Sean (7/5): Great for a quick night in Penticton. Summertime would be amazing being on the beach. - We were looking at properties in the area so we just needed a quiet, cheap bed for the night. Our adult son and ourselves were travelling together. The suite was nice to spread out. We got there after dark, but in the morning I went for a walk and this old motel is ON the beach (or as close as you can get) looking south over Skaha Lake. Very cool location. It was pretty cold at night (April) and the blankets were skimpy. We were all a little cold despite turning up the thermostat. Maybe we did something wrong. An extra blanket would have been nice. Everything worked although there were few electrical outlets to plug my laptop into in the morning while working at the table. I had a great shower, but my wife said hers didn't heat up - that may have been user error as the hot / cold label was reversed.
Michael (6/5): Probably won’t stay again - The price was good… A lot of little things… very outspoken about what they were going to charge us for… Pool out of service… coffee maker had old pod still in it… toilet seat had to be held up…built in cutting board had food dried on it… no Kleenex, just terrible toilet paper…shower didn’t drain… no smoking policy made me practically leave the property…

Stephanie (4/5): - Check in was easy. And patio & bbq area was very nice! Room was dated and bed was rock hard. The smoke detector battery was low and was beeping from 1am on, when I asked at check out about a bit of a refund since I wasn’t able to sleep all night and the noise was making my dog go crazy, they told me I should’ve called their emergency number which I only saw posted at their office door that was one property over and i didn’t take down at check in. So I got no resolution and wouldn’t stay there again.

Colin (7/5): It's alright. - The room was very clean, great location, quiet. Good value. Outdoor areas are well lit. The room was small.. REALLY small. Like, one foot on one side of the bed and about two feet on the other side and about a foot and a half at the foot of the bed and a small table. It's a great place to stay if you only need a room to sleep and shower (which is what I was looking for).

The bed was awful and I did complain the hotel clerk and she said she would make a note of it. I would not recommend This place no shampoo, no hand soap nothing given out.

Cheri (10/5): - This hotel sits directly across from a large park area with lots of grass and an off leash area for dogs. On the other side of the park is the beach and direct water access. The park is beautiful and well maintained so this is an excellent location. The room is large and has a separate bedroom area and a full kitchen. There is a TV in both the kitchen/living room area and another in the bedroom. I was travelling with dogs and it was very convenience for them as well. I will definitely stay here again next I am coming through Penticton.

Susana (8/5): Great location next to park and beach - We upgraded to unit 117; it had a full kitchen, bedroom and a room with a sofa couch, table and 4 chairs ; the hotel is outdated on the outside but the inside, some things were renovated; the best is the proximity to the beach with a long path to go for a walk; at the end of the walk there is a restaurant/pub for meals

Susana (8/5): Great location, close to skaha lake beach - The location is great. Park and Skaha lake beach are across the street. The hotel is outdated but it looks like they renovated certain things; stayed in unit 117, very spacious, full kitchen and one bedroom with 2 beds and 2 windows.
michala (10/5): - This is an older property (the decor is dated, but spotlessly clean), at a fabulous location right next to a beautiful treed park and the beach at Skaha Lake. We chose it mainly for the location, but the motel turned out to be perfect for our needs. There is a full kitchen - range, sink, fridge, and microwave. Outside each unit is a sitting area with a table and four chairs (I suspect that the upstairs units’ outdoor areas are somewhat smaller than those of the ground floor units). We ate breakfast outside each day, and had our own happy hour outside as well. It’s a one-minute walk to the beautiful beach. Hopefully we’ll be able to return again next year!

Brian (4/5): The location was excellent but the accommodation was very disappointing given the premium rates. - The location was excellent. The room size and configuration was good. Although the wifi did not work a service tech arrived quickly and provided an acceptable solution. The bed was very uncomfortable. The sofa was also uncomfortable to use. The bathroom tub and plumbing was in poor repair. The towels were so thin that you could barely dry yourself. One of the towels was labeled "staff" with a black marker and was intended for cleaning. The fridge freezer leaked water onto the fridge shelves. The frying pan and lid had not been cleaned. The sauna and pool were closed and appeared to have been closed for some time

Jane (8/5): - Very accommodating hotel. The room was comfortable and the hotel convenient. The area was lovely and we felt safe and welcomed. The only drawback was the other guests were kinda loud and since it was pleasant weather, they were outside kinda loud :). Additionally the walls were a bit thin. Overall though it was pleasant, clean and comfortable and good value for money.

