- Klaus Werner (8/5): Gut für einen Zwischenstopp - Als Zwischenstation auf unserer Südafrika-Rundreise war diese Unterkunft mehr als ausreichend, das Zimmer hatte alles was man benötigt, das W-Lan war etwas schwach. Die Anlage um die Unterkunft war etwa ungepflegt, Tisch und Stühle im Außenbereich waren in keinem guten Zustand. Hier könnte man in allen Bereichen etwas verbessern!!

It was great having a clean car in the morning, by a very friendly staff member who proudly informed me that he had cleaned my car! I called the premises to book a room and it was cheaper via Booking.com. Knowing that booking sites take their cut I felt it would be in your interest to offer me a better price.

- Nils (7/5): Eine Nacht in Ladybrand - Nettes Restaurant anbei. Notstromgenerator um auch bei Gewitter oder Load Shedding Strom zu haben. Wir haben ein sehr großes Zimmer erhalten. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war generell sauber. Unser Zimmer hat etwas muffig gerochen. Der Teppich dort könnte einmal ausgetauscht werden sowie das Bettzeug erneuert.

- Lindie (6/5): Cranberry Cottage overnight stay - The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The property is spacious with lots of little outside areas to sit. The Butler service was not available when we had an issue early evening and the reception was also closed earlier than we were led to believe from the information given in the folder in the room. We would also have appreciated being able to order a good coffee early morning. Despite these small issues, the friendly staff when available, made our stay a happy one.

The room was good with great facilities, but I had booked the deluxe family room, and I guess was expecting a little more. The wi-fi was strong and fast, which is a huge plus. The floor was fully carpeted and there were some pretty rugs. The room was in a shaded area and didn't get much sun in the morning

Considering the distance between the rooms and the parking, we would appreciate some assistance from the staff to move our luggage ..... - Sheriff (8/5): A great place to rest that needs a bit of external cleaning, otherwise a must try and perfect spot - The view from the room was perfect, very quite at night for someone who wants to rest. Rooms and bathroom spacious enough for a couple and a cousy balcony. Thanks to the guy who works in the parking yard who voluntarily washed our car, we did not have to stress about going to the car wash but pay for the available service. More information regarding available services upon checkin would be helpful. The surroundings could also do with a bit of cleaning along the walk way, even areas that are not in use towards spa area to allow free movement. I was not impressed with dinner, we ordered chicken curry which was very blunt, we thought fresh chillie or coriander would help but there was none. It was not nicely prepared and the rice served was not basmati.

- Hanno (4/5): Will not book there again - lack of assistance and overpriced for Ladybrand of all places. - The quality bed and blackout curtains made resting in the evenings a dream! Pizza on the deck was fantastic. We specifically did not select a breakfast option yet i was charged for breakfast inclusive but never told by the staff at reception. First night we didn’t have hot water and the electric gate wasn’t working. Both these were addressed afterwards. Fridge had ants inside which was never addressed and we had to clean it ourselves eventually. We asked about laundry (ironing) but my pants remained in the couch for several days before i decided to take them to a laundromat myself. Dinner in the Cellar was utterly disappointing with sides only arriving after the mains were finished.
- Khopotso (1/5): It was a horrible stay! - I didn’t like anything. The room was not clean, the water from the taps was brown, as a result I left without taking a shower. The toilet wouldn’t flush in the middle of the night, the plastic spoons provided for coffee were dirty like they had been used before. My neighbours made a racket most of the night and were screaming each other’s names in the passage and we couldn’t sleep through that, but there was no one available to control that.
