• Verified traveler (10/5): - Personnel très aimable et d’une grande gentillesse. Bungalows tous rénovés et très jolis et fonctionnel.
• Hervé (6/5): Installations douteuses et service peu aimable. - Une première nuit compliquée, la télé ne fonctionnait pas, quelqu’un est venu mais n’a pas réussi à la régler donc pas de télé. La douche était à peine tiède voire froide. Puis vers 2h heures du matin, toutes les lumières de la chambre se sont allumées, ils avaient apparemment un problème de domotique! Le technicien a pu résoudre le problème pour la deuxième nuit. Quand nous avons voulu commander un cocktail au bar, la barmaid loin d’être aimable nous avait complètement oublié!
• Arnaud (8/5): Bien situé mais nourriture décevante. - Situation et cadre au top. Personnel accueillant. Certaines infrastructures sont vieillissantes (mini golf notamment). Le gros point noir de cet hôtel c’est la restauration, vraiment pas bonne. Les oreillers sont inconfortables.

• céline (8/5): Super lieu! - Lieu que nous apprécions beaucoup, familial, au calme et permettant de nombreuses activités. Le personnel est très gentil. Nous erions déjà venus et nous reviendrons, malgré ses 5 heures de route de Noumea. :-)

• Priscillia (4/5): - Point fort : Le site de la plage blanche est magnifique. L'accueil d'arrivée bien. Buffets dîner petit déjeuner, correct. Beaucoup de raie en bord de mer, dangereux pour s'y baigner. Prévoir le spray anti-moustique car pas agréable. Piscine privée en Bungalow pas propre. Sur le départ gros désagrément concernant le paiement de la nuitée, qui avait été prépayée deux semaines à l'avance sur expédia. Pas d'excuse de la part de l'agent d'accueil qui au bout d'un quart de discussion a pu retrouver le paiement. Il avait fallu lui prouver en lui montrer que la nuitée avait été bien débitée sur mon compte bancaire, sans cela, elle nous faisait repayer la nuitée. Aberrant !!!

• Nigel (8/5): Hotel (fast) am Ende vom La Grande Terre - Das Hotel ist fast so weit im Norden vom Hauptinseln Neukaledoniens als es möglich ist und ist ziemlich isoliert. Es ist relativ gut eingerichtet - die Bungalows sind komfortabel, aber nicht übermässig gross und es gibt auch einen Schwimmbad, dem ich nicht gebraucht habe. Das Personal war freundlich und das Einchecken unkompliziert. Das Essen schmeckt, ist aber ziemlich teuer (war nicht im Zimmerpreis inkludiert) und es gibt praktisch keine Alternative in der Nähe.

• Pierre (10/5): Un séjour très agréable en Nouvelle-Calédonie. - Nous avons passé deux jours à l' hôtel. Le rapport qualité prix est bon. Nous avons senti un bon esprit d'équipe chez les personnels. Quel plaisir d'avoir un service de qualité, de sentir que l' établissement est fréquenté et entretenu. Une note spéciale au manager qui est à l' écoute, des employés Côme des clients.
• Anne-Marie (8/5): Décevant - Séjour en famille (3 bungalows réservés). A l'arrivée, les 3 bungalows réparties sur l'ensemble du park et non côte à côte comme demandé. Bilan très moyen par rapport aux anciennes réservations. il faut mendier le shampoing et le savon (la prochaine fois, j''emmènerai les miens. Coté restauration, le petit déjeuner et le snack à midi sont extra. Le buffet du soir est complètement quelconque, assez pauvre et sur trois jours, identiques. Décevant sur l'ensemble

