Guest Reviews
- Deborah (8/5): - We attended the Warrensburg Largest Garage Sale Weekend. The Motel is only 20 minutes away from the event. Located near Chestertown so you can go out to eat or grab groceries at the local Grocery Store. Motel is Dog Friendly and we did not have any issues with the Wi-Fi.

This is a quaint, no frills cabin that has exactly what you need with a down-home feel. The fire pit is lit every night out back with ample room to sit and enjoy the scenery or chat with anyone who may stop to sit. Lawn games are available and it's conveniently located to many of the area attractions and eateries. Had a great time!
- cindy (10/5): Adirondack trip - Very nice and cozy
- Kelly (8/5): - The host was very warm and welcoming. I felt accommodated and all my questions were answered. The cabin was just right for traveling solo. Was a little put off by the fact of having the fridge and microwave in the bathroom and noticed that the front door didn't seal on one side so the cold air came right through making the room a bit chilly. Over all I did enjoy the stay.
- ALIX (10/5): - The cabin was spotless. The entire place had rustic charm. The owners were so sweet and accommodating. We can't wait to go back.
- Bradley (10/5): - Owners are very nice people and friendly. Clean quiet cabins. Lovely area.

- Edward (10/5): - As a first-time visitor, the lady manager was extremely helpful in coordinating our check-in and credit card payment. She also arranged our room 's powder needs.
She is also a very friendly /owner hostess.

A plus too they have bbq area around the back and a campfire and children play area, it’s a A in my book!!!
- James (10/5): - We were in end room so we heard lots of traffic but otherwise it was quiet and comfortable. All the special touches around the grounds were very nice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute Cabins - Cute, little cabins. Friendly, helpful staff. The bed was very soft, and the shower was very small. There was a seating area outside of the cabin and a place to make S’mores outside.

- michael (8/5): - Owners were great
- David (10/5): - Very good
- Tammy (10/5): - A friend and I stayed 2 nights. The beds were comfy, the rooms are super clean and just the right amount of rustic decor. The rooms have window units that work great. Unlike the chain hotels, ours was cleaned while we were out. I got the pleasure of meeting Noreen, the owner and her husband. They were so nice and accommodating and have great suggestions for things to see and where to eat in the area. They put out coffee every morning at 7. The grounds are lovely, and I would definitely stay here again.
- Paul (10/5): - Friendly, family owned business. Clean, neat, old style rooms with real keys.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely small cabins! Very comfortable. Great back area that we didn't use as we were only there for one night, but the firepit was great plus lots of area for small kids to play and easily be kept an eye on. Would definitely stay again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely, peaceful lodging . Perfect for a rustic getaway. Norleen and her friendly dog “Pierce” greeted us warmly upon arrival, and promptly built a good bonfire in the fire pit as soon as we were checked in. She could not have made us feel more welcome.
A hot shower was the only thing lacking. The water in our shower never went beyond lukewarm. Aside from that, no complaints: our room was super clean and comfortable with homey touches and all the necessary amenities. Would definitely recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The cabin was cute and cozy. It worked perfect for our one night stay.

In case you were wondering, Check-in was pretty straightforward and fast —plus the owner are very friendly.

- Subhadeep (8/5): Nice quiet getaway - Good location, especially in this day of Covid and social distancing.

