Tony (8/5): Overall, a pleasant stay, with only minor issues. - Location, nicely outfitted room, the coffee/tea facilities and fridge were excellent and the breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and informative. Bathroom extractor fan, that sounded like a jet engine, could not be turned off and roared all night. Wall sound-proofing between rooms could also be better. The all-in-one doona was way, way too hot, however all hotels unfortunately use this bedding now, so not a complaint specific to the Banjo Patterson, just something I mention in most reviews in a futile protest. Just a mention that I stayed here for the first time for the convenience of the bistro, which has been excellent in the past when I visited Jindabyne. While the breakfast was very good the steak dinner the night before was far from good - hopefully just an outlier.

The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time away. Laura (10/5): Good view! Good room! Wonderful stay! - Wonderful stay after 5 hours drive from Sydney. Friendly staffs. We stayed on level three. Good view of the lake from our room. Bar downstairs was not an issue to us. They adjusted the music volume and bar customers didn’t make loud noises on purpose nor have any aggressive behaviour during our stay. Love their free snowy way bear and complimentary breakfast. You have nice views from the restaurant and bar. One restaurant closed for renovation. The other one gets really busy on the nights we stayed. Good bar attendance and restaurant services. Feel warmly welcomed and happy to spend our holiday there. Parking access from level two. There’s no lift so you will need to carry your luggage up and down.
Angela (9/5): Great location, gorgeous room - We decided to extend our stay in Jindabyne and are so happy we stayed at Banjo Paterson. It is in a great location and walking distance to all the shops and plenty of restaurants. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and very clean. Loved the bathroom with walk-in shower and balcony area too. The breakfast in the morning was an added bonus before our long drive home. We definitely recommend and would stay again! Nothing, everything was great!

So probably the wall is not too think for noise being heard from another room; we can hear from the balcony also the loud partying of bar guests until 1230 for quite a bit and then it stopped

The included breakfast had a good selection. We will definitely revisit if we are in the area again. Only downside was the lack of a lift up to the rooms - with big heavy suitcases it wasn't the easiest to get up from reception

The room was close to all the shops and was close to the lake. It was a short drive to various tourist attractions including the Wildbrumby distillery. It would have been nice to have a microwave, but it was close to plenty of food outlets.