It is a dog friendly property which is great, and the suites on the top floor have a magical view of the park and some can even see the lake. Highly recommend for a trip to Penticton!

Karin (6/5): - Parking lot is very cramped and difficult to manoeuvre in. Kitchen only had the barest essential amenities. No paper towel, no dish cloth, no decent tea towel. Glassware was not clean. Fridge opens wrong way. Limited access to eating establishments. No placemats or anything to eat on. Table on patio not clean. Bathtub looks very grimy - either remove the non-slip strips or at least scrub them - disgusting! We did not use the tub. Beds were acceptable for comfort. Windows dirty, blinds need maintenance also dirty. Property is quite old, dated and run down. Otherwise tolerable and ok for the price. Management was very friendly and cooperative, allowing us to cancel our 2nd night as we had a family emergency requiring us to leave early. Appreciated that. Pretty quiet for such a busy location.

Olha (6/5): disappointed - location, view from the window, gorgeous park, beautiful lake and beach within walking distance I have stayed at this hotel more than once over the years. Unfortunately, I can say that there are more minuses than pluses. It seems that they are simply making money on the location of the motel and do not invest in improvements for staying in it. The furniture is old, there is still carpet on the floor, which, of course, is not washed, problems with flushing water, taps,the bathtub cannot be washed because of the anti-slip coating, towels do not always look clean ..... I am not sure that I will choose this motel next time.

Cathy (2/5): DISGUSTING - DO NOT book this Hotel. It’s disgusting, run down, moldy, FILTHY, with the cheapest of cheap mattresses, rooms the size of a closet, exterior is equally gross & disgusting. Advertises a hot tub, no such thing & if there was a hot tub it wouldn’t meet any health standards. This place is Completely overpriced & the reviews must be fake because this place should be shut down. I paid for a lake view queen room & they tried to put us in 121 which is a closet with a double bed at the back of the hotel. I complained & we were moved, only to receive a late night call saying we would have to move back to our original room (118) My husband went to the office (located in another motel down the street) so we didn’t move. But overall a complete joke of a place & I literally threw away over $1000 for garbage. This place should not be listed on Hotels.com!

Vancouver (7/5): Great location but false advertising on facilities - The location is great, right across the street from a park and the beach. There is a nice Boardwalk along the beach and park to walk with your dog. The room was clean and the pillows were comfortable. There is a mini fridge, coffee pot and a bistro table outside. We had an upstairs end unit so unfortunately no view.. Very disappointed and frustrated that they advertise a hot tub and it hasn't been working for months! I will attach a photo of the sign and I specifically booked this property so we would have a hot tub to use after a long days drive. I had also thought there was a pool but none on site.The office is closed and you have to check in two doors down, apparently the same owner owns three motels in a row and only keeps one office open.
Jade (10/5): Our second time here and will not be the last - We love the location, the rooms, and atmosphere. If you are looking for a kitschy, fun getaway that everyone will love this is the place for you. The rooms are fantastically thought out and simple. You have everything you need right there. It really doesn't get better than this. The aspect ratio on the tv was off so unless you watched an HD channel the picture was small (not all channels are in HD), not sure how to fix it but it's a very trivial small issue that in no way hinders how much we love this place.

Dana-Rae (6/5): - We loved the location of this place. Right across from the beach which was spectacular. Unfortunately we only had housekeeping come by once during our 5 night stay and it was on our 4th day. It was hard to get new towels which was disappointing.
Ziba (8/5): - Very good location By the lake and park
Leah (10/5): - Perfect location for me and my 10 and 6 year old. Basically right on the beach and a huge park as well. Walmart etc about a 5 min drive. Coming back next year!
Gowans (7/5): We would go back but not to that room - The room was very clean but EXREMELY small, suitable for a single traveller but they put a Queen sized bed in that made everything very cramped.
Anna (6/5): - The shower curtains didn't keep water in, building was loud and you needed to check in at the beach front inn

Bartsch (8/5): Very good - Right in front of the beach, room was clean and comfortable, front desk staff were friendly.
Ilias (8/5): Very good - it was a good stay Spider web at the corner of the walls