15 miles or so drive to Lake George and Walton Landing.
Pet friendly .. nice property to walk the dog.
Great Firepit for late evenings and watching the stars.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - bert and norleen are nice people always have a nice stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Owners are great and will help you with anything. Top Notch
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owners are very nice, the room very clean and convenient location for me.
- Maryann (10/5): Review from Westchester County New Yorker! - We loved the room! Very comfortable. We didn't stay in it long....we came to visit old neighbors...loved the fact there was no phone. My only minor complaint, I thought the hot water was not on...might could have told us to run the water awhile....but all good!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean room, Family owned and operated, very hospitable
- Ann (8/5): Quaint and Simple - Very basic-no frills, but clean with very friendly hosts. I've stayed there a few times over the years.
- Laura (10/5): - We stayed in one of the cabins, which are small but very cozy. There was heat, wifi and TV, which is rare to find in the adirondacks. There was also a cute porch in front to sit outside.
- Shelley (4/5): - Looked cute but our experience went downhill fast. No coffee maker or microwave in the room, very spotty unreliable wifi. Every part of the light over my daughter's bed turned on by touch, including the wire that ran down the wall behind the bed - no headboard so she ended up accidentally turning the light on and waking herself up all night long. Meanwhile, the light over my bed could not even reach the extension cord to be plugged in. Bought a cheap one and found out that my light could only be turned on/off by plugging/unplugging it. No hot water in the bathroom sink, unless it ran for 3-4 minutes. (You could get hot water after a shower) The second night the toilet broke in the middle of the night. When we woke up there was water all over the bathroom floor and soaking into the carpet just outside. I went to report it - she gave me some towels and said she'd be right over. Meanwhile I took the top off the toilet and fixed it myself. Well, she never showed up, no answer at the motel phone number. I finally told my daughter to go ahead and take a shower. I went outside and finally found her and she told me she forgot to ask which room we were in. There are only 12 rooms, and most of them were already empty for the day - how hard would it have been to go door to door and ask, especially for a broken and leaking toilet! At least they showed up later and dried everything up, but we missed our morning plans because of waiting for her to show up to our room.
- Kerry (10/5): - Loving & welcoming Cabin experience in the Adirondacks. We stayed overnight for a wedding and enjoyed it so very much.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - lovely setting. comfortable room. staff friendly and helpful
- JoeGould (10/5): - Norleen was the perfect hostess. She explained all the amenities of the motel carefully including coffee in the morning and even directed me to the nearest gas station.
The room was quiet and comfortable and exceptionally clean. Fresh towels were provided every day. A very pleasant stay.
The only concern was that you could not connect via HDMI a computer the the TV screen even though all the proper hardware was there. A minor issue but I still give the motel the highest rating.!
- Batt (10/5): - The owners are special people with an outgoing, positive, and helpful attitude. They are very dog friendly. This was are 3rd visit and we can't wait to come back.
- Lauren (10/5): Perfect cabin getaway - Had a great stay! The cabins are adorable and very accommodating!
- Kevin (10/5): - Great experience! Family owned and run - VERY friendly staff!! Will go back!!
- Jennifer (10/5): - It really nice and quit there and camp fire also really nice poeple i enjoy it there
- Mary (10/5): - Hand made quilts on the beds. Hand made curtins in the windows. Clean and comfortable. Very nice family running it and very dog friendly. Really liked my stay there.
- Ray (8/5): - An Adirondack experience- quaint cabin, bonfire every evening, lovely setting and fresh coffee in the morning.
- Ruth (10/5): - Clean, cozy, quiet, convenient, affordable. Simple and small older cabins, but had everything we needed and well set back from the road. Child and pet friendly, with playset and firepit in back. Noreen was so friendly and helpful! No breakfast, but great coffee!
- Brian (10/5): Ghost Ride - Second year in a row we have stayed here. You feel like family and there’s always fresh hot coffee in the morning.
- Ann (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful owner and a beautiful setting. Nice facilities (comfortable, but not spacious). Bathroom with shower in each cabin. Wifi did not work in our cabin (but was fine when sitting in the trees closer to the building.
- Donna (10/5): - Marlene was very helpful in finding a TV remote control for us. She showed me how Rosie, her Neato automatic vacuum cleaner, worked. The room was what I expected. Hot beverages were available in the morning. Marlene was also helpful in giving directions to restaurants and local attractions. I will stay there again if in the area.
- EEA (10/5): - Nice simple roadside motel. Owners are hospitable and accommodating. Lovely grounds and close to restaurants in Chestertown. I will be staying there again in the future for my annual visit to the area.
