up right away! This situation felt unprofessional, especially for a guesthouse that caters to international visitors. If you’re running a guesthouse, it’s crucial to be prepared for the needs of foreign guests and ensure clear communication. I hope they improve their check-in process in the future. If the owner needed to change the booking or increase the price because there are many of us, they should have communicated that in advance rather than cancelling on the day we arrived. I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else in the future.

The subway to the guesthouse is not easy to walk, and it will be very hard to push the luggage‼️⚠️ And the room size cannot be selected. There was a small kitchen that you could use. Good WiFi. The sounds was okay In room 201, the ensuite bathroom isn't ensuite but on the other side of the hall. So you always have to go out of your room, pass the front door to go to the toilet or to take a shower. The bed was awful. You felt every spring of the matrass. Room and bathroom could use a renovation. Bathroom had fungus on the ceiling

Its cozy, the location is really good, in a couple of minutes you have the street were everything happens, a lot of food, dance, music, shopping and cafes. around 10 mint walking you can find the metro and the principal street ! The Bathroom wasn’t really good cleaned! There were black mushrooms behind the door and in the sink and in the shower chain.

• Aj (5/5): no quality - the rooms are mouldy!!! it just seems like someone is trying to make money: nice pictures but in reality disappointing - matraces on the floor, cheap furniture if at all, barely working bathrooms, top floor rooms mean one can barely stand up, tiniest window. lots of signs about what not to do. dirty tissues in my room, yuk.
• Carolina (8/5): Very good - Location is great!! And the room the price is perfect. We got the room in the basement floor next to the entrance and there was a lot of noise. The room is a bit smelly.
• Mark (1/5): We saw the room in person and decided not to stay, opting for a more expensive hotel in walking distance. Host communic - Location was good. Bugs (flies and cockroaches), mold, dust as thick as butter. Bed mattress was terrible.
• Mark (1/5): Host is terrible, poor communication. Did not end up staying the night. - Location Disgusting, flies and bugs, prison mattress and mold on the walls.
• Daniel (3/5): Uncomfortable and misleading - The location is good. It was clean and I liked the style of the room. The bed actually felt like it had rocks in it. There was almost 0 padding in the mattress and you could feel every spring in the mattress. Other people have complained about hard mattresses, so I don't understand why the owner can't invest in a cheap mattress topper.. I legitimately have never experienced a mattress even remotely as hard as that.. Also, my room was advertised as a private with an ensuite. However, the private bathroom is across the main entrance to the building, meaning you have to take your clothes, etc and awkwardly walk through the entrance area. I think this was misleading because you expect an ensuite to be immediately joining the bedroom. I wouldn't have booked here if I had known.. Considered booking another place when I got there but it was too late in the evening. I would've been happy to provide this feedback in-person but no one was around.

• Beata (1/5): Bad - Nothing. Many things. The room was upstairs with no elevator. There was mould on the walls, and the bathroom was dirty and terrible, not to mention the doors weren't closing (I had to really hard push them to close). The ceiling of the room was really low so i had to bend all the time (and im quite short myself). I didn't stay the night, had to look for another place and Im still waiting for the refund for this one.