• Verified traveler (8/5): - A beautiful hotel surrounded by a beautiful ground on a nice quiet long beach. Besides the bed the room has a small sitting area that overlooking a beautiful garden. This hotel is connected to a little island that serves coffee and lunch. Everything was new and functioning. We arrived half an hour before the check-in time and we're not let in, not until ten minutes later when someone who looked like a manager came back to the counter and he offered us the room we booked. This person did everything from checking us in, carting our luggage to the bungalow and giving us the local knowledge of the area. Wonderful!
• Marion (4/5): On ne reviendra pas - L’hôtel est infesté de moustiques. Répulsifs à gogo dès que possible. Nous sommes venus avec notre bateau heureusement un employé nous a averti qu’en une nuit il serait volé et nous l’avons déplacé dans un endroit un peu plus sécuritaire (derrière une barrière de l’hôtel). Cependant, ça ne plaisait pas aux employés qu’on est un bateau car on allait sur les îlots et on ne mangeait pas dans l’hôtel mais des poissons. Les jeux (golf : le terrain est inondé d’eau car il avait plu et rien n’est fait pour que l’eau s’évacue, la balançoire vue mer est dans un état laborieux, la piscine il y avait un gros galet de chlore dedans pas super pour se baigner. Dès qu’on s’approche de la plage y’a des moustiques par milliers on était vraiment bien sûr les îlots car pas de moustiques eau transparente mais lorsqu’on est revenus une personne a agresse mon grand père sous prétexte qu’il était interdit de pêcher hors ce n’est pas une réserve et en plus on péchait trois poissons on est pas des pilleurs... La chambre était très bien, manque juste un étendoir pour les vêtements mouillés. Attention aussi beaucoup de raies de sable au abords de la plage faire attention de pas mettre le pied dessus. Les petits déjeuners étaient sympas mais chers. On a mangé une fois le soir et c’était pas exceptionnel vu le prix!! Toutes les activités sont gratuites canoe, tennis, tir à l’arc, ping-pong et ça c’est super.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place in a remote area - There is limited choice in the area. It was a nice stay, more expensive than we prefer and facilities were not much better. Power went out a lot! Pool was not clean enough to try. Sink did not drain properly. Restaurant was too expensive for us. Staff was helpful to direct us were to get a water taxi for snorkelling. Overall ok.
• Nicholas M. (8/5): Awesome family experience - Beauiful hotel, big surprise 'out of nowhere!' Staff very friendly and helpful. Problem with the water when we arrived but was soon sorted. Probably would have been better to be up front when we arrived as we would have been more careful. Food is very expensive, and you are caught as no where else to go. Have found all the meals in New Caledonia have been very expensive. Good idea to bring what you can with you.
• David (8/5): lovely beach bungalows on a beautiful lagoon - Malabou is at the very north of New Caledonia and is quite isolated. The drive from Noumea up the west coast can be done in one day but it would be better to take a break half way at say the Sheraton Deva Resort near Bourail. Eating out everywhere in New Caledonia is expensive and uninspiring. At Malabou there is really no other choice but the resort. We drove down the east coast, which is quite an adventure. Hienghene is spectacular and a definite over night stay. The trip is spoilt by trying to go back to Noumea all the way from Malabou in one day. Much too far on narrow windey roads especially at night with locals in a hurry to get home. There are plenty of lovely picnic spots, so next time I would buy a baguette, salad and cheese at a local shop. There was even one spot with an honour system for hiring Kayaks.
• Rick (8/5): Malabou again - If you want the full 5 star experience, this is not for you. 6th visit over 3 years. This is an excellent retreat, in idyllic surrounds. Excellent smorgasbord meals, great staff and service. The revamped bungalows are a real improvement. Beach, pool and bar all excellent. Staff have good communication skills and manage the french english thing very well. Better than most in New Caledonia
• phebess (10/5): Gorgeous bungalow by the sea! - The bungalows are being renovated - some are in process, others are completely new inside. It was gorgeous, with a huge comfy bed, plenty of room, a couch, and a porch with chaises - and what a view of the lagoon! The water nearly touches the lawn at high tide! Relaxing place, good for water sports, and time for walking on the beach or just reading on the porch.
• Stephane (4/5): Hotel close to Poum - Beautiful spot on the beach. Run down bungalows in poor conditions. Bathroom mould and all. Refurbishment program is under way. Very poor food at the restaurant and grossly overpriced. There is nowhere to go to get anything to eat as this spot is very isolated. Not much to do apart from going to the beach.
